Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how literacy Saturday activities affect the skills of writing narrative texts for fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya during the pandemic. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with data obtained from several sources, including: The Fifth Grade Teachers, Librarians, and Students of The Fifth Grade. The techniques used in this research are participant observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study, namely Saturday Literacy is a literacy activity carried out on Saturdays, which lasts 45 minutes. Students are asked to read the narrative text in pdf form, then retell it in written form. In addition, this activity is useful in increasing their narrative text writing skills, and this bold literacy Saturday activity is suitable for use during a pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran model Open Ended Problems berbantuan media video pembelajaran, siswa mampu menyampaikan ide atau pendapat, mampu menjawab setiap permasalahan pada pembelajaran matematika. Selain itu, untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan jenis PTK (Penilaian Tindakan Kelas), analisis data menggunakan deskriptif, subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 2 SD Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus, sebelum masuk siklus penelitian, terdapat tahap awal dengan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini dari proses penerapan Open Ended Problems pada tahap awal tidak ada penerapan model pembelajaran apapun di kelas 2 SD Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya, sehingga siswa pasif dalam pembelajaran. Pada siklus 1, siswa mulai aktif dalam menyampaikan ide atau pendapat mereka, pada siklus 2 terdapat progres yang sangat baik, hampir keseluruhan siswa timbul rasa percaya diri untuk menyampaikan ide atau pendapat mereka dan mulai menanggapi setiap pertanyaan. Terlihat juga adanya perubahan berpikir kreatif siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 46,15% dengan mencapai nilai indikator kriteria penilaian 75 dan pada siklus 2 sebesar 80,76% dengan mencapai indikator kriteria penilaian yakni 95. Hasil tersebut telah menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model Open Ended Problems berbantuan media video pembelajaran meningkatkan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas 2 SD Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya.

Abstract

; The problem in this study is the teacher's lack of creativity in the learning process in the classroom so that students lack interest in learning. This research is a quantitative research with the type of correlational research which aims to determine the relationship between teacher creativity and student interest in learning. The results showed that obtained rx = 0.443, the relationship between the two variables was classified at the level of relationship in the "medium" category, because it was in the range 0.40 - 0.599 and the rcount value (0.443) was greater (>) rtable value (0.177), which means H0 rejected and Ha accepted. Based on the analysis of the data above, it can be concluded that teacher creativity will have an impact on students' interest in learning. So, the better the teacher's creativity, the better the student's interest in learning. From these conclusions, the impact resulting from this study is known that the creativity of a good teacher will increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menjelaskan mengenai peran mahasiswa dalam membantu adaptasi teknologi terhadap guru pada program Kampus Mengajar 1 di SD Pelita Bangsa Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini yakni metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan naratif. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan mengenai peran mahasiswa dalam adaptasi teknologi dalam program kampus mengajar di SD Pelita Bangsa Surabaya dari pengalaman mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjelaskan bahwa peran mahasiswa dapat membantu guru dalam pembelajaran dan administrasi terutama pada adaptasi teknologi terutama dimasa pandemi. Hasil observasi menunujukan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi yang dilakukan oleh guru belum beragam. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa sangat membantu dalam adaptasi teknologi karena dapat memperluas pengetahuan mengenai teknologi dan dapat membantu perkembangan sekolah. Hasil dokumentasi menujukkan mahasiswa telah melakukan kegiatan adaptasi teknologi pada saat program Kampus Mengajar. Pada perubahan sistem pendidikan saat ini membuat masalah baru yang akan dihadapi sekolah terutama para guru yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi dalam penggunaan teknologi untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar-mengajar. Penelitan ini berdasarkan permasalahan yang dialami guru karena pemahaman mengenai teknologi masih cukup dalam mengoperasikan atau penggunaannya. Hadirnya mahasiswa membantu mengatasi permasalahan dan meberikan solusi yang praktis untuk sekolah terutama untuk guru dalam membuka wawasan baru sekaligus memberikan pengalaman baru kepada mahasiswa.

Abstract

Social Sciences (IPS) is a subject that has an important role in forming good citizens, so learning Social Sciences (Social Studies) is very important at the basic education level where basic education is the foundation of understanding and knowledge about how to live socialize in society. This study aims to obtain the implementation of social studies learning towards the formation of students' character in elementary schools. This research was conducted in Rokan Hulu Regency, which is located at SD Negeri 010 Rambah on December 11, 2021. Using qualitative descriptive research methods. Sources of data obtained are primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were teachers in elementary schools. The results of this study can determine the character is an individual trait, a person's personality, character and behavior that a person has in a person's life. Character is the main aspect in shaping a person's quality to be a noble person. Social studies education plays an important role in producing quality students, namely humans who are able to think critically, creatively, logically, and take the initiative in dealing with social symptoms and problems that develop in society.

Abstract

The background of this reseacrh is that the researchis wants to know and describe further about the analysis of learning motivation on the listening skills of third grade students of SDS Muhammadiyah 06 Tebet. This study aims to analyze the learning motivation of the grade students of SDS Muhammadiyah 06 Tebet, explain how the learning process in analiyzing the learning motivation of the third grade students of SDS Muhammadiyah 06 Tebet is listening and what factors can incrase learning motivation and teacher efforts to maintain qualitu. Learning motivation on students: listening skills. The results of the study show that the learning process in the analysis of learning motivation on students’listening process in the analysis of learning motivation on stundents’ listening skills is carried out using the Google Meet aplication, WhatsApp group and the Kejar Cita website. Factors that can increse learning motivation in students’ listening skills, there are 2 motivations, namely instrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation, both of which are veri influential in a learning process. Intrinsic motivation is found in students because of the spririt and ideals to be achieved and extrinsic motivation given by teachers, parents, friends and the environment can improve student learning outcomes. The teacher’s efforts in maintaining the quality of learning motivation on students’ listening skills by providing video, motivatonal words before strating learning, and providing active and fun learning

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in thematic learning by applying learning videos. The research subjects were the students of class IV.B SD Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya City from odd semester in academic year of 2021/2022 with a total 25 students. The instrument used was the form of learning outcomes test, student activity test and teacher management test in learning. Based on the results of the study, the increase in learning outcomes with the percentage of classical learning completeness in cycle I and cycle II were 60% and 88%, respectively. The results of observing student activities obtained and increase in the average percentage of cycle I dan cycle II was around 70% and 75%. The results from observations of teacher management in learning is increase in the average percentage of cycle I and cycle II were 71% and 78%, respectively. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that learning videos can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This background is researcher who wants to know and further describe the obstacle of online learning process in class 2B SDN Pengadegan 07 Jakarta Year 2020/2021 with a type of Descriptive Qualitative research. This research aims to explain the implementation of experienced by teachers and student, and efforts teachers take in overcoming obstacles in the online learning process in the class of 2B SDN Pengadegan 07 Jakarta Year 2020/2021. Result of research suggest that the process online learning uses only whatsapp group withput zoom, classroom and other support applications. In the learning process, surely there are obstacles faced by both teachers and students, such as mobile phone constraints, quota, learning materials, parents who cannot accompany the learning due to work, late task collection, students who lack understanding of the material. However, teachers have an effort in overcoming the obstacle, such as teachers fo not give the task collection deadline, always working with parents on the online learning, giving students a spirit in video and image.

Abstract

This study aims to find out if there is an increase in student learning outcomes, to find out an increase in student activity, to find out an increase in teacher activity in managing learning using the picture and picture method in class II fraction material at SD Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya during the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in cycle stages including planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The subject of this Classroom Action Research is the second grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya, totaling 34 students. The object of this research is the result of learning in the matter of recognizing fractions. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and test questions. The research data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The indicator of the success of this research is if at least 75% of students have reached the KKM, which is 75 and the average grade has reached the KKM. The results showed an increase. Based on student learning outcomes classically increased by 23%

Abstract

In the development of science and technology in the 21st century, skills such as HOTS are very important. In Indonesia, its implementation in the HOTS field has not been fully achieved, due to the implementation of a learning model that is difficult for teachers to remember in its syntax. This study aims to determine the RADEC learning model to improve HOTS in social studies learning in elementary schools. The method used in this study is a systematic review, namely a review of previous studies. The result of this study is that HOTS in social studies learning becomes a very important thing that must be developed by teachers, because in the 21st Century HOTS is one of the most important skills students have to answer the challenges of the 21st century. One of the learning models that can be applied to improve HOTS is RADEC which starts from Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-Create.
