Al Mishbah Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah dan Komunikasi is an academic peer-reviewed journal that publishes the latest issues in the field of dawah and communication, including areas of dawah discourse, such as Islamic counseling and the development of Islamic societies. Since 2012, the journal has been published regularly twice in one year June and December. The primary audience of Al Mishbah Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah dan Komunikasi is academics, students, practitioners, and those who have an interest in the field of dawah and communication.

Central Sulawesi is a country that is very prone to natural disasters, while at the same time facing a high prevalence of child marriage. Many studies show that in times of humanitarian crisis, the practice of early child marriage greatly affects the increase in the number of child marriages. This study intends to examine the relationship between natural disasters and child marriage in Central Sulawesi. The results showed that natural disasters were positively related to the likelihood of girls entering child marriage. Child marriage can be an option for households to reduce the burden when they face the adverse welfare effects of natural disasters. Family communication patterns also reduce the number of early marriages. Of the five models of family communication, the role of parents as educators, role models and friends, counselors, and communicators is considered effective to prevent early marriage rates. The strong relationship between child marriage and natural disasters should attract the attention of policymakers to carry out better disaster mitigation programs, as well as to effectively provide assistance to the most vulnerable members of society when natural disasters occur.

Sholawat is worship that is light in its implementation but has great rewards, therefore it will be effective and efficient if sholawat is used as a medium for preaching. One of them is sholawat Rodad, because sholawat Rodad has its own uniqueness compared to other prayers. The purpose of this study is to explain how sholawat Rodad as a medium of da'wah. To obtain the results of this study the authors used qualitative methods with observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The results of this study state that every movement played by dancers has the meaning of da'wah, namely how a Muslim can maintain hablum minallah and hablum minannas so that the realization of a more prosperous life in the world and in the hereafter.

This study aims to explain that the function of the traditional Sasadu house is not only seen as a cultural phenomenon but can also be seen as a means of cultural communication owned by the Sahu Tribe community in West Halmahera Regency. The shape of this traditional house is rectangular which was built on the ground and does not have an insulating wall in the middle of the village on the side of the road so that everyone has easy access from various directions. The method used in this research is qualitative which explores the meaning of the Sasadu traditional house by using a communication approach. Data were obtained through interviews with informants who were selected in a purposive way or based on the criteria for the research objectives. The results of the study describe the existence of the Sasadu traditional house as a symbol that brings together people from various circles and becomes the glue of social relations. Every ornament in the Sasadu traditional house contains cultural messages that are full of meaning about the values of life that must be preserved by each generation so that apart from being a cultural heritage, the Sasadu traditional house also has a social and cultural communication function

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused instability in the order of people's lives, including in preaching activities. Da'wah which is usually done by gathering and crowding is becoming increasingly limited, the preachers are required to innovate in each of their da'wah activities. One of the da'wah models that can be used to respond effectively and efficiently to space, time and cost during the Covid-19 pandemic is the contemporary da'wah model. Researchers took two figures, namely Sokhi Huda and Fahrurrozi to explain the concept of contemporary da'wah. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a library research strategy. The results of this study are: the quality of contemporary preachers who interpret da'wah as a mandate from God with all the accompanying situations and conditions, contemporary da'wah material is interpreted as a combination of religious messages and health messages, and contemporary da'wah media is defined as massive use of virtual space

Bank sebagai suatu lembaga keuangan sangat memegang peranan dalam perkonomian suatu negara. Sesuai dengan fungsi dan tugasnya bank merupakan lembaga keuangan yang mempermudah transaksi-transaksi yang terjadi antara berbagai pihak di dalam masyarakat. Pembayaran transaksi yang terjadi ini diantaranya dengan sistem cek atau bilyet giro. Disamping itu, bank merupakan perantara bagi masyarakat yang kelebihan uang dengan masyarakat/pihak yang kekurangan uang. Dengan kata lain bank merupakan penghubung bagi pihak-pihak yang menabungkan uangnya dengan mereka yang membutuhkan uang atau modal dalam mengembangkan usahanya.

Sistem komunikasi pembangunan industri kreatif di Kabupaten Jepara berada dalam situasi krisis, sangat lemah dan tidak adaptif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan komunikasi pembangunan yang kuat dan adaptif dalam merespon kompleksitas ekosistem industri kreatif di Jepara sebagai kota ukir. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan mekanisme autopoetic yang terefleksikan dalam sistem komunikasi pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dari observasi, wawancara mendalam secara intensif, dan studi dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan adalah sistem komunikasi pembangunan autopoiesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sistem komunikasi pembangunan Jepara masih kurang kuat dan adaptif dalam menangkap apa yang dibutuhkan masyarakatnya.

The purpose of this research is to find out the special buyer's interest in journalism students in reading the submitted advertisements.This research uses qualitative research to facilitate data collection to be analyzed. This research into the attractiveness of shopee advertising will result in detailed research and knowledge based on an attempt to build a view that is formed from a complex big picture. From the results of the study and the results of the discussion of this study, it can be concluded that the 2022 journalism students agree with the attractiveness of shopee advertisements attracting buying interest. Because the ads that are delivered are clear, creative, and have audio that can make people who watch the ad that runs until it runs out. From the ad impressions that were delivered, they received a positive response, making the audience watch until the end.

The researcher writes this research to describe the students’ problem in public speaking especially students at KPI Class of UIN Datokarama Palu in the Academic Year of 2021/2022. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative research. The researcher made the transcript of video as the source of the data. The researcher used documentation to select the data, and it was also intended to give some contributions concerning to the factors that influence the students’ problem in public speaking. The researcher had chosen the fifth semester students of KPI at UIN Datokarama Palu, in the academic year 2021/2022. The subject were 40 students. The data were analyzed by using error analysis method. The factors that influenced the problems were found out from the result of the observation and interview. The result of this research showed that many problems in public speaking was as follow; (1) Eye contact does not focus on the camera (2) They did not convey the moral message of the content (3) They did not give the reasons related to the themes discussed (4) They got too many pauses while speaking (5) The video is too short (6) They did not greet the audience (7) The video display is less attractive (8) The Sound is not clear (9) They still read the material while speaking (10) There were no gestures while they are explaining the materials (11) Their sound was covered by the back sound of the music. Where the factors influenced their problems in speaking consist of two factors; internal and external factors.From the result above, the researcher concludes that there should be a new method, strategy, and technique used by the lecturer in Public Speaking Class, so that their public speaking skill could be improved.

Communication in the family is an important factor in determining the good or bad attitude of children. Parents play an important role in educating their children. In the Koran there are many communication between parents and children, one of which is communication between the prophet Abraham and his son, the prophet Ismail. The story of the prophet Ibrahim and the prophet Ismail is a good example for parents and children to be able to communicate well while still prioritizing the aspect of obedience to Allah SWT. This is stated in Q.S As-Saffat:102. This study uses the theory of family communication patterns with descriptive research methods. The findings of this study found that there are ethical aspects of Islamic communication carried out by the prophet Ibrahim and the prophet Ismail, and the pattern of communication carried out is authoritative.

Television (TV) can be a good means of education and coaching. Various messages of kindness can be broadcast on TV so that they can help Islamic community development activities through Islamic studies on TV shows. The broadcast process cannot be separated from the role of journalist organizations, such as in Bandar Lampung through the Indonesian Television Journalists Association (IJTI) Lampung. The problem in this study is how the strategy and success of IJTI Lampung in carrying out Islamic community development activities. The research in this thesis uses qualitative descriptive methods, in the process of finding and compiling the data is carried out systematically using field data, documentation or notes obtained by the author. Then the author of which groups are important and which will be studied to make conclusions and can be made an objective decision. The results showed that the strategy carried out by IJTI Lampung in the development of Islamic society was in accordance and could be said to be successful with organizational strategy theory, where the actions taken were to conduct journalistic training, participate in monitoring in the field, and evaluate the results of training to the community, especially students. In addition, the strategy carried out is in accordance with the theory of community development where the trainees are given maximum debriefing with the aim of being able to develop their potential d ßan ability in the field of journalism.
