Al Mishbah Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah dan Komunikasi is an academic peer-reviewed journal that publishes the latest issues in the field of dawah and communication, including areas of dawah discourse, such as Islamic counseling and the development of Islamic societies. Abstract

Hadirnya pendidikan Islam non formal berkembang dari dinamika kegiatan dakwah, yang realitasnya tidak hanya tampak dan tampil pada ceramah, khutbah, dan tablig. Umat Islam selalu meminta kepada para muballig, ustaz, dan ulama untuk lebih intensif dan terperinci dalam menyampaikan ajaran Islam. Pada puncak spektrum dakwah di sebuah wilayah atau daerah, masyarakat tampil berpartisipasi membangun sarana pendidikan Islam, supaya para muballig mengajarkan ajaran Islam. Pada peristiwa ini lahirlah madrasah, pondok pesantren, majelis taklim, dan lain-lain. Penelitian kepustakaan (library research) pada kajian didaktika dakwah dalam satuan pendidikan Islam non formal direspon oleh kondisi kenegaraan, dengan pengaturan berbagai macam regulasi konstitusional. Peserta didik pendidikan Islam non formal, mendapatkan perlindungan hukum terhadap orisinalitas konten pendidikan dan terjaminnya kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study describes the effectiveness of intercultural communication among the people of Suka Mulya Village, which is home to the two most populous ethnic groups, the Gorontalo and the Javanese. This study employs a qualitative research method. Data successfully collected from primary and secondary sources via interviews and observation was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and concluding/data verification. The study's findings revealed intercultural communication between Gorontalo and Javanese ethnics in Suka Mulya Village, as evidenced by seven indicators: mutual respect, cultural acculturation, mindfulness, openness, tolerance, empathy, interdependence, and inter-ethnic marriage.

Abstract

This research is to describe the communication style of ustadz Abdul Somad on social media that is viral and liked by students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Da'wah. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method to solve the problem investigated by describing the subject/object of research based on facts or the condition of the natural object. In this case, the compiler uses the approach psychology of communication. The research results show that most follow and like Abdul Somad's communication style on social media, and some just like his relaxed, humorous but firm communication style without following it. Then the effects that students get or feel are cognitive effects (additional knowledge), affective effects (emotions, feelings, and attitudes), and behavioral or conative effects (related to behavior).

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan resepsi audiens dalam mengartikan, menganalisa, dan membenarkan makna terhadap gaya fashion pada sebuah postingan akun Instagram. Peneliti menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif, digunakan untuk mengetahui intrepretasi audiens tentang fashion yang dibagikan lewat unggahan foto yang ada di Instagram @Jejouw. Sedangkan untuk metodenya menggunakan pendekatan secara kualitatif dimana penelitian ini dipusatkan pada prinsip umum yang didasari dari perwujudan sebauah arti dari gejala sosial yang ada di dalam lingkungan bermasyarakat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemikiran setiap orang dalam merespsikan sebuah postingan itu berbeda – beda tergantung dari pengalaman, lingkungan yang mereka dapat dikeseharian mereka. Abstract

This research focuses on Instagram uploads from Holywings Indonesia which juxtapose two sacred names (Muhammad and Maria) with bottles of liquor (Gordon's Gin). The promotional upload then went viral until Holywings Indonesia was deemed to have blasphemed religion. This paper places the Holywings Indonesia promotional upload as a material object of semiotic studies. In the researcher's opinion, these uploads represent sign phenomena and tagging systems. Every language expression, image, color, and so on has a basis of meaning implied behind the sign. For research purposes, Saussure's scheme of signs (semiology) is used as a methodological tool in understanding the meaning of signs (markers and signifieds) uploaded by the Holywings Marketing Campaign.

Abstract

Nilam Sari Lawira actively supports dakwah activities among women in Central Sulawesi. Starting from teenage girls, housewives, to working professionals. The forum for religious education (majelis taklim) has become identical for women to study Islam. The female clerics took part in learning activities so as to create messages and contents of preaching strong gender access.The theory of sanad hadis that places female narrators conveying the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW has succeeded in demonstrating the power of women's dakwah that continues until now. The results of the study show that Nilam Sari Lawira has the power of science in providing adequate infrastructure and financial facilities for the success of women's preaching in Central Sulawesi.

Abstract

Banjar Pamali is still used in the life of the Urang Banjar community. However, on the other hand, Banjar pamali are often associated with superstitions and only believe in the supernatural. So that many consider that Banjar pamali is an act of polytheism. This study aims to explain that not all Banjar pamali lead to acts of polytheism and superstition, but there are several verses in Banjar pamali that also contain da'wah values. The data used by the authors in this study are data obtained from literature studies. The collected data will be analyzed semiotically with interpretive techniques. This research is a type of literature review research by looking for theoretical references that are relevant to the cases or problems found. The results of this study prove that there are some da'wah values ​​contained in the Banjar pamali oral tradition, namely sharia values ​​and morals. With that it can be said that Banjar pamali are not all related to superstition or polytheism. because of that there are many more oral literary traditions that are considered tabu and even shirk apart from Banjar pamali even though there are da'wah values ​​in them.

Abstract

Islamic political communication highlights the social and political role of religious life so that it is not trapped in identity politics and conflict in the name of religion, so it is necessary to maintain religious harmony. The view is based on a process that aims to provide influence to achieve the social connectedness expected by each individual in society. Harmony is an attractive thing in a pluralistic society. A life of mutual acceptance, mutual respect, mutual assistance and mutual cooperation between religious followers is what everyone wants. The public in dynamic life sometimes causes conflict. Tana Toraja Regency is an area where the majority of the population is Christian, but the people live in harmony and are even far from conflict, all of this is supported by very strong family ties, shared traditions, ancestral ties and awareness of love for the land of birth. Apart from that, custom is also an important factor in creating harmony in the Tana Toraja community. Harmony in Tana Toraja society is not based on coercive methods but has existed for a long time. Social Communication is a communication activity with a direction and goal of achieving a condition of social integration.

Abstract

Persuasive communication is one of the studies of communication that is often used as a method of influencing others in various ways. The formation of the character from the perspective of the Koran is not just an insight into good or bad but rather habituating, exemplifying, training, and instilling it. Persuasive communication in character building from the perspective of the Koran aims to influence attitudes and behavior for good things according to the perspective of the Koran. Data collected from online sources related to learning are analyzed descriptively. On the other hand, publications allow the rapid dissemination of information with attractive illustrations and presentation. However, on the other hand there is a clear tendency that the perspective of the Koran in persuasive communication forms a very important character. Therefore, after processing these findings, it can be concluded that persuasive communication in shaping the character of the Al-Quran perspective has the right way at the present time. Abstrak Komunikasi persuasif merupakan salah satu kajian komunikasi yang kerap digunakan sebagai metode mempengaruhi orang lain dalam berbagai hal. Pembentukan karakter perspektif Al-Quran bukan sekedar wawasan tentang baik atau buruk melainkan membiasakan, menyontohkan, melatihkan, maupun menanamkan. Komunikasi persuasif dalam pembentukan karakter perspektif Al-Quran ini bertujuan untuk mempengaruhi sikap, perilaku untuk hal-hal baik sesuai perspektif Al-Qur’an. Data yang dikumpulkan dari sumber online terkait pembelajaran dianalisis secara deskriptif, Di sisi lain, publikasi memungkinkan penyebaran informasi secara cepat dengan ilustrasi dan penyajian yang menarik. Namun, di sisi lain terdapat kecenderungan yang jelas bahwa perspektif Al-Quran dalam komunikasi persuasif membentuk karakter sangat penting adanya. Oleh karena itu, setelah mengolah temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa komunikasi persuasif dalam membentuk karakter perspektif Al-Quran memiliki cara yang tepat pada masa saat ini.

Abstract

This research discusses trash talking communication behavior that occurs in the online game PUBG Mobile through virtual communication features, namely chat and voice chat, which allow users to interact with other players. This research aims to analyze the trash talking behavior of Nonstra Bone teenagers in playing the online game PUBG mobile. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Primary data was obtained based on the results of observations and interviews with the Nostra Bone youth group, a PUBG Mobile online game community in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Research shows that the trash talking behavior carried out by Nostra Bone teenagers when playing the online game PUBG Mobile is that the motivation and duration of playing PUBG Mobile varies depending on the preferences of each player, the use of chat and voice chat features which are used to communicate virtually between players, and trash. Talking when playing PUBG mobile is a form of aggressive communication carried out by players, including flaming, namely sending offensive chats and voice chats in the form of using harsh words, insulting or demeaning other players. Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas tentang perilaku komunikasi trash talking yang terjadi dalam game online PUBG Mobile melalui fitur komunikasi virtual yaitu chat dan voice chat yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk berinteraksi dengan pemain lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku trash talking remaja Nonstra Bone dalam bermain game online PUBG mobile. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Data primer didapatkan berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara pada kelompok remaja Nostra Bone, sebuah komunitas game online PUBG Mobile di Kabupaten Bone, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku trash talking yang dilakukan remaja Nostra Bone dalam bermain game online PUBG Mobile yaitu motivasi dan durasi bermain PUBG Mobile yang bervariasi tergantung pada preferensi masing-masing pemain, penggunaan fitur chat dan voice chat yang digunakan untuk berkomunikasi secara virtual antarpemain, dan trash talking dalam bermain PUBG mobile berupa bentuk komunikasi agresif yang dilakukan oleh pemain di antaranya flaming, yaitu mengirim chat dan voice chat yang bersifat ofensif berupa penggunaan kata-kata kasar, menghina, atau merendahkan pemain lain.
