Abstract

This classroom action research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles at SMP N 6 Wewewa Timur Middle School. The subjects of the study were all students in class VIII, totaling 20 students. The results of the pre-cycle activity analysis showed that the average cognitive learning outcomes were 60.25 with a percentage of 35%; the average value was 64.5, with a percentage of 45%, increasing to 70.25, with a percentage of 75%. The results of the affective student learning analysis in the first cycle showed that students obtained high scores of 66.6% and moderate 33.4%. The results of the second cycle analysis showed an increase in student scores of 83.3% and moderate 16.7%. Based on the results of the analysis of each cycle, it can be concluded that using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model with the help of Interactive Leaflet and Ppt Media can improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive and affective domains.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop an electronic learning module oriented towards a contextual approach to valid biological technology innovation material. This research is development research using the ADDIE development model developed by Branch (2009). This research was carried out to the development stage, namely to the expert validation step, involving 2 lecturers as validators. The instrument used is a product validity test instrument. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the research conducted, a product has been produced in the form of an electronic learning module oriented towards a contextual approach to Biological Technology Innovation material. The validity test results with an average value of 88.54% meet the valid criteria. The research concluded that the electronic learning module oriented towards a contextual approach to Biological Technology Innovation material was valid.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum that is contextualised to current conditions. It is hoped that with a contextualised project base that is applied, students can better implement knowledge in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to analyse the relationship between the implementation of PjBL and learning activities in Landscape and Landscaping subjects. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the research subjects being students of Class XI ATP B at SMK Negeri 1 Bawen. The technique used is convenience sampling with an observation sheet instrument. The results of PjBL application can be seen in the learning activities and daily life of the students in school. In addition, the use of PjBL can also promote and develop the attitudes that exist in the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of creating a Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) garden on the knowledge and attitudes of elementary school students at Inpres Pa'baeng-Ba'baeng regarding medicinal plants. This research used an experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach. The students were divided into two groups: an experimental group that directly participated in creating the TOGA garden and a control group that did not participate. Data were collected through quizzes and questionnaires administered before and after the TOGA garden activity. The results showed a significant improvement in students' knowledge and attitudes towards medicinal plants after participating in the TOGA garden activity. The students who participated showed an increased understanding of various types of medicinal plants, their benefits, and demonstrated more concern for utilizing medicinal plants in daily life. This study concludes that creating a TOGA garden can be an effective method for improving students' knowledge and attitudes toward medicinal plants and can encourage the use of medicinal plants in daily life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Buku STEM dan Kewirausahaan: Panduan Lengkap Pembuatan Produk Bioedupreneur untuk program P5 di SMK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R&D (Research and Development) yang mengacu pada model penelitian pengembangan Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari enam tahap yaitu (1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan bentuk awal produk (4) uji coba lapangan awal, (5) revisi produk), dan (6) uji lapangan utama. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan lembar validasi dan angket (keterbacaan dan kepraktisan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Uji Kevalidan sangat valid berdasarkan penilaian validator ahli materi dan media dengan presentase 86% dan 87%. (2) Uji coba lapangan awal berdasarkan respon peserta didik di nilai sangat baik dengan presentase 85%. (3) Uji coba lapangan utama berdasarkan respon guru dan peserta didik di nilai sangat praktis dengan presentase 93% dan 87%. Kriteria ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan buku STEM dan Kewirausahaan: Panduan Lengkap Pembuatan Produk Bioedupreneur sangat valid, baik, dan praktis sehingga dapat digunakan pada program P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila). Abstract

The Indonesian National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003 emphasizes the importance of education in shaping individuals with faith and piety. Education in State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) aims to integrate general knowledge with Islamic values, including in Biology learning. However, observations in MAN across Padang Pariaman Regency indicate that the integration of Islamic values in Biology learning has not been fully implemented. The main obstacles include limited instructional time, inadequate teacher understanding, and a lack of reference materials. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing students' perceptions of the integration of Islamic values in Biology learning in Grade XI of MAN in Padang Pariaman Regency. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with a research population consisting of all Grade XI Science students from MAN 1, MAN 2, MAN 3, and MAN Insan Cendekia, totaling 319 students. A sample of 162 students was selected using Simple Random Sampling with the Slovin formula. Primary data were collected through teacher interviews and student questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using percentage calculations, averages, standard deviations, and categorization using SPSS 22. The findings reveal that, based on four key indicators—attention, mindset, value system, and personality type—students' perceptions of the integration of Islamic values in Biology learning fall within the good to very good category, with an average score in the good category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: (1) the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMAN 11 Luwu before implementing the Two Stay Two Stray learning model assisted by Mini Book media; (2) learning outcomes of class XI students at SMAN 11 Luwu after implementing the Two Stay Two Stray learning model assisted by Mini Book media; (3) the effect of implementing the Two Stay Two Stray learning model assisted by Mini Book media on class XI students at SMAN 11 Luwu. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all class XI students of SMA Negeri 11 Luwu. The sample for this research was class XI MIPA3 with 34 students as the experimental class and class XI MIPA4 with 34 students as the control class. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. The instruments in this research were learning outcomes tests and learning implementation observation sheets. Research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The research results show that: (1) student learning outcomes before implementing the Two Stay Two Stray learning model assisted by Mini Book media obtained an average score of 41.47 in the very low category; (2) student learning outcomes after implementing the Two Stay Two Stray learning model assisted by Mini Book media obtained an average score of 84.20 in the high category; (3) the t-test results obtain a sig value of 0.000 ˂ 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on this explanation, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model assisted by Mini Book media on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 11 Luwu.

Abstract

This study analyzes the integration of local wisdom in biology learning as an effort to support Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Local wisdom includes various knowledge and practices that contribute to environmental sustainability and play a role in enriching biology learning to make it more contextual and meaningful. The results showed that the application of local wisdom, such as traditional practices in natural resource management and the utilization of medicinal plants, can help students understand the concepts of ecosystems, biodiversity and conservation better. In addition, this approach is aligned with ESD goals, including improving the quality of education, sustainable consumption and production, and mitigating climate change. Nevertheless, the implementation of local wisdom in learning still faces obstacles, such as limited teaching materials and the readiness of educators. Therefore, supportive policies, training for teachers, and development of local wisdom-based learning media are needed to achieve ESD goals optimally.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of giving a mixture of ginger and olive oil on changes in the intensity of rheumatoid arthritis pain in the elderly in one of the villages in Ngawi Regency. This research design is pre-experimental with a one group pretest-post test research design. In this study, the population was 58 elderly people with rheumatoid arthritis pain in Kersikan Village. The sampling technique in this research used a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 15 respondents. And data collection uses observation sheets. The therapy intervention was carried out for 7 consecutive days. The results of the study showed that the intensity of pain before applying ginger and olive oil was on a pain scale of 5.00 with a minimum pain scale value of 3, a maximum pain scale value of 6, and a standard deviation of 0.867. The intensity of pain after applying ginger and olive oil on the pain scale was 2.29 with a minimum pain scale value of 1, a maximum pain scale value of 1, a maximum pain scale value of 3, and a standard deviation of 0.687. It can be concluded that the results of statistical tests using Wilcoxon p value are less than a (a = 0.05), so this means that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Which means that rubbing ginger and olive oil is effective in reducing the pain scale of rheumatoid arthritis in the elderly. Reducing the scale of pain in rheumatoid arthritis sufferers in the elderly can use a mixture of ginger and olive oil as a non-pharmacological therapy. It is hoped that this alternative therapy can be used and made a reference for non-pharmacological treatment in the problem of rheumatoid arthritis pain in the elderly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leaflet media on sexually transmitted infections on the knowledge of class X students. The research method uses quantitative with this type of experimental research. The research population was 255 people. The sample size was 72 people. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The reasearch design uses a one group pre test post test design. Data collection uses a questionnaire. Statistical tests use the Wilcoxon Signed rank test. The results showed that the average value of knowledge about sexually transmitted infections before the intervention was 15,81 and the average value after the intervention was 26,72. The statistical test resulth with Wilcoxon obtained a p-value 0,000. From the results, it wasobtained a p-value < 0,1 means that Hₒis rejected and Hₗ is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of health aducation through the media leaflet about Sexually Transmitted Infections on the level of knowledge of class X students. The results of the study showed that there were differences in knowledge before and after conducting health education through leaflet media. After conducting health education through leaflet media, respondents had better knowledge. Because health educations is often carried out, information about sexually transmitted infections begins in class X students.
