Abstract

Agricultural extension workers have an important role in supporting agricultural development, with the main task of conveying information and providing technical guidance to farmers. Agricultural extension workers not only solve technical problems for farmers, but also function to support the social welfare of the community. This study aims to analyze the role of agricultural extension workers in controlling rat pests in rice farming in Tompong Patu Village, Kahu District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. Through a four-month internship and certified independent study program (MSIB), this activity involves identifying regional potential, counseling on rice cultivation and pest control. The research method uses quantitative data analysis with simple linear regression techniques and validity analysis using a Likert scale. The results of the study showed that the role of extension workers in providing socialization and guidance materials was very effective, with a validity level reaching 95.41%. Farmers also showed positive changes in their behavior towards controlling rat pests, with the same level of validity. This extension program succeeded in increasing farmers' knowledge and skills, and had a positive impact on agricultural productivity.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the drip irrigation system on tomato crops using qualitative data analysis methods. This research presents findings regarding efficient water use, increasing plant productivity, and disease control, related to the application of the drip irrigation system on tomato plants. The results of the research provide a positive picture regarding the effectiveness of this technology. Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR)-based flashcard learning media is the latest innovation that presents attractive 3D visual animations. This technology can make complex and abstract concepts easier to understand, triggering students' creativity, interest and curiosity in learning. Thus, this media can be an alternative solution in overcoming various learning problems. The purpose of this study is to test the validity of Augmented Reality-based flashcard learning media on cell material in class XI SMA, to ensure its effectiveness in improving student understanding. This research method uses a research and development approach with the ADDIE development model. The results showed that the assessment of the validity of Augmented Reality-based flashcard learning media by material experts included, 93% feasibility aspects, 86% presentation components, 92% language, and 90% AR media, with an average of 90% which included the category "Very Valid." Media experts assessed aspects of display design 70%, text design 76%, and Augmented Reality images 73%, with an average obtained of 74% or "Valid". The validity results obtained from material experts and media experts show an average percentage of 83% on each aspect assessed, which is included in the "Very Valid" category. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that Augmented Reality-based flashcard learning media is feasible to use to support the learning process.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that is one of the new innovations in learning by displaying images in 3D form which makes abstract concepts more real, such as students can observe cell models directly through Augmented Reality visualization. This research aims to test the validity of Augmented Reality-based learning modules in class XI SMA cell material. This type of development research or Research and Development (R&D) uses the ADDIE development model which is carried out up to the development stage, namely validity testing. The results of the validity test show that the Augmented Reality-based learning module on cell material obtained an average validity value of 94% by material experts and validation carried out by media experts showed an average of 75.38% which meets validity standards. Based on these results, this module was declared valid and suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tidak terdapatnya kegiatan praktikum disekolah sehingga metode metode pembelajaran kontekstual tidak dapat terlaksana. Tujuan penelitian ini mendesain praktikum yang sederhana dan biaya murah. Dari hasil wawancara berdasarkan empat perspektif yaitu Kegiatan praktikum, Pembelajaran Kontekstual, Materi daur ulang sampah organik, Keterampilan berpikir kritis didapatkan Dari kegiatan praktikum terdapat kendala dari sisi tenaga pengajar yaitu keterbatasan waktu, kurangnya pengalaman dan keterampilan, keterbatasan alat dan bahan, keterbatasan fasilitas laboratorium, dan biaya operasional. Sedangkan dari sisi siswa juga memiliki kendala seperti pengetahuan yang terbatas, abstraksi proses biologi, kesulitan membedakan jenis sampah, ketidaktahuan faktor yang mempengaruhi komposting dan pembelajaran yang terlalu teoritis. mengajukan rancangan praktikum dengan waktu yang tidak Panjang dan biaya yang murah namun pembelajaran kontekstual dan keterampilan kritis dapat tersalurkan kepada siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dan melalui beberapa tahap dalam setiap siklus yang digunakana yaitu: tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media Pembelajaran Quizizz Berbasis Kearifan lokal kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. Adapun pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan tes akhir siklus. Data yang dikumpul akan dianalisis dan dilengkapi dengan tabel frekuensi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ada siklus I menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa Biologi kelas X belum tuntas sebab siswa yang memperoleh nilai >75 hanya 22 orang atau 35% yang mencapai pada standar ketuntasan, sedangkan pada siklus II memperlihatkan bahwa ada terjadi peningkatan siswa yang memperoleh nilai >75 sebanyak 30 orang atau 89% dimana skor tertinggi mencapai 95 dan skor terendah mencapai 65. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yaitu 65 sedangkan pada silklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 82,6. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media Pembelajaran Quizizz Berbasis Kearifan lokal kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Makassar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Learning is very important for students to prepare a generation that is able to adapt and compete in the era of globalization. The learning concept needed by students in the current era of globalization is 21st century learning. 21st century learning aims to encourage students to have skills that support students to think responsively and be able to compete in the current era of globalization. In 21st century learning, students not only improve learning outcomes, but also the ability to understand and use scientific knowledge information in daily life. This ability is called science literacy. The purpose of this study is to determine the science literacy ability of students in class XI Phase F at SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat. The research conducted is a descriptive research, to analyze and describe the science literacy skills of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat which will be carried out in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 school year. The instrument used is a science literacy test instrument that has been validly used. The results of the study showed that the science literacy ability of class XI Phase F students at SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat was at a low standard.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the character values contained in the traditional Togo Pou dance of the Palue ethnic group and to examine the potential aspects of Science Education (IPA) that can be derived from the movements of the dance. Togo Pou is a traditional dance from the Palue ethnic group in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, which reflects the behavior patterns of the community through dance movements accompanied by gong and drum music. Each dance movement mirrors the meaning contained in the lyrics of the song, which invites the community to work together on tasks that cannot be done alone, such as building a boat. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The collected data is analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects of this research are the people of Dusun Lomite Bhako and traditional leaders who have a deep understanding of the meaning of the dance. The findings show that the Togo Pou dance contains character values such as religiosity, love for peace, social care, and friendliness and communication. The conclusion of this study is that this dance is not only a cultural heritage but also serves as a means to teach character values and Science Education, such as balance and coordination, which are beneficial in elementary school education.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research using a survey method which aims to determine the level of knowledge and attitudes about reproductive health of students at SMP Negeri 3 Malunda. The population in this study was Class IX of SMP Negeri 3 Malunda, sampling used the census method to obtain a sample size of 91 students. The research instrument used was questions about reproductive health, a total of 25 items and 25 questionnaire statements about attitudes. The research data was analyzed by calculating the average and percentage and then categorizing it. The research results show that the level of knowledge of Class IX students at SMP Negeri 3 Malunda is included in the interval category 71 to 86 with the description "good" out of 91 total students, while the reproductive health attitudes of Class IX students at SMP Negeri 3 Malunda are included in the interval category 71 to 85 with the description "good" out of 91 total students.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the P5 activities that have been implemented and the influence of P5 activities in minimizing bullying behavior at MTs DDI Mangempang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collected in this research consists of: a) primary data, namely information obtained directly from the original source through various data collection procedures and techniques, such as interviews, observation and documentation; b) secondary data, namely information obtained from indirect sources, which generally take the form of official documents or archives, journals or books. The implementation of P5 is one of the solutions implemented at MTs DDI Mangempang in order to prevent bullying behavior by providing understanding and knowledge about the meaning of bullying and functioning as a strong supporter in shaping student character and increasing self-confidence and courage in students
