Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of digital literacy implementation among students. The research method used is a survey method by distributing questionnaires online through the google form platform. Based on the results of research conducted on 31 female students of the ITS NU Pasuruan biology education study program class 22d-A, it was found that 74.2% or 23 of the 31 respondents used gadgets every day, while 19.4% or 6 of the 31 respondents used gadgets every day but rarely used gadgets. And the remaining 6.5% or 2 out of 31 only use gadgets several times a week. So it can be concluded that almost all biology education students in class 22d-A stated that they use gadgets every day, with a percentage of 74.2% or 23 out of 31 respondents. All 22d-A ITSNU Pasuruan biology education study program students have access and understanding of sophisticated technology, but not all of them have an interest or preference for digital literacy. The current learning process also utilizes technology according to current needs. It is imperative that individuals are able to improve their digital literacy skills. This is because digital technology is also very supportive of a person's process in developing themselves and seeking as much knowledge as possible without any time and space limitations.

Abstract

Citizenship Education is education that examines and discusses government, constitution, democratic institutions, rule of law, human rights, rights and obligations of citizens and the democratic process. Aims to form a better citizen (a good citizen) and prepare them for the future. The aims of this study were (1) to find out the perceptions of Wisnuwardhana University students towards the Citizenship Education course. (2) To find out students' learning interest in taking Citizenship Education courses which are low and often less desirable. (3) To find out the factors that cause and influence the low learning interest of students taking Citizenship Education courses. The approach and type of research used is qualitative. The results of the study were: (1) Perceptions of students at the Wisnuwardhana University of Malang on their interest in studying Citizenship Education courses. Citizenship Education is a very important and mandatory subject for all students from all faculties and study programs in hiding moral values. It is very important for the formation of individuals who have good character, are patriotic, love their homeland and have a strong sense of nationalism in accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Students participate enthusiastically. However, there are still students who have the perception that the Citizenship Education course is a subject that is often taught (at every level of education). The teaching material is generally the same, the material is too heavy and dominated by memorization. so that they have low motivation and enthusiasm in participating in Citizenship Education courses. (2) The interest of students in participating in Citizenship Education courses can be said to be quite good, this is shown by the students being very enthusiastic in participating.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Assholach is one of the institutions under the auspices of the Pondok Pesanten Assholach Kejeron Foundation. Madrasah Aliyah Assholach was born in 2006 and has successfully graduated most of its students for further studies to private universities and state universities. Madrasah Aliyah Assholach Kejeron Gondang Wetan is the most popular superior educational institution. The purpose of this observation is to find out information about the renewal of learning methods in biology subjects at Madrasah Aliyah Assholach. This research method uses qualitative methods by conducting direct field observations by interviewing one of the teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Assholach to get complete information about the renewal of biology learning methods carried out at Madrasah Aliyah Assholach Kejeron. The renewal of methods in biology subjects at Madrasah Aliyah Assholach is only carried out in class X because only class X uses an independent curriculum with additional physics and chemistry biology maps with the addition of this mapel it is hoped that there will also be additional science majors in the following year. The renewal of this learning method is done by utilizing existing media and learning in real terms not only students listen and the teacher explains.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative approach research that aims to identify and describe speech acts in student conversations in speech acts when learning Javanese. While the background in this study is that Javanese is known as a complicated language because it has various variations according to the level called the speech level. The level of speech in Javanese is a system to show the degree of formality, and the degree of respect the speaker has with the speech partner he is talking to. The data of this study are transcripts and conversations of students' speech acts originating from the selected respondents. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, listening techniques, recording techniques and note-taking techniques. Analysis of the data used in this study using heuristic methods. The analysis carried out in this research is to identify the types of speech acts, the forms of speech acts, speech acts and speech functions. Pragmatic analysis determines the intent of the speaker, whether expressed explicitly or implicitly, behind the speech. The results of the study concluded that in good learning in starting learning, conveying lessons and ending learning, several types of speech acts were found in Javanese subjects to improve the ability to speak words using Javanese. The speech acts include; (1) representative or assertive speech acts, (2) directive speech acts, (3) expressive speech acts, and (4) commissive speech acts. These four types of speech acts are always found when students speak words through the Javanese learning process and answer questions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the obstacles experienced by early semester students in writing scientific papers and solutions in dealing with these obstacles. This research was conducted in April 2023, at the Nahdlatul Ulama 'Pasuruan Institute of Technology and Science. The method used is descriptive skinative method with phenomenological approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and using research instruments in the form of questionnaires. The results showed several obstacles experienced by students in writing both in the form of internal and external obstacles as well as solutions to these obstacles.

Abstract

This research focuses on: 1) How is classroom management in the modernization era? 2) How to manage a class where there are many students who commit juvenile delinquency? 3) What factors occur in juvenile delinquency? With research objectives: 1) To find out classroom management in the modernization era. 2) To find out the management of classes where there are many students who commit juvenile delinquency. 3) To find out what factors occur in juvenile delinquency. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of research case study research (case study) and is descriptive. The source of the data in this research is the classrooms at MA As-Sholchah Warungdowo for the 2022-2023 academic year. This study used two data collection techniques, namely observation (observation) and teacher interviews. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that based on observations and teacher interviews, that class X IPS 2 students at MA As-Sholchah Warungdowo have many students who commit juvenile delinquency. The most dominant factor is external factors (school environment).

Abstract

Access via the internet to use Google classroom while they lack data packages and unaffordable signals and networks where they live and confusion to use features on Google classroom because it is the first time using. The method used is a qualitative research method with a field research approach and is analytically descriptive. The data collection techniques are using documentation, observation and data collection through questionnaires to several ITSNU Pasuruan semester 2 mathematics education study program students related to the use of Google Classroom in the lecture process. Google Classroom is very useful in the lecture process of ITSNU Pasuruan students. This platform makes it easier for lecturers and students to interact and collaborate online, increase student involvement in the learning process, facilitate the management of assignments and grades, and strengthen students' understanding of information technology. In addition, Google Classroom can also save students' time and transportation costs because they can access lecture materials without having to physically attend class. Therefore, Google Classroom is highly recommended as one of the virtual learning platforms that can help improve the quality of learning process in the future. In the management of online lecture learning, it should be done by involving the help of guidance to use the application at the beginning of the lecture and finding solutions for students whose residence is in remote areas due to the absence of signal which results in hampering online lectures.

Abstract

This paper contains the results of an analysis of the effect of online learning on the learning effectiveness of mathematics education students at ITS NU Pasuruan. The method used in this research is a survey conducted online. Data sources were obtained from the results of using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Respondents of this study were several students of mathematics education study program in semester 2 and 4. From the results of the analysis, several advantages were found as well as disadvantages in online learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe lexemes that refer to the activity of hurting hands in the Javanese language of Malangsuko village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency. The data in this paper are in the form of lexemes that refer to hand activities. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research using research methods (Introspective), self-dreaming and interviews. The steps taken are 1) describing the activity of hurting hands in the Javanese language of Malangsuko village 2) describing the meaning components of each lexeme 3) see the same components in each lexeme 4) create a differentiation matrix for each lexeme 5) describe the status of the semantic features in the matrix with the symbols -, 0, and +. 6) conclude with a diagram based on the meaning component analysis that has been carried out. The results of the research show that "hurting" hand activities in the Javanese dialect of Malangsuko village can be divided into two groups, namely based on the generic meaning component and the tools used and three subgroups, namely hand activities that hurt the neck, hand activities that hurt the head and its parts, and hand activities that hurt the neck. hands hurt the body. There are 4 lexemes for hand activities that hurt the neck, consisting of 1 lexeme for activities using tools and 3 lexemes for activities for hurting the neck without using tools. There are 16 lexemes for the activity of hurting the head and its parts, consisting of 2 lexemes for the activity of hurting the head and its parts using tools and 14 lexemes for the activity of hurting the head and its parts without using tools. There are 16 lexemes for body harming activities consisting of 8 lexemes for body harming activities using tools and 8 lexemes for hand activities hurting the head and its parts without using tools.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a wide variety of cultures and national wealth which must be used as one of the nation's identities which can bring about change in Indonesia culturally and openness in the attitude of society which encourages the progress of the nation, all because of the Indonesian philosophy called Pancasila. One of the typical dances of the people of Tohe Leten and Raihat subdistrict in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is the tebe dance. The Tebe dance is performed by men and women holding hands while singing in unison, chanting poetry and rhymes containing praise, criticism, or requests, while stomping their feet to the rhythm of the song. However, many of the younger generation of the Tohe Laten community cannot yet do the tebe dance and the meaning of each movement in the tebe dance. The purpose of this research is (1) to find out how the study of tebe dance in Tohe Leten village is conducted (2) to find out the Pancasila values ??contained in the meaning of tebe dance in Tohe Leten village (3) to find out how the community preserves tebe dance in Tohe village leten. Based on the research results, the cultural meaning of tebe dance in Tohe Leten village is the first study of tebe dance in Tohe Leten village, which is an expression of joy at success on the battlefield against the Dutch. Tebe dance is a dance that originates from Tohe Leten village, Raihat subdistrict, East Nusa Tenggara which was born around 1990. Meanwhile, the Pancasila values ??contained in the Pancasila cultural meaning are the values ??of leadership, human values, unity values, populist values??, and justice values. The community preserves this tebe dance by holding competitions and traditional events.
