Salah satu poin penting dalam menjalankan fungsi Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi oleh dosen adalah melaksanakan penelitian dan mempublikasikan hasil pemikiran serta analisisnya tersebut. Kinerja dosen yang selanjutnya menjadi kinerja jurusan, fakultas dan perguruan tinggi sangat dipengaruhi oleh seberapa luas dan berkualitasnya publikasi para dosen tetapnya. Tuntutan publikasi yang dilakukan komunitas akademik Perguruan Tinggi memberikan dampak yang cukup besar terhadap kesadaran para dosen pentingnya melakukan kajian, penelitian serta menulis karya ilmiah. Perkembangan karya ilmiah di Indonesia relatif makin baik, terutama sejak diberlakukannya regulasi pemerintah, yang mewajibkan mahasiswa S1, S2 hingga S3 untuk menulis artikel di jurnal ilmiah sebagai salah satu prasyarat kelulusan. Dosen tentunya semakin besar tuntutannya untuk aktif menulis di jurnal ilmiah baik di tingkat nasional terakreditasi maupun jurnal internasional bereputasi.

Abstract

The problem faced by the teacher was the problem of the low interest in student learning in Civics subjects in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban. This study aims to determine whether using the cooperative learning model of the bamboo dance type can improve student learning interest in Civics in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban in the 2017/2018 academic year. This type of research is "Classroom Action Research", using a cooperative learning model of the bamboo dance type. This study aims to determine that using the cooperative learning model of the bamboo dance type can improve student learning interest on the subject of Pancasila as the State Foundation in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban Academic Year 2017/2018. This study consisted of 2 cycles, cycle I and cycle II, each of which had 2 meetings. At each meeting the researcher carried out learning observations of students, to determine the level of student interest in learning. Based on the results of observations made by the author with Class VIII teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban which was conducted on 30 students, there were 24 students (80%) who had less interest in learning and 6 students (20%) who had sufficient interest. Then in the first cycle, it has an average value of 44 (55%), while in the second cycle it is 69 (87%). Based on the results of the research from the cycle I test with cycle II, there was a significant increase, thus it can be concluded that by applying the cooperative learning model of the bamboo dance type, it could improve student learning interest in Civics subjects, the subject of Pancasila as the State Foundation in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban Academic Year 2017/2018.

Abstract

 Abstract: Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan menulis teks teks Berita oleh siswa kelas VIII-1 di SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2018/2019. Adapun metode yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, peneliti menggunakan desain ini dimaksudkan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan teks Berita pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas VIII-1 SMP Negeri 7  Medan Tahun pembelajaran 2018/2019 ditemukan di lapangan atau tempat penelitian. Adapun yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-1 SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. sampel dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan seluruh populasi yakni populasi sebanyak 30 siswa karena seluruh populasi memungkinkan untuk diteliti.Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dalam bentuk essay. Tes dirancang yang ditunjukan kepada siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan bahwa kemampuan mengarang teks Berita oleh siswa kelas VIII-1 SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2018-2019 cukup baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil penelitian, yaitu siswa yang mendapat nilai 60 ke atas  sebanyak 23 orang atau 69 %, sedangkan siswa yang mendapat nilai kurang dari 60 sebanyak 7 orang atau 31%. Nilai rata-rata untuk tes kemampuan mengarang teks Berita adalah 66,7 nilai tertinggi yang didapat siswa untuk tes kemampuan mengarang teks Berita adalah 9 (Sembilan), nilai terendah yang didapat siswa untuk tes kemampuan mengarang teks Berita adalah 4 (Empat). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa siswa kelas VIII-1 SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2018-2019 dianggap mampu membuat karangan teks Berita   dengan baik

Abstract

The Education Planner has been regulated in a law that explains that the Quality of National Education will be measured through the achievement of all National Education Standards, including Content Standards, Processes, Graduation Competencies, Education and Education Personnel, Facilities and Infrastructure, Management, Financing and Assessment (PP RI) No. 19 of 2005 has been perfected with Government Regulation No. 32 of 2013). Serious and serious attention by the parties to the efforts to fulfill and realize all these standards will determine the quality/quality of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this school action research is to determine the application of interesting learning through group studies between teachers to improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 7 Medan. This research is in the form of School Action Research (PTS), which is a study which is a collaboration between researchers and teachers. The method used is a qualitative approach that is useful for revealing teacher difficulties in the discussion process and how to overcome these difficulties in an effort to improve teacher performance. The subjects in this study were teachers at SMP Negeri 7 Medan. The number of teachers at SMP Negeri 7 Medan is 53 teachers. Based on the research results obtained from 53 teachers of SMP Negeri 7 Medan who were the subjects in this study, the results in the first cycle were obtained 22 teachers (41.51%) who already had good performance. From the performance of cycle II that was obtained then returned to reduction and presented in a table form using the same formula as cycle I, it turns out that in the results of cycle II, 45 teachers (84.9%) had good performance, so it can be concluded that the application of group studies between teachers can improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 7 Medan.Keywords: Collaborative Educational Supervision, Teacher Performance.

Abstract

Problem solving is a deviation between what should have happened and something that actually happened, so the cause needs to be found and verified. Decision making is making an assessment and making choices. This decision was taken after going through several calculations and alternative considerations. Before the choice is made, there are several stages that the decision maker may go through. These stages may include identifying the main problem, compiling alternatives to be selected and arriving at the best decision making. Many who say problem solving is the most important activity a manager performs is an oversimplified picture. Abstract

Berdasarkan masalah belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 7 Medan khususnya pada mata pelajaran Seni Budaya maka peneliti bermaksud untuk melaksanakan penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dengan penerapan strategi pembelajaran holistik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran Seni Budaya pokok bahasan seni patung terapakan daerah setempat di Kelas IX-1 SMP Negeri 7 Medan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran holistik dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya pada pokok bahasan seni patung terapan daerah setempat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas IX-1 SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 yang terdiri dari 32 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian ini  ditemukan beberapa hal-hal yang mengalami peningkatan yaitu: sebelum pemberian tindakan, siswa diberikan tes awal pilihan berganda diperoleh kemampuan siswa sebanyak 5 orang dengan ketuntasan belajar 15,62%, dengan rata-rata kelas 45,31. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa siswa pada saat menjawab soal masih rendah. Setelah pemberian tindakan pada saat postes siklus I, diperoleh basil belajar dari 32 siswa terdapat 14 siswa yang tuntas atau sebesar 43,59%, dengan rata-rata kelas 58,43, terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan belajar pada tes awal dan postes I sebesar 27,97%, dan pada siklus I juga belum diperoleh ketuntasan basil belajar secara individu dan klasikal yang maksimal, maka melanjutkan ke siklus II dan diperoleh ketuntasan belajar yaitu dari 32 siswa terdapat 29 orang yang tuntas belajar atau 90,62%, dan rata-rata 79,06, pada siklus ke II ini siswa sudah tuntas untuk memperoleh hasil belajar yang baik maka penelitian ini sampai di sini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dikumpulkan maka dapat disimpulkan Bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran holistik untuk meningkatkan basil belajar siswa khususnya seni patung terapan daerah setempat di SMP Negeri 7 Medan dapat diterima. Kata Kunci : Metode Holistik, Hasil Belajar, Seni Patung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' writing skills in basic competency in converting interview texts into narrative texts using the TPS (Think Pair Share) learning model in Indonesian Language Lessons in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Muara Siatas Barita. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The object of research in this CAR is the enthusiasm of students in learning activities, pronunciation of language sounds, accuracy of intonation, choice of words, composing sentences, calmness, politeness, cohesiveness, and conversation topics. The research subjects were 32 students. The data collection tools used were observations made on students. Based on the observations of the research results, the percentage of students' writing skills increased from 32 students, there were 24.4% of students who had excellent writing skills, 61% of students who had good writing skills, and 14 , 6 students with sufficient writing skill level. The percentage of the students' writing ability completeness level of 32 students in the first cycle of meeting I reached 24.4% of students who completed and 75.6% of students did not complete. In the first cycle of the second meeting there were 41.5% students who completed and 58.5% students who did not complete. In the second cycle of the first meeting there were 58.5% of students who completed and 41.5% of students who did not complete while in the second cycle the second meeting increased to 100% or 32 students who completed. Thus using the TPS (Think Pair Share) learning model ) can improve students 'writing skills in basic competency in changing the interview text into students' narrative text.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan  hasil  belajar  siswa  pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sistem pernapasan setelah diterapkannya strategi pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchange kelas VIII-5 SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah dengan menerapkan sterategi pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchange dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa pada materi sistem pernapasan kelas VIII-5 SMP Negeri 7 Medan.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), untuk lebih jelas, berikut gambar pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas. Dalam pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas ini terlebih dahulu diawali dengan penelitian survey atau deskriptif. Adapun metode yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I diperoleh jumlah siswa sebanyak 28 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan klasikal (93.33%). Meskipun telah mencapai tingkat ketuntasan klasikal penelitian akan dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Pada siklus II diperoleh jumlah siswa sebanyak 26 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan klasikal (86.67%). Pada siklus III diperoleh jumlah siswa sebanyak 29 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan  klasikal (96.67%).  Karena tingkat ketuntasan klasikal telah ditetapkan sudah memuaskan, maka siklus pembelajaran ini dihentikan. Berdasarkan hasil belajar yang diperoleh terlihat bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran rotating trio exchange dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan hasil belajar siswa. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran rotating trio exchange sangat cocok diterapkan pada siswa/siswi SMP  Negeri 7 Medan.

Abstract

The implementation of the curriculum is an effort or application of a curriculum that has been designed or designed. In implementing the 2013 curriculum learning PKN subjects, teachers are required to understand the characteristics, concepts, learning objectives, implementation strategies, basic competency maps, core competencies, determining topics, and elaborating basic competencies into indicators that must be achieved by students. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the discussion showed that the impact of the 19th pandemic on the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in PKN subjects greatly affected teachers and students. The teacher becomes more difficult in formulating learning activities. Apart from the 2013 curriculum they are still not too well mastered and added to the conditions of distance learning that encounter many obstacles
