Salah satu poin penting dalam menjalankan fungsi Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi oleh dosen adalah melaksanakan penelitian dan mempublikasikan hasil pemikiran serta analisisnya tersebut. Kinerja dosen yang selanjutnya menjadi kinerja jurusan, fakultas dan perguruan tinggi sangat dipengaruhi oleh seberapa luas dan berkualitasnya publikasi para dosen tetapnya. Tuntutan publikasi yang dilakukan komunitas akademik Perguruan Tinggi memberikan dampak yang cukup besar terhadap kesadaran para dosen pentingnya melakukan kajian, penelitian serta menulis karya ilmiah. Perkembangan karya ilmiah di Indonesia relatif makin baik, terutama sejak diberlakukannya regulasi pemerintah, yang mewajibkan mahasiswa S1, S2 hingga S3 untuk menulis artikel di jurnal ilmiah sebagai salah satu prasyarat kelulusan. Dosen tentunya semakin besar tuntutannya untuk aktif menulis di jurnal ilmiah baik di tingkat nasional terakreditasi maupun jurnal internasional bereputasi.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this journal is to explain the behavior patterns of young generations of high education that are problematic in society. The young generation is highly educated in the Novel "Angkatan Baru" by Hamka to tell the young generation of higher education but is unacquainted with the hard work and reluctantly devoting themselves to high paying. Science only becomes jewellery for him, not used for benefits and for many people. Younger generations are good at reading books, but are not good at reading people. The writing in this journal uses qualitative Enelitian using a descriptive method. Because it described the depiction of the young generation or youth in the Novel of the Buya Hamka "Angkatan Baru". This method was chosen to assess the growing problems in life especially for young generations after attending higher education in college. The data source used is the Novel "Angkatan Baru" by Hamka.

Abstract

Management sumber daya manusia adalah management yang palingkomplit bila dibandingkan management sumber daya yang lain.Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia Berbasis Kompetensi dilakukan dalamrangka mencapai kinerja dan hasil yang maksimal yang relevan dengantujuan yang telah ditetapkan organisasi/perusahaan. Dalam rangkamencapai kinerja yang maksimal, suatu organisasi perlu membangunkompetensi para pegawainya. Abstract

The background of this research is issues in education sector, where values of character education were not poorly highlighted because of tendency toward academic or cognitive concerns. Education currently is more pursuing student’s graduation target. This research is purposed to develop values of character education that contained in Ahmad Fuadi novel “Rantau Satu Muara”. This research is qualitative with descriptive analysis method. This research is also using sociology literature approach. Data were collected by researcher where data was recorded and analyzed during periode of research to collect data from novel’s text, then it processed and further analyzed in detailed. Results of this research are values of character education in “Rantau Satu Muara” novel by Ahmad Fuadi which are contain values of character education there are religious, hard-driving, nationality, communicative/friendly, reading interest, and responsibility.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui perencanaan PengembanganMadrasah di MAS Teladan Ujung Kubu Kecamatan Tanjung TiramKabupaten Batu Bara. Peneitian ini dilakukan di Madrasah di MASTeladan Ujung Kubu Kecamatan Tanjung Tiram Kabupaten Batu Bara.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif.Temuan Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa Perencanaanpengembangan madrasah di MAS Teladan Ujung Kubu Kecamtan TnjungTiram Kabupaten Batu Bara untuk menuju madrasah yang unggul yaitu:dimulai dari perbaikan proses belajar mengajar, selanjutnya benahi sistempenerimaan peserta didik baru (input), guru harus profesional danberkompeten, tersedianya sarana prasarana sebagai pendukung,management berwawasan global dan progresif serta pandangan jauh kedepan, ekstra kurikuler sebagai ajang apresiasi potensi diri anggaran yangcukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan.

Abstract

The outcome assessment approach emphasizes the evaluation of graduates of educational organizations through student achievement, gradiation and employment. The open approach is an integrated quality assurance system in educational organizations and approaches that emphasize input, process and output. Improving the quality of education also considers the need to fulfill national quality standards. The Content Standards at STT Sinar Husni Medan in general have been well met, this shows STT Sinar Husni Medan always improve the quality of education in a sustainable manner based on the principles of Integrated Education Quality Management. The Targets and Strategies of Achievement of the Sinar Husni Informatics Engineering Study Program until 2020. To get better accreditation scores than before. This can of course be achieved through updating the learning competencies of each course and also supported by practical activities in the field, which adjusted to the needs of stakeholders. Thus each alumni does not need to wait too long to get a job.

Abstract

The value of intelligence is related to critical, logical, creative thinking.  Social values are related to rights and obligations, a sense of responsibility, and an attitude of tolerance.  Religious values related to the spiritual, world and hereafter affairs, lead humans to behave in a moral, virtuous, and be in the way of God.  The value of independence is related to making decisions, self-confidence, being responsible for what is done.  The value of patience is related to not being irritable, not being hopeless, not being heartbroken, and being calm in the face of trials.  The results of General Soedirman's Film study can be used as an alternative teaching material in learning biographical text material at the high school level because there is conformity with the Basic Competencies (KD) "15.1 Reveal interesting things and can be emulated from the characters".  This is seen from the ability of students who can express interesting things and can be emulated from figures from the biography of General Sudirman and able to determine the didactic values contained in the film General Sudirman.  So it can be concluded that the film General Soedirman can be used as an alternative teaching material in biographical text material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the educational values used by the author in the novel The Dreamers. This research is in the form of descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded: in the novel The Dreamer Andrea Hirata wants to convey educational values that are very useful for readers by living the contents of the story in them, so that they can become more lively and add variety and avoid monotonous things that can make bored reader. Educational values contained in the novel The dreamers, based on the results of the analysis consists of four values. The values of education are: (a) the value of religious education is the point of view that binds man and God the creator of nature and everything, in the novels of the Dreamer, (b) the value of moral education, a value that is a measure of whether or not humans should socialize in social life , in the novel The Dreamers, (c) the value of social education is an awareness and emotion that is relatively sustainable towards an object, idea, or person, in the novel The dreamers

Abstract

Film is one of a mass communication media to deliver message easily and quickly to public through the audio-visual. In Indonesia, there are many films that raise the issue of social life within Indonesian society into big screen to provide information, entertainments, and education. A Film is derived from the work of scriptwriter or director, but it can also come from a book. The story of a book can be visualized into a film that contains adaptation of scenarios.The film which based on the true story and adapted to be retold certainly have an adjustment that will affect the narrative as a film-forming elements which relates with aspect of the story, characters, problems, times, locations, etc. One of the film that adapted from a book is the Sokola Rimba film based on the true story of Butet Manurung, a young women who fight to provides education for the isloated children in Bukit Dua Belas forest, Jambi.

Abstract

Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa dalam tahapanperencanaan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, yaitu: (1) Menganalisiskeadaan dan ketersediaan tenaga sumber daya manusia. (2) Membuat danmembuka proses rekrutmen. (3) Mengadakan seleksi. (4) Penempatanposisi tenaga sumber daya manusia, serta kriteria tenaga pendidik dankependidikan yaitu: (1) Tenaga kependidikan, kriterianya: memahamitugas dan tanggung jawabnya; mampu memberikan program untukmengembangkan sekolah. (2) Tenaga pendidik fullday school, kriteria:mampu berkomunikasi, mengajar, menyusun rancangan administrasipembelajaran, memahami dan mahir dalam mata pelajaran yangmenggunakan bahasa inggris. dan (3) Tenaga pendidik reguler, kriteria:mampu berbahasa inggris; kecakapan dalam berkomunikasi, mampumemahami dan mahir dalam setiap mata pelajaran yang diampu.
