Penerbit FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya. Frekuensi terbitan 6 bulanan atau 2 kali dalam setahun. Tingang adalah sejenis burung khas Kalimantan Tengah (Borneo). Gambar burung tingang terdapat pada logo Universitas Palangka Raya. Burung Tingang (enggang) melambangkan pencarian/penelitian ilmu dalam kebebasan, kedekatan dengan alam dan lingkungan. Kanderang adalah suara keras dari burung tingang. Jurnal Ilmiah Kanderang Tingang merupakan sarana untuk menyuarakan hasil pencarian/penelitian ilmu pendidikan. Jurnal Ilmiah Kanderang Tingang memuat artikel hasil kajian dan penelitian pendidikan mengenai kurikulum, pendidik dan perbuatan mendidik/mengajar, peserta didik dan perbuatan belajar, lingkungan pendidikan, penilaian dan evaluasi pendidikan, khususnya bidang pendidikan kimia. Abstract

Distance learning is carried aut in order to prevent the spread and transmission of COVID-19 in the educational unit environment. The Ministry of Education and Culture has taken a policy to close schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. To overcome distance learning problems, teachers must prepare a distance learning implementation plan using digital learning media. This study aims to desribse the ability of class X MIPA students of SMA Negeri 5 Palangka Raya in understanding the concept of chemical reaction equations using digital learning media. The research method used is descriptive method with research subjects 136 students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Palangka Raya in the academic year 2020/2021. The instrument use a multiple choice written test with four answer choices and interviews. The average percentage of students’ ability to understand the concept of chemical reaction equations in indicator (1) explaining the meaning of chemical reaction equation is 62,5%; (2) determine the chemical reaction equation of the reacting substances 68,87%; (3) determine the appropriate reaction coefficient to balance the chemical reaction equation 75%; (4) determine the correct chemical compound and reaction coefficient to complete the chemical reaction equation 71,8 %.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes and student achievement in the subject of Catholicism, namely in the subject of Jesus the Prayer using the discussion method at SMPN-9 Palangka Raya. This study used a Classroom Action Research (PTK) design. The subjects of this study were 10 students in class VII, class VIII, and class IX, at SMPN-9 Palangka Raya, academic year 2021/2022. This research instrument consists of two types, namely through observation of student and teacher activities, and tests of student learning outcomes. Assessment through a written test in the form of an essay, a total of 6 questions written test in the form of fields, a total of 5 questions, and a written test in the form of multiple choice, a total of 10 questions. Based on data on student achievement results, SMPN -9 Palangka Raya in the 2021/2022 Academic Year for the Catholic Religion subject, out of a total of 10 students consisting of 2 students in class VII, 5 students in class VIII, 3 students in class IX , based on the results of learning achievement in the initial test as many as 9 people still did not reach the Maximum Completeness Criteria, only 1 person who completed the average value of 55.5 or 10%, who completed classically, while in the action in cycle I, the average value 69 students who finished studying in cycle 1, totaling 7 students out of 10 students, classically the learning completeness has reached 70% of the number of students. Cycle II the average value of students is 72.5. There are 8 students who complete, classically it reaches 80% of 10 students and there are two students who have not finished. The results of student achievement in the final test with an average score of 85, or 100% of the 10 students who took the test, and from the results of learning achievement, it was concluded that the learning method used by the teacher in delivering learning material, was able to improve student achievement.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to describe the quality of the End of Semester Assessment (PAS) questions for chemistry subjects in class X odd semester of SMK throughout the city of Palangka Raya for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. This research included descriptive research, with researchon questions and student answer sheets at odd end-of-semester assessments. The data collection technique of this study is the documentation method. Data analysis techniques use the help of the SPSS version 26 program. The results showed that the results of the logical review analysis obtained a good level of conformity of questions with basic competencies with a percentage of 21.90%. The suitability of the questions reviewed from the material aspect with a percentage of 93.88%, from the construction aspect the percentage of conformity of the questions was 90.81%, from the aspect of language the suitability of the questions obtained a percentage of 100%. The quality of the PAS question qualitatively (empirical review) shows that: the results of the analysis of the validity of the items about the P-Value Index 0.34 criteria are sufficient (20%-60%), the results of the analysis of the average reliability of the questions are the Cron'bach alpha r11 value< 0.70, namely at a value of 0.494 with sufficient criteria, the results of the analysis of the differentiating power of the questions are accepted (19%), the questions are rejected (26%), the questions are corrected (35%), and the questions are good (20%). Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of the difficulty level of questions with easy criteria (15.83%), questions with medium criteria (40.08%), and questions with difficult criteria (42.92%) and the results of the analysis of extractivity of the distractor (deceiving) quality of the category questions were very good with an average percentage of 81.38%.

Abstract

Clean water or drinking water is one of the supporting materials for the survival of living things, especially humans, which should be free from heavy metal contamination and pose no risk to health. In an effort to reduce heavy metal levels in improving water quality through simple techniques and based on natural ingredients, the authors use jackfruit skin and natural zeolite as adsorbents. The purpose of this study was to determine the adsorption capacity of activated carbon from jackfruit skin combined with natural zeolite in reducing the concentration of iron (Fe) and nickel (Ni). The research was conducted on a laboratory scale using the method of varying the concentration of activated carbon which was analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). The optimum adsorption power in reducing the concentration of Fe metal occurs in the x:y composition with the adsorbed concentration (mass of analyte) of 0.4083 ppm (0.1021 mg) for 60 minutes. Meanwhile, Ni metal was found in a combination of 2x:y composition dyes with the adsorbed concentration (mass of analyte) of 0.6017 ppm (0.1504 mg). The adsorption capacity of the adsorbent generally decreased with increasing mass of the dye packaged activated carbon adsorbent both in the analysis of Fe and Ni metal content.

Abstract

The aims of the research are (1) to describe the structure of the pantun in Anwarsani's work identified based on elements such as lines, arrays, rhymes, and stanzas. (2) Describe the style of language used by Anwarsani in his rhymes. (3) Describe the ecological messages contained in Anwarsani's poems of advice, and how the meanings related to concern for the environment, nature conservation, and the importance of maintaining ecosystem harmony are interpreted. This study uses a qualitative approach to describe the structure of the pantun, language style, ecological messages, and eco-poetic significance in Anwarsani's work. This approach allows researchers to understand in depth the characteristics and meaning contained in the rhymes. The research data is in the form of Anwarsani's poems of advice which are analyzed using the text analysis method. Through reading and identifying pantun structures, observing language styles, and extracting ecological messages, researchers can gain a comprehensive understanding of the elements studied.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to assess the feasibility of biology teaching materials (learning modules) in the Scientific Method material for class X SMA This study uses a quasi-experimental method. The research design uses a one group pretest-posttest design. Test the effectiveness of the module using a one group pretest-posttest design only which involves 54 students of class X MIPA class of 2022/2023. Observations made at Pangkalan Bun 2 Public High School in biology subjects, it was found that the scientific method material contained misconceptions so researchers needed to develop teaching materials related to the scientific method. The feasibility of the material in teaching materials (learning modules) is evaluated at three stages of development, namely initial investigation, curriculum analysis, concept analysis, and at the same time this research also ensures the feasibility of the modules that have been developed. The results of the pretest and posttest analysis given to the treatment class showed an increase in the completeness score of 66.67%. The class given the implementation of the scientific method module experienced an increase in value from 11.11% to 77.78%. Data analysis using N- Gain shows the class where the scientific method module is implemented shows an N-Gain score of 0.32 which indicates a medium category n-Gain value, even though the N-Gain effectiveness category obtained shows a percentage of 52.56% indicating less effective . This shows that the biology module material for scientific method is quite feasible to use.

Abstract

Interactive digital media based on android application eLEMA (Electronic Learning Material) is the implementation of distance education through online internet networks, a solution for effective teaching and learning activities (KBM). Supporting Ecosystem Material, especially Peat Swamp Forest Ecosystems, which are still minimal. Development research using the Research and Development (R&D) model of Hannafin and Peck consists of 3 phases Analysis, Design, Develop/Implementation. The results of eLEMA-based digital teaching materials research produce products in the form of RPS, teaching materials, material supplements and LKM have fulfilled the components as learning devices and can be used in the learning process. Based on the results of validation from material experts, media experts and student responses with good criteria and feasible to use. The eLEMA application makes it easy for students to access materials online and offline

Abstract

This research is to reveal the conception of learning in a psychological and Islamic perspective, learning is a process activity and is a very fundamental element in every type and level of education organizing activity. This means that the success or failure of achieving educational goals is very dependent on the learning process experienced by students, both when they are at school or in their own home or family environment. Learning theory is a pragmatic and eclectic theory. A theory with this nature is almost certainly never extreme. There is no learning theory that pays extreme attention to students only, teachers only, curriculum only, and so on. This research approach is through qualitative methods using library data without statistical data as in the quantitative method, so that its activities are often referred to as library research. In general, the results of this study prove that the cognitive view sees learning as something active. They take the initiative to find experience to learn, seek information to solve problems, rearrange and organize what already exists, whereas in an Islamic perspective, learning is an obligation for every Muslim in order to acquire knowledge and knowledge so that the level of his life increases. This is stated in the Qur'an surah al-Mujadilah verse 11 Allah will exalt those who believe among you and those who are given knowledge of several degrees. Science in this case is of course in the form of knowledge that is relevant to the demands of the times and is beneficial to human life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, utilization, and maintenance of instructional media in SDN 2 Samba bakumpai. The research is a qualitative research design with phenomenology. Sources in the research is the principal and teachers at SDN 2 Samba bakumpai. Data collection technique were interview, observation and documentation. Analysis of data using an interactive model. This study has three outcomes. (1) Planning the learning media is an inventory of types of instructional media, merelevansikan media teaching materials, confirming media with other teachers or friends of the group, preparing a book support package from the government, and pour the planned use of the media in the learning device; (2) The use of instructional media is able to show a medium of learning makes the students more easily understand the teaching materials, instructional media were able to show increasing curiosity about the new sciences, capable of showing the learning media help teachers explain the learning material, and be able to demonstrate learning media reduces verbal learning theory; (3) Maintenance of instructional media is keeping the medium of learning material or objects in special cabinets, learning media in the form of a file stored on the computer, non-academic learning media such as marching band and tambourine are stored in a special room, and the media is damaged beyond repair maintenance direct teachers or experts .

Abstract

The chicken roaster has a function for roasting, by utilizing air for cooking it is considered more energy efficient than using charcoal completely. In the process, the charcoal used has weaknesses, such as the smoke produced and the preparation time is quite long. In addition, the food also becomes less hygienic and easy to burn. To overcome this, through community service activities, it is realized by making grills that are faster and easier by utilizing used waste. In the design, analysis is carried out to find out how far the usefulness of the tool according to the user. From the results of the questionnaire obtained three variables, namely the safety features of the tool and the ease of following the instructions for use which have a high index of 97%. For the next variable followed by tool design and color composition by 94%.
