Abstract

This research aims to understand and interpret the financial management of farming business groups. The research was conducted at one of the farming business groups in Central Kalimantan Province. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The results of the research show that the Citra Borneo Lestari Farmers Group has not carried out proper financial planning or recording. Income from agricultural products relies on the farmer's ability to save when the farming cycle is good and then spend it when the farming cycle declines. Because farmers do not plan, financial goals often cannot be achieved. The recommendation from the results of this research is that the Citra Borneo Lestari farmer group should increase their knowledge and financial management of farming through training and financial guidance so that they are trained and skilled in financial management.

Abstract

In the world of children, physical activities are a vital key to their development, and play becomes a crucial aspect in this process. Utilizing play equipment, children's learning and interaction can be facilitated. Through the Community Engagement initiative conducted by the Mechanical Engineering Education at Bakuwu Kindergarten, Universitas Palangka Raya (UPR), innovative principles are integrated into the creation of children's play equipment. The primary objective of this initiative is to gain insights from both teachers and parents regarding the produced play equipment. The research methodology employs a mixed-methods design, incorporating Pareto analysis. The results reveal that maintenance and upkeep of the play equipment constitute a predominant issue, contributing to 34% of the overall problems. It can be concluded that the maintenance of play equipment is a critical element in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of activities. Sustained development and improvement have long-term benefits for children, educators, and the community. Recommendations for enhancement encompass heightened awareness, regular maintenance, and the implementation of continuous improvement cycles, aligning with the Pareto analysis principles that emphasize addressing the most significant issues for optimal outcomes.

Abstract

Formal education in Indonesia starts from elementary school level. In elementary school, students experience development in the personal-social (personal-social development), academic (academic development) and career (career development) aspects, so that they become a generation of a nation that is independent and actively develops its potential, has religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by himself, society, nation and state. The development of elementary school students, apart from their families, is influenced by the school/educational environment. For example, elementary school students are very obedient to what their teachers say, because elementary school teachers, for them, are figures they "look up to and imitate". A professional teaching model can have a positive effect on children's development. However, there are quite a few elementary school teachers who have negative effects, such as when teaching and learning activities are fierce/like to punish if students answer incorrectly, impose their will, don't care about students' needs, feel they know best and so on. This example of an unprofessional elementary school teacher model will certainly hinder student indigenousization so that student potential does not develop optimally. In relation to student indigenousization, there is a need for teachers who can be used as "models with character" (Bandura's theory) who can provide educational learning and motivate elementary school children to develop their indigenousization. The character model in question is a teacher who has competence as an educator, namely pedagogical, personal, social and professional competence.

Abstract

Student teacher candidates (chemistry) must have adequate Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) competence, because TPACK is in the realm of the four main competencies of a teacher which include pedagogical competence, personality competence, social competence and professional competence which are useful in implementing learning. This study aims to explore the TPACK of prospective chemistry teachers. TPACK is a framework that tries to understand the relationship between lesson material (Content), knowledge about teaching (pedagogical knowledge), and the use of technology (technological knowledge). In TPACK, prospective teacher students' knowledge of integrating technology in learning makes classroom activities effective and efficient. Technology integration is considered a closely related teaching component and is also included in PCK. This research used a cross-sectional survey method with 36 chemistry education students who had carried out PPL as participants. The research results indicate that several prospective chemistry teacher students have sufficient TPACK competency. However, the use of technology, mastery of material, and pedagogical skills still need to be improved in order to produce professional teachers.

Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between the delivery of the message to the recipient via the media messenger. Lessons take place effectively and efficiently will result in maximum learning results. Factors that affect learning outcomes are individual factors include the physical and spiritual conditions of students, and students of environmental conditions around, social and non-social, as well as the factor of learning approach. Factor approach to learning was an attempt by both teachers and students that includes strategies and methods in the learning process. Based on the observation of the learning process at SMK 5 of Padang found more teachers dominate the classroom, so that active students in the classroom is not visible. Low student learning outcomes SMK 5 of Padang caused by various factors. One of these students are less actively involved in the learning process. Statics studies more are understanding the concepts and formulas, requires an understanding of older students with exercises that much. By using the expository method, the dominance of teachers more reduced. Guided Note Taking is studies active students who can assist in the learning process so that students can be independent in understanding and being able to build his own knowledge. This study aims to determine differences in the results of class X student TGB1-A SMK 5 of Padang after the application of the expository method using Guided Note Taking a class X TKB-A which uses conventional learning. This research uses research Quasi-Experimental (quasi-experiment). This type of research design Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Pre-test conducted before implementing learning to know the students' prior knowledge. After application of the expository method using a guided note taking increased learning outcomes in the experimental group compared with the control group.

Abstract

This research aims to support government programs in order to strengthen the principle of independent learning as an effort to increase the profile of Pancasila students through school laboratories. The optimal implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile must be supported by serious facilities and implementation as well as the support of all parties involved in it. One of the practicum activities can add to the learning experience, where students directly interact with various tools and materials to observe all the accompanying symptoms. Practicum can also be said to be an educational method for learning and practicing all activities in the practicum process in the laboratory, not only involving practical tools and materials, but also must be equipped with supporting facilities so that the practicum can run well and safely. Based on this, we provide books that can be used as basic guidelines and guides for students to carry out practical work in the laboratory. This activity is seen as having implications for character building or individual resilience of students or students. The Pancasila Student Profile has the main goal of maintaining the noble values and morals of the nation, readiness to become a world citizen, realizing social justice, and achieving 21st Century competence. In our daily spirit and attitude in the community or profession, we must have a Pancasila student profile. Students defined here are superior human resources who are lifelong students who have global competence and behave in accordance with Pancasila values. The results of this research show that the implementation of the Pancasila student profile in schools is still less than optimal and the implications for the formation of student character are very strong. So if the Pancasila student profile is optimized in its implementation at school, a Pancasila student character will be formed. A good teacher is a teacher who performs well, but only in the classroom. They are able to improve their students' achievements, teach creatively and innovatively, and develop their own competencies. Meanwhile, the role of the Driving Teacher is not only limited to success in managing the class they teach. Apart from being a good teacher, a Driving Teacher must also have the will to lead, innovate, make changes. On this basis, Kejarcita exists to support teachers to become professional driving teachers.
