Abstract

Efforts to develop an attiude of nationalism in students within the multicultural life of the Indonesian people is not easy. There should be a strategic move. Integration curriculum between History, Civics, and Religion are needed. The values of teaching history contained within historical events can evoke nationalism. An understanding of Pancasila through Civics curricuum as a guide to behave in society, nation, and state can strengthen the love of the nation. An understanding of religious values can be the basis of the rule of truth, preserving the integrity of the state or nation and nationalism. Students' appreciation of the history of learning, understanding of Pancasila and religious values can improve the attitude of nationalism.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS dengan menggunakan media peta konsep melalui Metode Bermain Peran pada siswa SMP. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 2 Trowulan yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Setiap tahap dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan partisipatif dan kolaboratif antar sesama guru Mapel IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus pertama dan siklus kedua. Berdasarkan analisis hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dan sesuai dengan hasil yang diharapkan dalam tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how interconnection practices in management, policy, planning and leadership studies are focused on quality management practices set out in the SPMI at the Universitas Pasifik Morotai (UNIPAS) Quality Assurance Institute (LPM). The research method used in this study is qualitative research. Data needed in this study are primary data and secondary data. The primary data source is the Chairperson of the Universitas Pasifik Morotai (UNIPAS) Quality Assurance Institute as Quality Control and Supervision at the Universitas Pasifik Morotai (UNIPAS). Quality documents as secondary data sources. Quality Assurance, is a proof of Universitas Pasifik Morotai’s commitment to develop a quality culture. The SPMI policy is a written documentation containing an outline of an explanation for understanding, designing, and implementing SPMI in the administration of higher education services to the community so that quality culture is realized. The quality management process at the Universitas Pasifik Morotai (UNIPAS) shows that the four elements of the interconnection of management studies, policy, leadership and planning have a very strong link in the administration of higher education activities at the Universitas Pasifik Morotai (UNIPAS).

Abstract

Self-efficacy is the confidence that owned by someone, it able to organize and take action to solve problems and addressing the changes properly. Individuals who have high self efficacy would be able to judge their self, and this will affect the degree of resistance to a task that must be carried out. In the world of education, teachers who have self-efficacy will have strong beliefs, feel comfortable with their self, and be able to control their emotions. That things will make the teachers were able to set up conditions in the classroom properly, able to choose and use appropriate learning strategies, and able to motivate students. Self-efficacy can be developed through Performance experience, vicarious experience, verbal persuasion, and psychological state. Self-efficacy can be forged in early learning, so for the teachers the first years is the most decisive. The Teaching Planning Program or Program Perencanaan Pengajaran (P3) courses, is the beginning of students to teaching and learning at the front of the class, so applying the self efficacy on history education students is the right thing.

Abstract

Based on the observations of the students of class VIII SMPN 2 Ra'as a picture that this class is a class that is passive. The indicator is the lack of participation of students in participating subjects. Students tend to be quiet, the courage to ask and answer the question too less. So that the process of learning seem less showed significant activity. Such conditions clearly resulted in student achievement in social studies. Evident from the average value of daily tests, only 13 out of 24 students or 54.17% stated achieve KKM. The purpose of this study was to find out the increase learning outcomes through the use of IPS jigsaw cooperative learning techniques in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Ra'as the academic year 2015 / 2016. Data collection for student activities conducted by observation, and to the results of study conducted by retrieving data of the results of daily tests. Data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded: The results of students in the learning process material IPS Events Around Proclamation and process of formation of the Homeland with cooperative learning methods Jigsaw model increased 12.5%, from 79.17% (complete classical) in cycle I became 91.67% (complete classical) in the second cycle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS melalui metode Permainan Pasang Pohon Berbuah.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas di kelas VII A SMPN 2 Menganti Gresik yang dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Siklus1, 2 , dan 3 masing-masing terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Setiap siklus meliputi tahapan planning (rencana), action (tindakan), observation (pengamatan), dan reflection (refleksi). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa : 1) soal tes formatif ; 2) lembar observasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Permainan Pasang Pohon Berbuah terbukti dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS pada bab”Kerajaan Islam di Indonesia”.

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is to know the students' learning mastery. This study is limited to the subjects of history. The subjects of the study were students of Class X IPS-1 SMA Negeri 1, Kota Mojokerto semester of the academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 36 students. This research is a class action research (action research). The learning tools used in this study include syllabus and lesson plans. The research instrument consists of observation / observation sheet of student and teacher activity and student response questionnaire. The result of the research shows that learning with Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) strategies  is quite effective which is marked by the increase of the percentage of students' learning result completion by classical from 70.56% (round 1), 75.53% (round 2) and 86.67% (round 3).

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the role of Kyai leadership in the development of cooperative organizations at pesantren therefore the contributions of Kyai can be seen on economic institute in pesantren. This study used a case study design with models of multisite study at two pesantren in Sidogiri Pasuruan and Minhajut Thullab Banyuwangi. The units of analysis of this study weic are Kyai, Teacher or Ustadz, the pesantren cooperative, students, the community around the pesantrens and members of the pesantren cooperative. Methods of data collection were indepth interviews, observation and analysis of the contents of the documentation. This study used qualitative design with a model of multisite case study technique. The data analysis and testing the validity of the data using the technique of triangulation, the source triangulation, methods triangulation and time triangulation. The findings of this study indicated that the leadership of Kyai played an important role in the management of pesantrens economic empowerment.

Abstract

The focus of this study is to explore the process of internalizing the character values in social studies learning in students with aspects of the internalization process includes first identifying character values in social studies learning on students and second-niali identify meaning internalization of the character values in social studies learning.  This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research design. The results of this study indicate that the first internalization of the values of character is essentially a process of cultivation of character values into one's self so that these values become part of him, animating mindset, attitude, and behavior and build self-awareness to apply the value the value. Second values are internalized characters in three stages or phases representing the internalization process that phase transformation of values, stages of the transaction value, and the last stage trans internalization. The process of internalization of character values in social studies learning by example and practice activities teachers direct learning experiences through learning model, learning methods, learning materials, and evaluation. Behavior characterized actualized by students of SMP Negeri Model Terpadu Bojonegoro in everyday life in a social studies lesson in class that is disciplined, honest, likes to read, care for the environment, tolerance, social care, friends/ communicative responsibility.

Abstract

Dalihan na Tolu is a philosophy of life to pursue the ideals of the always rely on the value of hard work and honest. Hamoraon, hagabeon, hasangapon is a philosophy of life that people in life are required for persistent, hard-working, noble and oriented to the future. Patik dohot Uhum are rules and laws that must be followed to establish the truth and justice. Social Studies learn about the social-cultural mosaic of life can be developed through contextual learning. Community and cultural values can be used as a source of learning and laboratory to match the theoretical knowledge with practical reality. Cultural values of Batak Toba can be used as materials, learning resources, laboratory of Social Studies.
