Abstract

The study of the application of pictorial word guessing methods to improve the activity and learning outcomes of class IX A social studies subjects in World War 2 material and consequently in Sugio 1 Public Middle School 2018/2019 school year aims to apply the method of guessing words to improve learning activeness and results students of class IX A on social studies subjects especially material for World War 2 and consequently even semester 2018/2019 as many as 24 students. The method of data collection is done through tests, observations, documents and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out by analyzing the average score of the students' performance in the teaching and learning activities. Determine student learning outcomes. Calculates the percentage of students who have successfully taken the test. Data collection. This class action is carried out in 2 cycles consisting of the planning, implementation stages. Observation and reflection. Abstract

Instruments of Social Skills Observation and sociometry based on Learning Social studies in junior high school. The purpose of this research is to implement the instruments of social skills of observation and sociometry based on learning in junior high school social studies, analyze the effectiveness of use of instruments of social skills in social studies learning. This study classified as comparative studies with experimental approaches. The method used is a quasi-experimental methods (quasi-experimental design). Sampling was done by cluster random sampling and the sample was 64 students from two different classes. Data collected by questionnaire and observation sheet. Data were analyzed using t-test formula for two large samples to each other do not have a relationship. The results showed: The test results showed that the effectiveness of the instruments of social skills-based observation and sociometry more effective and fit for use.

Abstract

The study is to apply the concept of power/ knowledge Michel Foucault to examine black campaign presidential election 2014.Using perspective the Foucault these phenomena can be understood not merely causation black campaign. However, using the power and knowledge could be used to dissect the Foucault knowledge built by investors who wanted black campaign. Successful teams and even the supporters of the two camps, which are strongholds of Former stronghold Prabowo-Hatta and Jokowi-Jk battlefield mutual borrowing terms Foucault “discourse” to win the meaning of reality that is constructed. It is therefore interesting to research this further investigated. This study uses research methods online (Online Research Method [ORMs]) analysis approach to hacking developed by M. Jacky. Analysis of hacking (hacking analysis) is the new pendekataan in the online research that is used to understand social reality of virtual internet users (Netter). Abstract

The existence of innovative learning allows dynamism in learning. The presence of technology in the world of education is to help teachers and students to obtain the speed of information, create innovative learning, and facilitate all teaching and learning activities. One result of technology that can be utilized in learning is the presence of a smartphone. On the smartphone, there is a QR Code media that can be downloaded via Google Play. One of the sociological materials, namely social conflict is the choice to be presented with QR Code media. The implementation is that students from one of the groups download the QR Code on their smartphone so that they can scan the assignments given by the teacher in the form of barcodes. Previously the teacher had prepared questions about the subject of social conflict in the form of barcodes. Gurupun also download a barcode generator on a smartphone to be able to write the problem, then the final result in the form of a barcode. The results in the form of barcodes are then printed. Then students do the scanning on the printed barcode and the task or problem to appear will appear. Completion of tasks is done in groups so as to accelerate the process. Learning with QR Code media also includes 21st century educational abilities, including literacy, strengthening character education, and 4C (critical, communicative, collaborative, and creative). By using the QR Code media it turns out to be very effective in fostering students' interest in studying sociology. Keywords : Innovative learning, QR Code, Barcode Generator, Scaning, Social Conflict

Abstract

In an organization, motivation is the very important thing that it cannot be separated from employee performance. To get good performance, it is necessary to improve employee work motivation. Most employees need motivation to feel good about their jobs and perform optimally. Some employees are financially motivated while others find recognition and rewards personally motivating. A good leader will certainly create a comfortable environment and motivate employees with the aim that the enthusiasm for work and providing maximum performance. Work motivation is an important factor for obtaining good performance. This study aims to be a reference for researchers who plan to make research with the theme of motivation on employee performance so that researchers have a plan about what cases have been studied by previous researchers and then provide ideas for further development. The data in this study were taken from 30 articles over the past 10 years with the theme of motivation on employee performance and published in the Trijurnal Online Research Institute of Trisakti University and Emerald Insight Journals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the learning model of sending greetings and questions with the BUS media to increase the activity and learning outcomes of students in class VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Tekung. There is still low student activity in preliminary observations where there are only 3 students who ask questions and 2 students who are willing to answer their friends' questions and the average value of their learning outcomes is 70.The problems in the research location are as follows: (a) the teaching and learning process in a class that is less varied, (b) the assumption that social studies is a collection of memorization material that is boring and reduces students' motivation to learn, and (c) the learning outcomes of students for social studies subjects are still low. This study followed a classroom action research design consisting of 4 activities, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting in which the data were presented in a descriptive qualitative manner. The results of the study of the application of the learning model of sending greetings and questions with BUS media went well according to the syntax, activity and learning outcomes increased. Classical completeness of the preliminary observations was 37%, Cycle I increased 74% and cycle II increased to 95%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap dan minat peserta didik smp muhammadiyah 15 surabaya, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan jumlah 22 responden. Data diperoleh melalui angket dengan pertanyaan yang relevan. Kemudian data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui persentase dan diolah dengan frekuensi dibagi dengan jumlah responden dikali 100 %. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, dapat diidentifikasikan secara seginifikan, maka hasil dari  keseluruhan rata-rata indikator yaitu indikator sikap dengan persentase terbesar 18 (82 %) pada kategori skor ’tidak pernah’ dengan jumlah rata-rata 2,54 dan indikator minat terbesar 15 (68,1 %) pada kategori skor ’tidak pernah’ dengan jumlah rata-rata 2,44, rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 2,85 %.

Abstract

Exposures to environmental toxicants have always been a major source of health risks throughout the world. Pollution is thus a threat to human health, the environment and the quality of life of millions of lives on this planet. Since the last decade, media has become a major source in promoting health awareness. They provide knowledge about how to prevent and overcome from these diseases. The media matter significantly in public health. It affects the mind of the people as well as their thinking process and ideas. It is a major force in creating awareness about important issues and affects national and global efforts towards socio-economic progress and understanding. This descriptive cross sectional study was conducted to determine the awareness level and knowledge of the people of Silchar about pollution diseases and various health problems arising out of it.

Abstract

This research aimed to see how: The application of Group Investigation Model by movie documenter in raising awareness of State Defense and class XII student achievement IPS SMAN 1 Gedangan. . The research procedure used was Classroom Action Research. This study was conducted in three cycles, each of which consisted of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research methods employed were observation on the group investigation learning process with movie media, questionnaire of students’ State Defense Awareness and cognitive test to find out the student learning achievement, and interview. The result achieved in this research was as follow. The application of Group Investigation model with documentary movie could also improve the State Defense awareness as indicated by the students’ State Defense awareness values of 64.59 in pre-cycle, increasing to 71.09 in cycle I, 75.28 in cycle II and 78.813 in cycle III, with the classical passing of 96.88% or 31 students. The learning achievement in each cycle also increased significantly from 67.63 in pre-cycle to 73.38 in cycle I, 79.06 in cycle II, and 83.75 in cycle III. The number of students passing the class was 11 in pre-cycle, 17 in cycle I, 21 in cycle II and 29 in cycle III.

The results of this study showed that an increase in achievement of learning outcomes from 75% to 90% or an increase of 15%., So researchers hope that learning methods Discovry "TRIPLE B-NET" can be used as a contribution to the learning subjects Integrated IPS particular and other subjects generally PenelitianTindakan this class is implemented with the aim of covering (1) Increase student participation in the learning process. (2). efforts to improve the quality of the methods developed in learning. (3) .Memberi motivation to students to improve their creativity. (4) .Menciptakan the classroom atmosphere more conducive to learning. The benefits of this research is an attempt to help students understand the concept of geography by way of self-learning and creative thinking in order to achieve an increase in creativity to the fullest.
