Artikel ini mencoba untuk menjawab pertanyaan tentang apa karakter nilai-nilai yang terintegrasi dan bagaimana guru bahasa Inggris mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam proses belajar mengajar teks narasi di SMA Negeri Pamekasan. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan observasi. Peserta penelitian ini adalah semua siswa XI-F SMAN 1 Pamekasan. Temuan penelitian ini, ada enam nilai-nilai karakter yang guru bahasa Inggris terintegrasi melalui dua teks naratif berjudul "Raja Arthur dan Donkey, Tabel, dan Stick" yaitu menjadi gemar membaca, mandiri, komunikatif, ingin tahu, pekerja keras, dan disiplin . Secara umum ada dua langkah yang guru dilaksanakan untuk terintegrasi nilai-nilai karakter. Yang pertama adalah memilih nilai-nilai karakter tertentu berdasarkan kata kerja yang digunakan dalam indikator pembelajaran. Yang kedua adalah mengintegrasikan nilai karakter yang dipilih dalam proses belajar mengajar teks narasi bahasa Inggris.

German language is taught in Indonesia as a foreign language, or we usually call as DAF (Deutsch als Fremdsprache). This language is taught in formal and non-formal institutions. In this context, it is very important, especially for the teacher to bring interactive and joyfull learning in the classroom, and it is challenging for the teacher. Thus, presenting interesting language in the class, full of innovativation in learning prosess of German language, must be done. One of the choices to get those situations in the classroom is to bring a good media. Film is one alternative that can be presented. This paper discusses how to bring movies in learning a foreign language (German). Further discussion is more about (a) Definition of film, (b) Film, as a medium in teaching learning process, and (c) How to teach German with didactic and methodic in learning German language.

The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, because this study aims to describe the linguistic fault lines in the descriptive essay done by the students of Chinese Education Department of University state of Surabaya academic year 2012. In this research, there are 53 essays written by 53 respondent. Data analysis was initiated by identifying the mistakes in syntax and lexicon of descriptive essay in Mandarin, then classify these forms of error into linguistic taxonomy, and concluded the factors that cause errors speak.The results of this study consists of three parts. The first part is finding a syntax error in the form of a descriptive essay in Mandarin, which forms a syntax error in the preparation of fungtor language of Mandarin, some 5 grains fault error. Furthermore, the use of particles in Mandarin improper, some 9 points of error. The latter syntax error is improper preparation of the sentence as much as 82 grains of error. Where errors in grammar occur due to the authors make a mistake that the order of words in reverse. In addition there is also a mistake lexicon, namely in the form of improper use of the word as much as 134 grains contained errors. The latter is a global and a local fault. Globally there are 8 points errors and locally there are 6 items mistake. Factors causing the linguistic fault lines obtained from interviews of respondents stated that when studying Mandarin, the most difficult thing to learn is the grammar. This isproved by the number of 8 respondents who answered grammar is the hardest less onto learn. Then the tone and word pronunciation difficulties as many as seven people. The latter as much as 3 respondents said things that are difficult to study in Mandarin is writing Chinese characters. Recently, there were14 respondents who were not able to give an example of the full text of some kind of sentence filed by the researcher to the respondents.

Mantra sebagai salah satu genre sastra lisan, pada masanya dijadikan masyarakat Nusantara sebagai jawaban dalam menangani permasalahan-permasalahan kehidupan. Pada masanya akibat kurangnya ilmu pengetahuan medis modern dalam menangani permasalahan seputar kehamilan dan kelahiran bayi menjadikan mantra sebagai salah satu solusi penyelesaiannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memaparkan struktur teks mantra seputar masa kehamilan, dan kelahiran bayi, ditinjau dari sisi makna dan fungsi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan cara deskriptif analisis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui proses wawancara, perekaman, dan pencatatan. Wawancara bebas digunakan dengan harapan informan dapat memberikan informasi secara terbuka. Perekaman dan pencatatan dilakukan dalam upaya mengalihbahasakan teks mantra dari lisan menjadi bentuk tulisan. Sehingga melalui proses alih bahasa tersebut, teks mantra-mantra yang ada seputar masa kehamilan dan kelahiran dapat diarsipkan sebagai warisan budaya nusantara.

This study aimed to describe the introduction of Indonesian Traditional Games in Unesa BIPAs Class that includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted in classes BIPA Unesa in the course Introduction to Indonesian Culture, February 17, 2016. The subjects were students who take the program BIPA Unesa Dharmasiswa class of 11 students . The stages of this study include the initial, core, end. In the early stage, researcher collecting information about situation in BIPA class at Unesa and creating syllabus and instruments. At the core stage, researcher doing learning and teaching process based on syllabus. At the last stage is evaluating of learning. Things that exist during the learning and teaching process that the students are very enthusiastic attention and focus on lecturer and model. Based on the task, students' ability is quite good with an average of 83.

Tujuan makalah ini adalah memaparkan bentuk telaah karekterisasi melalui gaya bahasa. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode content analysis dan pendekatan struktural. Karakterisasi dalam cerita sangat berperan dalam menghidupkan tokoh imajinatf pengarang. Banyak cara dilakukan oleh pengarang dalam menggambarkan karakter tokoh-tokohnya, baik secara langsung ataupun tak langsung. Dengan berbagai macam gaya bahasa, pengarang dapat menggambarkan tokoh imajinatifnya sehingga lebih hidup dan berkesan. Kumpulan cerpen Senyum Karyamin karya Ahmad Tohari bertokoh orang-orang lapisan bawah. Dengan gaya bahasa yang khas, tokoh-tokoh dalam kumpulan cerpen tersebut bukan sekedar pembeberan watak orang kecil yang dibebani oleh masalah kehidupan. Namun, sarat pesan dalam penggambaran wataknya. Misalnya, dengan gaya bahasa ironi kemunafikan manusia dapat digambarkan dengan jelas atau bagaimana seseorang yang congkak digambarkan melalui gaya bahasa metafor yang tajam.

The analysis of this paper is related to the myth analysis of the adevertisements of Aqua water drink that are advertised in the television. Relating to this, these myth of Aqua has sent the messages to the readers mind. These myth can the readers mind to choose something and make a decision. In those advertisements of Aqua, the myth are sent by considering the location of video advertisement, colors choosing, ornamemts adding, time settings, choosing of musics, the characters of actors or actress, the compny image, and choosing of sentences that can persuade the readers to buy the Aqua product and specfifically make this myth becomes one of factors of influencein buying something. This analysis uses the library study to know and to observe the phenomena or conditions in producing the video advertisement of the water drink product. For this, the qualitative data are used to know the description of the myth of the product advertised and its supporting factors. The descriptive qualitative analysis is applied to analyse these data. The result of research proves that the majority of myth that involved in the advertisement can mention Aqua is the best hygiene water drink the people consume. These advertisements of Aqua can make the audiences or people believe that Aqua is the right water drink for the body health, especially in reducing dehydration and increasing the concentration of the person that consumes it.

The representation of evil in The Scarlet Letter, Madam Bovary, Anna Karenina, and Lady Chatterleys Lover is a choice to be compared by the theory of comparative literature of Claudio Guillen.It is called thematology. It is based on the assumption that a theme will be different as it is accepted by different cultures. Internationality is applied among others. The evil functions as a representation of a sinner in The Scarlet Letter in line with external marital affairs by the main character. It is due to the belief of witch that leads to the special woman. The witch as the representation of evil changes to the beggar in Madam Bovary and a railway station officer in Anna Karenina. Both reflect the different social stratification as the effect of materialism. Lady Chatterleys Lover has transformed to an invisible representation of evil. It is the mentality of capitalism. The transformation of those evil in the novels is created from the stereotype towards the cursed by society. It deals with the belief and status.

Cyber literature is literature that covers various genres of work submitted through the electronic media. Ideology contains in the literature cyber is postmodern ideology. Postmodern is difficult to be identified specifically, but the postmodern has common traits that always builds sorting binary opposition. In the current literary research, literary cyberspace is not a study, but rather a œstudy area. Cyber is the study of literature, not as a œperspective. As study materials, cyber literary phenomenon presents a unique, creative,and challanges a literary researcher. Therefore, the field is classified as current work, should use the latest research model, which is more significant if it is utilized.

Menciptakan proses belajar mengajar memerlukan perencanaan yang baik dan keterampilan mengajar guru. Sebagai seorang guru, mereka harus mampu melakukan proses pembelajaran secara efektif dan bermakna untuk membantu siswa mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Selain itu, para guru dituntut untuk membuat rencana pelajaran dan menerapkannya., penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana guru mengembangkan rencana pelajaran dan menerapkannya dalam proses belajar mengajar. Metode studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan proses pembelajaran yang berdasarkan rencana pelajaran yang telah dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rencana pelajaran dikembangkan guru terkemuka itu dilakukan dengan baik berdasarkan teori pengembangan rencana pembelajaran dan berdasarkan peraturan Kementerian Pendidikan. RPP menunjukkan kesalingterkaitan antara semua komponen RPP, mereka adalah; kompetensi dasar, kompetensi dasar sub, indikator, tujuan pembelajaran, kegiatan belajar mengajar, metode, strategi pembelajaran, media dan sumber, dan penilaian.
