Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi mahasiswa menggunakan media sosial WhatsApp pada Mata Kuliah Biokimia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan angket motivasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester II Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Nahdlatul Wathan Mataram yang berjumlah 13 mahasiswa. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah media sosial WhatsApp. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial WhatsApp dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning models on problem solving abilities and student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at Baiturrahman Mahmudi Islamic High School (Yabadi) Bebuak. The research method used is Pre-Experimental Design using One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a quantitative approach. Sampling was carried out using a saturated sample technique. The research sample consisted of 29 students of class X. Data collection using an instrument in the form of a test that was adjusted to the indicators of problem solving and the cognitive domain of learning outcomes and had been tested for validity, and reliability, as well as observation sheets for the implementation of learning. The results showed that the average post-test score of problem solving ability was 80.00, while the post-test average score of 65.21. Data analysis using t-test, obtained t value for solving problems of 4.52 and for learning outcomes of 4.81 while the t table with a significance level of 5% (0.05) and degrees of freedom (dk) = 28 of 1.70 (t- count> t - table). Then it can be said that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The conclusion from the results of this study that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on problem solving and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Dye Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs) can use two types of coloring, namely dyes derived from organic and inorganic materials. The choice of natural dyes is preferred by looking at the enormous potential of biodiversity in Indonesia, where there are still many untapped especially for plants that have a tendency to be colored or contain chromophore dyes such as chlorophyll (play a role in the absorption of light for photosynthesis). The purpose of this study is to find out about the flow and efficiency of the natural dyes of the gotu kola leaves (Centella asiatica) and water spinach (Ipomea aquatica) on the island of Lombok where their wavelength characteristics are in the UV-Vis region. The technique used when coating TiO2 on the semiconductor glass is that DSSC is a doctor blade technique. In the measurement of current strength and efficiency with multimeters on organic dyes in a row that is 5 μA / cm2 fresh bebele leaves; 0.156; fresh kangkung leaves 4.2 μA / cm2; 0,131; 4 μA / cm2 dried bebele leaves; 0.13; dried kale leaf 3 μA / cm2; 0.088.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Solving on critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes on the subject of biodiversity class X SMA Suralaga. This research is a quase experiment with a non equivalent pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X and the sample of this study was class XC and XD using simple random sampling techniques. Class XC totaling 22 students as a control class with direct instruction techniques and class XD totaling 22 students as an experimental class who were treated with Problem Solving. The research instrument used was a test of learning outcomes in the form of pre-test and post-test, critical thinking questions and observation sheet of the implementation of learning. The results showed that the average value of experimental class learning outcomes 72.99, while the average value of the control class was 60.73. The average value of critical thinking experimental class 78.05, while the average value of the control class 59.86. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with regression tests obtained significance of learning outcomes 0,000 less than the significance of 0.05 (0,000 <0.05) as well as the significance value of critical thinking 0.00 smaller than the significance value of 0.05 (0.00 <0, 05). The conclusion from the results of this study that there is an influence of problem solving on critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes..

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Grade VI students in science subjects with the subject matter of the breeding of living things using Think Pair Share Learning Model (TPS). This research is a class action research. The subject of this study was class VI SDN 3 Jereweh with 25 students taking place in three cycles and each consisting of 3 meetings. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and tests. The results of classroom action research by applying a think pair share learning model indicate that student science learning outcomes have increased. This is indicated by an increase in the average value of the class at the time of cycle 1 the average value of 74.28; 76.74 in cycle 2, and 87 in cycle 3, while classical completeness increases 24% from cycle 1 to cycle 2, and from cycle 2 to cycle 3 32%. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the Think Pair Share (TPS) Learning Model has been proven to have improved the learning outcomes of Grade VI students in science subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of demonstration learning methods on science process skills in the Islamic Middle School of Sa'adatuddarain NW Majuwet 2018/2019 Academic Year. The type of research is a Quase Experiment Pre-Exprimental Design, which uses a pre-Test and Post-Test Group. In this study observations were made 2 times, namely before the experiment and after the experiment. Observations made before the experiment (O1) are called pre-tests, and observations after the experiment (O2) are called post-tests. The sample in this study was class VII. Data collection methods in this study used tests, interviews and observation. Data analysis of the results of this study is to use the t-test, which is to test the hypothesis. The results showed that there was an effect of demonstration learning methods on science process skills, this can be seen from the results of the t-test, namely tcount = 8,197 while ttable = 1,706 (tcount> ttable) with a significant level of 0.05, so that HO was rejected and Ha was accepted . The conclusion from the results of this study is that there is a significant influence of the use of demonstration learning methods on science process skills in Sa'adatuddarain Middle School NW Majuwet East Lombok 2018/2019 Academic Year.

Abstract

This reseach purposes to increase the activity and the study result of sains student in VIII classin two semester in SMPN 19 Mataram by the sub discussion the respiratory system human. This reseach is a class action reseach which purposes to: (1) increase the sains study activity; (2) increase the sains result. The reseach is the class action reseach which is conductedin there circles, each circle consists of four steps, such as the planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that in the third cycle, the average student learning outcomes rose to 74.05, with the number of students who finished studying as much as 77.23% of 22 students. This shows that the completeness of classical study in class VIII has been reached, because of completeness of classical study achieved when 75% had obtained a value of ≥ 72. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model of Team Game Tournament (TGT) can increase the activity and learning result of sains of VIII class students SMPN 19 Mataram academic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

Protein is a structural and functional component found in living organisms. This study aims to determine the quantity of protein obtained and the type of protein that was successfully extracted from the culture of Escherichia coli BL 21 (DE3). The research method uses exploratory descriptive, measurement of protein concentration by spectrophotometer and analysis of protein molecular weight by SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. The results of the study it was found that the total protein isolated from E. coli BL21 (DE3) bacterial culture had a concentration of 7.67 µg / µl, the control concentration was higher than the sample which was 9.33 µg / µl. The conclutions of the study it was found that the concentration of total protein isolated from E. coli BL21 (DE3) bacterial culture had a of 7.67 µg/µl, but the molecular weight and type of protein in total protein were still unknown.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the behavior of long-tailed monkeys (Macaca fascicularis) in Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) Suranadi, West Lombok. This type of research is descriptive exploratory with a qualitative approach. Observation of the behavior of long-tailed monkeys was carried out in three groups, each of which was located in the west, north and east of Suranadi TWA Dam. The method of observing the behavior of long-tailed monkeys used is Scan Sampling. Each group of long-tailed monkeys was observed three times, each for 150 minutes at 5 minute intervals. The results of this study can be seen that the behavior of long-tailed monkeys in the west from highest to low yields is moving (39.26%), eating (17.66%), inactive (13.96%), grooming (11.55%) voiced (9.8%), playing (4.04%), agonistic (2.03%), sleeping (1.6%), and mating (0.1%). The behavior of long-tailed monkeys in the east from highest to low yields is moving (37.28%), noiseless (15.2%), feeding (14.53%), inactive (12.3%), grooming (11.16) %), agonistic (4.6%), play (3.63%), sleep (1.17%), and mate (0.13%). Behavior of long tailed monkeys in the north from high to low is moving (38.03%), feeding (28.64%), inactive (13.2%), noiseless (10.14%), grooming (6.42% ), agonistic (1.9%), play (1.17%), and sleep (0.5%). There are 9 types of observation points at the west and east and 8 types of behavior at the north observation point. The conclusion of this study is that the average percentage of long-tailed Monkey behavior from high to low is moving, eating, inactive, voicing, grooming, playing, agonistic, sleeping and mating.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Grade VI students on natural science subjects with the subject of ecosystem equilibrium using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this research is a students of Grade VI Elementary School (SDN) 03 Jereweh with 25 students. This research took place in two cycles consisting of 3 meetings for cycle-1 and 2 meetings for cycle-2. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and tests. Classroom Action Research results by applying the Jigsaw Learning Model shows that student’s natural science learning outcomes have increased. This is indicated by an increase in the average value of the class that is during cycle-1 the average value of 74 increased to 82.6 in cycle-2. Classical completeness of students has increased by 52% from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The conclusion of this study is that the application of Jigsaw Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in the material ecosystem equilibrium in class VI SDN 03 Jereweh.
