Abstract

This research is motivated by the low reading and writing skills of students in Indonesian learning, which is one of the crucial problems in education. The results of PISA 2018 show that Indonesia is ranked 74th out of 79 countries in reading literacy, indicating that there are still many students who have difficulty understanding, analyzing, and constructing texts effectively. This condition is exacerbated by the lack of contextual, interesting, and rooted learning media in local wisdom. Therefore, this research is important to develop learning solutions that integrate digital technology with local culture, especially Mbobo folklore, to meaningfully improve student literacy. The purpose of this research is to develop and test the effectiveness of interactive digital media based on Mbojo folklore in improving students' reading and writing skills. The research also contributes to enriching the Indonesian learning model based on culture and technology. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model, which is applied from needs analysis to media evaluation. The results showed a significant improvement in reading and writing skills with an average increase of 28.8%. In addition, student satisfaction reached 85% and active engagement was 82%. These findings confirm that interactive digital media based on Mbojo folklore is effective in increasing literacy while strengthening students' connection to local culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan media pembelajaran digital yang menarik dan sesuai perkembangan anak usia dini. Smart Game dikembangkan sebagai alternatif inovatif untuk mendukung perkembangan kognitif anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berupa Smart Game untuk anak usia 5–6 tahun di PAUD Ainul Yakin serta menguji efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir simbolik. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg and Gall yang disederhanakan menjadi enam tahap: analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan, pengembangan produk, uji coba terbatas, revisi, dan uji coba utama. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, angket validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, serta tes kognitif (pretest dan posttest). Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa Smart Game mendapat skor 31 dari ahli media dalam rentang 30,6 < 31 < 64,8  dan 32 dari ahli materi dalam rentang 30,6 < 32 < 64,8, keduanya termasuk kategori “Baik.” Uji t menggunakan SPSS menghasilkan nilai signifikansi p < 0,001, sehingga terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media. Hal ini menandakan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif digunakan.Kesimpulannya, Smart Game efektif sebagai media pembelajaran digital untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini serta dapat menjadi solusi inovatif bagi guru PAUD dalam menghadirkan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

Edukasi mindful parenting adalah proses pengembangan diri yang berdampak positif dalam kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi mindful parenting terhadap regulasi emosi pada orang tua kelompok B. Mindful Parenting adalah pendekatan pengasuhan yang mengedepankan kesadaran penuh dalam pengasuhan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental dengan bentuk One-Group Pre-Test-Post-Test design. Subjek berjumlah 15 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar Angket dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas dan uji-t. Hasil pre-test diperoleh jumlah pemahaman orang tua 467 dengan persentase 64% masih berada pada kategori sedang, dan setelah dilaksanakan edukasi mindful parenting diperoleh hasil 655 dengan persentase 90% menunjukkan kategori tinggi. Selain itu, dapat dilihat dari hasil uji Normalitas yaitu 0,619 > 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa data tersebut berdistribusi normal dan hasil uji hipotesis t-test yaitu 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa edukasi mindful parenting dapat berpengaruh digunakan untuk menerapkan regulasi emosi yang baik pada orang tua kelompok B.

Abstract

Keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran seperti buku LKS yang monoton dan kurang menarik menyebabkan sebagian siswa merasa bosan dan kurang minat dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Pop-Up Book berbasis kearifan lokal melalui model ADDIE yang valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila materi Pancasila pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE, yakni terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu tahap Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara dan angket. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 14 Cakranegara dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi kearifan lokal, ahli materi Pancasila, angket respon siswa dan angket respon guru.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa media Pop-Up Book berbasis kearifan lokal memperoleh persentase skor validitas dari ahli media sebesar 88,75%, dari ahli materi kearifan lokal sebesar 93,3%, dari ahli materi Pancasila sebesar 82,6%. Nilai tersebut termasuk kategori sangat valid. Uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan tingkat kepraktisan rata-rata sebesar 91% berdasarkan angket respon siswa, dan 84% dari guru wali kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Cakranegara. Sementara itu, pada uji coba kelompok besar diperoleh rata-rata persentase skor sebesar 90,45% dari siswa. Seluruh nilai tersebut termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Pop-Up Book berbasis kearifan lokal melalui model ADDIE layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila materi Pancasila pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar karena telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Effective program evaluation is a fundamental prerequisite for ensuring quality and accountability in primary education institutions. Consequently, this study aims to analyze the education program evaluation system in elementary schools to improve school management efficiency. The study focuses on three main aspects: identifying weaknesses in the existing evaluation system, analyzing the effectiveness of the evaluation instruments used, and providing strategic recommendations for improving the evaluation system to make it more focused and sustainable. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires to principals, vice principals, teachers, and education personnel (tendik), with a total of 84 respondents. The results show that the existing education program evaluation system still faces various problems, including limitations in indicator standards, a lack of consistency in implementation, and minimal utilization of evaluation results for managerial decision-making. The evaluation instruments used are also not fully effective in describing program achievements, especially in qualitative aspects such as character development and student creativity. These findings emphasize the need to strengthen the evaluation system with clearer standards, comprehensive instruments, and optimal utilization of evaluation results in education program planning. Thus, this study concludes that improving the education program evaluation system in elementary schools is a crucial step in improving school management efficiency. The resulting recommendations can serve as a reference for principals, teachers, and policymakers in developing a more integrated, transparent, and needs-based evaluation system. Through appropriate evaluation, elementary schools can optimize resources, improve the quality of educational services, and support the sustainable achievement of educational goals.

Abstract

Creativity is a crucial ability in teacher education, especially for prospective teachers, as it relates to designing innovative, engaging, and contextually relevant learning strategies, methods, and media. However, the creativity of prospective teachers in designing primary science learning remains a challenge, as teaching practices are often conventional and less connected to local cultural contexts. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Ethno-STEM Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in fostering prospective teachers’ creativity in designing science learning media and modules for primary schools. The research was conducted at a University in Mataram involving 59 students of the Elementary School Teacher Education study program, divided into two classes. Data were collected using product assessment observation sheets with a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–4), and the scores were analyzed descriptively to determine the level of creativity demonstrated in the students’ products. The results show that students successfully developed learning products in the form of media and modules integrated with Ethno-STEM. Based on 15 indicators, the average score for learning media was 81.69, while the average score for modules was 82.52. These findings indicate that the products were in the good category, reflecting a positive impact of the model on fostering prospective teachers’ creativity.

Abstract

Pendidikan vokasi berperan strategis dalam menyiapkan tenaga kerja terampil yang mampu menjawab kebutuhan industri modern, namun kualitas layanan masih menghadapi tantangan pada aspek Tangible. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan merumuskan strategi peningkatan mutu layanan pendidikan vokasi pada dimensi Tangible di Perguruan Tinggi Tekstil XYZ. Perumusan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kajian dokumen. Hasil dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif menggunakan metode USG untuk menentukan prioritas permasalahan, serta TRIZ untuk menghasilkan solusi inovatif. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi empat isu utama yang memengaruhi mutu layanan, yaitu ketiadaan mesin Blowing untuk praktik pemintalan, tidak terdapat sistem reorder point  bahan baku sliver, sistem penilaian magang manual, serta ketiadaan standar preventive maintenance. Berdasarkan analisis USG, isu ketiadaan mesin Blowing memiliki tingkat urgensi tertinggi. Penerapan TRIZ menampilkan solusi kreatif berupa simulasi CAD 3D sebagai alternatif pembelajaran praktik dan pengembangan kalkulator ROP berbasis HTML dengan dukungan kecerdasan buatan untuk pengelolaan bahan praktik. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan inovasi teknologi dan digitalisasi proses pembelajaran tidak hanya mampu menutup keterbatasan sarana fisik, tetapi juga mendorong efisiensi operasional serta memperkuat keterhubungan antara proses pendidikan vokasi dan kebutuhan industri. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi pada perlunya transformasi manajemen fasilitas pembelajaran menuju model layanan vokasi adaptif, inovatif, dan berorientasi industri.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of audio visual media, particularly YouTube, on students’ listening comprehension in vocational schools. A quasi experimental design was applied by dividing participants into experimental and control groups, each consisting of thirty five eleventh grade students from a vocational school in Surabaya. The study was carried out over five meetings, with listening tests used to measure students’ progress before and after the treatment. The results showed significant improvement in the experimental group exposed to YouTube based learning activities. Their average score increased from 42.57 in the pre test to 68.57 in the post test, demonstrating the effectiveness of integrating audio visual resources into the classroom. Statistical testing using the Wilcoxon method confirmed the findings, as the p value was lower than 0.05. Consequently, the alternative hypothesis was accepted, and the null hypothesis was rejected, providing strong evidence of the benefits of YouTube in language learning. In addition to statistical confirmation, the study highlights the broader potential of technology in education. Audio visual media not only make learning more interactive and enjoyable but also provide authentic exposure that stimulates motivation and student participation.

Abstract

Learning in the twenty-first century demands that individuals, including future educators, be capable of meeting the challenges of globalization by developing their potential and various essential skills. Among these, critical thinking and argumentation are particularly important. One instructional approach that can foster these abilities is the Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) model. This study seeks to enhance students’ critical thinking and argumentation abilities by integrating the ADI model with expressive writing. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group, the study involved 65 students from STKIP Bina Mutiara Sukabumi. The findings revealed that the integration of the ADI model with expressive writing significantly improved students’ critical thinking and argumentation abilities. The t-test result (0.00 < a = 0.05) confirmed the significant impact of this approach. Furthermore, the effectiveness test showed an average n-gain score of 0.69 for critical thinking and 0.60 for argumentation skills. Therefore, it can be inferred that integrating the ADI model with expressive writing effectively enhances students’ critical thinking and argumentation skills.

Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Society 5.0 are driving the transformation of science education towards the development of 21st-century competencies, including socioscientific skills. However, the abstraction of concepts and limitations in representing complex phenomena pose challenges in chemistry learning. Immersive technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) offer solutions through the creation of interactive and personalized learning environments. This study aims to: (1) implement AR and AI-based Smart Digital Laboratory (Smart-DIL) media on environmental pollution material; (2) analyse its impact on student engagement and enthusiasm for learning; and (3) explore the development of environmental awareness and socioscientific skills through an eco-enzyme project. This qualitative research with an instrumental case study design involved 22 students from class XI IPA SMA Kristen Sonder who were selected purposively. Data collection was carried out through participant observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The data was analysed interactively following the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The implementation of Smart-DIL created a dynamic and immersive learning environment. A significant increase in engagement and enthusiasm for learning was observed, as demonstrated by intensive interaction with AR objects and critical discussions. This application also acts as a catalyst in fostering environmental awareness and socio-scientific skills, which are manifested in the full engagement of students during the practice of making eco-enzymes. The AR and AI-based Smart Digital Laboratory is effective in transforming chemistry learning into contextual and competency-based learning. The integration of this technology in the Merdeka Curriculum not only increases learning engagement but also fosters students' socio-scientific skills and digital literacy.
