Abstract

Basically, most students think that mathematics is an unpleasant subject, but actually it starts from suggestions received from other people. That suggestion causes students to feel tense and afraid even before receiving math lessons. The use of the lecture method used by the teacher causes students to play a less role so that they feel less excited and feel bored, their understanding is not optimal, and the scores obtained are not as expected. This study aims to improve the critical thinking of class X students of SMA ISLAM AL-IKHWAN after participating in the PBL learning model. This classroom action research was conducted in 3 cycles, each of which consisted of one meeting. Each cycle consists of four steps, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of critical thinking scores of students in cycle I was 33% with low qualifications, increased in cycle II by 67% with medium qualifications, cycle III by 100% with high qualifications. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the indicators of success of this study are fulfilled and the application of the PBL model in online learning can improve students' critical thinking.

Abstract

Learning objectives can be realized optimally and cannot be separated from mutual support of compenents in learning both educators, students, and teaching material. Teaching materials in learning can be form of game media, visual media, audio-visual media, and media from of books. Teaching materials can help achieve the learning objectives. One alternative is to use modules from comic as teaching materials. This research aims to KEPOH (Komik Edukasi Profesor Hana) material changes in the form of objects in grade III elementary school worthy of use. The method used in this research is the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation, Evaluation). In determining the feasibility of the module, validation is carried out on content aspects, presentation aspects, linguistic aspects, and graphic aspects in accordance with the eligibility criteria for textbooks according to BSNP (National education standards agency). Based on the resultsof data analysis that has been carried out regarding the development teaching module of the KEPOH (Komik Edukasi Profesor Hana) material change in the form of objects in grade III elementary school, got a final score of 3,96 in the very good category so that the teaching module of KEPOH (Komik Edukasi Profesor Hana) material change in the form of objects in grade III elementary school is feasible to use based on the book eligibility criteria according to the national education standards agency (BSNP).

Abstract

This study aims to realize active mathematics learning in class XII TIB SMK YAPPI Wonosari using the Discovery Learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this study were students of class XII TIB SMK YAPPI WONOSARI. The object of this research is the whole process and results of mathematics learning activities in improving the realization of active mathematics learning using the Discovery Learning model. The instrument in this study was active learning observation. This research was conducted in three cycles, the first cycle consisting of one meeting, the second cycle consisting of one meeting, and the third cycle consisting of one meeting. The data collection technique in this research is observation. Learning is carried out online through the Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS), zoom meetings and WAG. This study shows that active learning has been achieved. This is indicated by an increase in the percentage of each active learning indicator from cycle I to cycle II and cycle III through observation. The observation results showed an increase in the percentage of active mathematics learning from cycle I to cycle II and cycle III, namely: Cycle 1 34.4%, cycle 2 41.13%, and cycle III 60.13%. Actions have reached the indicators of success in cycle III.

Abstract

Scientific article is a type of scientific text that cannot be separated from the students’ academic life, therefore students' understanding of scientific articles needs to be known clearly. The purpose of this research is to describe the students’ understanding of scientific article. The research respondents were PGSD students’ class 2018 class A, B, and C totaling 81 peoples. The data analysis used is descriptive quantitative, that is, describing the results of data analysis based on carrying out of the data collection. The collected data used a questionnaire technique and the research instrument used a questionnaire sheet. Based on the data analysis, the results of the research showed that the students of class A, B, and C who answered YES were 45.11%, 52.38%, and 53.9%. The results of the response to NO are class A 54.89%, class B47.62%, and class C 46.1%.

The results of this study indicate that the percentage of critical thinking scores of students in cycle I was 56% with low qualifications, increased in cycle II by 68.75% with enough qualifications, cycle III by 81,25% with high qualifications. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the indicators of success of this study are fulfilled and the application of the Discovery Learning model in online learning can improve students' critical thinking.

Abstract

His study aims to determine the development of 3-dimensional mind mapping in class IV Mi tarbiyatul aulad wedani, and determine the validity of 3-dimensional mind mapping based on class IV Mi tarbiyatul aulad Wedani. The study was conducted at MI Tarbiyatul Aulad Wedani Cerme. The model used is a model developed by Thiagarajan which is a 4-D model with the modification of researchers into three stages including the stages of defining, designing, and developing. The final results of the validator assessment of mind mapping based on 3 dimensions in class IV MI Tarbiyatul Aulad Wedani is 86.65 and included in the category very feasible to be used in the learning process of class IV MI Tarbiyatul Aulad Wedani students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of google meet in online lectures for PGSD students in the Basic Concept of Civics at SD during the COVID-19 pandemic. The subjects of this study were 89 students of PGSD class A and B. This type of research used in this research is descriptive research. Where this research describes the application of google meet in lectures. The method used is a qualitative method which is also called an artistic method, because the research process is more artistic (less patterned) and is also called an interpretive method because the research data is more concerned with the interpretation of the data found in the field. The research data shows that the google meet application in online learning for PGSD students states that it is very easy to access, namely 70 students, while only 2 students experience difficulties. Understanding the material in online lectures using google meet, 25 students stated that they strongly agreed that the material could be understood well. The effectiveness of using the google meet application in online learning 11 students stated that it was very effective while 32 students stated that they did not agree with the effectiveness of learning. Students do not understand the material because sometimes the signal breaks due to cloudy weather or rain. This means that the lecturer provides a solution by always sending the lecture material dictates before the online lecture activity on the WhatsApp group, so that all students can attend lectures without being left behind due to signal constraints. Evaluation of the use of google meet in online lectures after going through 6 meetings, students wishing they could learn using the offline method. According to students, it is easier to understand lecture material if it is done face-to-face without going through the online.

Abstract

From the learning outcomes of SDI Darussalam Dungmas students through Classroom Action Research (CAR) that using audio visual media has covered all learning material in SKI lessons properly and correctly. Through this audio visual media will be able to help students in the teaching and learning process, will make students better understand, and more happy in following the SKI learning process, so students will not quickly get bored and busy, and students will be very interested in finding the SKI Learning process , so that the learning atmosphere in the class will also be more fun, so that student learning outcomes can also be better and more improved. Based on the results of researcher observation in class V at SDI Darussalam Dungmas Kedungrejo, there are still some students who get and get low learning outcomes in SKI lessons in class V. The low student learning outcomes can be seen from the results of tests given by the teacher. Most of them are still the majority of students who still do not meet the minimum completeness criteria value (KKM). Of the KKM that have been determined by the school that is 80 there are still many students who get grades below the KKM requirements. The average value of students obtained at the time of daily tests and the value of assignments is only 70, even the majority of students still get and get a value of 60-50. From the results of Classroom Action Research (CAR) student learning outcomes can be higher than good in SKI learning, so students are able to achieve the KKM value, the value obtained by students from learning outcomes in the pre-cycle is (63.75) and cycle I has reached ( 75) and can be increased in cycle II to (90) it can show the use of audio-visual media can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the productivity of elementary school teachers, especially UMG PGSD alumni in terms of writing scientific papers. As a young teacher, the enthusiasm for innovation should be motivated and facilitated so that young teachers who have entered the field, increasingly increasing their productivity and creativity. In order to become a teacher, it is not just about teaching material, but also research missions and innovators. In accommodating creativity and channeling the results of research in the form of scientific work, we from the PGSD undergraduate lecturer team are devoted to young teachers so that the research they have done is published. This community service activity is in the form of training in writing scientific papers in the form of scientific articles to publishing (publishing) scientific articles through online journals. The series of activities include, 1) Preparation, by preparing good KTI materials, 2) writing, by starting to write, guiding participants to learn and understand KTI, 3) Editing, by improving grammar, material substance and others, 4) Publications, KTI that has been revised is published in scientific journals, 5) the monitoring and evaluation stage, which is the stage for describing the revised KTI results to peers. The target outputs to be achieved are 1) Scientific Papers that have been compiled and revised are uploaded in online and print journals, at least national journals, 2) Add insight for teachers about national journals, 3) teach teachers to be more skilled in preparing scientific papers. The results of this activity are in the form of consultation articles, for teachers who already have a research article and feed back in the form of responses via Instagram with PGSD hashtag (#pgsdumg). The three teachers are Amelia Razanah from SDN Tlogopatut, Ika Lufianah from SDN Randuagung 2 and Fatma hajar Islamiyah from GKB HR 2. The articles owned will be published in journals managed by PGSD study programs namely JTIEE at a volume that will be determined by the journal manager. The expectation of the participants was that this kind of training was carried out routinely every semester in order to support the productivity and acquisition of functional teacher positions for career advancement.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to increase interest and achievement in mathematics learning of class X AKL 2 SMK Negeri 2 Pacitan after participating in online learning with the Problem Based Learning model. This classroom action research was conducted in 3 cycles, each of which consisted of one meeting. Each cycle consists of four steps, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of students' interest in learning scores in the pre-cycle was 68% with low qualifications, increased in cycle I by 77% with high qualifications, cycle II by 81% with high qualifications, and cycle III by 83% with high qualifications. Meanwhile, the learning achievement of students showed an average pre-cycle score of 64 with the percentage of students completing learning by 32%, increasing in cycle I by 79 with the percentage of students completing learning by 71%, cycle II of 79 with the percentage of students completing learning by 81%, and cycle III was 81 with the percentage of students completing learning by 90%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the indicators of success of this study are fulfilled and the application of the Problem Based Learning model in online learning can increase students' interest and learning achievement.
