The characteristics of the respondents analyzed in this study were based on age and occupation. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results showed that the t value of cultural variables was 3.446 with a significant level of 0.002. Because 3.446 > 2.051 and 0.002 < 0.05, the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that the cultural variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. While the t value of the lifestyle variable (X2) is 2.537 with a significant level of 0.017. Because 2.537 > 2.051 and 0.017 < 0.05, the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that lifestyle variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The simultaneous test results show that the cultural variables (X1) and lifestyle (X2) together have a positive effect on purchasing decisions (Y) as evidenced by the calculated F value of 17.055 with a significant level of 0.000, where F count > F table (17.055 > 3.35) with a significance level less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05).

The results showed that from the results of statistical data analysis and the results of Ftable where, Fcount (354.925 ) > Ftable (3.17) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, this proves that together or simultaneously there is a significant effect of ability and work motivation . While the results of the t test or partial, the test results obtained the t value for the X1 variable (workability) obtained the Sig value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the tcount (8.041) > ttable value (2.00665) indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted means that there is a partially significant effect between work ability (X1) on performance (Y). Variable X2 (work motivation) obtained Sig value 0.000 < 0.05 and tcount value (6.235) > ttable value (2.00665) indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted meaning that there is a significant influence between work motivation (X2) on performance (Y). the value of R Square is 0.932 which indicates that ability (X1) and motivation (X2) simultaneously affect the performance (Y) of the State Civil Apparatus at the Regional Inspectorate of Sidrap Regency by 0.932 or (93.2%).

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the effect of compensation on the performance of the state civil apparatus at the Central Bureau of Statistics of Barru Regency. (2) to determine the effect of work discipline on the performance of the state civil apparatus at the Central Bureau of Statistics of Barru Regency. (3) to determine the effect of compensation and work discipline together on the performance of the state civil apparatus at the Central Bureau of Statistics of Barru Regency. Data collection techniques in this study are the method of observation, interviews, and literature study. In this study, the population is the entire State Civil Apparatus (SCA) of the Central Statistics Agency office, totaling 32 people. In order for this study to provide generalizations with a very small error rate, and considering that the population is only 32 people, this research uses a sampling technique, namely saturated sampling (census). Thus the number of samples in this study were 32 people. The results of the study show that (1) Compensation partially affects the performance of the state civil apparatus at the Barru Central Bureau of Statistics. Where the results obtained by compensation have a tcount value of 6.121 > ttable. 1.6973 and the significance level of t is less than 0.05 (sig = 0.005 < 0.05). (2). Work discipline has a partial effect on the performance of the state civil apparatus at the Barru Central Bureau of Statistics. Where the results obtained by work discipline have a t arithmetic value of 3.794 > t table 1.6973 and the significance level of t is less than 0.05 (sig = 0.000 < 0.05). (3). Compensation and work discipline simultaneously (simultaneously) affect the performance of the state civil apparatus at the Barru Central Bureau of Statistics. It can be seen that compensation and work discipline give a calculated Fvalue of 75.818 which is greater than the Ftable, which is 3.29 with a probability value of 0.000 which means it is below the significance value of 0.05.
