Abstract

This research has done at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Pringsurat. The aims of the research are to know how is student reading interest, the efforts for improving student reading interest, to find out supported factors ad unsupported factors on students’ reading interest. The method of the research is Mix Method. The kind of the research is Survey research. The subjects and the populations of he research are high grade students (IV, V and VI) and it is consist of 60 the object of the research is students’ reading interest. The technique of the research are: indirect communication, direct communication, direct obsevation and study documentation. The instruments of collecting data are questionnaire, interview, observation and documentation. After analyzing of the thesis, the result shows that percentage students’ reading interst is 80%, furthermore, it is known that supporting factors of student’s interest of reading are student awareness display tools, methodes used, good situation and supporting environtmen. Mean while the obstacles are the teacher does not know what student’s want is, lack of facilities and the teacher does not master the methode that appropriate with student’s want, moreover to improve student’s interest of reading it needs some efforts like develop student’s happiness toward the passage so that obligation but, because reading is their hobby and give the understanding to student’s that reading is important. It can said that tudents’ reading interest at S ekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Pringsurat are good and very strong. Keywords: Students’ Reading Interest

Abstract

The low level of students' reading ability has an impact on students' difficulty in understanding reading. The current phenomenon of students' reading comprehension is still low. Basically, students have difficulty understanding the content of the reading such as: 1) students have difficulty in answering questions. 2) students find it difficult to find the main idea. 3) students find it difficult to make a summary of the text read. This study explains the results of the application of the CIRC learning method to students' reading comprehension skills. This research uses qualitative methods obtained from literature studies. According to a literature review from relevant journals, it was obtained that the application of the CIRC method succeeded in improving students' reading comprehension skills in elementary school. Abstract

This study aims to determine the educational values ​​of the folklore of the archipelago, especially the story of Bujang Kurap. This research is a qualitative research by applying descriptive method in the process. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis conducted on the Bujang Kurap folklore, there are educational values ​​that can be used as motivation for students to improve the moral values ​​and behavior of students today. The story of Bujang Kurap has educational values, such as: 1) Patience; 2) Respect between fellow human beings; 3) Keep every promise that has been made; 4) there will be reciprocity of what every human being does. Abstract

The use of local wisdom as a learning tool can motivate and foster an attitude of nationalism in students, so it is necessary to develop learning facilities from the use of local wisdom. This study aims to determine the potential of the Ponorogo peacock creation dance as a means of student learning about demonstrating daily and natural movements in dance by paying attention to the values ​​contained in the Ponorogo peacock dance, and its suitability with the characteristics of second grade elementary school students. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used were observations of the Ponorogo peacock dance, interviews with dance creators and elementary school teachers, and literature review. The results of this study indicate that the Ponorogo peacock dance has the potential as a means of learning daily and natural movements in dance for second grade elementary school students. Ponorogo peacock dance as a local wisdom of Ponorogo Regency describes the behavior of peacocks in accordance with the learning theme in grade II elementary school, namely about the environment. There are various local wisdoms from Ponorogo Regency that can be used as a learning tool for students. This research has implications for the means of learning dance in elementary schools. Abstract

This research was conducted because it saw the social studies learning outcomes of fourth graders at SD Negeri Sukadana which were still low. This study aims to determine the completeness of students' social studies learning outcomes through numbered heads together (NHT) cooperative learning. From the data analysis of student learning outcomes before and after the NHT cooperative learning model was applied, the scores before the NHT cooperative learning model was applied were 100% incomplete. After applying the NHT cooperative learning model, the completeness of the social studies subject learning outcomes were 19 students who completed or 95% and 1 student who did not complete 5%. The data were analyzed using the z-test formula. based on the results of the data analysis test with a confidence level of = 5%, it shows Z_count = 6.42 and Z_(table) = 1.64. Because Z_count > Z_(table ). With that it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of class IV social studies subjects at SD Negeri Sukadana after the application of the numbered head together (NHT) learning model to the learning outcomes of class IV social studies subjects at SD Negeri Sukadana were significantly completed. Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ learning difficulties in the Indonesian language learning process at the Elementary School and to explore the factors that cause learning difficulties Indonesian in Elementary School. This study uses a kualitattive research design with case studies. The subjects in this study were students of Elementary School. The data collection techniques used in this study are Observation and Interview. Analysis techniques using miles and huberman models are reduction, display, and verification. The result of this study is that there are internal and external factors of students in learning Indonesian, especially in students' reading learning materials. The internal factor is the lack of motivation and interest in reading from the student itself, students are still not motivated in following the indonesian language learning process and students' interest in learning Indonesian is still lacking. The external factors are first: the lack of creativity of the teacher in the learning process takes place, so that it makes students saturated and less pleasant in following the learning process Indonesian, then the methods used by teachers are also not varied and less attractive to students. Second: parents' lack of attention and encouragement towards a child's learning achievement, especially in the process of learning to read. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted in Elementary School it can be concluded that there so many students who are still having difficulties in the process of learning to read. Abstract

This study aims to describe some of the errors in the use of the Indonesian language that were made to the sixth graders of SD Suka Cita. This research uses a descriptive research type, where the source of the data obtained is from discussion activities during class VI SD Suka Cita students. The instrument used in this study is to use observation sheets and tape recorders. The analysis technique used to analyze the Indonesian language error data is a qualitative data analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that there are errors in the use of Indonesian including phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic errors in the discussion process carried out by elementary school students. Suggestions from this study, teachers can use the results of analysis regarding language errors made by students as material for learning reflection. Abstract

As a language skill, reading is a complex thing to master. A person's reading ability is passed through the stages of initial reading and advanced reading. Beginning reading is given to students I and II while continuing reading is given to students in grades III, IV, V, and VI. Beginning reading ability is the competency possessed by students in reciting symbols in a clear and precise voice. Therefore, beginning reading becomes something that is important for students to master before acquiring/learning advanced reading. Beginning reading mastery is strongly influenced by how the teacher is able to develop various approaches, methods and strategies used in teaching beginning reading. Abstract

Research on the Effect of Powtoon Animation-Based Digital Learning Media on Civics Learning Outcomes The material on rights and obligations of fourth grade students at SDN Cipayung 03 am aims to determine whether or not the effect of powtoon animation learning media on Civics learning outcomes. The method that the researcher uses is a quantitative experiment with a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test control group design. The sample in this study amounted to 64 students consisting of the experimental group, namely 32 students in class IV-A and the control group, namely 32 students in class IV-B. The results of the study show that there is a good effect of the powtoon animation learning media on PPKn learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the POWTOON animation learning media has an effect on improving student Civics learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the value > with a score of 3.753 > 1.699 so that this study can be said to have a significant influence on student learning outcomes. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a contextual-based labyrinth evaluation media for FPB and KPK materials in mathematics. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, where the author uses a 4D model as a support for this research which has four stages, namely: 1. Definition, 2. Design, 3. Development, 4 .Dessiminate. The development of this labyrinth media got results in the form of validation from two experts, both media and material experts. As well as getting results regarding student responses related to the maze as a learning evaluation medium. The results of the experts, both media and material experts, have the same score, namely 93%, which is categorized as very valid. As for the results of the students' responses, they got a score of 95% and got a very good category. It can be concluded that the contextual-based labyrinth evaluation media for FPB and KPK grade V SDS Juara West Jakarta is very valid for use in the mathematics learning process, especially in the evaluation process.
