Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between eye-hand coordination, agility and self-confidence with basketball dribbling skills. The research method used in this study is correlational. The object of this research is all Puragabaya / SMA / SMK students who take basketball extracurricular activities. The independent variable is eye-hand coordination (X1), agility (X2), and self-confidence (X3). While the dependent variable is the basketball dribbling skill (Y). The results of this study are: First, there is a positive and significant correlation between X1 and Y with a correlation coefficient of 0.76 and a determination index of 58.0%. Second, there is a positive and significant correlation between X2 and Y with a correlation coefficient of 0.81 and a determination index of 65.0%. Third, there is a positive and significant correlation between X3 and Y with a correlation coefficient of 0.73 and a determination index of 53.0%. Fourth, there is a positive and significant relationship between X1, X2 and X3 with Y, with a correlation coefficient of 0.83 and a determination index of 68.4%. It can be concluded that basketball dribbling skills can be improved by practicing eye-hand coordination, agility and self-confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of the level of motivation of students in extraordinary schools citeureup in following the Physical Education learning. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The population is all students with hearing impairment at SLB Citeureup with the sample used are 15 students with hearing impairment with a sampling technique using perposive sampling that is sampling as desired. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. Data analysis technique used is Descriptive statistics with Percentages. Based on research results show that the high and low frequency of student learning by 16.9%, the high and low length of student learning by 10.4%, the high and low need to know and learn an object by 16.7%, and environmental factors by 16, 7% shows that these factors are included in the less category, as well as the high and low factors of supporting attention in increasing student motivation by 39.3% which are categorized as sufficient. The results of this study can be concluded that the level of motivation of deaf students in learning Physical Education has the highest price of 39.3%. This shows that the learning motivation of physical education for deaf students in SLB Citeureup is in the category of Enough so that it needs to be improved again.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between wrist flexibility, eye-hand coordination, and confidence in basketball freethrow shooting skills. The research method used in this study is correlational. Samples were 28 students who took part in student activity units. The independent variables are wrist flexibility (X1), hand coordination (X2), and confidence (X3). While the dependent variable is shooting skills on basketball (Y). The results showed that first there was a significant relationship between X1 and Y, the correlation coefficient was 0.530 with a significance value of 0,000. Second, there was a significant relationship between X2 and Y, the correlation coefficient was 0.528 with a significance value of 0,000. Third, there is a significant relationship between X3 and Y, the correlation coefficient is 0.566 with a significance value of 0.0002. Fourth, there is a significant relationship between X1, X2, X3 together with Y, the correlation coefficient is 28.799 and 2.725 Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that wrist flexibility, eye-hand coordination, and self-confidence are significantly related to basketball freethrow shooting skills. For this reason, athletes must do exercises that can increase wrist flexibility, eye-hand coordination, and high confidence in order to improve basketball freethrow shooting skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in learning media for breaststroke swimming skills in swimming. The sample of this study consisted of 39 students majoring in Health and Recreation Physical Education, at STKIP Pasundan Cimahi. This research is an action research using a cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, evaluation and reflection. And the media used are noodle swimming and 1500 ml bottles. The results showed that (1) Overall the use of media was very helpful in learning to develop methods for breaststroke swimming skills. (2) There is an increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2 breaststroke swimming skills. (3) The use of noodle swimming and 1500 ml bottles, was successful because of increased breaststroke swimming skills. (4) The lack of learning media, can help add insight and methods of learning chest swimming

Abstract

This research is based on facts in the field regarding the current learning conditions of Physical Education, which have been reviewed in several forums by several observers of physical education. The learning methods used by many teachers tend to be traditional. The learning model used is still centered on the teacher (Teacher Centered), where students perform basic technical skills in a sport. This study aims to determine which learning models are good in Physical Education learning in schools. The independent variable in this study uses the Tactical Approach Learning Model and Traditional Approach. Dependent variables in this study are motivation, play skills and basic technical skills in basketball. The research method uses quantitative research methods with one group pre-post test design design, using experimental treatment of the sample. The sampling technique in this study uses random sampling with the return of samples to the population, because the population is large. The sample consisted of 80 people, each treatment group totaling 40 people. Data analysis in this study used multivariate data analysis using the SPSS program. The results of this study include: (1) There is no difference in motivation in playing basketball between the tactical approach learning model and the traditional approach learning model. (2) There are significant differences in basketball playing skills between the tactical approach learning model and the traditional approach learning model. (3) There are significant differences in basic technical skills in basketball between the tactical approach learning model and the traditional approach learning model.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the difference between intensive interval training methods and extensive interval methods to improve the basic skills of football dribbling; (2) To find out the interaction of the interval training method with the ability of agility to improve soccer dirbling skills; (3) To know the effect of the intensive interval training method with the extensive interval method on the group of high agility abilities on improving the basic skills of football dribbling; (4) To determine the effect of the intensive interval training method with the intensive interval method on the low agility ability on improving basic soccer dribbling skills. The method used in this study was an experiment with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The population was 46 people and a sample of 24 people in Propel Soccer School. The results showed that the intensive interval method was better than the extensive interval method described in hypothesis I (F = 5.554. P-value = 0.029 <0.050). There was no interaction with the interval training method with the ability of agility to improve football's dirbbling skills for hypothesis II (F = 0.906. P-value = 0.353> 0.050). The conclusions of the results of this study are: (1) The intensive interval training method has a better effect than the extensive interval method on improving the basic skills of football dribbling; (2) There is no interaction with the interval training method with the ability of agility to improve soccer dirbling skills; (3) The effect of the intensive interval training method is better than the extensive interval method in the group of high agility abilities on improving basic soccer dribbling skills; (4) The effect of the extensive interval training method is better than the intensive interval method on the low agility ability on improving the basic skills of football dribbling.

Abstract

In this study the authors sought one form of test that has a relationship with short-distance running speeds of 400 meters. One form of test that is predicted to have a relationship to 400 meters running speed is the Harvard step up test. The test aims to measure the level of efficiency of heart, lung function, and endurance of leg muscles. This is when associated with 400 meters running speed has a significant relationship, because when performing 400 meters running, the leg muscles must have endurance speed and also supported by maximum pulmonary heart work. Based on this explanation, the writer is interested in proving it through a research process that will be tried on junior high school male students. The author formulates the problem, namely how much is the relationship between the ability of students to do the Harvard test on the running speed of 400 meters. The research hypothesis was formulated that the Harvard test had a significant relationship to 400 meters running speed. To prove this hypothesis, the author uses the descriptive method of Population and the sample used as the unit of analysis is all male students of class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Tanjungsari, amounting to 143 people. Samples were taken as many as 30 students. The instrument used in the form of a Harvard step up test and 400 meters run test. Referring to the results of the data processing of the results of tests conducted in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Tanjungsari, conclusions can be drawn as follows: (1) Harvard test has a significant relationship to the speed of running distance of 400 meters in male students of class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Tanjungsari. This is proven by testing the hypothesis by comparing the value of t arithmetic with t table, where t arithmetic> t table = 8,491> 2.763, so that the hypothesis testing shows significant results. (2) The magnitude of the correlation coefficient between the ability of Harvard tests with the results of a 400-meter run test, the correlation (r) shows the value of 0.85, so that the magnitude of the coefficient of determination (KD) is 72.25%. Thus the null hypothesis is rejected (H0) and the research hypothesis is accepted (Ha)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of plyometric training using boxes on the long jump achievement of students at STKIP Pasundan. The research method used to uncover these problems through the experimental method with pre-test design and post-test design. The sample of this study was 20 students from PJKR STKIP Pasundan Cimahi who participated in the Athletic UKM activities in STKIP Pasundan Cimahi. The study was conducted 3 meetings each week for 6 weeks. The instrument used is the long jump test which has been tested for validity and reliability. The data obtained were processed using the T-Paired test. The results of the study revealed that there was a difference in effect between plyometric training programs using boxes and plyometric exercises that did not use boxes. Plyometric exercises using boxes have a more significant effect compared to plyometric exercises without using boxes on long jump achievements

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tactical approach models and cooperative learning models on the amount of active learning time (JWAB) students in learning basketball games. The research method used is the experimental method. The population in this study were 300 students and a sample of 40 students. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The research design uses one group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument in this study used the physical teaching performance assessment instrument. Raw data shows an average difference between the tactical approach model group and the cooperative learning model group to the amount of active learning time. The results of data processing and hypothesis testing show an increase in the amount of active learning time for students of SMP Negeri 1 Plered. From the results of data processing and analysis, it can be concluded that the tactical approach model gives a more significant effect compared to the cooperative learning model on the amount of active learning time in Plered 1 Junior High School.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of traditional games and conventional learning in physical education learning in elementary schools on the development of basic motion and self esteem. The research method uses an experimental method with Randomize Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research is grade IV students of Garuda Bandung Elementary School consisting of five classes A, B, C, D and E. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling with random selection that is selecting from five classes A, B, C, D and E and obtained two Classes are Class C and D, then random assignment is carried out so that the experimental group class is D class and the control group is Class C with each class there are 30 research samples. The instrument in this study used motor abilities and self esteem questionnaires. The results show that, 1) There is a significant influence of traditional games in Physical Education learning in elementary schools on the development of basic motion; 2) There is a significant influence of traditional games in the learning of Physical Education in elementary school on the development of self esteem; 3) There is a significant influence of conventional learning in physical education learning in elementary schools on the development of basic motion; 4) There is a significant influence of conventional learning in physical education learning in elementary schools on the development of self esteem; 5) There is a difference in the influence of traditional games with conventional learning in physical education learning in elementary schools on the development of basic motion and self esteem.
