Abstract

The residents of Lendang Guar hamlet are residents who are very difficult to access from the West Lombok Regency Highway to get to other places, this position is very difficult to reach by local transportation so social understanding is very closed. This is necessary sharpening insights regarding Hinduism actually needs to be recalled so that there are no deviations from the teachings of Hinduism. Going down directly to the hamlet is carried out continuously to produce what is expected by all levels of society to maintain inter- and inter-religious harmony. The results that are felt and obtained by the community with this community service program are changes in life expectancy or life status that are confined to the surrounding area, now an understanding of inter- and inter-religious tolerance has been gained. What is even more special is the belief that the sons and daughters of the regions have the opportunity to pursue education up to tertiary institutions to graduate postgraduate. The implementation of community service has been carried out and received a welcome and understanding of the essence of the teachings of Hinduism with direct verbal communication.

Abstract

Hypertension-related cognitive impairment has a wide spectrum, ranging from mild cognitive impairment to severe cognitive impairment in hypertensive individuals. Hypertension is currently also known as a risk factor for Alzheimer's dementia and vascular dementia. In its severe form, cognitively impaired individuals will have a high dependence on family members to carry out their daily activities. This community service event aims to increase the understanding of the residents of Maringkik Island Village regarding ​​the importance of prevention and early detection of hypertension-related cognitive impairment. This event was carried out in Pulau Maringkik Village, East Lombok Regency, which is a representative of a coastal area whose population generally has a high level of consumption of sodium salt. This community service activity is carried out in 3 forms of activities, including health education, screening of hypertension, and early detection of cognitive impairment in hypertensive participants. This health education event was attended by 53 participants. Of these, 29 participants (54.7%) were hypertensive. In early detection of cognitive dysfunction, of the 29 hypertensive participants, 19 of them (65.5%) were categorized as having impaired cognitive function. Thus, in this community service events, health education activity, screening of hypertension, and early detection of hypertension-related cognitive impairment are successfully done. The frequency of residents of Maringkik Island Village with hypertension and hypertension-related cognitive impairment is quite high. Promotive efforts to change high-sodium salt consumption habits need to be carried out on an ongoing basis with an educational strategy that is adjusted to the education level of the participants.

Abstract

Tuing Village is a village in Bangka Regency which is famous for its natural products in the form of sea fish. Currently, sea fish caught by the people of Tuing Village are processed into processed foods such as fish balls, pempek, and salted fish. However, the problem is that the people of Tuing Village have not properly packaged their processed marine fish products. In addition, their products have not been marketed to other areas in Bangka district. Therefore, we think it is important to provide knowledge about improving product quality and digital marketing training to the people of Tuing Village. The implementation of improving the quality of packaging and digital marketing training uses two stages, namely the preparation and implementation stages of activities. The stages of implementing the activity are divided into two, namely socialization and training activities. Results: The people of Tuing Village can understand the importance of improving the quality of packaging for their processed products. This important information is obtained as long as they participate in the socialization and training that we provide regarding the importance of the quality of product packaging to the durability of the product inside. Apart from that, the people of Tuing Village also understand the importance of marketing through digital marketing to reach more potential consumers, especially in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Conclusion: The conclusion of this activity is: increasing the skills of the Tuing village community in the form of using digital marketing and improving the quality of product packaging.

Abstract

Gentong Village is a village located in Paron District, Ngawi Regency. In preparing a transparent, accountable, participatory, orderly and targeted Village Government Work Plan (RKP Desa), a mature thought process is needed. The innovation needed is the lack of good governance and the lack of readiness of Human Resources to understand development planning, computers, and information technology. The program ‘’Si Pemadam Tolak Api’’ is a training and assistance related to the preparation of local governance-based RKP Desa to contribute to SDGs. This program provides literacy by conducting focus group discussions on obstacles in the preparation of RKP and providing understanding related to Local Governance. The main purpose of this community service activity is to encourage awareness, initiative, and participation from the people of Gentong Village in order to achieve becoming an independent village that can act as a subject of sustainable development. The result of this program is understanding and building the commitment of village governments in realizing the effectiveness of village governance, improving the quality of village governance and increasing village competitiveness to contribute to sustainable development. This program is implemented continuously to ensure the implementation of the program runs well to achieve good local governance. The program ‘’Si Pemadam Tolak Api’’ is a solution provided for the development of human resources from the village apparatus and needs to be carried out annually so that village officials in compiling RKP and RPJM are in accordance with applicable regulations in Indonesia and it is hoped that the development process in Gentong Village can run synergistically. This program is implemented continuously to ensure the implementation of the program runs well to achieve good local governance.

Abstract

Hypertension, which is widely known as high blood pressure, is still a health challenge in the post-Covid-19 era. The stress and anxiety associated with a pandemic can directly increase the risk of hypertension. As a silent killer, hypertension is often asymptomatic. Plus an instant lifestyle, lack of physical activity (sedentary lifestyle), stress, working from home, mental health disorders and chronic anxiety. This community service aims to make health efforts in the prevention and control of hypertension through increasing public knowledge about the importance of healthy living behavior in preventing and controlling hypertension. This community service method is a series of interventions in the form of health efforts including the Community Rukun Warga (MMRW) Consultation, counseling on prevention of hypertension control, Smart Quiz Competition for Smart Edges of Hypertension, obedience training in Independent Blood Pressure Control with a digital sphygmomanometer, special exercises for hypertension and installation of posters at the Community Health Center, Poskesdes, Posyandu and the Cihanyir Village Multipurpose Center. After participating in a series of intervention activities in community service related to the prevention and control of hypertension, it was found that all residents of RW 03 Cihangir had good knowledge (100%). In carrying out the community service, the residents of RW 03 Cihanyir are very enthusiastic and respond to every activity carried out. Achievement of all series of health efforts in community service related to hypertension prevention through increasing public knowledge about the importance of healthy living behavior in preventing and controlling hypertension. The need for follow-up through cross-sector and cross-program collaboration under the guidance and guidance of the Cihanyir Health Center.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on dealing with partner problems, namely junior high school teachers at YP Nurul Fadhilah. The problems faced are the lack of application of material-based practicum around and teachers’ lack of knowledge and skills regarding making practicum innovations a source of online learning. A teacher is required to be able to adapt to the development of science and technology during the industrial revolution 4.0, therefore additional activities are needed to make this happen. This activity aims to increase teacher knowledge and skills in applying material-based practicum around to become an online learning resource. The method used consists of 4 stages, namely: Socialization of the introduction of practicum from nearby materials, training on making practicum into an online learning resource and assistance in the implementation of making online learning resources and evaluating results. Executors provide tools and materials, while partners prepare laptops for application training. The results obtained from this activity were that the teachers experienced improvements both in terms of knowledge and skills. Quantitatively, the teacher's ability regarding practical knowledge from surrounding materials to online learning materials increased for science teachers with an average score of 83.3 and non-science teachers with an average score of 66.43. In addition to increasing knowledge and skills, partners also produce products, namely online learning resources in the form of videos. In general, partners have produced products in good condition. Conclusion: This PKM activity increases partners' knowledge of using local materials. This activity also adds to teachers' skills in creating online learning resources.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum through strengthening the Pancasila profile project at the primary and secondary education levels is a valuable breakthrough to strengthen the competence of the nation's students. This implementation needs to be supported by strengthening teacher skills and their ability to manage the learning process. Entrepreneurship turns out to have a positive impact in accommodating the Merdeka Curriculum through creativity and innovation that connect each other. The community service program at ABC Foundation (pseudonym) by strengthening teacher entrepreneurship skills through product prototype training provides evidence that entrepreneurial initiatives can stimulate teacher creativity to create creative products. Through this program, it is hoped that teachers will be inspired to design more creative entrepreneurship-oriented learning models so that they can encourage the realization of the Merdeka Curriculum in a more comprehensive manner.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic situation affected the state of the economy, many companies were "laying off" their workers to cover losses. This situation underlies the establishment of the Chessy Local Bag UMKM in Tegal Waru District, Bogor Regency. Based on the results of interviews with Chessy Local Bag Craftsmen MSME owners that there have been problems so far using conventional marketing. This resulted in marketing that was carried out less than optimally so that the products sold experienced stagnation and even delays. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of employees at UMKM Chessy Local Bags using Digital Marketing. The implementation method uses a qualitative approach. Activities are divided into six stages, namely; preparation, data collection, implementation, evaluation, preparation of results, and reporting of implementation results. The data collection techniques used are: interviews, questionnaires, observation and literature study. As for the survey results on the activity, namely that there were 66.67% of respondents who did not understand digital marketing at all after attending the training, they understood, 100% of respondents said that digital marketing training carried out in this activity could increase understanding. There are several types of digital marketing that have been explained and 100% of respondents are most comfortable using the marketplace to market their products because it can affect sales. The implementation of community service went smoothly, the participants enthusiastically participated in the series of activities until they were finished. Participants hope that more training will be held with different topics for Chessy Local Tas UMKM employees. The conclusion from this activity is that the training carried out can increase the knowledge and skills of Chessy Local Tas UMKM employees to use Digital Marketing.

Abstract

The role of information technology in the preparation of the question bank at this time is really needed and required. Considering that in the current era technology has become the main subject in various activities. Technology can facilitate the implementation of literacy and numeracy-based learning and evaluation processes. The ability of teachers in mastering technology, especially in preparing literacy and numeracy-based question banks, is currently an obstacle experienced by the Belinyu National Education Foundation (YPN). Teachers are required to have understanding and ability to integrate technology in the learning process. This activity aims to provide training to teachers in compiling literacy and numeracy-based question banks by utilizing Wordwall and Kahoot technology. This technology is a game-based learning media. The method used in this service is lecture and practice. Presentation of literacy and numeracy-based material is presented first so that teachers get an understanding of the material. After that, the Wordwall and Kahoot technology materials were immediately practiced on each teacher's computer. Based on the results of the activities through simulations and practice, there is a difference between before the material is delivered and after the material is delivered. This can be seen from the results of the pre-test (45%) where respondents answered that they did not often use technology in compiling the question bank and the results of the post-test (65%) showed that respondents agreed and were interested in the training. The teachers are starting to be interested in game-based Wordwall and Kahoot technologies as described. In addition, teachers can also directly create literacy and numeracy-based questions which are then presented in Wordwall and Kahoot media. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, Wordwall and Kahoot are learning innovations that can be applied in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Risky sexual behavior is common among teenagers in Tosari, Pasuruan, and is caused by lack of access to reproductive health knowledge. Data from primary health care stated that 60% of mothers who had children under five married at too-young age of 15-19 years. However, Tosari has an active and routine Youth Integrated Health Post or Posyandu Remaja (PR). PR is a community-based youth health service that can potentially increase access to reproductive health services for youth around PR. During the development period, youth needs to prevent risks, including risky sexual behavior, as described in the Positive Youth Development (PYD) framework. Therefore, a reproductive health education modul was developed using the PYD framework. Modul was delivered to PR cadres and members in Tosari using modules compiled through literature studies and assessments from experts and stakeholders. After that, attitudes and knowledge were measured through pre-test and post-test. The results showed a significant change in knowledge and attitudes among participants after following the education program (p < 0.001, effect size 0.649). This module and educational model are expected to improve and help youths to face challenges during the development period so that risky sexual behavior can be avoided.
