Abstract

Good Processed Food Production Method (GPPOB) is one of the important factors to meet the food safety standards that are produced and to ensure that the resulting products are of good quality and are safe. Food safety requirements are very important to be able to prevent food from physical, chemical and other biological contaminants that can disturb, harm and endanger public health. The purpose of the assistance is to increase empathy and concern for MSMEs in preparing the requirements and application of CPPOB to fulfill BPOM distribution permits for MSMEs in Taganang, Balikpapan City. The methods used are 1) Carrying out observations and interviews, which are techniques that are carried out directly on the object of research, namely CPPOB, 2) Providing assistance in implementing aspects of CPPOB, namely methods that can provide assistance and guide MSMEs in improving the implementation of CPPOB and 3) carry out monitoring and evaluation, namely knowing the final condition of MSMEs after implementing CPPOB. The results of the assistance to the Taganang MSMEs for the initial condition assessment found 14 aspects that had not been implemented, with a score of 70 or included in a C rating (Less), after the assistance was carried out to improve production facilities, an increase in the CPPOB aspect obtained a score of 111 included in rating B (Good ). This shows that Taganang MSMEs have fulfilled the requirements for implementing the CPPOB aspects. UMKM Taganang has shown good changes in the implementation of CPPOB aspects.

Abstract

Presak Village, Batu Kliang sub-district, Central Lombok has the potential for sustainable agriculture, farming, and a tourism spot that can be developed, but the people have a middle to lower economic level. This is due to the lack of information regarding the utilization of organic waste as fertilizer by farmers amidst the lack of even distribution of fertilizers, then the lack of utilization of natural resources and tourism management which concerns the interests of the surrounding community. Therefore, the Village Community Empowerment Real Work Lecture (KKN) group is motivated to educate the community in making solid organic fertilizer by utilizing the biogas system to help and be utilized by farmers who can later help reduce the use of chemical fertilizers through several KKN programs, so that they can increase community economy. Abstract

Shallot farmers from Brang Kolong Village, Sumbawa Regency, have been cultivating shallots from bulbs. The main problem faced by farmers is the decreased productivity of shallots even though the planting area has increased from year to year. With an increase in the area for planting shallots, automatically the need for seeds from tubers will also increase. Therefore, cultivating shallots other than bulbs is very much needed, one of which can be achieved by planting shallots from seeds or what is known as TSS (True Shallot Seeds). ). Other problems faced by partners are high postharvest weight losses, and also the size of shallot bulbs that do not vary. This affects the selling value of shallots in the market. Therefore, training and assistance is carried out on shallot cultivation through the TSS method, good postharvest handling and processing of low grade shallot yields to become onion chili paste and crispy fried shallots. The stages of community empowerment include the preparation stage, FGD socialization of work programs with partners, training and technical assistance for shallot cultivation using the TSS method, post-harvest training and new product development from rejected onion bulbs. Abstract

Darmajaya Society Center (DSC) is one of the campus canteens located at the Darmajaya Institute of Informatics and Business (IIB Darmajaya). The results of observations made by the service team show an urgency for the implementation of science and technology where the business processes carried out by MSMEs related to recording, ordering and payment systems are still carried out manually. Another problem is that there has been a quite drastic decline in the sales turnover of canteen tenants or DSC MSMEs since the Covid 19 pandemic. The aim of this community service activity is to provide education to MSME players related to digitalization in terms of marketing and finance so that MSME players are able to use developing their business in a digital direction as a effort to increase sales. The activity implementation method used in MSME service activities at DSC is through the active participation method. The active participation method is a method of training and mentoring by identifying problems faced by partners. The results of the service activities carried out are in the form of increased understanding and knowledge of tenants or MSME actors as measured through pretests and posttests for each activity. The results of digital marketing and financial literacy training activities were obtained based on the posttest results of participants reaching an average score of 80% when compared with the average answer of participants in the pretest activity which only reached 40%. Abstract

Jeruju Besar Village, which is located in Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, has several plantation and agricultural products that are potentially feasible for further development. One of the interesting plantation products is coconut. After conducting a survey, it was found that residents of Jeruju Besar Village only sell whole coconuts or only process them into coconut milk, while the coconut pulp that has been squeezed is simply thrown away. The discarded coconut dregs are buried next to residents' houses, causing an unpleasant odor for quite a long time. Based on these conditions, the team then had the idea to make a coconut pulp flour machine to develop village community UMKM so that villages could market coconut products more broadly. Through the community service program, this activity also aims to change the traditional view of coconut dregs into a valuable resource through processing using a Smoothing Flour machine. This processing produces value-added products, such as powders and organic fertilizers. Through collaboration with the government, community organizations and activity partners, the people of Jeruju Besar Village are empowered with new knowledge and skills in processing coconut pulp and operating flour machines. The resulting positive impacts include increasing people's income, increasing welfare, reducing organic waste, and changing people's views of coconut dregs. This activity also provides sustainable economic, environmental and social benefits and produces sustainable positive changes in environmental, economic, social and educational aspects in Jeruju Besar Village great and the surroundings.
