Abstract

Panjer village has 30 jaje offering business units (ceremonies). The objectives of the Beginner Community Empowerment activities are described as follows: (1) Availability of jaje uli & begine dryers as an effort to increase production; (2) Availability of slicing tools to increase jaje uli production; (3) Partners have knowledge and skills in product packaging; (4) Partners have knowledge and skills in product innovation; (5) Partners have knowledge and skills in using social media as promotional media. The methods used to increase production and marketing of the Jaje Uli and Begina businesses in Panjer Village are counseling, training and mentoring. Solutions to problems faced by partners are carried out through training and mentoring that uses science and technology according to the priorities and targets of Empowering Beginner Communities covering production and marketing aspects. During holidays, orders can reach 10,000 pieces in 2 days, due to limited production equipment, so only 5,000 can be fulfilled during the summer, but during the rainy season, they cannot fulfill them because there is no production. With a slicing machine, businesses produce 6 kg which takes 6-10 hours if they are not focused and with a slicing machine they can finish it in just 3 hours. 1kg produces 200pcs of jaje so 6kg will produce 1,200pcs. By carrying out technological innovations in production, product innovation and marketing content creation in order to be competitive, not only within the region but also outside the Panjer Village area.

Abstract

Sota's potential as a livestock center is good for development, especially for cattle. However, until now agricultural and plantation waste (palm oilcake) has not been used by breeders as a source of good nutritional feed for cattle. Therefore, the aim of this training is to improve the skills of farmers in making fermented feed and pellets for cattle. The method used is interviews, assistance to farmers in the form of training in making fermented feed and pellets. The result of the implementation of cattle feed production is that it is easier for breeders of productive age to understand and carry out the process of making fermented feed and pellets. Farmers prefer fermented feed as fattening feed compared to pelleted feed which is 87.6% versus 12.4%. The results of the feed making training showed that the level of understanding and mastery before and after the training increased. The conclusion in this service is that most community groups are of productive age, and prefer the process of making fermented feed, as well as having a positive impact on improving the skills of breeders.

Abstract

Learning media is a supporting component in the teaching process, especially biology. Learning media helps teachers explain material that is complicated and difficult to present in class. Many alternative learning media are available today, starting from original media which can come from the sea, forests, gardens and places around the school. Currently, there is modern technology, namely 3D printing. This technology is believed to be able to help teachers create biology learning media independently. The purpose of this activity is to share information about modern biology learning media that is based on 3D printing. This training activity method uses lecture techniques, and direct demonstrations. This activity began with observation, training in making 3D printing biological media, and training in implementing biological media in schools. The result of this activity was an increase in partners' knowledge about 3D printing machines from 12.5% to 87.5%. There was an increase in partners' knowledge of HKI management from 18.75% to 87.5%. There was an increase in partners' knowledge of 3D printing media models from 6.25% to 93.75%. There was an increase in partners' knowledge about cura ultimaker material 0% to 81.25%. There was an increase in partners' knowledge of media coloring techniques from 37.5% to 100%. The conclusion from this activity is that based on the results of distributing the questionnaire, it was found that there was an increase in partners' knowledge and skills regarding 3D printing as a learning medium from 15% to 90%.

Abstract

Women have an important role in their position in household life, but this is often used as the main cause of women having limitations in other fields such as the economy, education and even politics. Kedah State is one of the areas in Malaysia which is the location for international scale community service activities. This activity was held to see how far the role of women's empowerment is involved in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals on poverty. For this reason, this community service activity will provide a solution for the Kedah community with the aim of providing knowledge to partners regarding women's empowerment in increasing economic, social and cultural values ​​and efforts that can be made to increase it. The method used in this community service is through socialization, delivery of material and discussion, and answer directly to the community. The results obtained from this activity are the lower ability of women than men, the existence of cultural involvement in society and the lack of functioning of the role of local community institutions. Community service activities carried out in the form of outreach to women's groups in Kampung Singkir Kedah Malaysia were able to provide knowledge and understanding of the importance of women's role in improving the family economy by improving self-quality through good social interaction and education.

Abstract

Professional teachers are teachers who have pedagogical, personality, professional and social competencies. One of the pedagogical abilities that teachers must have is being able to utilize technology for learning implementation. In today's digital era, teachers must be able to become technology literate teachers, in order to create a more interesting and interactive learning atmosphere. This must also be owned by teachers in the Al Ikhlas PPM education unit which will then become partners. Based on the purpose of implementing this activity is to increase partner knowledge in using technology in learning. In addition, it will also improve partner skills in using Quizizz as an interactive learning media. The method used is through training, mentoring and mentoring which is integrated in workshop activities. This method was chosen to provide opportunities for teachers to participate directly in applying and creating interactive media. The stages in this activity are material delivery, training and mentoring. The results of the activity show that teachers have been able to use Quizizz in making simple interactive media. This is indicated by the training participants already having accounts and material topics created in each Quizizz account. In addition, the participants also knew how to conduct learning evaluation activities through giving interactive quizzes to students using QR. Based on the aspects of knowledge and skills of trainees related to the use of Quizizz before the training activities were carried out, the average was 47.67% only. Then after the training activities took place and were re-evaluated through the administration of the posttest, an increase in the aspects of knowledge and skills in using Quizizz was an average of 77.76%. Participants have been able to create interactive learning media based on Quizizz. In addition, this activity is very helpful for teachers in supporting their competence.

Abstract

Desa Wisata Nyarai in Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra, is a tourist destination that has natural beauty and interesting cultural wealth to explore. However, Desa Wisata Nyarai has not been able to optimally promote its potential so that tourist visits are still relatively low. Therefore, the development of innovative branding and promotion needs to be done to introduce Des to potential tourists. This lecturer service aims to develop the branding and promotion of the Desa Wisata Nyarai through making attractive and innovative promotional videos. The promotional video showcases the beauty and diversity of Desa Wisata Nyarai, as well as introduces the superior products owned by the tourist village. Interesting and innovative editing techniques such as the use of music, special effects, and animation are used to make promotional videos more attractive and attract the attention of potential tourists. After the promotional video is finished, an evaluation is made of the attractiveness and branding impression created from the video. The evaluation results show that promotional videos with interesting and innovative editing techniques can increase the attractiveness and branding impression of Nyarai. It is hoped that the use of promotional videos with interesting and innovative editing techniques can increase the number of tourist visits to Desa Wisata Nyarai and ultimately provide economic benefits for the local community.

Abstract

The Zhilalul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School manages various educational services starting from the formal institutions of MI, SMP, MA, and non-formal TPQ, Madin, Tahfidz Program, and Kitab Kuning. Information services in these pesantren have been manual and uneven. Access to communication and information from administrators, ustadz/ustadzah to guardians of students is still manual, through information on the results of recording which often occurs as obstacles to tucked in archives, incomplete and not systematic. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve partners' skills in digital technology-based information management, so that services at Islamic boarding schools are more improved and developed. This service activity method starts from the socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation stages. At the training stage the team used tutorial, lecture, and question and answer methods. Assistance phase through practical methods. The results of this service activity were 30 participants who were involved as administrators as well as ustadz ustadzah at the Zhilalul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. After participating in digital information management training, 80% of participants were able to present activity information in digital form complete with pictures, captions through application media Canva. Previously, the participants also received training on the importance of managing information in digital-based Islamic boarding schools. Participants gain knowledge about the importance of digitization, types of information, and techniques for making news. Furthermore, assistance in the practice of making information and news designs is packaged using the Canva application media. 85% there was an increase in information services at digital-based Islamic boarding schools, information on students' return schedules, students' activities, and students' achievement progress was shared with students' guardians through digital information accompanied by pictures and interesting.

Abstract

Trangsan Village, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java Province, is the area with the largest rattan craft producing industry in Central Java Province and the second in Indonesia. The Trungsan Rattan Tourism Village has its own charm, namely specific, historical uniqueness and its main attraction is industry-based. There is a lot of potential offered by the Trungsan Rattan Tourism Village area, but there are important things that have not been optimized, especially regarding tourism promotion. This community service activity aims to explore the tourism and rattan industry potential in Trangsan Village as well as management, promotion and community role activities in optimizing the Trangsan Rattan Tourism Village. This activity was carried out by collecting data in the form of interviews, literature studies, and observations at the activity location. Interviews were conducted with the Head of Trangsan Village and historical sources, namely Mr. Warsino and Mr. Marjono, as well as several rattan craftsmen in Trangsan Village. The results and discussion in this paper are the potential for developing the Rattan Trungsan Tourism Village, Gatak District, Sukoharjo Regency, which is a tourist destination. Management of tourism potential and the rattan industry through "Grebeg Penjalin" activities. The marketing plan carried out by the Trangsan Village is in accordance with the target market, namely carrying out promotions through social media and distributing leaflets to schools in Sukoharjo Regency. The design of the documentary film entitled "History of the Rattan Trangsan Tourism Village" with the theme of the History of the Tourist Village is divided into two versions, namely the full version which has a duration of 12 minutes and the short version (trailer version) which has a duration of 1-2 minutes. In this film, video interviews were produced in the form of a documentary by resource persons including rattan craft pioneers, MSMEs, and the head of Trangsan Village.

Abstract

The home industry is a household craft business with 1-4 workers. The home industry that was a partner in this PKM was the "CAHAYA" Micro Enterprise. The partner problems were: 1. Business management, which was still conventional, 2: finance, 3. Marketing was still minimal. The target to be achieved was that Partners could improve knowledge, skills, and quality of human resources, make financial reports, and use promotional tools through social media. to increase the knowledge and skills of partners to help improve the income of the "CAHAYA" Micro Business to increase its contribution to the family economy through training in business governance, finance, and digital marketing. PKM activities carried out include training, practice, and assistance in culinary business management, training in preparing financial reports according to accounting principles, training and assistance in using social media Instagram, WA business, and TikTok as well as FGD (Focus Group Discussion) with culinary entrepreneurs. The results of this service were increased knowledge and skills of partners in business governance, financial management, and the use of social media for promotions, as well as increased sales. Conclusion: This PKM activity has been able to improve Partners' knowledge and skills to increase their contribution to the family economy, becoming more independent, creative, and efficient MSMEs.

Abstract

Poverty among fishermen is a complex problem and often occurs in many coastal areas and small islands. Fishermen depend heavily on fish catches for their income, however, they are very vulnerable to seasonal fluctuations, climate change, limited infrastructure, access to capital, social security and price competition. The factors faced by fishermen cause unstable economic conditions and make them vulnerable to poverty. This condition is also experienced by tuna handline fishermen in Haya Village, Central Maluku Regency. Community Service Activities (PKM) aim to identify problems with small-scale tuna handline fisheries and assist in the institutional formation of a Joint Business Group (KUB) for tuna handline fisheries in Haya Village. Implementation of activities begins with training, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and assistance in establishing KUB. This activity is in the form of a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) with partners and other stakeholders. Mitra is a small-scale tuna hand-line fisherman who has experience and is of productive age. The results of identifying partner and stakeholder problems through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method are decreasing fish resources, weak availability of facilities and infrastructure, low technology, weak institutions, and not yet optimal policy implementation. In this PKM activity, fishing operation management material is presented as material for gaining knowledge, experience and real conditions of fishermen management in handline fishing activities. All participants were very enthusiastic about taking part in this activity by providing feedback and suggestions for developing their fisheries business in the future. The implementation of the formation of Joint Business Groups (KUB) is expected to be able to overcome fishermen's problems, provide motivation, and be innovative and collaborative in groups. PKM activities were carried out well, apart from that, partners had increased capability, cooperation, communication and commitment within the group for fisheries business development.
