Abstract

Lecturer performance is shaped by both personal abilities and institutional factors. While traditionally assessed through the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, performance expectations now extend to administrative and technological responsibilities, particularly in developing academic ecosystems. This study investigates the direct and indirect effects of competence, leadership, academic culture, and technology mastery on lecturer performance, using data from 410 lecturers analyzed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that competence is the most influential factor, exerting a strong direct effect on lecturer performance. Leadership, academic culture, and technology mastery also demonstrate direct relationships with competence, with academic culture and technology mastery indirectly influencing performance through competence. However, leadership does not significantly affect performance either directly or indirectly. These findings emphasize competence as the key determinant of lecturer performance, mediating the effects of institutional and technological factors. The study highlights the importance of strengthening lecturer competence and fostering supportive academic environments, while suggesting that leadership alone is insufficient to drive performance improvement.

Abstract

The rapid growth of Indonesia’s digital services sector has underscored the need for leadership styles that can enhance organizational resilience and foster innovation in a competitive environment. Startups in this sector often face high failure rates, making innovation a critical capability for survival and long-term growth. Against this backdrop, leadership practices that prioritize employee development and empowerment have become increasingly important.  This study aims to examine the relationship between servant leadership and employee innovative behavior in Indonesia’s digital services sector, with particular attention to the mediating roles of psychological safety and technology readiness. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 150 respondents from digital service companies. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test both direct and indirect effects among variables. The findings indicate that servant leadership exerts a significant positive influence on employee innovative behavior (β = 0.545, p < 0.001). Furthermore, psychological safety and technology readiness were found to function as significant mediators, with technology readiness demonstrating the stronger effect. These results highlight the importance of servant leadership in fostering innovation, particularly when combined with psychologically safe environments and proactive technological adoption.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology and the Covid-19 pandemic have accelerated the global adoption of remote work models, yet their implementation in the public sector, particularly in Indonesia, remains limited. In response, the Indonesian government introduced flexible working arrangements for civil servants to provide temporal and spatial flexibility. Nevertheless, empirical evidence on the impact of flexible work arrangement on civil servant performance is still scarce, highlighting the need for further academic investigation. The purpose of this study is to conduct a literature review on the use of flexible working arrangements on individual performance in government agencies. The method used is a systematic literature review, which will use the Scopus database in conducting a literature review. From the results of the literature review, the success of the flexible work arrangement in the government sector is influenced by the control mechanism, organizational culture, and the role of e-leadership. In addition, fragmentation between organizations without performance standards and uniform technology platforms has the potential to weaken the implementation of diversity. The implication is that the government needs to design performance standards and an integrated technology infrastructure so that the implementation of flexible work arrangements is more effective and efficient in all agencies.

Abstract

Telemedicine has become a key component of digital health management in emerging healthcare systems. This study aims to investigate the behavioural drivers of sustainable telemedicine adoption among physicians. An integrative behavioural model was developed by combining the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, Technology Acceptance Model, Innovation Resistance Theory, and Social Cognitive Theory, along with constructs of economic value and social support. A cross-sectional survey of 244 licensed physicians was conducted using purposive sampling, and data were analysed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) and Multi-Group Analysis. The results indicate that economic value is the strongest predictor of behavioural intention, while social support is the primary determinant of actual use. Perceived digital risk had no significant impact, underscoring an intention–action gap where readiness does not always lead to sustained behaviour. MGA revealed that physicians with 5–10 years of experience were more sensitive to digital risks, which negatively influenced their intention to adopt. These findings emphasize the importance of economic framing and professional support in closing the intention–action gap and strengthening sustainable telemedicine adoption. The study offers evidence-based insights for managing long-term digital health transformation in developing healthcare contexts.

Abstract

Despite the rapid growth of digital transformation in Indonesia, many firms still face challenges such as limited digital literacy, unequal infrastructure, and high implementation costs, which hinder their ability to fully leverage technology to enhance customer experience and achieve a competitive advantage. Drawing on Dynamic Capability Theory, this research examines how digital transformation initiatives influence competitive advantage through enhanced customer experience in the context of a developing economy. The data for this research were collected using an online questionnaire of 350 managers and business leaders from Indonesian companies that have implemented digital transformation initiatives. The sampling criteria included companies with at least one digital transformation initiative implemented in the past two years and respondents with direct involvement in digital transformation programs. Using structural equation modeling for analysis, this study’s results reveal that digital transformation positively influences both directly and indirectly to competitive advantage through customer experience mediation. The findings of this study indicate that customer experience takes a significantly mediating role in translating digital transformation efforts into competitive advantages. Furthermore, the research demonstrates that despite implementation challenges in developing countries, companies can successfully leverage digital transformation to enhance their competitive position through improved customer experience.

Abstract

The sportswear industry faces intense competition, requiring brands to build strong customer loyalty through effective digital marketing strategies. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand performance, consumer testimonials, and brand ambassadors on customer loyalty for the Puma sportswear brand, specifically through its Instagram campaigns. Data were collected through an online survey of 398 followers of the Puma Indonesia Instagram account, using a structured questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale. The analysis employed Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares to test the relationships between variables. The findings reveal that brand performance, consumer testimonials, and brand ambassadors each have a significant positive impact on customer loyalty. High-quality products and innovative designs enhance satisfaction, authentic testimonials shared on Instagram build trust, and credible ambassadors foster emotional connections with consumers. These strategies collectively strengthen loyalty in a competitive market. The study concludes that sportswear brands should optimize product quality, leverage user-generated testimonials, and select ambassadors aligned with their audience to enhance customer retention on digital platforms like Instagram. The implications of these findings suggest that sportswear brands should maintain and optimize these strategies to retain customer loyalty amid intense market competition.

Abstract

This study analyzes the strategic role of green finance driven by Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investing in supporting corporate sustainability. The objectives are to examine the integration of ESG criteria into financial management practices, identify challenges and opportunities in aligning corporate financial strategies with sustainable investment trends, and propose a conceptual framework for strategic financial management aimed at long-term value creation. A systematic literature review method was employed, using data from peer-reviewed journals, reports, and white papers published between 2015 and 2025 that addressed green finance, corporate sustainability, strategic financial management, and ESG. Thematic analysis and narrative synthesis were applied to identify key trends, frameworks, and best practices, with triangulation of sources ensuring validity. The findings reveal that green finance instruments such as green bonds and ESG-based investment portfolios influence corporate financial strategies by integrating sustainability metrics with traditional financial indicators. ESG adoption enhances resilience, reputation, and access to sustainable capital markets. Key challenges include regulatory inconsistency, greenwashing risks, and insufficient ESG reporting standards. This study concludes that green finance is a strategic imperative, enabling companies to balance financial performance with social value to achieve long-term sustainability.

Abstract

The banking sector plays a crucial role in driving economic growth and maintaining financial stability by directing funds to productive sectors while managing risks that affect profitability and resilience. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by PRISMA principles to explore how risk management practices, especially Non-Performing Loan (NPL) management, influence bank performance. Lending, as the core banking activity, is key to profitability and financial intermediation, yet high NPL levels can undermine income and stability, particularly in developing countries like Indonesia. By reviewing 16 recent empirical studies, the findings show that effective risk management including strong credit governance, adherence to Basel III standards, technology-supported lending systems, and an empowered Chief Risk Officer helps reduce NPLs and improve financial performance as reflected in ROA, ROE, NIM, and other risk-adjusted indicators. Furthermore, a comprehensive approach that combines regulatory compliance, risk diversification, and sustainability strengthens long-term resilience. These insights provide practical guidance for regulators, bank managers, and researchers in designing flexible, transparent, and sustainable risk management strategies. The study emphasizes that managing NPLs is not just a technical or operational task but a central strategy for ensuring banks remain profitable, stable, and resilient over the long term.

Abstract

This study explores how influencer marketing influences consumer trust in cross-border e-commerce, an emerging focus in digital marketing. Using a qualitative approach through literature review and library research, it investigates the connection between influencer marketing and consumer behaviour in international markets. The primary focus is on how influencer credibility, engagement, and cultural adaptation influence consumer trust when purchasing from international brands. The review reveals that influencer marketing plays a critical role in reducing perceived risks in cross-border transactions by providing social proof and authenticity, particularly when influencers align their content with local cultural norms. The findings indicate that both macro and micro-influencers play an important role, though their effectiveness depends on the target market and campaign objectives. Micro-influencers tend to perform better in niche markets because of their strong engagement and authenticity, while macro-influencers offer wider reach and authority, making them valuable for large-scale cross-border campaigns. This highlights the need to select appropriate influencers and tailor strategies to cultural contexts for successful international marketing efforts.
