Abstract

Global supply chains face challenges like demand fluctuations, supply uncertainties, and changing regulations, making stakeholder collaboration vital for performance and sustainability. This study examines how collaboration among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, customers, NGOs, and regulators enhances supply chain efficiency and resilience. Through a qualitative review of literature from 2020–2025, sourced from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, the analysis highlights that collaboration reduces lead times, optimizes logistics, lowers costs, and integrates environmental and social objectives. Key success factors include trust, clear communication, aligned objectives, technology adoption, long-term commitment, and skilled human resources. However, barriers such as conflicting interests, technological disparities, trust deficits, global complexities, and high initial costs pose challenges. Case studies like Unilever’s “Partner to Win” and Walmart’s Project Gigaton show significant reductions in CO₂ emissions, cost savings, and environmental impact through effective stakeholder coordination. The findings emphasize that integrated digital platforms, strong governance, and multicultural management skills are critical for advancing sustainable collaboration in global supply chains.

Abstract

The global financial sector has shifted toward sustainability, emphasizing environmental, social, and governance principles alongside ethical frameworks like Islamic law objectives. This study explores the integration of environmental, social, and governance principles with Islamic law objectives to develop sustainable Islamic financial investment strategies in Indonesia. As the world’s largest Muslim-majority country, Indonesia offers significant potential for aligning these principles with its growing Islamic finance market. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a systematic literature review and thematic content analysis to examine relevant academic articles, institutional reports, and policy documents. Findings reveal a strong conceptual alignment between environmental, social, and governance principles and Islamic law objectives, particularly in environmental preservation, social justice, and ethical governance. Practical applications include Green Sukuk, with Indonesia issuing over six billion dollars since 2018, and waqf sukuk, supporting social welfare projects. However, challenges such as low awareness and regulatory gaps hinder broader adoption. This study proposes a conceptual framework to integrate these principles, enhancing Indonesia’s position as a global leader in sustainable Islamic finance. This study recommends collaboration among regulators, industry players, and academics to develop standardized guidelines, fostering a financial ecosystem that balances profitability, ethical values, and sustainability.

Abstract

The competitive market for traditional food brands underscores the need to understand factors driving consumer loyalty. This study examines how brand experience influences brand loyalty, mediated by brand trust, perceived quality, and brand love. The objective is to clarify the mediating roles of these variables and address inconsistencies in prior research regarding their impact on loyalty for traditional food products. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed, collecting data from 364 respondents using a purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that brand experience does not directly affect brand loyalty, but significantly influences brand trust, perceived quality, and brand love, which in turn drive loyalty. Brand trust, perceived quality, and brand love partially mediate the relationship between brand experience and loyalty, with consumers favoring innovative flavors and cultural appeal. This study concludes that fostering trust, quality perceptions, and emotional attachment is crucial for building loyalty to traditional food, offering practical strategies for traditional brands to enhance consumer retention in competitive markets.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital banking in Indonesia has intensified competition between purely digital banks and conventional banks embracing digitalization. In this landscape, brand loyalty has emerged as a crucial factor for ensuring business sustainability. This study aims to investigate the impact of perceived value and ease of use on brand loyalty, with user satisfaction serving as a mediating variable, focusing on customers.  A quantitative research design was applied using survey data from 213 respondents in Surabaya and Malang, collected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method via SmartPLS 4.0. The findings reveal that perceived value significantly and positively influences both user satisfaction and brand loyalty. Conversely, ease of use shows a significant negative relationship with brand loyalty and has no significant impact on user satisfaction. Moreover, user satisfaction positively affects brand loyalty and mediates the link between perceived value and brand loyalty, but not between ease of use and brand loyalty. The results suggest that customer loyalty in digital banking is primarily driven by perceived value and satisfaction rather than by ease of use alone.

Abstract

Coffee shops have increasingly become lifestyle spaces for millennials, serving not only as venues to enjoy coffee but also as places for socializing, working, and expressing personal identity. Understanding the factors that drive millennials’ purchasing decisions in these spaces is crucial for businesses seeking to remain competitive. This study aims to examine the influence of lifestyle, physical environment, and e-Payment on millennials’ purchasing decisions at coffee shops, while also assessing the moderating role of social factors in these relationships. A quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was employed, with data collected from 306 millennial respondents selected through purposive sampling. A five-point Likert scale questionnaire was used, and its validity and reliability were confirmed through outer and inner model testing. Results indicate that lifestyle, physical environment, and e-Payment all significantly affect purchasing decisions. Social factors strengthen the influence of lifestyle and physical environment, but do not moderate the effect of e-Payment. The model demonstrates strong predictive power with an R² of 0.80 and a Goodness of Fit (GoF) of 0.769. The study contributes to consumer behavior literature and provides practical guidance for optimizing marketing strategies in coffee shops.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of learning orientation, strategic renewal, and information and communication technology usage on organizational performance through innovation capability in Indonesia’s automotive component industry. Using a quantitative descriptive-verificative design with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the research surveyed 248 companies selected from 362 units in Jakarta, Banten, and West Java through purposive sampling. Respondents were company leaders or owners. The findings show that learning orientation and innovation capability usage positively affect both innovation capability and organizational performance. Strategic renewal, however, only directly influences organizational performance without significantly affecting innovation capability. Furthermore, innovation capability plays a mediating role, strengthening the impact of learning orientation, strategic renewal, and innovation capability usage on organizational performance. These results highlight the importance of fostering innovation in services and processes, supported by innovation capability adoption, to enhance competitiveness and productivity in the national automotive component industry. The study provides practical insights for industry leaders in making strategic decisions to adapt to intense market competition.

Abstract

Veterinary hospitals play a vital role in ensuring animal health, but their success depends on skilled and motivated veterinarians. This research investigates how career development, training, and human resource planning influence veterinarian performance, with employee motivation as a mediating factor, in a veterinary hospital in DKI Jakarta. The objective is to understand these relationships and provide practical recommendations for improving service quality. A quantitative approach was used, collecting data from 125 veterinarians through questionnaires and interviews. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied to analyze the data. The findings show that career development, training, and human resource planning positively and significantly enhance performance, both directly and through motivation, which acts as a key mediator. All hypotheses were supported, confirming the importance of these factors in boosting veterinarians’ effectiveness. In conclusion, veterinary hospitals should prioritize structured career paths, regular training, and strategic planning to enhance motivation and performance, improving animal care quality. However, the study’s reliance on self-reported data and focus on DKI Jakarta may limit its applicability to other contexts.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the digital startup ecosystem has transformed the labor market, creating a demand for resilient and adaptive human resources. Hybrid work arrangements and digital competencies are crucial in this context, yet their impact on human resource resilience, with work-life balance as a mediator, remains underexplored. This study aims to examine the effects of hybrid work and digital competence on human resource resilience in digital startups while investigating the mediating role of work-life balance. A quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis was employed on a purposive sample of 150 employees from digital startups in Bandung, with data collected through structured questionnaires measuring hybrid work, digital competence, work-life balance, and human resource resilience. Results indicate that hybrid work and digital competence significantly influence human resource resilience, with work-life balance partially mediating these effects. The proposed model explains 83.4% of the variance in human resource resilience and 60.5% of the variance in work-life balance. These findings underscore the necessity of integrated policies that combine hybrid work, digital competency development, and work-life balance enhancement to foster sustainable human resource resilience in digital startups.

Abstract

In dynamic competition, SMEs need adaptive strategies such as entrepreneurial marketing and lean practices. This study examines the effect of entrepreneurial marketing and business performance by considering the role of soft lean practices and environmental turbulence as moderating variables. Using an explanatory quantitative methodology with a cross-sectional survey approach, this study involved 198 SMEs out of a total of 225 SMEs surveyed through purposive sampling. The theoretical framework of the study was built based on five theories: resource-based view theory, dynamic capabilities theory, contingency theory, entrepreneurship theory, and organizational learning theory. The results of the structural model analysis indicate that entrepreneurial marketing has a dominant positive influence (β = 0.782, t = 22.035, p < 0.001) on business performance. Soft lean practices show a substantial positive influence (β = 0.647, t = 7.216, p < 0.001), with a significant interaction effect (β = 0.213) between the two variables. The strong synergistic relationship (r = 0.866) confirms the importance of integrating these two practices. The evaluation of the model fit showed satisfactory results with SRMR values of 0.085 and NFI of 0.662. These findings contribute to the development of business strategies that integrate entrepreneurial marketing and soft lean practices.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a vital pillar in modernizing public service delivery worldwide, including in Indonesia. In the past five years, the government has increasingly adopted digital services to improve efficiency, reduce corruption, and foster participation. Yet, issues such as infrastructure gaps, digital illiteracy, and resistance to change hinder full optimization. This study aims to analyze strategies for strengthening digital public services to boost satisfaction while promoting transparent and accountable governance. A qualitative approach was employed using a structured literature review of ten scholarly articles published between 2017 and 2025. The literature was examined through content analysis, focusing on three themes: forms and structures of digital service implementation, impacts on citizen satisfaction, and contributions to governance quality. The findings indicate that successful digital transformation depends not only on infrastructure but also on institutional readiness, legal frameworks, citizen engagement, and inter-agency coordination. Digital services that emphasize accessibility, interactivity, and transparency foster trust and satisfaction. However, digital divides and unequal access remain significant obstacles. Ultimately, digitalization should align with principles of good governance to ensure inclusivity and strengthen relationships between citizens and the state while delivering meaningful improvements in service delivery and governance quality.
