Abstract

In today’s highly competitive food and beverage industry, customer satisfaction, trust, and loyalty have become critical determinants of business sustainability. This study aims to analyze the influence of the 7Ps marketing mix on customer satisfaction and trust, and their subsequent impact on customer loyalty. A quantitative approach was applied by distributing structured questionnaires to 226 respondents aged 18–55 who had purchased within the last three months across selected outlets in Greater Jakarta. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test direct and indirect effects. The results show that product, price, promotion, people, and process significantly enhance customer satisfaction, while only the people dimension significantly builds trust. Furthermore, satisfaction directly strengthens both trust and loyalty, and trust itself exerts a significant impact on loyalty. Indirect effects reveal that product, price, place, promotion, people, and process positively influence loyalty through satisfaction, whereas physical evidence does not. These findings highlight that core elements of the marketing mix, particularly product quality, fair pricing, employee service, and operational efficiency, play a stronger role in fostering long-term customer loyalty compared to physical attributes of the restaurant environment

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises in Indonesia face challenges in increasing the resilience, competitiveness, and empowerment of rural communities. Therefore, business diversification is an important strategy to support inclusive development. This study examines the utilization of business diversification techniques by village-owned enterprises in Indonesia to improve resilience, competitiveness, and empower rural communities. Employing a grounded theory methodology, data were gathered via comprehensive interviews and focus group discussions with principal stakeholders of village-owned enterprises. The coding method, which included open, axial, and selective coding with NVivo 12, produced a theoretical framework elucidating the determinants, strategies, and consequences of village-owned enterprises diversification. The results indicate that effective diversification is influenced by four interconnected factors: innovation, collaborative governance, digital transformation, and community participation. Janti Jaya village-owned enterprises had substantial growth via agrotourism, e-ticketing, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises facilitation, and Corporate Social Responsibility collaborations, generating IDR 4 billion in revenue during the first semester of 2023 and receiving acknowledgment as one of the Top 15 “Desa Brilian.” Karunia Sejahtera VOE utilized Umbul Ngrundul’s tourism and digital services to strengthen sustainability, while the study extends grounded theory and offers policy insights on innovation, governance, and collaboration for inclusive rural development.

Abstract

The banking sector is a key driver of economic growth and financial stability, but it remains exposed to various risks that can lead to financial distress. Early detection using financial ratio analysis is therefore essential to strengthen resilience and protect stakeholder confidence. This study aims to examine the impact of financial ratios on financial distress. This study analyzes the current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and return on assets. The employed study methodology is a quantitative technique utilizing secondary data obtained from financial reports. Data were evaluated by multiple linear regression to ascertain both partial and simultaneous impacts of financial ratios on financial hardship. The findings indicate that current ratio, debt equity ratio, and return on assets significantly influence financial strain to some extent. Concurrent testing indicates that the three independent factors collectively exert a significant impact on financial hardship, with a determination coefficient of 75.9%. These findings affirm that effective management of liquidity, debt composition, and profitability is essential in mitigating the risk of financial distress within the banking industry. Practically, banks should actively manage liquidity, debt, and profitability to prevent financial distress.

Abstract

The rise of remote work has reshaped how employees balance their professional and personal lives, especially among younger generations who value flexibility. This study aims to examine the influence of work from home on work-life balance and job satisfaction among Generation Z employees in Bandung, Indonesia, where technology-driven industries have rapidly adopted flexible work arrangements. A quantitative approach was used, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 385 Generation Z respondents who have worked remotely in Bandung’s technology and creative industries. The variables measured include work from home as the independent variable, and work–life balance and job satisfaction as dependent variables. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SmartPLS software to ensure robust estimation of the proposed relationships. The findings show that work from home has a significant positive impact on work-life balance and job satisfaction. Despite its geographical and generational scope, this study suggests that organizations should design effective remote work policies to boost productivity and well-being, contributing to better employee outcomes in tech-driven environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competencies, education and training, work experience, and individual performance on sustainable development with green skills as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach is used with the SEM-PLS method to process data from relevant respondents. The results of the analysis show that all independent variables have a significant effect on green skills and sustainable development directly. In addition, green skills have been shown to mediate the relationship between these variables to sustainable development. These findings are in line with the theory of human capital and the resource-based view, which emphasizes the importance of human resource development in achieving sustainable long-term goals. This research reinforces previous studies that highlight the role of training, competence, and work experience in improving green skills and supporting sustainable development. This study has limitations in the scope of the area and type of industry surveyed, and has not taken into account external environmental factors such as government policies. Further research is suggested to expand the sample and add external variables as controls. Organization should invest in employee competencies, education, and training to enhance green skills, which in turn support sustainable development.

Abstract

The recycling industry plays a strategic role in supporting sustainable economic growth through waste reduction, increased resource efficiency, and job creation. Providing fiscal incentives, such as tax breaks, subsidies, or reduced import duties on environmentally friendly machinery/technology, is believed to be able to strengthen the competitiveness of the recycling industry. This study aims to assess the impact of fiscal incentive policies on the macro economy, including growth, income, and welfare distribution, using a Computable General Equilibrium simulation model. The main design of this study uses a quantitative approach with Computable General Equilibrium. The results show that fiscal incentive policies through bonded recycling zones have been proven to increase the competitiveness of the recycling industry by encouraging real household consumption, exports, and reducing raw material import costs. However, its positive impact on the national economy is still limited and poses challenges in the form of declining domestic demand for local raw materials and potential negative impacts on the informal sector. Therefore, the long-term success of the Bonded recycling zones policy requires regulatory refinements, more targeted incentives, and investment support in research and technology to strengthen the recycling industry and optimize the potential of the circular economy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction and service quality are key indicators for assessing the performance of primary healthcare centers. Problems such as long waiting times, inconsistent service aspects, and varying service effectiveness can reduce patient satisfaction and affect service standard assessment. This study aimed to examine the relationships between service aspects, waiting time, and service effectiveness on patient satisfaction and service standard assessment. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was used, involving 316 patients visiting the IMCI clinic, maternal and child health clinic, and general clinic in March 2025. Respondents were selected using proportional stratified quota sampling. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) in SmartPLS software, including both outer and inner model evaluations. The results showed significant positive relationships between service aspects, waiting time, and service effectiveness on patient satisfaction and service standard assessment. These findings provide a foundation for evidence-based quality improvement initiatives and can help identify priority areas for enhancing outpatient services.
