Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has transformed digital marketing practices among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze the factors that influence consumer purchasing intention in handicraft products online, focusing on price perception, product quality, consumer reviews, and trust. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 389 respondents. The analysis was conducted using regression techniques to test the influence of inter-variables on purchase intention. The results of the study show that product quality, price perception, consumer trust, and consumer reviews have a positive influence on purchase intention, with product quality having the strongest influence. This suggests that consumers prioritize price-quality considerations over reviews or trust when making purchasing decisions. Accordingly, MSMEs should focus on marketing strategies that emphasize product quality and competitive pricing, as well as improving quality consistency and pricing to strengthen online purchase appeal through more effective and targeted digital promotion strategies.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the metal industry in Mekarmaju Village, Bandung Regency, have great potential to support the local economy and the manufacturing industry supply chain. However, in practice, metal SMEs still face various structural problems. This study aims to examine financial performance due to the development of a business and operational model for a material center for SMEs in the metal industry. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are literature review, field observation, and focus group discussion. The data obtained was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the establishment of a material center with an integrated business model is an effective strategy to strengthen and develop metal SMEs. Through improvements in the supply chain, raw material management, logistics, warehousing, and the implementation of coordinated quality control, this model increases the efficiency, consistency of quality, and competitiveness of SME products. Its success is highly dependent on operational readiness, commitment to cooperation among stakeholders, and continuous assistance from the government, especially the role of the Ministry of Industry.

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational strategy and knowledge management on sales performance through competitive advantage in MLM companies in Surakarta. The study uses a quantitative approach with a census technique on 193 leaders. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that organizational strategy and knowledge management have a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage, and competitive advantage has a positive and significant effect on sales performance. In addition, competitive advantage is proven to mediate the effect of organizational strategy and knowledge management on sales performance. This study contributes to strengthening the knowledge-based view and strategic management perspectives in explaining sales performance achievement through competitive capabilities and provides practical implications for MLM companies in formulating strategies to improve sales performance.

Abstract

In today’s dynamic public sector, fostering effective leadership is crucial to improving employee performance and organizational outcomes. This study aims to investigate the effect of inclusive leadership on employee performance by integrating innovative behavior and work engagement as mediating variables in a public sector setting. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was employed. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to 120 employees of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, selected using purposive sampling. The analysis was conducted using the SEM-PLS method. The results indicate that inclusive leadership has a positive and significant influence on innovative behavior, work engagement, and employee performance. Furthermore, innovative behavior and work engagement also show positive and significant effects on employee performance. Mediation testing confirms that both innovative behavior and work engagement serve as important mediators in the relationship between inclusive leadership and employee performance. These findings suggest that inclusive leadership becomes more effective in enhancing employee performance when supported by employees’ psychological engagement and innovative actions. This study contributes to the development of inclusive leadership theory and offers practical implications for human resource management practices within public sector organizations.

Abstract

Indonesia’s property sector grapples with fierce competition and rising expectations for sustainable practices, making it tough for housing developers to boost business performance. Developers must sharpen innovation skills and embrace green approaches to stay ahead. This study investigates how innovation capability and green innovation affect business performance among housing developers under Real Estate Indonesia’s West Java branch, with competitive advantage acting as a potential moderator. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data came from online questionnaires completed by 144 purposively selected managers. Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling analyzed the responses via SmartPLS. Results show that innovation capability significantly and positively drives business performance. Green innovation has a positive yet insignificant impact. Competitive advantage strongly and directly enhances performance. However, it does not meaningfully moderate the links from innovation capability or green innovation to performance. Superior performance hinges mainly on strong internal innovation and a solid competitive edge. Green initiatives need deeper strategic embedding to unlock their full potential. These insights equip West Java developers with clearer paths to craft smarter innovation strategies and build lasting advantages in a demanding market.

Abstract

Improving the quality of higher education requires strengthening lecturers’ competence and innovative behavior in response to digital transformation and the demands of Industry 4.0. This study examined the mediating effect of emotional intelligence in the relationship between lecturer competence and lecturer innovation at private universities under the coordination of LLDIKTI Region IV. A quantitative approach was employed using structured questionnaires distributed to lecturers in private universities across Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi. A total of 354 responses were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that lecturer competence has a positive and significant effect on lecturer innovation, both directly and indirectly through emotional intelligence. The mediation analysis confirms that emotional intelligence strengthens the relationship between competence and innovation, serving as a key psychological mechanism that translates professional competence into innovative behavior. These findings suggest that universities should incorporate emotional intelligence development into lecturer capacity-building programs to promote sustainable innovation and academic excellence.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to examine how and when work–family conflict (WFC) affects career satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through cynicism, as well as the moderating role of organizational cohesion as a boundary condition. Design/methodology/approach – Data were collected via a questionnaire survey, yielding 404 valid responses. The research model was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings – The findings confirm that WFC positively influences cynicism and negatively affects career satisfaction. Cynicism was found to have a negative relationship with career satisfaction and to mediate the link between WFC and career satisfaction. Furthermore, organizational cohesion served as an effective buffer, weakening the positive effect of WFC on cynicism and mitigating the negative indirect effect of WFC on career satisfaction. Originality/value – This study contributes to organizational behavior by identifying cynicism as a key mechanism through which WFC reduces career satisfaction. It also shows that organizational cohesion can mitigate the negative effects of WFC, particularly in supportive environments. Practical implications – Human resource practitioners should recognize work–family conflict as a strategic threat that can foster cynicism and ultimately diminish employees' career satisfaction. Keywords – Work–family conflict, Career satisfaction, Cynicism, Organizational cohesion, Social exchange theory
