Abstract

The research aims to examine the concrete impact of work transformation triggered by information technology on Generation Y in the current industrial environment. This study will employ a quantitative approach with quantitative methods to collect data. The research population consists of Generation Y employees in both private and government institutions exposed to the use of information technology in their work context. Sampling will be randomly conducted on a number of Generation Y employees representing various work units in several manufacturing companies and government agencies in the West Nusa Tenggara Province. This study uses a survey instrument developed based on existing theoretical frameworks and relevant literature. Descriptive statistical analysis will be used to provide an overview of the respondents' profiles and main patterns in the data. The collected data will be processed and analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 26. Linear regression analysis and descriptive statistical analysis will be employed to explain the relationship between technology adaptation variables and work engagement, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. Simultaneous analysis results indicate that the four variables, namely Information Technology Adaptation (X1), Price and Organizational Commitment (X2), Organizational Support (X3), and Work Engagement (X4), collectively have a significant influence on Turnover Intention (Y). In this regard, the findings suggest that to reduce the tendency of job turnover intention, organizations need to simultaneously pay attention to and enhance these factors. Efforts to improve the level of technology adaptation, price and organizational commitment, organizational support, and employee work engagement can help reduce the level of turnover intention. Turnover intention is not only influenced by one factor but is the result of various interrelated factors. Managing technology adaptation, organizational commitment, organizational support, and work engagement is crucial in minimizing the tendency to intend to leave the job.

Abstract

Credit risk is an important factor affecting the financial stability of banks. Keeping credit risk under control is critical to maintaining the bank's cash flow. This study examines various profitability, microeconomic, and macroeconomic indicators that affect bank credit risk. This study uses a data set of 44 banks from 2018 to 2022 listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and uses a panel data modeling approach to account for variations in risk-taking behavior. The results show a statistically significant negative relationship between return on equity and credit risk (non-performing loans). This finding is consistent in the fixed effect, random effect, and common effect methods, with a significance of 5 percent (P value <0.05). which indicates that the level of credit risk increases with a decrease in return on equity, and further findings show that net interest margin has a positive effect on credit risk (non-performing loans) and microeconomics such as size, efficiency, capitalization, bank diversification have a positive influence on credit risk (non-performing loans). And for macroeconomic variables, it shows a negative influence on credit risk (non-performing loans) where if there is an increase in inflation or a decrease in GDP, it will affect the increase in credit risk.

Abstract

Governments around the world are deeply concerned about how difficult it is for Hajj pilgrims to halt their travel movements during COVID-19 restrictions and national lockdown periods. This pandemic has had a significant impact on pilgrimage tourism in Mecca because since 2020, gatherings at pilgrimage sites have been prohibited. In other words, the Saudi government expanded the hospitality, tourism, and telecommunications sectors in general and modernized Mecca's tourism infrastructure in particular, turning it into a modern city, to take advantage of the increasing demand for religious tourism and to maximize economic benefits (Pecenoni et al., 2012). The desire for increased luxury and comfort suggests that the Hajj has evolved into a more "branded" commercial event. This study also points to the need for further investigation to fully understand the nature of Hajj monetization for religious tourism in general. The spiritual congregation experience is transformed into a counter-experience, a tourist attraction. Additionally, the spiritual congregation experience is transformed into a tourist attraction, a rival experience. violates and endangers the principles of the Hajj pilgrimage and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which prioritizes equality, modesty and not showing off. The aim of this report is to begin to discuss the impact of the commodification of the Hajj. The results of pilot research (focus group) on Hajj pilgrims in England over the previous three years are discussed specifically in this report. According to this research, the Hajj has become a commodity, at least for those who undertake it; not only is the experience more “touristy”.

Quantitative methods use corporate financial statements as secondary data. Mining companies listed in the EIB from 2019 to 2022 are the subject of research. Purposive sampling method is used to determine the sample, and twelve companies are selected. Data analysis using descriptive statistics, validity tests, classical assumption tests, linear regression analysis, and moderation tests through residual methods. Research results show that tax minimization has a significant positive impact on transfer pricing. The size of the company has a significant negative impact. Profit management has not been shown to moderate the impact of tax minimization and corporate size on transfer pricing.
