Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) Difference between the effect of plyometrics and weight  training program on increased kime karate athlete in playing kata, (2) the difference of increased kime karate athlete in playing kata between the athletes with high, medium and low leg muscle strength, (3) the interaction effect between training program with leg muscle strength on increased kime karate athlete in playing kata.This research employed an experimental method with 2 x 3 factorial design. The population of the research in the study were the karate athletes in the Student Activity Unit Karate INKAI of Yogyakarta State University. The sampling technique was purposive random sampling. ANOVA was used to analyzing data, the data analysis prerequisite test was done using the sample normality test (Lilliefors test with a = 0.05%) and variance homogeneity test (Bartlett test with a = 0.05%).Based on the result of the analysis, conclusions are drawn as follows: (1) There was difference between the effect of plyometrics and weight training program on increased kime karate athlete in playing kata.The effect of weight training program is better than the plyometric training program, (2) there was difference of increased kime karate athlete in playing kata between the athletes with high, medium and low leg muscle strength. The effect of increased kime karate athlete in playing kata between the athletes with low leg muscle strength this better than the one with high leg muscle strength, the athletes with high leg muscle strength is better than the one with medium leg muscle 17 strength, (3) there was interaction effect between training program with leg muscle strength on increased kime karate athlete in playing kata. The athletes with low leg muscle strength has according if it is weight training program. The athletes with medium leg muscle strength has according if it is plyometric training program. Abstract

This article aims to reveal the education service development for talented children on sport. Talented on sport means students who have high potential to developed to be an athlete who able to achieve high achievement. Nowadays, Sport fostering through elementary and junior high school way is not fully paying attention and giving special education service yet for talented children.Recent in Indonesia, special school for sport is has been developed such as Ragunan school, but that school has not able to retain and give service for talented children yet. Moreover; the · innovation which has to develop in giving special education service is through school sport club model, inclusion class, sport class and special school for sport. In this article, it will be discussed about juridical base, curriculum, organization prin~ ciple, empower and others. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil tentang efek penggunaan vitamin C pada mengurangi tingkat kelelahan dalam latihan anaerobik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan teknik korelasional, sampel yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa program studi kepelatihan FIK-UNJ. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik korelasi sederhana diikuti dengan uji-t pada tingkat signifikansi p = 0,05. Hasil analisis uji awal dan tes akhir kelompok an-aerob, diperoleh rata-rata = 0,268, standar deviasi = 0,639 dan kesalahan standar rata-rata SEMD = 0,165. Hasil ini menghasilkan thitung = 1,623. Kemudian dengan derajat kebebasan (df) = 15-1 pada tingkat signifikan 5%, nilai kritis dari ttabel = 1,761 diperoleh. Dengan hasil ini berarti thitung <ttabel, hasil penelitian tidak signifikan. Effect of vitamin C consumption on reduction of fatigue levels in anaerobic sports AbstractThis study aims to obtain information about the effect of using vitamin C on reducing fatigue levels in an-aerobic exercise. This study uses an experimental method with correlational techniques, the sample used is the FIK-UNJ coaching study program students. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. Hypothesis testing techniques are performed using simple correlation statistical analysis techniques followed by t-test at the significance level p = 0.05. The results of the initial test analysis and the final test of the an-aerobic group, obtained an average = 0.268, a standard deviation = 0.639 and a mean standard error of SEMD = 0.165. These results produce tcount = 1.623. Then with degrees of freedom (df) = 15-1 at a significant level of 5%, a critical value of ttable = 1.761 was obtained. With these results it means tcount <ttable, the results of the study are not significant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan dan memperbaiki proses pembelajaran khususnya dalam gerak dasar kayang. Hasil analisis menunjukan pada siklus pertama dengan bantuan alat bantu berupa bola diperoleh peningkatan rata-rata nilai sebesar 62,33 dengan perhitungan tingkat efekivitas 32,94 % itu berarti tindakan belum efektif. Pada siklus kedua dengan alat bantu berupa box diperoleh peningkatan dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 70,22 dengan perhitungan tingkat efekivitas 49,76 % itu berarti tindakan belum efektif. Pada siklus ketiga dengan penggunaan bantuan teman diperoleh peningkatan rata-rata nilai sebesar 82,33 dengan perhitungan tingkat efekivitas 75,59 %. Kesimpulan dari hasil analisis tersebut bahwa setiap siklus telah meningkat lebih dari 50% itu artinya tindakan telah efektif dengan alat bantu berupa bola, box dan bantuan teman.ABSTRACTThis study aims to improve and improve the learning process, especially in the basic movements of kayang. The results of the analysis showed that in the first cycle with the help of a ball aid, an increase in the average value of 62.33 was obtained by calculating the effectivity level of 32.94%, which meant that the action had not been effective. In the second cycle with a tool in the form of a box obtained an increase with an average value of 70.22 with the calculation of the effectivity level of 49.76% that means the action has not been effective. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kontribusi power lengan terhadap prestasi renang gaya crawl 50 Meter, (2) kontribusi power tungkai terhadap prestasi renang gaya crawl 50 Meter, (3) kontribusi daya apung terhadap prestasi renang gaya crawl 50 Meter, (4) kontribusi fleksibilitas terhadap prestasi renang gaya crawl 50 Meter, (5) kontribusi dan hubungan power lengan, power tungkai, daya apung dan fleksibilitas terhadap prestasi renang gaya crawl 50 Meter. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu atlet renang putra DIY. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan total responden sebanyak 20 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pengukuran. Analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) ada kontribusi power lengan terhadap prestasi renang gaya crawl 50 Meter (p value=0,016) dengan kontribusi sebesar 18,9%. (2) Ada kontribusi power tungkai terhadap prestasi renang gaya crawl 50 Meter (p value=0,046) dengan kontribusi sebesar 28,6%. (3) Ada kontribusi daya apung terhadap prestasi renang gaya crawl 50 Meter (p value=0,019) dengan kontribusi sebesar 26,3%. (4) Ada kontribusi fleksibilitas terhadap prestasi renang gaya crawl 50 Meter (p value=0,009) dengan kontribusi sebesar 17,8%. (5) Kontribusi power lengan, power tungkai, daya apung dan fleksibilitas terhadap prestasi renang gaya crawl 50 Meter pada atlet renang putra DIY sebesar 91,6%. Kesimpulan: Ada kontribusi Power Lengan, Power Tungkai, Daya Apung dan Fleksibilitas terhadap Prestasi Renang Gaya Crawl 50 Meter pada Perenang Putra DIY. The contribution of arm power, leg power, buoyancy, and flexibility to the swimming of crawl stroke 50 M  AbstractThis research aimed to find out: the contribution of (1) arm power, (2) leg power, (3) buoyancy, (4) flexibility, and (5) relationship of arm power, leg power, buoyancy, and flexibility to the swimming performance of crawl stroke 50 Meter.This research is a survey research study with correlational design. The subjects of this research are DIY’s male swimming athletes. The sampling technique on this research is purposive sampling with 20 person total of respondents. Data collection instrument used tests. The data analysis used multiple regressions. The results of this research indicate that: there is contribution of arm power to the swimming performance of crawl stroke 50 Meter (p value=0.016) with 18.9% of contribution. There is contribution of leg power to the swimming performance of crawl stroke 50 Meter (p value=0.046) with 28.6% of contribution. There is contribution of buoyancy to the swimming performance of crawl stroke 50 Meter (p value=0.019) with 26.3% of contribution. There is contribution of flexibility to the swimming performance of crawl stroke 50 Meter (p value=0.009) with 17.8% of contribution. The Contribution of arm power, leg power, buoyancy, and flexibility to the swimming performance of crawl stroke 50 Meter on DIY’s male swimmer athlete is 91.6%. The rest which are 8,4% was another factors.

Abstract

AbstractOptimal performance can only be achieved , if an athlete has been through the process verycomplex exercise. At the rehearsal process the role of exercise physiology makeing absolutebasis in modifying training program. Sports Physiology is a branch of physiology that studiesthe physiological changes in the body when a person exercise . By knowing the changes thatoccur in the body, one can design an exercise program for making optimal changes asexpected. Errors in applying management training load, will adversely affects physiologicalcondition of the athlete. Pulse is high, often feel dizzy, interference with digestion andmetabolism, is the consequences of fatigue and overtraining, thus affecting the performanceof the athlete to achieve optimal performance .Keywords: Sports Physiology, Optimal PerformanceAbstrakPrestasi optimal hanya dapat dicapai, jika seorang atlet telah melalui proses latihan yangsangat kompleks. Kesalahan dalam menerapkan manajemen beban latihan, akan berakibat negatifterhadap kondisi fisiologis atlet. Abstract

Perolehan angka dalam permainan tenis merupakan hasil dari serangkaian pukulan yang dilakukan oleh petenis. Pengulangan-pengulangan serangkaian pukulan tersebut secara akumulatif akan membentuk pola-pola permainan. Oleh karena itu, para pelatih tenis diharapkan selalu mencatat dan mempraktekkan semua bentuk materi latihan teknik untuk setiap sesi latihan. Proses dokumentasi tersebut sangat membantu para pelatih tenis dalam memilih materi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sekaligus pola bermain.Berangkat dari akumulasi pola-pola latihan yang diciptakan oleh para pelatih bagi petenisnya, dapat sebagai strategi bermain dan memperkaya taktik bermain dalam menghadapi calon lawan. Dengan cara tersebut semua pola-pola bermain yang terdokumentasikan harus diujicobakan selama proses latihan maupun bertanding. Inilah salah satu tugas utama para pelatih adalah membawa dan mengamati para atletnya selama mengikuti suatu turnamen. Hal-hal yang diamati pelatih tentu yang berkaitan langsung dengan aspek-aspek yang mendukung dan yang menghambat kinerja atletnya dalam bertanding.Berdasarkan hasil observasi para pelatih dalam beberapa turnamen dapat sebagai umpan balik dalam memperbaiki program latihan dan menyusun materi latihan sesuai dengan yang diperlukan petenis dalam bertanding. Pada tingkat petenis yang aktif mengikuti turnamen, maka pola-pola bermain harus dilatihkan agar menjadi gerak yang otomatis. Untuk itu perlu dipahami mengenai prinsip-prinsip pola bermain dalam tenis lapangan. Beberapa prinsip dalam menerapkan pola bermain di antaranya (1) klasifikasi musuh petenis, (2) permainan tenis adalah permainan yang penuh dengan resiko kesalahan, (3) setiap pukulan berusaha membuka daerah lawan, (4) buatlah lawan selalu bergerak ke seluruh lapangan permainan, (5) pelajari permainan lawan, (6) pelajari kondisi lingkungan bermain, dan (7), perhatikan posisi tempat jatuhnya bola dengan posisi berdiri.Kata kunci: Pola bermain, tennis

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode perbedaan dengan Latihan Demonstrasi Terhadap Audiovisual Media Keterampilan Dasar Menguasai pada Anak Pemula Senam Ritmik Gadis SD Siswa 2 Bantul di 2009.Penelitian ini merupakan desain penelitian eksperimental yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest desain dua kelompok. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa l1ingga kelas II putri VI SD 2 Bantul Bantul. Dengan teknik purposive sampling, sampel diambil 16 orang 8 orang 8 orang kelompok A dan kelompok B ditentukan setelah diberi pretest dan kemudian ditentukan berdasarkan Peringkat.Kesimpulan Ada perbedaan pengaruh tingkat penguasaan senam ritmik keterampilan menggunakan teknik dasar dan Audiovisual Demonstrasi di siswa SD Bantul 2. Siswa yang menggunakan metode demonstrasi lebih baik dari siswa yang dilatih menggunakan metode audiovisual. Kata kunci: media audiovisual, demonstrasi, Senam Ritmik

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the management and the coaching pattern of Angkatan Muda Seyegan soccer school in fostering the early age players in the age of 1 0-13 years old in Gendengan, Margodadi, Seyegan Sleman Yogyakarta. This is a descriptive qualitative research where the technique used was interview, observation, and documentation study. The research subject were the director of AMS soccer school (1 person), coach (1 person), the member of the soccer school (6 persons), and the parents of the AMS soccer school's members (3 person). The data collecting method was used qualitative approach that was inductive analysis based on the logic principle with triangulation data. This research was conducted in three months from March to May in 2008.The result showed that AMS soccer school has not managed in a professional way yet. Generally the management in AMS soccer school especially in fostering the early age players were already apply eight management function, those are organization, planning, decision making, guiding, controlling, improvement, staff and personnel regulation and financial budqetinq. Besides, AMS soccer school was also having six management facilities, which follows: people (director and coach), financial, materials (coaching members), methods or ways, tools or facilities, and marketing. The fostering pattern and coaching which is applied by AMS soccer school in the early age players are prioritized o the playing activity and the playing which emphasized in the feeling application and motivation in order to make the children interest and like soccer. The next step was help the improvement of the children basic movement, introducing and mastering the basic technique of a playing, introducing the players role in each positions, introducing to the simple official playing roles, then they go to the physical practice, strength, endurance, agility and playing strategy.Keywords: management, the fostering of the children in the early age, AMS soccer school

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was motivated by the lack of oxygen maximum volume level tests (VO2Max)and hemaglobin levels (Hb) in athletes Yongmoodo Akmil Magelang. The purpose of this researchwas determining the level of VO2 Max and hemoglobin levels.This is a descriptive study. Survey was applied to obtain the data needed. The instrumentemployed to measure VO2 Max was cooper Test 2.4 km. It employed Cyan met hemoglobin checkmethod to measure levels of hemoglobin (Hb) carried out in the Clinical Laboratory CITOMagelang. The Subjects of the study were the ten athletes Yongmoodo Akmil Magelang. The datawas analyzed by using quantitative descriptive analysis set forth in the form of a percentage.The research result were; 8 people (80 %) categorized having high level of Vo2 Max, 1person (10 %) in excellent category, and 1 person (10 %) in moderate category. Meanwhile theHemoglobin (Hb) on Magelang Military Academy Athlete Yongmoodo result was categorizedentirely normal (100%).Keywords: Vo2 Max, Haemoglobin, Yongmoodo, Magelang Military Academy.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh belum adanya tes tingkat volume oksigen maksimal(Vo2 Max) dan kadar hemaglobin (Hb) pada atlet Yongmoodo Akmil Magelang. Subjek dalampenelitian ini adalah Atlet Yongmoodo Akmil Magelang yang berjumlah 10 orang.Teknik analisisdata yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif yang dituangkandalam bentuk presentase.Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat Volume Oksigen Maksimal (Vo2 Max) padaAtlet Yongmoodo Akmil Magelang sebagian besar berkategori baik sebanyak 8 orang (80 %), yangberkategori sangat baik sebanyak 1 orang (10 %) dan yang berkategori sedang sebanyak 1 orang (10%), sedangkan Kadar Hemoglobin (Hb) Pada Atlet Yongmoodo Akmil Magelang seluruhnyaberkategori normal (100 %).Kata Kunci : Vo2 Max, Hemoglobin, Yongmoodo, Akmil Magelang.
