Abstract

Research in the field of Sport Pedagogy and Adolescent Physical Activity has experienced dynamic development. This study examines trends and advancements in sport pedagogy and adolescent physical activity through a bibliometric analysis approach. By analyzing a total of 714 articles from 2014 to 2024, the study aims to understand the evolution, focus, and contributions of research in this field. Through bibliometric analysis of data obtained from the Scopus database, we investigate scientific publications related to sport pedagogy and adolescent physical activity. The use of VOSviewer software facilitates the visualization of collaboration networks among researchers, institutions, and research topics, providing deeper insights into the structure and dynamics of this research domain. This bibliometric method offers insights into research trends over time, identifies key topics of interest, and highlights contributions from various leading institutions and researchers in the field. The study provides valuable insights for educators, researchers, and policymakers to refine and implement effective physical activity programs aimed at addressing adolescent inactivity and promoting lifelong physical activity. Additionally, this research includes a systematic literature review to map potential future research areas based on current trends, offering comprehensive guidance for upcoming research in this field.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much interest students are in softball, especially in SD Model Terpadu Madani Palu. This study is a type of descriptive research with the aim of finding out how high the interest of SD Model Terpadu Madani Palu students is in softball. With the method used is a survey, which is a study that takes samples from one population with a data collection technique using a questionnaire/questionnaire, the population in this study is all students in grades IV, V, and VI of SD Integrated Model Madani Palu which totals 220 while the sample is selected among the population according to the researcher's desire which amounted to 45 students or 20 percent of the existing population. The scores obtained from the questionnaire were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis expressed in the form of percentages. The results of this study show that students' interest in participating in softball extracurricular sports at SD Model Terpadu Madani Palu is moderate with a percentage of 35%. Meanwhile, the interest of other students in the very high category was 3 students or 7%, the high category was 10 students or 22%, the low category was 13 students or 29%, and the very low category was 3 students or 7%. Schools must be able to stimulate students' interests in their potential, based on factors that affect students' interest in achievement. Keywords: Interest, Coaching, Students, Softball

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether wobble board training methods affect shooting accuracy in archers at a distance of 30 meters. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 12 archers aged 15–18 years, selected from the SELABORA Archery of FIK UNY. The instrument used was archery at a 30 meters distance. The data analysis technique employed Normality Test using SPSS 25 software, followed by a Homogeneity Test to determine whether sample variances derived from the same population were equal. Based on the research findings and discussion: Based on the analysis of the archery accuracy data of SELABORA Archery FIK UNY, the calculated t value (5,437) > t table (2,20), and the p value (0,000) < of 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that wobble board training significantly affects archery accuracy at 30 meters among SELABORA Archery FIK UNY.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between anthropometric variables and biomotor abilities with gymnastics potential in elementary school students. The research method used a correlational quantitative approach involving 106 fourth and fifth grade students aged 9–11 years at SD Negeri 1 Gentan. Data were collected through anthropometric measurements (height, weight, arm span, sitting height) and biomotor ability tests (flexibility, core muscle strength, coordination). Data analysis was performed using Pearson's correlation test and multiple regression using SPSS. The results of the study showed that: (1) Height was significantly correlated with arm span (r = 0.687; p < 0.01) and sitting height (r = 0.434; p < 0.01), but not with biomotor ability; (2) Sit height has a positive relationship with core muscle strength (plank) (r = 0.346; p < 0.01), while arm span has a negative correlation (r = -0.209; p < 0.05); (3) Biomechanical abilities such as flexibility (split) and body rotation (air turn) are significantly correlated (r = 0.775 and r = 0.676; p < 0.01), but are not directly influenced by anthropometric variables. The conclusions of this study indicate that gymnastics potential is more influenced by technical training and flexibility than by body structure, although certain anthropometric variables such as sitting height and arm span play a role in core muscle stability. The implications of this study highlight the importance of combining anthropometric monitoring with structured biomotor training programs for the development of gymnastics potential in elementary school students. Abstract

Coaches have difficulty identifying players' aerobic endurance capabilities based on their body proportions. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of aerobic endurance capacity and the ideal body condition of Safin Pati Sports School soccer players born in 2006. The analysis presented in the form of a classification and through a research approach based on a quantitative descriptive approach.(Allsabah, 2021). The quantitative approach to data measurement is quantitative and the statistics are objective using calculations from predetermined samples. The method in this study is a quantitative descriptive sampling method using purposive sampling and the analysis method uses quantitative descriptive statistics. Participants in this study were Safin Pati Sports School soccer students born in 2006. The sample consisted of 22 students out of 26 students who met the criteria, 4 of whom had injuries. The measurement tests used were Multistage Fitness Test, weighing and measuring height. The results of the study showed that the level of aerobic endurance capacity of Safin Pati Sports School soccer students averaged a value of 49.7 in the excellent category and the average player's body mass index value was 20.49 in the normal category. The conclusion from the results obtained from this study is that those who have excellent endurance are 82%, those who have good endurance are 14%, and those who have sufficient endurance are 5%. While the body mass index value of players in the underweight category is 14% and in the normal category is 86%. Coaches must maintain the level of aerobic endurance capacity and body mass index values they have and continue to pay attention to the training program with the food intake received by their players.
