Abstract

Companies operating in the sector of meeting people's basic needs and using high technology are required to be able to provide quality services. HR management plays an important role, and efforts to improve the quality of HR require development strategies, one of which is building a culture of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). One way that is considered effective is by improving quality of work of life (QWL) to build OCB. This descriptive research took 42 employees holding supervisory positions at PT. PLN NP Surabaya, data was collected through HR assessment documents and Thurstone scale model questionnaires. The results of factor analysis show that QWL is represented in three components that influence OCB, namely the benefits component, work environment and career development. Aspects of OCB that can be observed are communication and feedback, which appear in the form of alturism, namely employees showing an attitude of being willing to help colleagues who need help, and civic virtue, such as involving themselves in company activities even though these activities are not needed in their work. This research proves that QWL has a positive and significant effect on the formation of OCB at PT. PLN NP in Surabaya.

Abstract

This research explores how transformational leadership and the physical work environment shape knowledge-sharing practices and innovative work behavior, both through direct relationships and through indirect pathways. A quantitative approach was employed, with data gathered through questionnaires administered to members of the MKGR Mass Organization in Banten Province. Using proportional random sampling, responses were obtained from 65 participants. The collected data were processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the support of SPSS version 30. The findings indicate that transformational leadership significantly influences innovative work behavior, as does the physical work environment. Knowledge sharing also plays a crucial role in fostering innovative behavior. In addition, both transformational leadership and the physical work environment significantly affect knowledge-sharing activities. Importantly, knowledge sharing functions as a mediating variable, strengthening the influence of transformational leadership and the physical work environment on innovative work behavior

Abstract

This study examines the effects of motivation, education and training, and compensation on employee performance at the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia in Banten Province. It is grounded in the view that effective human resource management is crucial for sustaining organizational performance in a strategic state financial institution responsible for maintaining economic stability. Employee performance is treated as a key organizational asset influenced by internal factors such as work motivation, competency development through education and training, and the applied compensation system. Using a quantitative explanatory approach with a causal-comparative design, data were collected through questionnaires from employees who met specific criteria, including participation in training programs and receipt of formal compensation. Multiple linear regression analysis, supported by classical assumption testing, was employed to ensure model validity. Motivation, education and training, and compensation were analyzed as independent variables, while employee performance was measured through individual performance indicators, work competence, and adherence to Bank Indonesia’s strategic values. The results show that all three variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both individually and collectively. The study highlights the importance of integrated motivation enhancement, continuous competency development, and fair compensation systems, contributing to public-sector human resource management literature and offering practical guidance for performance-oriented policy formulation

Abstract

This study was conducted at the Al Irsyad Islamic Education Foundation in Banten, an educational institution that seeks to enhance employee performance in order to remain competitive with other foundations, both at the provincial level of Banten and specifically within Serang Regency. The research focuses on analyzing the influence of compensation, competence, and the work environment on employee performance. The objective of the study is to examine, describe, and provide empirical insights regarding the effects of these three variables. A quantitative research design was applied, employing various statistical procedures, including validity and reliability tests, normality testing, multicollinearity testing, heteroscedasticity testing, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination (R²), as well as partial (t-test) and simultaneous (F-test) hypothesis testing. The research population comprised all employees of the Al Irsyad Islamic Education Foundation in Banten, with a total of 62 respondents. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and supported by interviews to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of employee perceptions and working conditions. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25. The findings reveal that compensation, competence, and the work environment each have a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the simultaneous test results indicate that these three variables collectively contribute significantly to improving employee performance. Based on these findings, the study recommends that the foundation consistently enhance compensation systems, employee competencies, and the quality of the work environment to achieve superior performance and more effectively attain organizational objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the pesantren environment and leadership style on teacher performance with Work-Life Balance as an intervening variable. The research used an explanatory quantitative approach and was carried out at the Al-Muawwanah Islamic Boarding School, Ciamis Regency, West Java. The research population includes all active teachers as many as 100 people who are designated as samples through saturated sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale questionnaire, while data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS. The results of the study show that the pesantren environment and leadership style have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. In addition, the pesantren environment and leadership style also have a significant effect on Work-Life Balance. Work-Life Balance has been proven to have a positive effect on teacher performance and partially mediates the relationship between the pesantren environment and leadership style and teacher performance. These findings affirm the importance of a conducive work environment, supportive leadership, and management of work-life balance as a strategic strategy to improve teacher performance in the pesantren environment

Abstract

This research assesses the business development strategy of building materials store in Samarinda using SWOT analysis and Value Proposition Canvas (VPC). The impetus for this study stems for the growing impact of digital transformation in the retail industry, which compels small and medium enterprises to adapt in order to maintain their competitive edge. The methodology employed in this research is descriptive qualitative, untilizing a case study approach focused on the R3 Building Materials Store in the Palaran District. Data was gathered through observation, comperehensive interviews, and documentationsubsequently analyzed using Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS) and External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS) to ascertain the store’s strategic position and costumer value mapping via VPC. Results indicate strengths in personal customer interactions, competitive pricing, and advantageous location; weaknesses in digital operations and promotion; and opportunities from rising building material demand, infastructure development, and accessible digital technology. Practically, this study shows that traditional building materials retailers can improve their competitiveness by adopting affordable digital strategies, including social media promotionas, a simple inventory management system, and sameday delivery services. Managerially, these findings suggest that through a SWOT analysis and Value Proposition Canvas (VPC) enables small retailers to make more effective, customer centric strategic decisions in the digital era

Abstract

The development of digital technology encourages micro-enterprises in the culinary sector to adopt digital-based marketing strategies. This study analyzes the effectiveness of creative digital marketing in improving the competitiveness and viability of micro-enterprises. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through in-depth interviews and observation, the analysis focuses on marketing, operations, human resources, legal aspects, and investment. The findings show that social media platforms such as Instagram and Shopee Food, along with collaboration with content creators, effectively expand market reach, enhance customer interaction, and strengthen brand awareness. The study highlights the integration of digital creativity and business feasibility in the culinary sector

Abstract

This study aims to look at how competence, pay, and work ethic affect employee performance at the Department of Communication, Informatics, Encryption, and Statistics in Serang Regency. The research used a quantitative method, gathering data through questionnaires, direct observations, and document reviews. A total of 75 employees took part as respondents, chosen using a census sampling method to ensure all parts of the group were included. The data was then processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression to understand how the different factors relate to each other. The results show that employee competence has a positive and significant impact on performance, meaning that having more knowledge, skills, and abilities leads to better job results. However, pay was not found to have a significant effect on performance, implying that current salary structures might not be a major driver for improvement. Work ethic, on the other hand, had a positive and significant effect, highlighting the role of values like discipline, responsibility, and dedication in achieving good performance. When all three factors—competence, pay, and work ethic—are considered together, they have a significant combined effect on performance. These findings suggest that improving employee competence and promoting a strong work ethic is important, and that organizations should consider reviewing their pay systems. The study offers useful information for enhancing human resource management in public sector organizations

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of response time accuracy and work motivation on service quality, as well as the effect of service quality on the number of patient visits at the Regional Public Hospital of Serang City. A quantitative research approach was employed to achieve these objectives. The data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis to measure the relationships between response time accuracy and work motivation with service quality, and subsequently the effect of service quality on patient visits. The research population consisted of 7,669 individuals associated with the Regional Public Hospital of Serang City. Using a disproportionate stratified random sampling technique, a total of 381 respondents were selected as the research sample. The results of the study indicate that response time accuracy accounts for 15.98%, work motivation for 22.89%, service quality for 20.12%, and patient visits for 20.40%. Furthermore, the magnitude of the influence of response time accuracy on service quality is 0.285, while the influence of work motivation on service quality is 0.281. In addition, service quality has an influence of 0.519 on the number of patient visits. These values indicate that the effects fall within the low to moderate category. The hypothesis testing results show that response time accuracy and work motivation jointly influence service quality with a hypothesis acceptance level of 11.4%. Meanwhile, the joint influence of response time accuracy and work motivation on patient visits reaches a hypothesis acceptance level of 20.7%.

Abstract

The influence of school principal leadership, principal motivation at work, and principal entrepreneurial skills on elementary school teacher performance in the Cikande District is the subject of this study. The method used was multiple linear regression analysis using a quantitative approach. The results of the study showed that all three elements, independently and in combination, had a good and considerable influence on teacher performance. Revealing an Adjusted R Square value of 0. 565, the multiple coefficient of determination (R²) reveals a 56% influence of the combined effect of the independent variables leadership, work motivation, and the principal'sentrepreneurial skill on the dependent variable (teacher performance) Effective school principal leadership can help create a pleasant work environment and advance professionalism among teachers. High work motivation from principal work motivation creates enthusiasm and role models that drive optimal teacher performance. Meanwhile, the principal’s entrepreneurial competence encourages innovation and creativity in managing education, which positively impacts improving teacher performance. These findings indicate that the synergy all three variables together can create a productive and quality teacher performance system.
