Abstract

The culinary sector in Indonesia is growing rapidly, making the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry one of the most competitive fields in the creative economy. This study aims to assess the feasibility of Spontan Food & Snack, a micro business in Samarinda, using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach combined with financial analysis. The method used is a case study with a mixed approach through field observations, interviews, and financial data analysis during one year of operation. The feasibility of the business was analyzed using five main indicators, namely Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), and Break Even Point (BEP) in units, rupiah, and percentages. The results of the study show that this business is feasible with a positive NPV, an IRR exceeding the discount rate of 9%, and an efficient capital recovery period of four years. The break-even point is reached at sales of 536 units or Rp10,720,000 with a percentage of 41%. Thus, Spontan Food & Snack has good financial prospects and a competitive business model, while emphasizing the importance of integrating financial analysis and BMC in improving operational efficiency and strategic planning for the sustainable development of culinary MSME.

Abstract

The food sector in Indonesia has experienced significant growth over the past few decades, supported by stable economic growth, changes in lifestyle, and increasing urbanization. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the food sector contribute significantly to the economy, accounting for approximately 61.07% of the Gross Domestic Product and absorbing 97% of the workforce. This study aims to develop an integrated and contextual business viability model for food MSMEs by combining aspects of market, technical, financial, managerial, environmental, and risk and sustainability factors, using use of digital marketing strategis, good financial management of the business. The financial viability analysis using NPV, IRR, Payback Period, and BEP methods indicates that the business is feasible and profitable. The SWOT analysis highlights opportunities for franchise development and digital market expansion, but also identifies challenges such as intense competition and fluctuating raw material prices. This study provides both theoretical and practical contributions for the development of adaptive, efficient, and sustainable business strategies for food MSMEs in the digital era of Indonesia.

Abstract

Introduction: Digital transformation compels SMEs to translate physical authenticity into digital capital, yet inconsistencies often hinder this process. This study addresses the critical gap observed at Street's Fank's Coffee Shop, where strong, organic verbal Word-of-Mouth (WOM) fails to be leveraged effectively through Instagram Marketing. Objective: The research aims to analyze the disconnect between physical social capital and digital execution and proposes an integrated strategy to sustain digital WOM. Methods: Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through triangulation: non-participant observation, in-depth interviews with key informants (Owner and Social Media Admin), and documentation in Samarinda Seberang. Data analysis followed open, axial, and selective coding procedures. Results: The study reveals a fundamental 'disconnect' where the shop's most valuable asset—abundant User Generated Content (UGC) derived from authentic physical experiences—is systematically neglected. This occurs because the management views content creation as a burden, leading to digital inconsistency despite the availability of organic customer endorsements. Conclusion: To overcome this, the study proposes "The Authenticity Loop" strategy based on SWOT and VPC analysis. This approach advocates a philosophical shift from "content creation" to "content curation," positioning the Admin as a "Curator of Authenticity" to validate customer

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interpretation of Islamic economic law regarding Tether Currency investments and its impact on economic productivity and effectiveness in the context of societal progress in the 5.0 era. The development of financial technology (fintech) has introduced various digital assets, including stablecoins such as Tether (USDT), which offer the potential for investment diversification but also raise questions regarding their compliance with Sharia principles. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach and literature review, this study explores fatwas related to digital assets, the characteristics of Tether, and their implications for achieving Sharia issues and objectives (maqasid syariah). The results indicate that the legal status of Tether in the Islamic economy still requires in-depth review, particularly regarding the issues of gharar, riba, and maisir. Although Tether has the potential to increase transaction efficiency and investment accessibility in the 5.0 era, its productivity and effectiveness in driving societal progress depend heavily on compliance with Sharia principles and clear regulations. This study recommends the development of a comprehensive fatwa framework for digital assets to ensure halal and blessed investments for society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational justice on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable in PT Sokonindo Automobile. The research method uses a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis. The research sample amounted to 179 respondents which were determined through simple random sampling techniques. The results of the study show that organizational justice has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and has a strong influence on increasing organizational commitment. In addition, organizational commitment has been proven to make a significant contribution in driving performance improvement. Mediation analysis shows that organizational commitment mediates positively and significantly the relationship between organizational justice and employee performance. The values of R² and Q² confirm that the model has good predictive power and adequate predictive relevance. These findings underscore that justice in distribution, procedures, and interactions is an important foundation in building employee psychological attachment that ultimately improves work performance. This research provides implications for the development of equity-based HR policies and offers a theoretical perspective on the psychological mechanisms that link justice and performance through organizational commitment

Abstract

Digital transformation has brought a paradigmatic shift in human resource management practices in the Industry 4.0 era, shifting HR functions from conventional administrative orientation to the role of technology-based strategic partners. This study adopts a systematic meta-analysis approach with a qualitative meta-synthesis methodology to analyze the characteristics, determinant factors, and implications of human resource digital transformation based on ten studies for the 2022-2025 period. The results of the analysis identified that the application of artificial intelligence technology, big data analytics, and digital learning platforms improved operational efficiency, accelerated decision-making, and substantially accelerated employee competency development. Crucial success factors include executive leadership support, technology infrastructure readiness, workforce digital competencies, and adaptive organizational culture. Key challenges include data security, employee privacy, resistance to change, and the risk of depersonalizing work interactions. This study recommends a holistic implementation strategy that integrates organizational readiness assessments, sustainable digital literacy programs, and structured change management to achieve a sustainable and human-oriented digital transformation of human resources in the face of the complexities of the contemporary digital age

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of training, compensation, and work-life balance on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. A quantitative explanatory design was used, and data were obtained from respondents through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire. Structural equation modeling was applied to examine the causal relationships among all variables. The findings showed that training, compensation, and work-life balance had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. The results also revealed that job satisfaction had a significant positive effect on employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction partially mediated the influence of training and compensation on employee performance and fully mediated the effect of work-life balance on employee performance. These findings indicated that organizations that provided adequate training, fair compensation, and supportive work-life balance created higher levels of job satisfaction, which in turn enhanced employee performance. This study offered meaningful insights for organizations seeking to improve productivity through the development of effective human resource management practices

Abstract

Tourism SMEs in Bengkulu's coastal ecotourism areas frequently face environmental and economic disruptions that challenge their business sustainability. This study explores how these SMEs build and maintain organizational resilience amidst uncertainty. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with selected SMEs from the culinary, souvenir, homestay, local fashion, and transportation sectors. Thematic analysis revealed that resilience among tourism SMEs is shaped through three interrelated dimensions: cognitive, behavioral, and contextual resilience. Cognitive resilience emerges from local awareness, anticipation, and collective understanding that enable SMEs to recognize and respond to environmental changes. Behavioral resilience is demonstrated in adaptive practices, flexibility, and innovation that transform limited resources into creative responses. Contextual resilience is rooted in social networks, partnerships, and informal cooperation that strengthen collective adaptive capacity despite limited institutional support. These findings highlight that resilience in coastal tourism SMEs is not a static trait but a cyclical process of learning, adaptation, and collaboration. This study contributes to the understanding of resilience in the tourism context of developing countries and offers insights for strengthening the sustainability of coastal based SMEs through locally embedded adaptive strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically map the development and intellectual structure of research on HR Digital Evolution in order to address the problem of conceptual fragmentation and the limited holistic understanding of digital evolution in Human Resource Management (HRM). The study employs a science mapping approach based on a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA method combined with bibliometric analysis. Data were obtained from the Scopus database, comprising 41 indexed articles published between 2008 and 2025 that are relevant to the topic of HR Digital Evolution. The analysis was conducted to identify publication trends, major thematic clusters, knowledge structures, and the evolutionary dynamics of digital HR research. The findings indicate that research on HR Digital Evolution has increased significantly over the past decade, particularly in the post-pandemic period, with a dominant focus on digital technology integration, HR analytics, artificial intelligence, digital competency development, and their linkages to sustainability and human-centered values. The results also reveal the limited explicit use of classical HRM theories, indicating a theoretical gap in contemporary digital HR literature. The implications of this study are both theoretical and practical, strengthening the position of HR Digital Evolution as an interdisciplinary domain that requires the integration of socio-technical and dynamic capability theories, while also providing strategic guidance for academics and practitioners in designing more focused, sustainable, and evidence-based HR digital transformation agendas.
