Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the income and to find out whether the Cayenne Chili Tumpangsari Farming Business was feasible to be cultivated in Rokan Hulu Regency. Data Analysis Techniques using both income analysis and farming feasibility analysis. The results showed that the total revenue achieved by cayenne pepper farmers was Rp. 81,640,000 with an average income of Rp. 69,449,550. And cayenne pepper intercropping in Rokan Hulu Regency is feasible to operate with an R/C value of 5, which means that each expenditure is Rp. 100 will get a receipt of Rp. 500.

Abstract

The needed for a grand design of education in the implementation of literacy education in order to provide an output in the form of a literate society and able to solve problems in their lives as expected by the law. No. 20 of 2003 article 3 which states that national education functions to develop capabilities and shape the character and civilization of the nation so that they are able to actively participate in advancing the world community. So, to be able to make it happen, the TANDUR strategy is a strategic solution for the implementation of literacy education. Development the implementation of multi-literacy education in Community Learning Center (CLC) or PKBM is carried out using the RnD method and the application of quasi-experiments to test the developed model. The results obtained in this study are the TANDUR strategy applied in the implementation of multi-literacy in Community Learning Center (CLC) has a positive effect, both on tutors, the learning process, and the learning community.

Abstract

Kepercayaan diri remaja berada pada kategori rendah, rendahknya kepercayaan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya ialah kekerasan verbal yang dilakukan oleh orangtua. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kekerasan verbal yang dilakukan orangtua dan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kekerasan verbal yang dilakukan orangtua terhadap kepercayaan diri remaja di desa Girsang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji kecenderungan, uji linier sederhana, uji hipotesis, uji t dan uji determinasi. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh kontribusi kekerasan verbal orangtua terhadap kepercayaan diri remaja yang dihitung menggunakan uji t diperoleh sebesar 61,46% yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kekerasan verbal orangtua terhadap kepercayaan diri remaja di desa Girsang.

Abstract

This study aims at describing the implementation of social values in the Amot Samper Tradition by the community in Menyabo Village, Sanggau Regency. Employing the qualitative descriptive design, sociological studies were used as the scientific approach in this study. The data were gathered using interviews, observation and documentation. The data sources were from resource persons/informants, books, theories, documents related to the social values and traditions of Amot Samper. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research revealed that the social values in the ritual tradition of Amot Samper were: Religion, Family, Cooperation, Mutual Cooperation, Togetherness and Aesthetic Values. Social values in the ritual tradition of Amot Samper were implemented in the daily life of the people of Menyabo Village. This could be seen from the enthusiasm of the community to participate in existing social activities, as well as the harmonious life of the community in Menyabo Village.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai sosial pada Tradisi Amot Samper oleh masyarakat di Desa Menyabo Kab. Sanggau. Jenis penelitian adalah Kualitatif Deskriptif. Pendekatan keilmuan menggunakan kajian sosiologi. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun sumber data berasal dari nara sumber/informan, buku, teori, dokumen yang berkaitan dengan nilai sosial dan tradisi Amot Samper. Analisis data meliputi, reduksi data, penyajian data,dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitiannya didapatkan bahwa nilai-nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam Tradisi ritual Amot Samper antara lain: Religius, Kekeluargaan, Kerjasama, Gotong royong, kebersamaan serta nilai Estetika. Nilai sosial dalam tradisi ritual Amot Samper terimplementasi pada kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat Desa Menyabo. Hal ini terlihat dari antusias masyarakat untuk ikut serta dalam kegiatan sosial yang ada, serta rukunnya kehidupan masyarakat di Desa Menyabo.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji makna simbolik istilah Konstruksi Bangunan Adat Bantayo Poboide Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui tahapan pengumpulan, pengklasifikasian data, penganalisisan data dan penyimpulan. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini berlokasi di rumah adat Bantayo Poboide di Kelurahan Kayu Bulan Kecamatan Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo dan rumah adat yang ada di Provinsi Gorontalo sebagai data pembanding. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan bangunan adat Bantayo Poboide tidak bisa dilepaskan dari sejarah perkembangan masyarakat Gorontalo dimana raja sebagai pemimpin pemerintahan di Linula tidak bersifat absolut, tidak pula ditunjuk berdasarkan keturunan, melainkan atas pilihan dan persetujuan wakil-wakil masyarakat yang duduk dalam pemerintahan. Istilah-istilah bangunan adat Bantayo Poboide dalam Bahasa Gorontalo mengarah kepada kebiasaan dan budaya yang berlaku di dalam masyarakat. Temuan menelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan rumah adat Bantayo Poboide erat kaitannya dengan dimensi kultural masyarakat Gorontalo dan sebagai bukti wujud sistem demokrasi Gorontalo jaman dulu. Makna simbolik rumah adat erat kaitannya dengan kebudayaan masyarakat Gorontalo yang masih memegang teguh tradisi adat dalam proses membangun rumah di Gorontalo yang dapat mencerminkan kekuatan adat dan budaya dan bukti jejak budaya arsitektur Gorontalo.

Abstract

The more days of tolerance, the sense of solidarity and the rise of hate speech on social media, as well as the decline in national values, the fading of the national spirit is a serious concern, especially for educators. Indonesia is experiencing various challenges or threats. the best for the country is just a slogan. Society seems to have lost its direction (disorientation) in the life of the nation and state, due to the dim implementation of basic values. The basic value that becomes a reference or guideline is considered as something ancient. There are even organizations that oppose the existence of these basic values. It is unfortunate that the younger generation is also swept away, as if they have forgotten history. The growing trend in society prefers pragmatic and practical values which in reality are not in accordance with the soul and personality of the Indonesian nation. This study aims to examine and explore and provide an overview of character education which includes civic education courses, Pancasila education and character development courses for students at Maranatha Christian University. The implementation of these values was carried out by observing, interviewing, as well as questionnaires which were distributed to students. Interviews were also conducted with the civic education lecturer team, the Pancasila lecturer team, the character development lecturer team and educational institutions.The emphasis in this research underscores how advances in technology and information in the digital era can be implemented from personality development courses. Personality development is one of the targets of civics and Pancasila education courses and character development courses. Conventional learning that has been entrenched so far must be replaced with digital learning. It takes effort and creativity from lecturers so that the meaning and message of the values of civic education and Pancasila values can be accepted and carried out in life by students. The method or approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative through in-depth observation, even though it is constrained by a pandemic, it can be combined by conducting interviews both structured and open interviews, literature studies and documentation. The techniques used to examine the research are data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions. For the output of the research team, it is planned to be published in an accredited journal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis adanya pengaruh variabel (1) motivasi terhadap kinerja guru, (2) disiplin terhadap kinerja guru, (3) budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja guru, dan (4) motivasi, disiplin, motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru. Responden penelitian adalah guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kota Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 3454 orang dengan sampel 97. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket sebagai instrumen penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif, analisis statistik inferensial dan pengujian hipotesis. Koefisien reliabilitas instrumen dihitung menggunakan rumus alpha cronbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,028, terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan disiplin terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,017, dan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,029. Sedangkan secara bersama-sama terdapat pengaruh motivasi, disiplin, budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,000.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine to what extent the effect of information technology on administrative management at the Kaaruyan Village Office, Mananggu Subdistrict, Boalemo Regency. It employed a aquantitative approach using a quantitative correlational method with a sample of 30 people. In the meantime, the data collection techniques used in this research were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, while the data analysis techniques applied simple regression analysis. The research finding depicted that there was a effect of information technology on administrative management at the Kaaruyan Village Office, Mananggu Subdistrict, Boalemo Regency. The effect of information technology on administrative management reached 40.7% while the remaining 59.3% was affected by other variables that were not examined in this research.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh teknologi informasi terhadap pengelolaan administrasi pada Kantor Desa Kaaruyan Kecamatan Mananggu Kabupaten Boalemo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, kuesioner, dokumentasi serta teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh teknologi informasi terhadap pengelolaan administrasi pada Kantor Desa Kaaruyan Kecamatan Mananggu Kabupaten Boalemo. Besar pengaruh dari teknologi informasi terhadap pengelolaan administrasi mencapai 40,7% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 59,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Walking balance disturbance in stroke patients is associated with to inability to regulate body movement and muscle mobility. Patients with stroke have problems with postural control and it will have an impact in decreasing muscle function including the lower extremities. There are several non-pharmacological treatments that can be used, one of that is by intervening in core stability exercise. This research aimed to determine the effect of core stability exercise on the walking balance to the post- stroke patients.This type of the research was pre-experimental using the one group pre-post-test design. The sampling technique used was a Consecutive sampling with sample of 20 respondents who were given core stability exercise for 4 weeks with exercise 3 times a week. Data collection uses POMA observation sheets (Tinetti Performance Oriented Mobility Assessment). The test statistic used was the Wilcoxon statistical test and the value ρ = 0,000 obtained with a significance level of α = 0.05. This shows ρ ˂ α, which means that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The results of this research indicated that core stability exercise can improve the walking balance of post-stroke patients.

Abstract

Since empowerment significantly contributes to the development of organizations and individuals, including schools and teachers, the issues of empowerment have drawn a lot of attention from all different types of organizations. Thus, the study set out to investigate the effects of professionalism and teacher empowerment on the work ethic of those who teach in non-formal education. This survey's cross-sectional study methodology was used, and the respondents were non-formal teachers who were employed as permanent English teachers in English language institutions. In this study, a causal survey method and a path analysis technique were both employed. The study indicated that professionalism and empowerment both considerably affect work ethics, and professionalism greatly affects empowerment. It also showed how professionalism has a substantial indirect impact on empowerment in terms of work ethic.
