Abstract

Choosing the level of education after completing junior high school is a crucial decision for grade IX students that will affect their future. However, many students feel confused or unsure. According to what happened at MTS Bustanul Ulum Panti, it shows that there are 5 students who have not been able to determine their further studies. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of group guidance on the selection of further studies. This study uses a quantitative approach to the One Group Pretest Posttest experimental study. The results showed that the average score before the intervention was 71.00, while the average score after the intervention was 96.00. The significance result (two-sided) yields a value of 0.000. If the calculated t-value exceeds the t-value of the table or the significance value is below 0.05, then an alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted which indicates an influence. On the other hand, if the calculated t-value is less than the t-value of the table or the significance value is greater than 0.05, then the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and has no effect. The null hypothesis was rejected because the significance value (two-sided) was less than 0.05, meaning that there was a significant difference in the mean results before and after. Thus, a conclusion was obtained: The influence of group guidance of problem solving techniques on the selection of further studies of students

Abstract

This research aims to investigate and understand the psychological dynamics of perpetrators of premeditated murder, with a focus on a case study detailing the incident on 18 May 2020. This case involves a suspect, who traveled from Pandeglang Regency, Banten, to Lampung Province to celebrate Eid. This tragic event raises questions about the psychological factors that may have contributed to the perpetrator's decision to plan and carry out such violent acts. This research aims to identify and analyze the psychological factors involved in premeditated murder cases, provide further understanding of the perpetrator's motivation, and explore the impact on the victim and the surrounding environment. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with case study analysis. Data was collected through interviews with related parties, document analysis, and chronological reconstruction of events based on witness statements. In-depth analysis reveals that the psychological dynamics of perpetrators of premeditated murder involve factors of interpersonal conflict, trauma experiences, and lack of social support. Conflicts with family members, especially wives, as well as traumatic experiences related to the COVID-19 pandemic and social rejection, form the perpetrator's psychological background. The results of this research provide insight into the complexity of factors that influence perpetrator decisions and their impact on victims and the surrounding community.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is an influence between fear of missing out (FoMO) on impulsive purchases of online food delivery in generation Z. This research method uses a quantitative approach by looking at the causal relationship of a variable with 200 respondents with a birth range of 1997-2012, namely generation Z, who likes making purchases via online food delivery and often follows trends on social media, especially food trends, is a participant in this research. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire via Google Form and distributed online. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling. This study use two scales: the fear of missing out (FoMO) scale and the impulsive buying scale. The results of this research show that there is a significant positive influence (p < 0.05) between fear of missing out on impulsive purchases of online food delivery in generation Z. This means that the higher a person's FoMO value, the higher the impulse purchasing value. The results of this study can be a consideration for Generation Z individuals so that they are not easily influenced by trends on social media so that they can reduce impulse buying, especially through online food delivery.

Abstract

Readiness for marriage is an ability that every individual must have, because having readiness for marriage will help individuals to prepare themselves to overcome marriage problems in the future. This research was conducted with the aim of creating a measuring tool for marriage readiness. The research method used was a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods. In the qualitative stage, 4 participants aimed to explore the theme of marriage readiness. Meanwhile, in the quantitative stage there were 208 people with the aim of identifying psychometric properties (validity test and reliability test). Qualitative data was analyzed using open coding data techniques. Meanwhile, quantitative data was analyzed using content validity tests from expert judgment and construct validity tests using factorial validity with exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The reliability test in this study used Cronbach's Alpha with a reliability coefficient of 0.626. The results of the EFA Test show that there are new factors that can be used as a benchmark for marriage readiness, consisting of 8 factors and 18 items. Based on these psychometric tests, this marriage readiness measuring tool can be used to measure the level of marriage readiness of people in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study analyzes efforts to deal with aggressive behavior of klitih perpetrators in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) using Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Theory. Through a qualitative literature review of 30 articles (2010-2022), this study reveals that klitih is influenced by complex interactions between ecological systems. Key factors include family dynamics, peer influence, lack of school-family coordination, and normalization of violence in society. While existing interventions have shown positive results, a more holistic approach is needed. It was concluded that effective strategies must be multidimensional, involve multiple stakeholders and integrate interventions at all levels of the system. Recommendations include family strengthening programs, peer support, school-family collaboration, and public campaigns to change perceptions of youth violence.
