Abstract

Guidance by cadres to mothers on childcare within the CCD training was conducted in 2018. At that time, mothers exhibited positive attitudes and self-efficacy. However, two years later, the Covid-19 pandemic emerged, leading to a shift in circumstances and the discontinuation of the mentoring program. These changes could potentially alter the attitudes and self-efficacy that mothers possessed in caring for their children. This follow-up study aimed to examine the attitude and self efficacy of mother who participated in CCD training in Yogyakarta in 2018, comparing their status in 2022. This was a cross-sectional study. The respondents are mothers with children aged 4-6 years who have participated in mentoring by cadres during CCD training, totaling 57 individuals. The study employs attitude and GSES questionnaires adapted from Akhmadi's research (2021). Descriptive statistics are used to illustrate the findings, presenting data in terms of frequency, percentage, and mean. The mean score for maternal attitudes is (29.19), with (57.89%) categorized as less favorable and (42.10%) as favorable attitudes. The mean score for maternal self-efficacy is (30.38), with (68.42%) classified as low self-efficacy and (31.57%) as high self-efficacy. The research findings indicate a decline in maternal attitudes and self-efficacy in childcare post-CCD training in 2018.

Abstract

The Rebozo technique can facilitate the descent of the fetal head and cervical dilation by flexing and relaxing the pelvic floor muscles, allowing the fetal head to enter and move down the birth canal. This study aimed to analyze the differences in fetal head descent among pregnant women who received the Rebozo technique and its overall effect on fetal head descent at the Velia Medika Clinic, Cilandak, South Jakarta, in 2023.This quasi-experimental study utilized a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were third-trimester pregnant women at the Velia Medika Clinic. Data were analyzed using paired and independent sample t-tests. The study found that pregnant women in both the intervention and control groups generally had higher education levels, with 78.8% in the intervention group and 72.7% in the control group having at least a high school education. Additionally, the majority of participants were not employed, with 55.5% in the intervention group and 57.6% in the control group. The results indicated that the Rebozo technique significantly accelerates the descent of the fetal head during pregnancy. The independent t-test showed a value of ? = 0.00 ( 0.05), confirming a statistically significant relationship between the Rebozo technique and fetal head descent in third-trimester pregnant women. In conclusion, there are significant differences in fetal head descent between pregnant women who received the Rebozo technique and those who did not. Health workers, particularly midwives, should consider incorporating the Rebozo technique

Abstract

Globally, preeclampsia is still a problem, 10% of pregnant women throughout the world experience preeclampsia, and it is the cause of 76,000 maternal deaths and 500,000 infant deaths every year. Lampung Province is a province where the number of maternal deaths is still quite high, the latest IDHS data in 2018 shows The highest MMR was 818 people (87.99/100,000 KH) in Tanggamus Regency with a total of 16 deaths out of 10,000 births. The exact cause of pre-eclampsia is still not known for certain, so preeclampsia is called "the disease of theories”. The aim of this research is to determine the description of the risk factors for pre-eclampsia in Tanggamus Regency, Lampung. The research method in this first year used a quantitative research design with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was pregnant women in Tanggamus district, Lampung. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and anthropometric examination tools (BMI), data analysis in this study was the Univariate test, Bivariate uses the Chi square test and Multivariate uses the logistic regression test. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between age, parity, BMI, obesity, history of chronic disease, physical activity, nutritional status and attitude towards the incidence of pre-eclampsia with a p-value 0.05, while there is no relationship between the variables education, work, distance. pregnancy, eating patterns, smoking habits, ANC visits, family support, knowledge and economic status with the incidence of pre-eclampsia with a p-value 0.05. And the most dominant variable related to Cervical Cancer is History of Chronic Disease with a p-value of 0.000 and OR: 70.636. Pregnant women should diligently control for early detection so that therapy is given quickly and appropriately to prevent pregnancy complications even during delivery.

Abstract

In Indonesia, especially in rural areas, we often see supplementary feeding starting a few days after the baby is born. This habit is not good because giving additional food early can result in babies suffering from diarrhea more often, being easily allergic to certain food substances (7.5%), malnutrition or impaired child growth, decreased breast milk production. The aim of this study is to determine the factors that influence breastfeeding for babies aged less than 6 months at the Jagakarsa sub-district health center, South Jakarta in 2023.The survey design uses a cross sectional approach, namely the dependent variable and the independent variable are measured at the same time. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies aged less than 6 months in the Jagakarsa subdistrict health center, South Jakarta in 2023. Meanwhile, the sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The research results show the distribution of the frequency of breastfeeding for babies aged less than 6 months, where there are 44 mothers who breastfeed (64.9%), 45 mothers who have higher education (81.8%), 45 mothers who work. 40 people (97.6%), 55 people (78.6%) who did not receive family support, 49 people (70%) who received social support, 61 mothers who received husband support (87.1%) . There is a significant relationship between education (Pv = 0.015 with an OR of 0.194), employment (Pv = 0.000 with an OR of 56.667), and breastfeeding for babies aged less than 6 months. Meanwhile, the relationship that is not significant is social support (Pv= 1,000 with an OR of 00.865), husband's support (Pv=0.074 with an OR of 4.615), and family support (Pv=0.078 with an OR of 0.286).The analysis shows that several factors influence breastfeeding in babies aged less than 6 months. More recommended for parents/mothersIt is hoped to increase knowledge about breast milk through various sources of information. Keywords: Giving breast milk to babies aged less than 6 months.

Abstract

The cytoskeleton plays an important role in forming the cell framework and dynamics. The part that plays a role in supporting the spatial and mechanical functions of the cell is located in the cytoskeleton. Therefore, strategies to maintain the integrity and dynamics of the cytoskeleton have potential as therapies for age-related disorders. One thing that can be used to delay aging is metformin. Through AMPK activation, it can influence the cytoskeleton; namely, it can remodel the dynamics of the cytoskeleton by influencing structural changes in the actin cytoskeleton, which in turn will reduce the permeability of the filtration barrier in diabetic conditions and can increase insulin sensitivity, especially in old age, thereby delaying aging. In this review, we review the current understanding of the role played by the cytoskeleton in aging and review the opportunities and challenges for transitioning basic research into intervention development. Methods: Several major electronic databases, including PubMed, Scopus, and Cohcrane were used to select articles between April 2013 and April 2023. From the 8 existing literature, we present the activity of metformin as an aging delay. Cytoskeleton can change with age so it can affect the dynamics and structure of the cell. Metformin shows significant benefits, especially in delaying aging, through activation of the AMPK pathway so that it can increase the activity of mitochondria in producing ATP, which can affect the structure of the cytoskeleton. With this article on changes in the cytoskeleton with aging, it is hoped that insight into future research directions can be achieved.
