Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menemukan kesulitan dan faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan tersebut yang dihadapi mahasiswa semester tiga program studi pendidikan bahasa inggris universitas muhammadiyah palu dalam belajar present perfect tense. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester tiga program studi pendidikan bahasa inggris universitas muhammadiyah palu. Jumlahnya tujuh mahasiswa dalam satu kelas diambil dengan menggunakan total sampling technique.  Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan melakukan wawancara, daftar pertanyaan, dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiwa menghadapi beberapa kesulitan meliputi 1) kesulitan menggunakan regular dan irregular verb/chang verb-1 to verb-3; 2) kesulitan dalam membedakan kata bantu have/has yang benar; 3) kesulitan dalam membedakan antara present perfect tense dan simple past tense; 4)kesulitan dalam  menggunakan membuat kalimat afirmatif, negatif dan interogatif. Selanjutnya, faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan diantaranya 1) banyaknya tenses dalam bahasa inggris; 2) perbedaan struktur bahasa antara bahasa inggris dan bahasa Indonesia; 3) interferensi bahasa pertama (bahasa ibu) dan 4) kurang praktik dan pengulangan.Kata Kunci: Kesulitan, Tata Bahasa, Present Perfect Tense

Abstract

The number of early marriages in Central Kalimantan Province, Indonesia, has increased yearly. According to data from the Indonesian Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) and Office of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil), 14,540 couples married early between 2017 and 2021. This problem is caused by several factors, including teenagers' knowledge, parents' education, parents' income, parents' perceptions, and support from parents and peers. This research analyzes factors related to early marriage in Banama Tingang District, Pulang Pisau Regency. This quantitative study used a case-control design conducted in Banama Tingang District, Pulang Pisau Regency, in November 2022. The sample was determined using convenience or accidental sampling methods with 200 teenagers. The results of the Chi-Square analysis showed significant associations between early marriage and parental education (p=0.000) and parental income (p=0.022) but not with adolescent knowledge (p=1.000), parental perception (p=0.173), or parental and peer support (p=0.252). Logistic regression analysis revealed that parental education was the most dominant variable significantly associated with early marriage (p=0.000, Exp B=3.169). There was no significant relationship between adolescent knowledge, parental perception, or support from parents and peers with early marriage among adolescent girls in Banama Tingang District, Pulang Pisau Regency. In conclusion, parental education and income were found to be associated with the incidence of early marriage among young women in Banama Tingang District, Pulang Pisau Regency, with parental education being the most dominant factor.

Abstract

Sarana dan prasarana, penjaskes, evaluasi, kondisi, perbaikan. Sarana dan prasarana yang memadai sangat penting dalam mendukung program penjaskes yang efektif di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memecahkan kondisi sarana dan prasarana di SMPN 1 Pontianak serta mengidentifikasi tingkat kerusakan yang dialami oleh berbagai fasilitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung dengan menggunakan instrumen penilaian yang telah disusun sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar sarana dan prasarana berada dalam kondisi baik, namun terdapat beberapa barang yang mengalami kerusakan, terutama pada jaring keranjang, gawang sepak bola, dan beberapa peralatan senam. Kerusakan tersebut bervariasi dari ringan hingga berat. Diperlukan langkah-langkah perbaikan yang tepat untuk memastikan kelancaran dan keamanan pelaksanaan program penjaskes di SMPN 1 Pontianak. Dengan pemeliharaan yang baik, program penjaskes yang diharapkan dapat berjalan dengan lebih efektif dan berkualitas, serta memberikan manfaat yang maksimal bagi peserta didik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan kondisi sarana dan prasarana penjasorkes yang baik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi serta minat siswa dalam pembelajaran penjasorkes.

Abstract

The West Bandung OSIS Forum (FOBB) is a special forum or organization for West Bandung Regency OSIS administrators. FOBB can be a strategic and important forum in efforts to hone leadership, character, competence and literacy among West Bandung Regency students. The successful implementation of this FOBB is certainly not far from the leadership style of the FOBB currently in office. Therefore, the aim of this research is to identify and analyze the transformational leadership that occurs at the West Bandung OSIS Forum. The analysis carried out is based on the characteristics of transformational leaders which consist of ideal influence or charisma, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation and individual attention. The type of research carried out was qualitative research with the determination of informants using purposive sampling and data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The research results show that the leader of the West Bandung OSIS Forum has implemented transformational leadership, and meets every characteristic of a transformational leader, however the transformational leadership that has been implemented still needs to be maximized so that the forum and members can continue to develop. Abstract

Mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Pasir Baru berusaha meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi mereka di tingkat sekolah melalui program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tinjauan literatur tentang bagaimana program KKN yang dilakukan oleh siswa untuk meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Cibangban dan SMP Satu Atap Cisolok Desa Pasir Baru, Kecamatan Cisolok, berhasil meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Desa Pasir Baru. Metode kualitatif, yang melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini. Selanjutnya, metode kuantitatif diterapkan dengan memeriksa hasil ulangan harian siswa, yang menunjukkan bahwa mereka belum mencapai kompetensi dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dan Gerakan Nasional Bangga Membaca (Gernas Baca) sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi siswa. Penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa sekolah termotivasi untuk mempertahankan program ini untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

Digital investment platforms have made various investment instruments increasingly accessible to younger generations in Indonesia, yet concerns persist about how financial literacy levels impact investment decision-making. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy on investment decisions among Generation Y (millennials) and Generation Z in Indonesia, with financial literacy serving as a moderating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach through a survey of 300 respondents from both generations. Analysis of the data revealed that financial literacy significantly influenced investment decisions, with individuals possessing higher financial literacy demonstrating more measured and information-based investment choices compared to those with lower literacy levels. These findings have important implications for financial institutions, policymakers, and educational institutions in developing targeted financial education programs and risk management strategies for young investors. Based on these findings, this study recommends strengthening financial education initiatives for Generations Y and Z to promote more rational investment decision-making in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of attitudes, subjective norms and perception of behavior control on the entrepreneurial behavior of the younger generation in Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency with entrepreneurial intentions as an intervention. This study uses this research using a quantitative method and the PLS Structural equational modelling (SEM) statistical test will be used for verifiable analysis. The research was conducted in Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency with a total of 93 respondents. The results of the study show that entrepreneurial intention as an intervening variable has a positive value on the influence of Attitude Variables, Subjective Norms and Behavioral Control on Entrepreneurial Behavior Variables of the young generation in Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency. This means that the entrepreneurial intention variable as an intervening will strengthen the relationship between Attitude Variables, Subjective Norms and Behavioral Control to the Entrepreneurial Behavior Variables of the young generation in Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency, because indeed with a strong entrepreneurial intention, the young generation will focus their attention and will do something to their entrepreneurship so as to give rise to a business that runs in an organized and orderly manner and be able to see business opportunities with the right risk-taking. To foster an entrepreneurial attitude among young people in the Pangkalan Kuras District area is very important in creating a generation that not only appears in work, but is also able to create a generation that is able to create jobs and contribute to the economy. For this reason, in order for the attitude of the young generation in Pangkalan Kuras District to remain consistent in running the business that has been pursued so far, these young entrepreneurs must have a courageous attitude in taking risks and speed of decision-making to seize existing opportunities so that they can improve their business performance

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the economic value of the community through the utilization of oil palm leaf midribs that have been underutilized into export-valued handicraft products. Palm oil is a leading commodity in many regions in Indonesia, but the waste in the form of leaf midribs is often neglected. Through training and mentoring programs, the community is able to produce a variety of innovative new designs, following modern market trends. palm oil leaf midribs handicrafts not only have functional value but also a more attractive aesthetic value. In addition, this activity also includes education on international marketing strategies and export market access. The results of the activities showed an increase in community knowledge and skills in processing oil palm leaf midribs and an increase in economic income through marketing products to international markets. This activity is expected to be sustainable and become a model for local resource-based economic development.

Abstract

Low self-esteem is a self-concept disorder that often occurs in patients with mental disorders and psychosocial problems. This condition is characterized by feelings of worthlessness, lack of self-confidence, and withdrawal from the social environment. Non-pharmacological efforts that can help improve self-esteem are through drawing and make-up activities, which can stimulate self-expression and strengthen a positive body image. To determine the effect of implementing drawing and make-up activities on reducing signs and symptoms in patients with low self-esteem in the work area of ​​​​the UPTD PKM Koncara. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of nurses in the work area of ​​​​the UPTD PKM Koncara Purwakarta Regency in implementing drawing and make-up activities to reduce signs and symptoms in patients with low self-esteem. The method of implementation of the activity used a lecture and demonstration approach. The activity participants were 20 people consisting of nurses. Evaluation was carried out using a pre-test and post-test to assess the increase in knowledge, as well as observation of skills during simulation practice. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge from an average value of 58% (pre-test) to 89% (post-test). Furthermore, 90% of participants were able to simulate chest compressions and artificial ventilation using the correct technique. Participants also demonstrated high enthusiasm in participating in all activities. Socialization of the application of drawing and make-up activities to reduce signs and symptoms in patients with low self-esteem was proven effective in increasing nurses' knowledge and skills in reducing signs and symptoms of low self-esteem. This therapy can be used as an alternative nursing intervention in group activity therapy programs in community health facilities

Abstract

Non-pharmacological efforts that can help improve self-esteem are through drawing and makeup activities, which can stimulate self-expression and strengthen a positive body image. To determine the effect of implementing drawing and makeup activities on reducing signs and symptoms in patients with low self-esteem in the work area of ​​​​the UPTD PKM Koncara. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 20 respondents who were selected purposively. Data collection was carried out using an observation sheet for signs and symptoms of low self-esteem based on the SDKI (2019) guidelines. The intervention was carried out for two days: the first day was expressive drawing activities, the second day was makeup activities. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Results The average score of signs and symptoms of low self-esteem before the intervention was 15.20, and after the intervention decreased to 8.30. The Wilcoxon test results showed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of drawing and makeup activities on reducing signs and symptoms of low self-esteem. Conclusion: Drawing and makeup activities effectively reduce signs and symptoms of low self-esteem. This therapy can be used as an alternative nursing intervention in group activity therapy programs in community health facilities.
