Abstract

In a manufacturing company, preventive maintenance is one of the scheduled programs implemented to reduce the risk of damage, downtime, and repair costs, thus the production targets can be achieved optimally. So that PT. Trimitra Chitrahasta can become a reliable automotive component manufacturer and be able to compete in the Southeast Asia region in the field of Metal Stamping and Die Making. An integrated maintenance system needs to be developed to increase the achievement of the company's production targets. A web-based information system has been created to support the development of a maintenance system which includes features such as master data image, machine data, and master data person in charge, category, master data description, master data sheet, machine inspection, and daily machine reports. The development methods used are Rapid Application Development (RAD) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) to design business processes. The system implementation uses the Laravel framework PHP, HTML, and MySQL as the database. The analysis results show that the application of a web-based information system can increase the effectiveness of managing preventive machine inspections. The number of documented working days increased significantly, which indicates improved inspection discipline. The frequency of machine downtime was reduced, reducing additional costs for repairs, and mold production target achievement increased from 90% to 100%, indicating increased production efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to design a user interface for the Brimen document borrowing/returning registration application by implementing the user centered design (UCD) method at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. Especially the A.rivai Palembang Branch. This destop application design was created because the customer document borrowing/returning registration system in the Brimen division is currently still done manually using an A5 book, this is considered not very effective and efficient because miscommunication often occurs when documents have been borrowed without registering, in addition, searching for the location of customer documents and storing register data still involves Microsoft Excel so that this system is still less flexible when operated by ADK officers or Brimen employees. By optimizing the user interface design, namely the User Interface through an approach using the User Centered Design (UCD) method, it is hoped that the designed application can provide a better user experience and support operational efficiency in managing Brimen customer debtor data archives. There are several phases including understanding the use of the application, analyzing user needs in depth, creating responsive design solutions, and continuous evaluation and testing. By carrying out these phases, researchers can find and solve existing problems and create user interface (UI) designs that respond to user expectations and desires. This test involved 10 users using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The results showed that the Brimen Customer/Debtor Document Register Destop Application obtained an average score of 76.5 on the SUS survey. This value illustrates good user satisfaction and the application design meets user needs. Therefore, the design of this application can provide an optimal experience that better meets user needs.

Abstract

PT. Toa Galva Industries is a company that has been established for more than 47 years, which still uses a manual inventory system such as recording goods data and data on goods in and out using ledgers, causing work to be less efficient and inaccurate. To find out what goods the company owns, the admin must check the goods files one by one so that they are prone to errors in the process. Therefore, it is necessary to create a website-based inventory information system application system that helps companies improve the efficiency and effectiveness of goods management. This system is designed to store data on incoming and outgoing goods and create stock reports quickly and accurately. The Waterfall method is used in designing this system because it has a clear and structured flow, where each stage must be completed before moving on to the next stage. And using the Black Box Testing method. The research results show that this system can help companies manage stock of goods effectively and efficiently, as well as provide fast and accurate reports on goods produced.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become a trend in all aspects of life, following the flow of contemporary information technology development, from business practitioners to government sectors. If the tourism sector is well-managed and developed, it can significantly contribute to the nation's financial resources. However, until now, tourist attractions, including natural, cultural, and historical sites in Biluhu Timur Village, have not been well-publicized. As a result, the available tourism information is not well-known to the broader public and tourists. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based tourism information system that facilitates tourists and the community in accessing tourism information in Biluhu Timur Village, Batudaa Pantai District. The method used is Agile. The system is designed using PHP and HTML programming languages, with MySQL as the database. For modeling, Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used. The system testing, performed using black-box testing, yielded results that met the expectations.

Abstract

Money is widely accepted and trusted by society as a medium of payment or transaction, facilitating the exchange of goods and services. In everyday life, individuals face daily expenses that need effective management. The lack of awareness and knowledge about the importance of financial planning and management among students and young adults leads to significant financial problems. This study aims to design a financial management application with a focus on user-friendly and enjoyable UI/UX design. The application will help users manage their income, expenses, and savings efficiently. Key features include daily transaction records, bill payment reminders, expense analysis, and financial tips to achieve financial goals. The goal is to enable users to handle their finances more wisely. By applying the Design Thinking method, the research addresses complex financial management issues innovatively and comprehensively. Results from usability testing indicate that screens like the Select Category achieved a perfect usability score of 100, while others like the Expense Pages showed recurring issues with high misclick rates, highlighting areas for improvement. Overall, the average usability score was 75, suggesting room for enhancement.

Abstract

Tsukamoto fuzzy logic method is used to measure the level of customer satisfaction at Mixue Restaurant. The background of this study is the importance of understanding and improving customer satisfaction in the highly competitive restaurant industry. Mixue attracts the attention of many people, especially students, as one of the restaurants that offers contemporary drinks at affordable prices. Mixue Jamin Ginting, Medan, questionnaires were distributed to 100 people to conduct this study. The variables analyzed were service quality, location, price, and facilities. By using the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method, consumer satisfaction values ​​in fuzzy sets such as "very satisfied", "satisfied", and "dissatisfied" were created. The results showed that the level of customer satisfaction was influenced by complete facilities, low prices, strategic location, and friendly service. This study improves Mixue management's understanding of consumer expectations and needs and the development of science in the application of fuzzy logic to consumer satisfaction analysis. The Tsukamoto fuzzy method allows for a more in-depth analysis of consumer preferences and perceptions, and helps in creating appropriate improvement strategies to improve Mixue consumer satisfaction. In a study to determine the level of consumer satisfaction at Mixue Tuntungan Deli Serdang using the fuzzy tsukamoto technique, the numerical value of the facility variable was found to be 71, the price variable was 61, the service quality facility was 58 and the location variable was 52.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and apply the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in the context of determining motor oil brands, collect and process data on motor oil alternatives available on the market and evaluate the results of motor oil selection using the SAW method. This research identifies research variables adopted based on motorcycle engine oil criteria using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. There are four variables that form the basis of evaluation to determine the most popular shockbreaker brand: Size (C1), Type (C2), Viscosity (C3), Price (C4). The results of the study concluded that through the integration of the SAW method, researchers succeeded in building a comprehensive framework for evaluating relevant criteria in oil selection. The test results show that SAW is able to provide relative weights for each criterion used in this study and successfully rank oil alternatives based on the normalized value of each criterion. Based on the calculation results shown in the decision support system application, the first recommendation is Enduro Matic V followed by Yamalube Engine Oil Super Matic with a value of 1 and Shell Advance AX7 Scooter at rank 2 with a value of 0.96 and rank 3 AHM Oil Matic SPXX2 with a value of 0.863. The application that has been designed has a fairly good page display so that it provides convenience to users.

Abstract

Rapid technological developments demand innovation and creativity in utilizing and creating new solutions. This also applies to PT Xyz, which is facing digital transformation to integrate its systems. One of the challenges faced is that the packaging monitoring process is still carried out manually using queries on the database, causing limited access and lack of work efficiency Since the only individual with access to the database is the IT division. Research was carried out to build a web-based platform intended for monitoring packaging processes results using barcode numbers where there are 3 packages used, namely small cover, large cover and box cover. This system was developed using the waterfall methodology and SQL Server for the database. It aims to simplify data access for employees, reducing their dependence on the IT department, and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of their workflow by allowing direct data monitoring. Unified Modeling Language (UML) was utilized for system design modeling. The research outcomes include the integration of the packaging monitoring system with current packaging applications. Blackbox testing was employed, and the results confirmed that the barcode-based packaging monitoring system operated correctly without any errors.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the clustering of staple food sales at PT. Sinarmas Distribusi Nusantara using the K-Means Clustering method. The main problem faced by the company is the lack of clarity in identifying which products have high sales performance and which products require more attention. This issue negatively impacts the effectiveness of the company's marketing and distribution strategies. The K-Means Clustering method is used to divide the sales data of staple food products into several clusters based on the similarity of their characteristics. Sales data is collected and analyzed to group products based on their sales levels. The research results show that out of all the products studied, 5 products fall into the "Fast-Selling" category, 2 products into the "Slow-Selling" category, and 51 products into the "Non-Selling" category. Evaluation of the clustering results using the Davies-Bouldin index yielded a value of 0.8911, indicating a reasonably good clustering quality. In conclusion, the K-Means Clustering method is effective in identifying sales patterns of staple food products, thus providing a basis for strategic decision-making in sales management.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal is one of the efforts made by the company so that employees work well and produce high quality and dedicated employees. However, the assessment process that does not use assessment criteria and parameters is considered less objective because it assesses the subjectivity of each employee in the process of selecting the best employee. Decision Support System (SPK) is a decision-making process assisted by a computer system. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is one of the methods in SPK that can evaluate employees based on alternatives and criteria and predetermined weights. The SAW method can process large and unlimited amounts of data. SAW method only gives the maximum value or the highest value as the best. The calculation process using SAW on the selection of the best employee is based on five criteria, namely attendance, responsibility, initiative, teamwork, and compliance. This Decision Making System (SPK) uses the Python programming language which is implemented using Google Collaboratorry so that it can be used anywhere as long as it is connected to the internet.
