Abstract

Sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis web merupakan solusi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan perpustakaan di era digital. Sistem ini dapat membantu mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perpustakaan SMP Karya Iman Lippo Cikarang, seperti pengelolaan data yang belum efektif, rentan terjadinya kesalahan dalam transaksi peminjaman dan pengembalian buku, serta tidak adanya informasi tentang posisi buku. Penelitian ini membahas perancangan dan implementasi sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis web di SMP Karya Iman Lippo Cikarang. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi terhadap kendala yang muncul dari sistem administrasi manual yang saat ini diterapkan. Dengan adopsi teknologi berbasis web, diharapkan pengelolaan data perpustakaan dapat dilakukan dengan lebih efisien, dan proses peminjaman serta pengembalian buku dapat dilakukan dengan lebih mudah dan cepat. Selain itu, sistem ini juga membawa manfaat akses online bagi pengguna, memungkinkan mereka mencari informasi buku tanpa terikat oleh batasan ruang dan waktu.Penelitian ini memiliki relevansi penting dalam konteks pengembangan perpustakaan di era digital. Melalui pembahasan perancangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi sistem ini, diharapkan akan memberikan kontribusi positif dan berkelanjutan terhadap pengembangan perpustakaan di sekolah ini

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the food sector are one of the important sectors in the Indonesian economy. However, many food MSMEs still face branding obstacles, making it difficult to compete in the market. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology can help improve brand knowledge for food MSMEs. This study aims to expand the brand knowledge of food MSMEs through the use of AI technology. This study was conducted using a seminar activity method as a form of socialization and assistance for partners. Training and assistance focused on the use of AI tools for branding such as, Social media analysis which aims to understand customer sentiment and market trends. Chatbots to provide better customer service and increase sales conversions. Targeted advertising aims to reach the right customers with the right message. Research shows that training and assistance using AI technology can significantly improve the brand knowledge of food MSMEs. This study contributes to expanding knowledge about food branding of MSMEs in Indonesia. The results of this study can be used by other food MSMEs to increase their competitiveness in the market.

Abstract

Era globalisasi memberikan dampak pada industri di seluruh dunia baik industri manufaktur maupun industri jasa. Persaingan global yang ketat merupakan salah satu dari berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi oleh produsen yang disebabkan oleh globalisasi. Akibatnya, perusahaan perlu melakukan inovasi untuk menjaga pasar tetap kompetitif. Salah satu strategi yang diterapkan oleh banyak perusahaan untuk meningkatkan daya saingnya adalah dengan menerapkan konsep Kaizen atau perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam organisasinya. Saat ini tidak semua perusahaan menerapkan prinsip Kaizen dikarenakan adanya kendala terkait sumber daya manusia dan investasi. Perusahaan tersebut belum menyadari adanya kekuatan prinsip Kaizen dalam eksistensi perusahaan sehingga perusahaan tersebut tinggal menunggu waktu untuk tidak beroperasi lagi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan terkait penerapan prinsip Kaizen pada perusahaan manufaktur ataupun jasa dalam eksistensi perusahaan di era globalisasi. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini dengan melakukan pelatihan secara daring dan luring selama 1 hari. Pengabdian ini menemukan bahwa resistensi terhadap perubahan, kegagalan memotivasi karyawan, kurangnya pemahaman tentang jalur strategis perusahaan, dan kesulitan dalam mengelola perbaikan berkelanjutan merupakan tantangan dalam menerapkan Kaizen. Melalui penerapan pendekatan 5S, PDCA, DMAIC dan 3M yang mempunyai prinsip Kaizen atau perbaikan berkelanjutan dapat membuat perusahaan lebih menyadari dan peduli terhadap penerapan prinsip Kaizen. Sehingga dengan kekuatan prinsip Kaizen perusahaan dapat eksis dalam menjalankan operasionalnya dan dapat menghasilkan profit sesuai target perusahaan.

Abstract

Senior High School Global Mulia is one of the schools in Bekasi district. This school is a formal education facility that equips students with knowledge, skills and socialization abilities in society. Therefore, each vocational school has a special agency to handle job placement for graduates, namely the Special Job Exchange (BKK). In this case, the implementation of BKK SMK Global Mulia's duties encountered problems when distributing job vacancy information and job registration information. The job registration process at BKK SMK Global Mulia is still done manually. Based on these problems, this web-based Special Job Exchange Information System is designed for job distribution, managing applicant data and information on calling for selection tests for companies that require it. The system was developed using the waterfall method using the PHP programming language and MySQL database manager. With this special job market information system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for job seekers to obtain more effective information and make it easier for officers to manage BKK.

Abstract

Fulfilling orders from the automotive industry customers is a necessity. Problems arising from product delivery to customers are due to production delays, decreased production yields, and environmental pollution caused by production waste. The production process often experiences wasted time producing four-wheeled vehicle spare parts and a high percentage of production defects. This research aims to reduce production process time, provide solutions to reduce waste, and balance production stock according to customer orders. This research uses the Lean Manufacturing (LM) approach with the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method combined with the Green Manufacturing (GM) approach with the Just in Time (JIT) and Kanban methods. This research resulted in the production process time for four-wheeled vehicle spare parts decreasing from 11.0 days to 4.5 days, meaning a decrease of 159%. It affected production results, increasing from average monthly production of 42,917 pcs to 59,990 pcs, meaning an increase of 128%. Meanwhile, the shipment plan target has been achieved at 96% of the plan order. Meanwhile, Turn Over Inventory (TOI) results are under 30 days, so customer order continuity exists.

Abstract

Publikasi merupakan suatu kewajiban bagi seluruh insan akademisi. Melalui publikasi, suatu karya, produk ataupun jasa yang dihasilkan lewat penelitian dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat. Namun, untuk melakukan publikasi tidaklah mudah, karena banyak parameter atau sistem pada jurnal tersebut untuk menyusun karya ilmiah. Salah satunya penggunaan Open Journal System (OJS) 3 yang harus digunakan oleh author dan reviewer pada saat publikasi karya ilmiah. Keterbatasan dalam pengetahuan implementasi OJS 3 dalam mendukung publikasi akan menyulitkan untuk menerbitkan artikel di jurnal bereputasi. Makalah ini disusun untuk mengungkapkan tantangan pengembangan publikasi ilmiah melalui workshop OJS 3 sebagai pendukungnya. Oleh karena itu, Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan author dan reviewer dalam publikasi karya ilmiah, sehingga tahapan pada OJS 3 dapat diselesaikan dengan baik. Kebaruan makalah ini adalah mengintegrasikan pelatihan OJS 3 pendukung publikasi dalam satu workshop. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui pelatihan/workshop secara hybrid. Peserta terbagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu daring secara Zoom dan luring di Ruang Seminar. Sasaran kegiatan ini khususnya adalah seluruh mahasiswa, dosen Fakultas Teknik Universitas Borobudur dan umumnya untuk universitas lainnya. Hasil Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini memberikan manfaat kepada seluruh sivitas Fakultas Teknik dalam menyusun karya ilmiah. Peserta telah mampu mengoperasikan OJS 3 melalui pendaftaran artikel (mulai, upload submission, enter metadata, confirmation dan next step). Sementara untuk reviewer sudah mampu melaksanakan OJS 3 melalui tahapan (request for review, guidelines, download and review, completion). Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memberikan strategi baru untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas publikasi para mahasiswa dan dosen Fakultas Teknik.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa serta civitas akademika ASM Insulindo dalam memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai sarana pemasaran yang efektif di era digital. Di tengah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi, media sosial seperti Instagram, TikTok, dan Facebook telah menjadi platform strategis dalam memperluas jangkauan bisnis dan membangun brand awareness. Namun, pemanfaatannya masih belum optimal di kalangan mahasiswa yang memiliki potensi besar sebagai digital marketer. Melalui pelatihan ini, peserta dibekali dengan pengetahuan dasar mengenai digital marketing, strategi konten kreatif, penggunaan fitur-fitur iklan media sosial, serta analisis performa pemasaran digital. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi interaktif, praktik langsung, dan studi kasus. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap teknik pemasaran digital serta kemampuan membuat dan mengelola konten promosi secara mandiri. Diharapkan pelatihan ini dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam menciptakan wirausahawan muda yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi digital.

Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death among women in Indonesia. Therefore, early detection is crucial to improving the chances of successful treatment. This study was conducted to evaluate the performance differences between the Naïve Bayes and Random Forest algorithms in classifying breast cancer data. The dataset used was sourced from Kaggle, and the entire data processing and model analysis process was performed using RapidMiner software. Data was split into 80% for training and 20% for testing to ensure optimal model evaluation. Evaluation was conducted using accuracy, precision, and recall metrics. The findings of this study indicate that Random Forest is capable of producing more effective classification performance than Naïve Bayes. Random Forest achieved an accuracy of 99.27%, recall of 99.27%, and precision of 99.30%. Meanwhile, the Naïve Bayes algorithm only achieved an accuracy of 83.78% with recall and precision of 83.80% each. The superiority of Random Forest is believed to stem from its ensemble approach, which can handle data complexity and reduce the risk of overfitting, thereby providing more accurate and stable prediction results. Based on these results, Random Forest is considered more suitable for use in machine learning-based early breast cancer detection systems. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the development of medical decision support systems and to encourage the use of classification technology in the field of health.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze public sentiment towards candidates for the 2024 Governor of DKI Jakarta through the Twitter platform, with a focus on classifying positive and negative sentiment. Along with the rapid development of social media, Twitter has become the main channel for people to voice political opinions. Sentiment analysis was conducted using the Naive Bayes algorithm to classify the sentiment of tweets collected through crawling techniques during the campaign period. The data used includes user tweets, with features such as frequently occurring words, popular hashtags, and discussion topics related to each gubernatorial candidate. The results showed that the Naive Bayes algorithm provided the best performance in classifying sentiment data in the period August 1 to December 26, 2024, with the highest accuracy rate reaching 75% at a data ratio of 90:10. This research also identified challenges in sentiment classification, such as the presence of new terms in test documents that are not recognized by the training model. The findings are expected to provide a clearer picture of public perceptions of gubernatorial candidates and contribute to the analysis of political sentiment on social media

Abstract

PT. Toa Galva Industries is a company that has been established for more than 47 years, which still uses a manual inventory system such as recording goods data and data on goods in and out using ledgers, causing work to be less efficient and inaccurate. To find out what goods the company owns, the admin must check the goods files one by one so that they are prone to errors in the process. Therefore, it is necessary to create a website-based inventory information system application system that helps companies improve the efficiency and effectiveness of goods management. This system is designed to store data on incoming and outgoing goods and create stock reports quickly and accurately. The Waterfall method is used in designing this system because it has a clear and structured flow, where each stage must be completed before moving on to the next stage. And using the Black Box Testing method. The research results show that this system can help companies manage stock of goods effectively and efficiently, as well as provide fast and accurate reports on goods produced.
