Abstract

Community service, which is one of the university's chess dharma activities, is in conjunction with the program freedom to study independent campus (MBKM) aims to provide assistance in the realization of a school waste bank (BSS) for SDN I Kaliwadas Cirebon Regency in the post-pandemic as an effort to bring eco-literacy in the school environment. The method adopted in the implementation of this service is to use online and offline methods, in the form of technical and non-technical assistance for various needs for school waste bank installation equipment. Completion of mentoring activities includes socialization of waste processing mechanisms and school waste bank management. In this way, the existence of a school waste bank in the post-pandemic era has a fairly effective impact in presenting waste as a source of learning for students on the one hand, and presenting a strategy in suppressing the distribution of waste in the community, of course based on the populist economy on the other hand

Abstract

The Merdeka curriculum has a focus on the quality of learning rather than quantity. The Merdeka curriculum focuses on a project-based learning model. Based on interviews and observations with elementary school teachers in Selo, Boyolali, most admitted that they had not been able to understand, and implement the project-based learning (PjBL) model in the Merdeka curriculum and that most teachers had not been able to make Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila using project-based learning models. The goal to be achieved from this service program is to provide understanding and skills in implementing project-based learning models in the independent curriculum. The method of implementing the service includes (1) the approach method which is carried out starting from the survey, licensing, and motivational stages for teachers who will take part in the training (2) the method of implementing the program, including the preliminary stage, the socialization and audience stages, the implementation stage, and the final evaluation stage. The results of the analysis show that there is an increase in the teacher's ability to understand the project-based learning model in the Merdeka curriculum. The pretest and posttest scores showed an increase from 43.43 to 70.86. In addition, 35 teachers attended and successfully implemented the model, exceeding the set target. Teachers also gave positive responses to training on the implementation of the project-based learning model, which they considered to be very much needed in the development of an Merdeka curriculum. They feel the benefits of community service activities because they can increase their scientific insights and learn at school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yakni mendeskripsikan program Gaharu di kelurahan Argasunya, Kota Cirebon dan menjelaskan dampak program Gaharu di Kelurahan Argasunya , Kota Cirebon terhadap penguatan literasi anak dan keberfungsian keluarga. Penelitian ini sangat urgen dilakukan karena belum adanya kesadaran terhadap pentingnya penguatan literasi pada anak dan keberfungsian keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif etnografi. Lokasi penelitian yaitu di Kelurahan Argasunya, Kecamatan Harjamukti, Kota Cirebon. Sumber data penelitian berupa pelaksanaan program Gaharu pada warga Argasunya. Sementara itu, data penelitian adalah penggalan tuturan warga pelaksana Gaharu dan pengamatan program Gaharu. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara tidak  terstruktur, pedoman catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi berupa visual dan audio visual. Selanjutnya, data analisis secara kualitatif dengan tahapan pengumpulan data lapangan dan tinjauan pustaka, verifikasi data melalui klarifikasi berdasarkan kategori tertentu, interpretasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi program Gaharu dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan 5 M. Dengan penerapan yang konsisten diharapkan mampu memperkuat minat baca pada anak di Argasunya. Dampak Gaharu memantik keluarga di Argasunya, Kota Cirebon untuk menumbuhkan dan memperkokoh minat baca anak. Keluarga turut menyediakan buku-buku yang menarik, memperkenalkan anak pada perpustakaan, bahkan mengajak sekaligus mendampingi anak untuk membaca di teras baca gratis. Dengan adanya orang tua yang turut mendampingi anak dalam kegiatan literasi, anak akan semakin bersemangat dan tergerak untuk terus membaca.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka adalah kurikulum dengan pembelajaran intrakurikuler yang beragam di mana konten akan lebih optimal agar peserta didik memiliki cukup waktu untuk mendalami konsep dan menguatkan kompetensi. Guru memiliki keleluasaan untuk memilih berbagai perangkat ajar sehingga pembelajaran dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan belajar dan minat peserta didik. Dengan demikian menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi guru sebagai pelaksana kurikulum untuk menjabarakan dan mengimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memberikan pemahaman dan penguatan wawasan tantangan apa saja yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka.  Kegiatan menggunakan model seminar dengan metode ceramah dengan penguat tanya jawab dan refleksi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa peserta menunjukan tingkat pemahaman yang baik setelah selesai mengikuti kegiatan, serta peserta lebih siap dalam menghadapi tantangan dalam pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to enhance the understanding and skills of teachers at TK Labschool UMC and Daycare UMC regarding the Merdeka PAUD Curriculum and the development of interactive digital media teaching modules using augmented reality. Conducted as an empowerment-based community service, the activities took place at TK Labschool UMC over an intensive period of 2 months with three training sessions. The method involved the entire teacher population, utilizing purposive sampling techniques. The results indicated an improvement in the understanding of the principles of the Merdeka PAUD Curriculum, the ability of teachers to develop a distinctive curriculum for TK Labschool UMC, and their competence in creating teaching modules and integrating augmented reality technology into the learning process. The conclusion affirms that this community service has successfully empowered teachers, resulting in a positive impact on early childhood education

Abstract

Guru masih memiliki kemampuan menulis ilmiah yang rendah karena belum memahami konsep tulisan ilmiah dan pengembangan profesionalisme yang berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait publikasi di jurnal daring sebagai hasil penelitian tindakan kelas. Adapun tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi guru Bahasa Indonesia dalam melakukan publikasi di jurnal berbasis Open Journal System (OJS). Metode pendampingan menggunakan Participation Action Research (PAR), yakni dengan partisipasi aktif para guru.Pendampingan dilakukan sebanyak empat kali, dari 23 Juli sampai 20 Agustus 2022. Peserta pendampingan adalah 24 guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Madrasah Tsanawiyah se-Kota Cirebon, baik negeri maupun swasta. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa guru belum memiliki motivasi terkait publikasi ilmiah. Berbagai kendala yang dialami para guru karena faktor: 1) dukungan dari pihak sekolah, 2) keterbatasan waktu, 3) keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang penelitian tindakan kelas, dan 4) keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang artikel ilmiah. Alhasil, pendampingan ini kurang berhasil karena peserta tidak mengikuti pendampingan secara berkelanjutan. Terdapat dua hal yang perlu diperhatikan agar pendampingan berjalan efektif, yakni 1) kepala sekolah hendaknya memberi fasilitas kepada guru dalam rangka pengembangan keprofesionalan berkelanjutan dan 2) jumlah pendampingan perlu ditambah agar benar-benar sesuai dengan kondisi guru.

Abstract

Empowerment is the principle of maximizing the potential of the individual and the environment in order to make more valuable benefits in improving the well-being of the self, the family and the community. Housekeeping becomes profitable when the land is used and managed properly. Market management will be more creative and innovative if training and support are first done. The next step is the Women's Party (KWT) and the people around it can follow up by planting a variety of vegetables and the like in the courtyard of the house. The purpose of the dedication is to open up the insights and knowledge of the peasant women's group in the use of the home market and to foster creativity and innovation in the utilization of the house market to be more productive. The materials needed were vegetable plants, fertilizers, plastic polybags, mulches, nets, water pumps. The methods used are supporting, training, focus group discussion. (FGD). The result of the training activities is the growing awareness of the Women's Group and the community to take advantage of the home market. The participants were equipped with theory and also practiced growing vegetables and methods of maintenance and fertilization. They're quite enthusiastic about the activity. The conclusion is that the Women's Group and the citizens are pleased to be given training and support on the use of the home market. The use of the marketplace in addition to promoting a healthy lifestyle also creates a clean and healthy home market environment.

Abstract

Building a social economy is an effort to alleviate poverty in society, by providing knowledge and skills to the community, one of the efforts made is providing training in managing the assets and potential that exist in Tajuncu village, Soppeng Regency. This PKM activity aims to provide understanding and skills to the community in Tajuncu village about processing Patin fish and marketing Shredded Patin fish products. PKM activities use the ABCD approach to find assets or potential natural resources that exist in the community and its environment. Based on the aim of the PKM activity, to produce knowledge of Patin fish processing skills in the form of shredded Patin fish products, to follow up on these shredded products, then continue by providing understanding and skills in marketing shredded Patin fish products, so that the processed products can be marketed both locally and nationally

Abstract

POPULAR SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE WRITING HABITUATION FOR ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE CIREBON REGION. This community service activity aims to provide education to Islamic boarding school teachers about writing popular scientific papers, techniques for writing popular scientific papers and improving the ability of Islamic boarding school teachers to compose and publish popular scientific papers. The methods used are lecture, discussion, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation methods. The material presented is an explanation of popular scientific works, techniques for writing popular scientific works, and the preparation of popular scientific works. The results obtained from this activity are an increase in the knowledge and skills of Islamic boarding school teachers in writing popular scientific articles, which is proven in the form of book publications. This activity concluded that the training in writing popular scientific works provided education for the training participants consisting of Islamic boarding school teachers in the Cirebon area about popular scientific works and techniques for preparing popular scientific works, as well as the practice of writing popular scientific works published in a book.

Abstract

PROVIDING A PLAYGROUND AS AN EFFORT TO REDUCE SMARTPHONE ADDICTION AMONG KINDERGARTENAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN WONOKOYO VILLAGE, SITUBONDO REGENCY. Playground is a means oflearning and playing for children in the digital era. The problem identified in the Wonokoyo Village community is the widespread use ofsmartphones among children. Children in Wonokoyo Village always play online games and forget about other mandatory activities.Therefore, we UNEJ UMD KKN students in a group of 150 held a playground and a reading corner with the aim of reducing the use ofsmartphones in children. The target of the playground is early childhood, kindergarten and elementary school students in WonokoyoVillage, Kapongan District, Situbondo Regency. The implementation of this work program begins with playing together and introducingtraditional games. In addition, we also provide education about cleanliness and moral education. The result of this work program activityis the establishment of a Playground which is placed at the Dahlia Wonokoyo Early Childhood School so that it can reduce the level ofsmartphone use in children.
