Abstract

This research was aimed to examine empirically the effect of service quality digital library on Reading interest. The analysis used an independent variable (Quality Service Digital Library) and dependent variable (Reading Interest). The sample was conducted by purposive sampling method. This study location at perpustakaan PEMKO Medan Jalan Iskandar Muda Collecting data was conducted by a questionnaire distributed directly to responden and visitor as much 30 questionnaires. The statistical method used was multiplied analysis linear regression, with hypotheses testing of statistic t-tests. The result of this research showed that There is a significant positive influence between the quality of digital library services on students' reading interest in the regional library of Medan City (Library and Archives Service). Obtained based on the significance value that by partial test the significance value of t is 0.001 < than 0.05 this value shows the t value is smaller than the significance value of 0.05.

Abstract

Lots of library processing applications can be used to support students in completing their final assignments, one of which is through Mendeley. Mendeley is an application that has the ability to process scientific databases in the form of e-books, e-journals, and other libraries. Mendeley is claimed to be important in writing the final project because reference management can make it easier for the civitas academica to cite citations as well as good reference management and can minimize plagiarism. This study discusses the Utilization of the Mendeley Application in Writing Final Projects by Library Science Study Program Students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra in writing scientific articles for Library Science study program students. This study aims to find out how to use Mendeley in writing their final assignment by Library Science students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. This research method uses qualitative methods with observation and interview approaches. The research subjects were students of the 2019 Library Science study program who were writing their final assignment.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a far-reaching impact on various economic sectors around the world. Accountants, as key players in the financial and business systems, face significant challenges in dealing with the profound changes taking place in the global economy. This study aims to investigate the adaptation of tasks performed by an accountant during the economic recovery amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This study focuses on the role of accountants in assisting companies, organizations and their clients to deal with the challenges and opportunities faced due to prolonged crisis situations. Through qualitative analysis and a review of the literature, this study identified a number of adaptation strategies adopted by accountants to overcome the challenges faced during the economic recovery during the pandemic. The three key findings are flexibility, technology and financial strategy. First, flexibility is an important quality that must be possessed by an accountant. The pandemic has caused rapid and unpredictable fluctuations in business situations, and accountants must be able to quickly adjust to these changes. The ability to make plans and change them according to changes in the environment is the key to surviving and adapting to uncertain circumstances. Second, technology has become an important tool in adapting accountants' duties during a pandemic. The use of high-tech accounting systems, financial applications, and virtual collaboration tools has become imperative for accountants to remain productive and efficient while working remotely. Technology also plays an important role in providing real-time access to financial data, which enables accountants to make informed and accurate decisions. Third, a smart financial strategy is key in helping companies and clients face the challenges of economic recovery. The accountant should act as a trusted financial advisor, providing in-depth insight into short and long term financial planning and assisting in identifying new opportunities for business growth. In addition, accountants must be able to develop effective risk management strategies, anticipate potential financial problems, and provide timely solutions.

Abstract

In an effort to make the nation's life more intelligent, one of the activities that KKN students need to carry out is activities in the field of education. KKN students are expected to be able to develop various community service activity programs, one of which also touches on educational aspects. One of the locations chosen was Purbasari Village, Tapian Dolok District, Simalungun Regency as a KKN location. Judging from the type of information, the research approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. This research shows that the KKN-32 group plays a good and influential role for village communities and for educational institutions in the village in improving children's education in the village and empowering the community. In this case, the KKN-32 group in Purbasari Village, Tapian Dolok District, Simalungun Regency has a good role in helping the community and village educational institutions in improving education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of management functions in da'wah activities at the Al-Musannif mosque in Medan and to see how the implementation of da'wah activities uses social media at the Al-Musannif mosque in Medan. This study used qualitative research methods. The type of data used in this research analysis is qualitative data and the data source used for this research is library research. Using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. There are data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of management functions in da'wah activities at the Al-Musannif Mosque in Medan consists of four elements, namely planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. The implementation of da'wah activities using social media at the Al-Musannif mosque in Medan was carried out very well and regularly. Starting from Facebook called @Masjid Al-Musannif, Instagram @Yayasan Haji Anif and YouTube @Yayasan Haji Anif. All activities that will be carried out will be shared on social media by distributing flyers on Facebook and Instagram, da'wah or recitation events will be uploaded on the YouTube account @Yayasan Haji Anif.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of authentic leadership, effective commitment, and job resourcefullness in shaping employee creativity and performance. The population in this researcher is all employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia (kcp Perbaungan). This research uses quantitative methods, the sample taken in this study was 35 respondents using the saturated sample method. The tool used is multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program. The results of the t test, the value of t count < t table where -1.199 < 2.03 with sig 0.240, meaning that authentic leadership has no effect in shaping creativity, 3.199 < 2.03 with sig 0.240, meaning authentic leadership has no effect in shaping creativity, 4.416 > 2.03 with sig 0. 000, meaning that effective commitment has a positive effect in shaping creativity, 5,366> 2.03 with sig 0.000, meaning effective commitment has a positive effect on performance, 3,611> 2.03 with sig 0.001, meaning job resourcefullness has a positive effect in shaping creativity, 3,522> 2.03 with sig 0.001, job resoucefullness has a positive effect in shaping performance. Authentic Leadership is an important leadership style for leaders in the Islamic bank industry in Indonesia. Authentic Leadership will increase the affective commitment of employees, and will increase the Job Resourcesullness of subordinates. affective commitment and Job Resourcesullness will shape employee creativity and performance.

Abstract

The application called Peduli Protect is a form of government policy to control and overcome various problems that arise due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Peduli Protect application aims at three main priorities, namely 1) protecting the public in accessing public facilities, 2) tracing people who are indicated to be exposed to Covid-19, and 3) information on mapping the zoning of exposure to Covid-19. One of the testing tools for the Cares Protect Application is the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), where the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) is used to describe the experience gained by the user or UX for satisfaction and usability in the visual appearance of the application, both text boxes, drop-down lists, and other components or commonly called UI when using App Care Protect device. In this study, the method used is combined, namely qualitative quantitative (where technical data collection is done by distributing questionnaires, where each response to each statement item in the questionnaire has a different assessment area and respondents are also required to fill in their demographic data). The total population in this study is 100 Respondents, and the samples taken of all the total population are 100 respondents too. The formulations in this study are 1) How to evaluate the user experience/UX in using the Peduli Protect Application with User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ)? While the objectives of this study are 1) to determine the results of the evaluation of user experience/UX in using the Cares Protect Application using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The results of the evaluation of user experience / user experience / UX using User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) in 6 aspects are attractiveness 0,06; clarity 0,53; efficiency 0,36; accuracy 0,17; stimulation 0,09; and novelty 0,01. This shows that all aspects of the user experience get a negative impression. The results of this study can be used as recommendations for designing the new Peduli Protect application user experience by innovating in various aspects.

Abstract

Lingga Village is one of the villages located in Simpang Empat District, Karo Regency with a Karo ethnic community. This ethnicity consists of various adherents of monotheistic religions such as Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, and Pentecostalism. Religion plays an important role in social life to regulate human life and direct it to goodness in the world. This research aims to obtain an understanding and description of religious moderation and religious harmony in Lingga Village. The research methods used in this research are field observation research methods, interviews, and case studies. The results of the research show that religious moderation in Lingga Village is not too low. Some local people know the concept and dynamics of religious moderation and if we look at inter-religious harmony, the people of Lingga Village really uphold harmony where mutual respect and respect for differences. Abstract

This research uses a phenomenological approach. The researcher uses a phenomenological approach in conducting this research. In simple terms, phenomenology is part of a qualitative methodology, with the title Application of Islamic Values ​​in Entrepreneurship in the Community at Ris One Bakery, Bandar Setia Tembung Village. The company is run with reference to Islamic values ​​where apart from gaining world profits, this company also does not exclude provisions for the afterlife. For example, when it comes to prayer time, all employees are required to join in congregational prayers, both midday prayers and Asr prayers, which are performed after all work is finished or before home time and if there is overtime, the prayers are performed alternately. Facilities and guidance are provided to improve employees' ability to read the Al-Qur'an by bringing in TPQ teachers which are conducted twice a week during break times. Employees are also facilitated in taking part in event programs held by the center, namely MESM (Mayangkara Spiritual Emotional Management) and there are also studies carried out in the Mayangkara employee chat group, employees who reply to these studies will later be recorded and given points and rewards.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of social capital in the context of village head leadership using the social capital theory framework proposed by Robert D. Putnam. This social capital includes three main elements: trust, social norms, and social networks. This study is a case study involving several villages in order to understand how social capital influences the leadership quality of village heads. Data was collected through interviews with village heads, community members and local stakeholders. Data analysis was carried out by identifying and evaluating the level of trust in society, the social norms that guide the village head's behavior, and the social networks built by the village head in carrying out his duties. The research results show that social capital has a significant impact on the leadership quality of village heads. Village heads who can build and maintain a high level of trust in their community tend to be more effective in carrying out their duties. In addition, social norms that value integrity and transparency in leadership have a positive influence on leadership quality. Strong social networks also help village heads access the resources and support needed to overcome challenges This study provides in-depth insight into how social capital plays a role in the context of village head leadership and has important implications for the development of more effective leadership policies and practices at the village level. Future research could delve deeper into specific aspects of social capital that have a significant impact in the context of village leadership.
