Abstract

Rural areas play an important role in supporting the circulation of a people-based economy through equitable development. One form of development that villages need is infrastructure. Difficult access to infrastructure causes villagers to urbanize in the city. This condition was also experienced by ABC Village before the Nawa Cita program, which made the flow of infrastructure development run massively. The infrastructure development process requires support and cooperation between the village government and the village community. This research examines the impact of infrastructure development and its risks. The results of the study of village government policies and the role of the community have a positive effect on the success of infrastructure projects. Model measurement with the SEM method is fit. The results of the risk analysis showed that there were 5 high-category risks, 12 medium-category risks, and 14 low-category risks. Kawasan desa memegang peranan penting dalam mendukung perputaran ekonomi berbasis kerakyatan melalui pemerataan pembangunan. Salah satu bentuk pembangunan yang dibutuhkan desa adalah aspek infrastruktur. Sulitnya akses infrastruktur menyebabkan warga desa melakukan urbanisasi ke kota. Kondisi ini juga dialami oleh Desa ABC sebelum adanya program Nawa Cita yang membuat arus pembangunan infrastruktur berjalan masif. Proses pembangunan infrastruktur membutuhkan dukungan dan kerja sama antara pemerintah desa dengan masyarakat desa. Penelitian ini mengkaji terhadap dampak pembangunan infrastruktur dan risikonya. Hasil kajian terhadap kebijakan pemerintah desa dan peran masyarakat berpengaruh positif terhadap keberhasilan proyek infrastruktur. Pengukuran model dengan metode SEM bernilai fit. Hasil analisis risiko diketahui bahwa terdapat 5 risiko kategori tinggi, 12 risiko kategori sedang dan 14 risiko kategori rendah.

Abstract

In the hydroponic deep flow technique (DFT) system, in general, the measurement of water quality parameters is still done manually and because of this it often results in delays in adding nutrients, causing yellowing of plants. This study aims to design and realize a prototype system for automatic monitoring and replenishment of water supply, pH (acidity), and nutrients in DFT hydroponics based on Arduino UNO and the internet of things. The system is built with Arduino UNO, pH sensor, TDS sensor, HC-SR04 sensor, DC water pump, NodeMCU, ThingSpeak and Blynk applications. The results showed that the system prototype was able to work well. The difference in the measurement results by the sensor compared to the reference measuring instrument is relatively small, namely the difference in pH 2.058%, TDS 0.835%, distance 0.255% and pH control 0.43%, TDS 0.404%, and volume 0.69%. The system prototype has succeeded in maintaining the pH level of the solution, the TDS of the solution, and the quality of the water in the system. Pada system hidroponik deep flow technique (DFT), secara umum pengukuran parameter-paramter kualitas air masih dilakukan secara manual dan karenanya sering mengakibatkan keterlambatan penambahan nutrisi sehingga membuat tanaman menguning. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan merealisasikan prototipe sistem pemantauan otomatis dan pengisian pasokan air, pH (keasaman), dan nutrisi pada hidroponik DFT berbasis Arduino UNO dan internet of things. Sistem dibangun dengan Arduino UNO, sensor pH, sensor TDS, sensor HC-SR04, pompa air DC, NodeMCU, aplikasi ThingSpeak dan Blynk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe sistem mampu bekerja dengan baik. Selisih hasil pengukuran oleh sensor dibandingkan alat ukur referensi relatif kecil yaitu selisih pH 2.058%, TDS 0.835%, jarak 0.255% dan pengendalian pH 0,43%, TDS 0,404%, dan volume 0,69%. Prototipe sistem telah berhasil mempertahankan kadar pH larutan, TDS larutan, dan kualitas air dalam sistem.

Abstract

Khatulistiwa Makmur Persada is a company engaged in the coal mining industry. Meanwhile at PT. Khatulistiwa Makmur Persada, there are indications of a decrease in coal quality when coal is mined, this is due to a pool of water around the coal to be mined. This research was conducted using quantitative research methods. Quantitative research methods. By conducting tests on coal samples and interviewing workers for questionnaires. The results of the analysis of coal quality show changes when coal is transported to the stockpile from the mining front with a change in quality of 2.78% total moisture, 15.65 ash content, 1305.01 Kcal/kg calorific value. And the results of the analysis of changes in the quality of coal in the stockpile with the range determined by the company with a total moisture value of 1.36%, ash content of 7.46%, calorific value of 708.03 Kcal/kg. PT. Khatulistiwa Makmur Persada merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri pertambangan batubara. Sementara itu di PT. Khatulistiwa Makmur Persada, terdapat indikasi terjadinya penurunan kualitas batubara pada saat batubara ditambang, hal ini disebabkan adanya genangan air di sekitar batubara yang akan ditambang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian kuantitatif. Dengan melakukan pengujian terhadap sampel batubara dan wawancara pekerja untuk kuisioner. Hasil analisis kualitas batubara menunjukkan perubahan pada saat batubara diangkut ke stockpile dari front penambangan dengan perubahan kualitas 2,78% total moisture, 15,65 ash content, 1305,01 Kcal/kg calorific value. Dan hasil analisis perubahan kualitas batubara di stockpile dengan range yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan dengan nilai total moisture 1,36%, ash content 7,46%, nilai kalori 708,03 Kcal/kg.

Abstract

The vehicle fuel consumption is increasing. Fossil fuels are running low. Research is needed to reduce the use of fossil fuels. As an alternative, research is carried out on the use of a mixture of bio-oil - diesel fuel in diesel engines. The aim of the research is to increase power, reduce fuel consumption and reduce exhaust emissions from diesel engines. The research method is direct testing on diesel engines with variations in fuel heating by adding a heater to the fuel. Variation of heating materials The fuel used is standard temperature, 40°C, 50°C, and 60°C. The test uses a lamp load with a certain variation to determine power, with a measuring tube to determine certain fuel consumption. Testing using the opacity smoke meter to determine the level of exhaust gas opacity. In this test, In this test it can be concluded that the best condition is B20 at a fuel heating temperature of 40oC, where power has increased, opacity and fuel consumption has decreased, the power can reach 2592,76 watt. Smoke opacity level at 5,4% and 0,088 gr/watt of fuel consumption.

Abstract

The increasing population of motorbikes has an impact on fuel needs and the resulting increase in exhaust emissions. The electrolyzer has an effect on fuel consumption and gasoline exhaust of a modified 4-stroke motorbike. This research is experimental research, starting with designing and making the tools to be studied, then conducting research. As a result, there was a decrease in fuel consumption of 31.36% at 2000 RPM rotation, 8.73% at 4000 RPM engine speed, and 15.48% at 6000 RPM rotation. While exhausting emissions, there was a decrease in CO of 47.37%, an increase in h22o of 24.37%, and a decrease in HC of 45.11% at 2000 RPM rotation. The 4000 RPM rotation decreased CO by 89.11%, CO2 increased by 35.48%, and HC decreased by 36.98%. The 6000 RPM rotation decreased CO by 41.67%, CO2 increased by 17.26% and HC decreased by 6.92%. Semakin banyak populasi sepeda motor berdampak pada kebutuhan bahan bakar dan meningkatnya emisi gas buang yang dihasilkan. Elektroliser berpengaruh pada konsumsi bahan bakar dan gas buang sepeda motor 4 langkah modifikasi injeksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dimulai dengan merancang dan membuat alat yang akan diteliti, kemudian dilakukan penelitian. Hasilnya, terjadi penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar sebesar 31.36% pada putaran 2000 RPM, 8.73% pada putaran mesin 4000 RPM dan 15.48% pada putaran 6000 RPM. Sedangkan emisi gas buang, terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 47.37%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 24.37% dan penurunan HC sebesar 45.11% pada putaran 2000 RPM. Putaran 4000 RPM terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 89.11%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 35.48%, dan penurunan HC sebesar 36.98%. Putaran 6000 RPM terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 41.67%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 17.26% dan penurunan HC sebesar 6.92%.

Abstract

In mushroom greenhouses at IKM Simbang Maros, watering is currently done manually using a hose and scheduled twice daily, without considering the optimal temperature and humidity for mushroom growth. This study aims to develop an automatic watering system for oyster mushroom cultivation using a DHT22 sensor to monitor temperature and humidity. The system is equipped with a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller and a mist sprayer, triggered by a relay to activate the water pump. An IoT platform using Thingspeak allows farmers to monitor temperature and humidity data in real-time on their smartphones. In a real case study, the device effectively maintained optimal humidity levels for mushroom growth, with the pump activating when humidity was below 85%. Data from 10 observations showed that the pump was active for 7 times. Data processing using R Studio showed the system's ability to stabilize humidity levels. The proposed system could help farmers optimize mushroom growth and reduce the labor required for manual watering.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between road slope and total resistance to Dump Truck fuel consumption. Based on the calculations, the relationship between road slope and fuel consumption is obtained using the regression equation for when loaded Y = 0.0817X +1.831 and when empty Y = 0.0344X + 0.787. While the relationship between total resistance and fuel consumption when loaded with the regression equation Y = 0.0012X +1.8229 when loaded and Y = 0.001X + 0.5789 when empty. The recommended recommendation to reduce dump truck fuel consumption is by improving the road slope according to the standard, which is 8%. After repairing the road slope, the company can save fuel consumption of 87.07 liters/day for 14 dump trucks with an estimated savings of Rp.1,105,764.87 per day. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kemiringan jalan dan total resistance terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar Dump Truck. Berdasarkan perhitungan, didapatkan hubungan kemiringan jalan terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar menggunakaan persamaan regresi untuk saat bermuatan Y= 0,0817X +1,831 dan ketika kosong Y= 0,0344X + 0,787. Sedangkan hubungan total resistance terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar ketika bermuatan dengan persamaan regresi Y = 0,0012X +1,8229 ketika bermuatan dan Y= 0,001X + 0,5789 ketika kosong. Rekomendasi yang disarankan untuk dapat menurunkan konsumsi bahan bakar dump truck adalah dengan cara perbaikan kemiringan jalan yang sesuai standar, yaitu 8%. Setelah adanya perbaikan kemiringan jalan, perusahaan dapat menghemat pemakaian bakar sebanyak 87,07 liter/hari untuk 14 unit dump truck dengan taksiran hemat sebesar Rp.1.105.764,87 per hari.

Abstract

The truss system is the most efficient structural system, and is widely used in various forms of building contruction. In analyzing a structure there are various methods that have been used, including the stiffness matrix method and the classical mechanics method. To facilitate structure analysis can be done with the help of existing structure analysis software, such as SAP2000, Etabs, and Opensess, or by developing the Matlab programming language with a GUI. The purpose of this study is to provide a review of several calculation methods that have been used, to calculate the forces on 2D/3D truss. The research method used is a review literature that is descriptive analysis by collecting several relevant sources. In this paper, a literature review of the 2D/3D truss calculation method was carried out in terms of the calculation method and the software used. The results obtained are the stiffness matrix method which is the most popular method and has been widely used to date, because the calculation process is carried out in a systematic and patterned manner. And the application that is commonly used is Matlab, with the program validation process using SAP2000, the results of the analysis between programs show no different results. Sistem rangka batang (truss) adalah sistem struktur yang paling efisien, dan banyak digunakan dalam berbagai bentuk kontruksi bangunan. Dalam menganalisis suatu struktur terdapat bermacam-macam metode yang telah digunakan, diantaranya metode matriks kekakuan dan metode mekanika klasik. Untuk memudahkan analisis struktur dapat dilakukan dengan bantuan software analisis struktur yang telah ada, seperti SAP2000, Etabs, dan Opensess, atau dengan mengembangkan bahasa pemograman Matlab dengan GUI. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan tinjauan (review) tentang beberapa metode perhitungan yang telah digunakan, untuk menghitung gaya-gaya pada truss 2D/3D. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah literatur review yang bersifat analisis deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan beberapa sumber yang relevan. Dalam paper ini dilakukan kajian literatur tentang metode perhitungan truss 2D/3D dari segi metode perhitungan dan software yang digunakan. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu Metode matriks kekakuan merupakan metode yang paling populer dan telah banyak digunakan hingga saat ini, dikarenakan proese perhitungan dilakukan secara sistematis dan terpola. Dan aplikasi yang umum digunakan adalah Matlab, dengan proses validasi program menggunakan SAP2000, hasil analisis antara program menunjukan hasil yang tidak berbeda.

Abstract

The Velocity Air Intake System is an important component in a motor vehicle engine, particularly in a 155cc engine. Its function is to optimize the airflow process to the throttle body or carburetor. However, many users or people tend to overlook the significance of improving engine performance by varying the model or replacing the velocity air intake system itself. One common issue is the diameter and shape of the airflow model, which can affect the power, torque, and exhaust emissions produced. Installing a velocity air intake system is one approach to achieve an efficient air delivery process into the combustion chamber. In our research conducted using a dyno test on a 155cc four-stroke engine, the results showed that using a 46 mm size yielded the highest power of 11.03 Hp and produced a torque of 12.39 N.m. Using a 47 mm size resulted in 11.02 Hp and decreased the torque to 12.28 N.m. With a 48 mm size, there was a decrease in power to 11.00 Hp and an increase in torque to 12.72 N.m, while using a 45 mm size led to a decrease in power to 10.09 Hp and produced a torque of 11.31 N.m.

Abstract

Broiler chicken is a superior breed that has high productivity. Ammonia odor that pollutes the area around the cage is a problem in broiler management. Due to the activity of microorganisms in feces, unabsorbed protein amino acids, and other non-protein nitrogen (NPN) compounds break down into ammonia gas. In addition to damaging the environment, NH3 gas can interfere with animal performance, making them susceptible to disease. This research aims to solve the problem that comes from ammonia by measuring and designing an automatic ammonia gas controller based on Arduino using an MQ-135 sensor. If ammonia levels in the cage are greater than 5 ppm, ammonia levels are controlled by spraying liquid smoke to limit ammonia gas emissions. The results of this study show that the tool is able to reduce ammonia gas levels to 8 ppm. Ayam broiler adalah jenis ras unggulan yang memiliki daya produktivitas tinggi. Bau amoniak yang mencemari area sekitar kandang menjadi masalah dalam pengelolaan ayam broiler. Karena aktivitas mikroorganisme dalam feses, protein yang tidak diserap asam amino, dan senyawa nitrogen non-protein (NPN) lainnya terurai menjadi gas amoniak. Selain merusak lingkungan, gas NH3 dapat mengganggu performa hewan, sehingga rentan terkena penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah yang berasal dari amonia dengan metode pengukuran dan perancangan alat pengontrol gas amoniak otomatis berbasis arduino menggunakan sensor MQ-135. Jika kadar amoniak di dalam kandang lebih besar dari 5 ppm, kadar amoniak dikendalikan dengan penyemprotan asap cair untuk membatasi emisi gas amoniak. Hasil dari penelitian ini alat tersebut mampu menurunkan kadar gas ammonia hingga 8 ppm.
