Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kurangnya perhatian perusahaan di Kabupaten Badung dalam menyerap tenaga kerja penyandang disabilitas serta keragaman penempatan kerja dan perbedaan jenis disabilitas pada karyawan di Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa yang memiliki karakteristik pekerjaan yang berbeda adanya keragaman ini memberikan peran dalam melakukan pekerjaan. Selain karakteristik, motivasi penyandang disabilitas mendukung keinginan penyandang disabilitas untuk bekerja pada suatu perusahaan. Aturan yang diberikan oleh pemerintah melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 8 tahun 2016 tentang Penyandang Disabilitas dilakukan oleh Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa dalam bentuk mempekerjakan penyandang disabilitas sebagai karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari karyawan disabilitas di Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa, untuk mengetahui motivasi kerja dari karyawan disabilitas di Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa, untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung karyawan disabilitas selama bekerja di Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan dan menyatukan informasi data dari identifikasi data mentah yang kemudian hasil analisa akan dilakukan interpretasi data dengan mengumpulkan kesimpulan dari data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dikembangkan dengan teori yang di dapat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, studi literatur, penyebaran kuesioner, dokumentasi dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil dari analisa data menyatakan bahwa motivasi instrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik berperan kinerja karyawan terutama dalam berprestasi, karakteristik sosiodemografis dan karakteristik pekerjaan berperan dalam kesesuaian pekerjaan dengan karakteristik karyawan dan produktivitas kerja karyawan. Faktor pendukung karyawan penyandang disabilitas dalam bekerja salah satunya adalah prestasi dari karyawan. Faktor penghambat dalam bekerja salah satunya adalah rotasi pekerjaan.

Abstract

Training is an effort to improve the skills, knowledge and performance of employees technically and can help employees to achieve certain skills and abilities in order to succeed in doing their jobs so that employees work according to existing operational standards of the company in order to improve employee performance. A complaint states that employee performance needs to be considered, so training is needed at the Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of training at Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa and the effect of training on employee performance at Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and literature studies. The questionnaire was distributed to 100 respondents who were Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa employees with a proportional random sampling technique. The analytical method is descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive which includes the Likert scale, validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, analysis of determination and t-test. The results of this study explain that the types of training conducted at the Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa are in-house training, inviting outside trainers and education and training programs. The results also showed a positive and significant effect of training on the performance of Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa employees. Training contributed 61.5% to employee performance, while the remaining 38.5% was influenced by other factors. Keywords: Training, Employee Performance, Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is a form of behavior that exceeds the standards of employees in the organization which affected by Perceived Ogranizational Support (POS). This research is based on the still lack of employee OCB Behavior at the Four Points Hotel by Sheraton Bali Seminyak, indicated by turnover problems that exceed 10% and OCB behavior that still lacks include: there are still work results that are below standard, lack of voluntary participation from employees, and employee complaints regarding work conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Perceived Organizational Support on Organizational Citizenship Employees at Four Points Sheraton Bali Seminyak. The population used as respondents were permanent employees and contracts totaling 79 people, while the sampling technique used was saturated sampling. Data collection techniques in research include: Observation, Interview, Literature Study, and Questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used in this study were the Instrument Test, Classical Assumption Test, Simple Linear Regression Analysis, Partial Hypothesis Test (T Test), Correlation Analysis, and Determination Coefficient Analysis. The results showed that the Perceived Organizational Support variable had a positive and significant effect on the employee's Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable. The result of the correlation coefficient analysis is 0.643 which means that the Percieved Organizational Support variable has a strong influence on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable of employees at the Four Points Hotel by Sheraton Bali Seminyak. The result of the coefficient of determination is 40.5, which means that the Percieved Organizational Support variable has an influence of 40.5% on the behavior of the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of employees, while the remaining 59.5% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Abstrak Promosi jabatan memungkinkan perusahaan untuk menempatkan karyawan yang tepat pada tugas yang tepat, sehingga sistem promosi jabatan yang efektif dapat menyebabkan efisiensi organisasional yang lebih besar. Masari Villas and Spa adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang akomodasi perhotelan yaitu villa dan spa yang berlokasi di Gianyar, Bali. Sistem promosi jabatan yang tidak dilakukan sesuai prosedur yang jelas oleh manajemen Masari Villas and Spa serta hal-hal yang terkait dengan faktor penyebab hal tersebut tidak diperhatikan dengan baik, maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menentukan terjadinya sistem promosi jabatan karyawan serta mengetahui faktor yang dominan dalam menentukan terjadinya sistem promosi jabatan karyawan di Masari Villas and Spa. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik kuesioner, dokumentasi, studi kepustakaan, dan observasi partisipator. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh atau sensus, sampel yang diambil sebanyak 53 responden yaitu seluruh karyawan Masari Villas and Spa kecuali manajer serta menggunakan analisis faktor konfirmatori. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima faktor terbentuk yang menentukan terjadinya sistem promosi jabatan karyawan di Masari Villas and Spa yaitu prestasi kerja (27,506%), pendidikan dan pelatihan (11,144%), spoil system (9,072%), penilaian pribadi (8,400%), dan kepercayaan (6,846%). Adapun faktor yang mendominasi adalah faktor prestasi kerja yang terdiri dari 6 variabel, yakni: (1) nilai dari kepala departemen mengenai prestasi kerja, (2) penyelesaian tugas-tugas, (3) semangat kerja, (4) kualitas hasil kerja, (5) kejujuran pribadi, dan (6) frekuensi melaporkan tugas. Sistem pengangkatan karyawan dengan prestasi kerja sebagai pertimbangan utamanya dapat membuat promosi jabatan di Masari Villas and Spa menjadi obyektif karena karyawan yang dipromosikan untuk mengisi suatu jabatan adalah mereka yang mempunyai prestasi kerja yang tinggi. Abstract

Abstract As a result of Covid-19, many countries have closed international airports, this of course has a huge impact on the tourism sector in Bali. Since April 2020, nearly 96 percent of hotels in Bali have closed and laid off their workers. The status of these workers was laid off (taking unpaid leave). Tourism workers who lost their jobs did not just give up, they do everything to make money. Many of the laid-off tourism workers have switched professions to become new seller who use their cars and selling on the side of the main road in Denpasar City. This study aims 1) to find supporting factors in opening a business for laid-off tourism workers during the Covid – 19 pandemic, 2) to find out the most dominant factor which is a supporting factor in opening a business for laid-off tourism workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research location in Denpasar City. This study used 100 respondents with accidental sampling technique. The data will be analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and factor analysis. Based on the results of calculations using factor analysis, there are 12 variables grouped into 3 factors, namely business relations and business management factors, internal and external factors, and self-motivation factors which are supporting factors in opening a business for laid-off tourism workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Of the three factors, business relations and business management are the most dominant. Conclusions from this research need to be hold entrepreneurship training activities for laid-off tourism workers so that they have entrepreneurial skills that are very useful for develop their business. Abstract

As a hotel with an occupancy rate above 50% every year, U Paasha Seminyak in its operations certainly does not escape complaints. Based on recorded data, the number of complaints has increased in the past year. This indicates that the quality of employee performance has decreased, and employee discipline is still lacking in relation to absenteeism and working time so that management seeks to increase employee motivation to improve employee productivity and discipline through employee relations. The aims of this study was to determine the application of employee relations and their influence significantly on employee work motivation. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature study and documentation. The sampling technique uses proportional stratified sampling with a sample of 80 respondents. The data is processed using SPSS 24. Data analysis techniques are validity, reliability, simple regression analysis, and t-test with a significant level of 5 percent. Employee relations programs implemented to improve employee motivation include the Education and Training Program, the Award Program, Special Program Programs, the Employee Communication Program, the Profit Share, and the Employee Attitude Survey. Hypothesis test results state that the employee relations variable has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation variables because a significance value of 0,000 <0.05 is obtained, a regression coefficient of 0.626 is positive and the t value is greater than t table 9.726> 1.991. Therefore the employee relations program needs to be implemented because it has succeeded in increasing the work motivation of employees at U Paasha Seminyak. Abstract

Tourist accommodation is one of the supporting activities of tourism in Jembrana Regency. However, there are many accommodations that fail to operate due to the small number of tourist arrivals. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence tourists choosing accommodation in Jembrana Regency and the dominant factors affecting tourists in choosing accommodation in Jembrana Regency so it can use as input for accommodation providers to manage tourist accommodation in Jembrana Regency. Methods of collecting data are through observation, questionaire, documentation and literature study method. Method for data analysis are use descriptive qualitative method through validity test, reliability test, and analysis factor using SPSS program version 22. The result of the study show that according to validity and reliability test done by SPSS version 22 all 21 indicators are valid and reliable that mean it can be continued to factor analysis. Based on the results of factor analysis, there are 4 factors consisting of 14 indicators that influence tourists in the selection of tourist accommodation in Jembrana Regency such as Service Quality Factors, Reputation Factors, Location Factors and Price Factors. The dominant factor influencing tourists in choosing accommodation in Jembrana Regency is the Service Quality Factor which is formed on 4 indicators, such as choosing accommodation due to the ability of staff to communicate well, choosing accommodation due to the completeness of room facilities, choosing accommodation based on the design of the accommodation building, choosing accommodation based on a friend or colleague’s reference

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini berfokus pada manfaat desa wisata dari aspek alam, sosial budaya, spiritual, dan ekonomi dari 3 (tiga) desa wisata sebagai lokasi penelitian, yaitu: Desa Wisata Tista, Desa Wisata Bongan, dan Desa Wisata Penatahan, Kabupaten Tabanan. Dengan mengetahui manfaat pengembangan desa wisata, sehingga dapat berkelanjutan (sustainable) serta dapat menjaga kelestarian aset-aset yang dimiliki oleh desa wisata. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan perpaduan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) digunakan untuk menemukan model secara naturalis sesuai dengan keadaan serta manfaat desa wisata berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Tabanan. Hasil analisis data ditampilkan secara deskriptif kualitatif yang menyajikan manfaat pengembangan desa wisata, hasil observasi, dan hasil studi lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa terdapat manfaat yang signifikan pengembangan desa wisata terhadap aspek alam, aspek sosial budaya, aspek spiritual, dan aspek ekonomi, di mana dari analisis data menyatakan bahwa manfaat terbesar dari aspek alam adalah ”kesadaran masyarakat dalam membuang sampah” sebesar 78%, manfaat terbesar dari aspek ekonomi adalah ”tumbuhnya UMKM” sebesar 71%, manfaat terbesar dari aspek spiritual adalah ”perawatan Tempat Suci” sebesar 88%, dan manfaat terbesar dari aspek sosial budaya adalah ”menghormati tradisi dan budaya” sebesar 83%. Desa wisata dapat menjaga dan mempertahankan kehidupan masyarakat. Pengembangan desa wisata berdampak positif terhadap alam, sosial/budaya, spiritual, ekonomi.[1] Kata Kunci: Desa Wisata, Manfaat Pengembangan, Pariwisata Kerakyatan Berkelanjutan, Partisipasi Masyarakat

Abstract

ABSTRAK Prestasi belajar mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Minat dan motivasi adalah faktor internal yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar. Seseorang dengan minat yang rendah ketika mengawali suatu kegiatan akan memiliki rasa malas dan tidak tertarik untuk melanjutkan dan tanpa diimbangi motivasi belajar yang tinggi menyebabkan perhatian terhadap pelajaran akan terganggu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Angkatan 2018/2019 sebanyak 108 siswa dan sampel yang diambil adalah 85 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh minat belajar dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa Angkatan 2018/2019 Politeknik Pariwisata Batam secara parsial maupun simultan. Hasil penelitian tersebut menyarankan kepada mahasiswa agar meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajarnya serta peran serta pendidik dan orang tua sangat diperlukan.

Abstract

online travel agent globally is popular as sources of information search for hotel business choices when planning trips. 65% of leisure tourists and 67% of business travelers search for information via the internet. The internet provides many opportunities to make promotional channels with the presence of OTA websites, hotel websites, and mobile applications. The existence of online sites can motivate domestic and foreign tourists to make online reservations at Padma Resort Legian making it easy to book hotel rooms, get information, and be flexible. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that encourage tourists to make online reservations at Padma Resort Legian and the dominant factors that motivate tourists to make online reservations at Padma Resort Legian. The technique of determining the number of samples using quota sampling distributed 100 respondents, sampling using judgment sampling techniques. Collection techniques consist of: observation, questionnaire, interview, literature study, and documentation. Qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques consisting of: descriptive statistics in the form of Likert scale, statistical inference using factor analysis techniques. Testing the validity test instruments and reliability testing. The results showed there were 5 motivational factors with a total value of variance of 63,426% which encouraged tourists to make online reservations at Padma Resort Legian including: (1) product; (2) superior service; (3) situational & economic; (4) pragmatic; (5) social. The dominant factor in making online reservations at Padma Resort Legian is the product motivation factor with a total value of variance of 34,817%. This factor consists of: getting points, special needs, product availability, product quality, and product variations.
