Abstract

Abstrak Suatu perusahaan tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan masyarakat sebagai lingkungan eksternalnya. Eksistensi perusahaan bergantung dari hubungan timbal balik antara perusahaan dengan masyarakat. Perusahaan dan masyarakat adalah pasangan hidup yang saling memberi dan membutuhkan. Kontribusi dan harmonisasi keduanya akan menentukan keberhasilan pembangunan bangsa. Adanya keselarasan antara keuntungan yang diperoleh perusahaan dengan pemberian kontribusi secara langsung kepada masyarakat dan lingkungannya merupakan mekanisme check & balances antara pihak perusahaan dengan masyarakat. Dengan kata lain Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) juga dipandang sebagai tolok ukur untuk reputasi suatu perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi serta persepsi masyarakat Desa Munduk terhadap Corporate Social Responsibilty. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara terstruktur, kuesioner, dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik penentuan informan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 98 responden dengan teknik penentuan sampel digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang ditunjang dengan skala likert. Program CSR yang dilakukan oleh Puri Lumbung Cottages yaitu kepada masyarakat sekitar Desa Munduk sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Program CSR berupa program kelas menari, kursus massage, cooking class, perpustakaan desa, konservasi air, pembagian bibit kopi, serta natural and conservation activity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap implementasi CSR Puri Lumbung Cottages berdasarkan kuesioner yang disebarkan ke 98 responden masyarakat Desa Munduk mendapatkan skor penilaian akhir dengan rata-rata skor penilaian 3 dengan kategori sikap “baik”. Abstract

ABSTRACTPapaya leaves (Carica papaya L.) contain flavonoids and tannins which have anti-inflammatory actuvuty. This study aims to determined antiinflamatory activity of papaya leaves extract using caragenan induce paw edema. The test was carried out on 5 groups of animals, namely, the negative control group was given 1% CMC suspension, the positive control group was given sodium diclofenac 0,9mg / 200gBB and the test group was given a papaya leaf ethanol extract suspension at a dose of 9mg / 200gBB, 13,5mg / 200gBB, and 18mg /200gBB. The results showed that all extract doses were able to inhibit edema, respectively 92.13%, 100%, 89% in volume measurements and 96,66%, 100%, 93,49% in diameter measurements and significantly different from negative control (ρ ≤0.05). It can be concluded that the extract dose of 13,5 mg / 200gBW provided the best inhibition of edema and was not significantly different from the positive control (ρ≥0.05). Keywords: Carica papaya L., Anti-inflammatory, Inflammatory Volume, Inflammation Diameter.   ABSTRAKDaun pepaya (Carica papaya L.) mengandung senyawa flavonoid dan tanin yang berkhasiat sebagai antiinflamasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji aktivitas ekstrak etanol daun pepaya sebagai antiinflamasi. Aktivitas antiinflamasi dilakukan dengan metode induksi edema pada telapak kaki tikus menggunakan karagenan 1%. Pengujian dilakukan pada 5 kelompok hewan yaitu kelompok kontrol negatif diberi suspensi CMC 1%, kelompok kontrol positif diberi natrium diklofenak 0,9mg/200gBB dan kelompok uji diberikan suspensi ekstrak etanol daun pepaya dengan dosis 9mg/200gBB, 13,5mg/200gBB dan 18mg/200gBB. Hasil penelitian menunjukan semua dosis ekstrak mampu menghambat edema berturut-turut sebesar 92,13%, 100%, 89% pada pengukuran volume dan 96,66%, 100%, 93,49% pada pengukuran diameter dan berbeda signifikan dengan kontrol negatif (ρ≤0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak dosis 13,5mg/200gBB memberikan penghambatan edema paling baik serta tidak berbeda secara signifikan dengan kontrol positi (ρ≥0,05). Kata kunci: Carica papaya L., Antiiflamasi, Volume Radang, Diameter Radang.

Abstract

A study on evaluation of implementation of concept of environmentally and culturally friendly tourism based on Balinese life phylosophy of the “Tri Hita Karana” (THK) has been undertaken at Fivelements (Puri Ahimsa) hotel, in Mambal, Badung Regency, Bali between September and October, 2011. Data were collected based on on site observation by reserarchers accompanied by conducting interview to management and employees and checking documents. Evaluations were undertaken refering to evaluation checklist measures of the THK Tourism Awards. Results of the evaluations were then classified into excellent, good, moderate, fair/pass and fail (affiliate). Results of the study showed that the implementation of the THK phylosophy at Fivelements were classified into excellent with overall performance score of 93.33. The score acchieved by Fivelements in general was better than those of hotels participants of the THK Awards in Bali in 2009 (86). From the three aspects, achievements of implementation of THK for community aspects (pawongan) at Fivelements was the highest among others, with the performance score of 96.67. This better that performance of cultural aspects ‘parhyangan’ with achievement score of 96.00 and environmental aspects ‘palemahan’ with achievement score of 85.56. Accross the three aspects of THK (culture, community, and environment), achievements for environmental aspects were observed to have most number of points need to be improved, that was on 50 % of its existing checklist measures. Meanwhile for the culture and community aspects, the hotel performance may still able to be improved on 13 % of its measure checklist points. On environmental aspects, the lowest score achieved was 2 out of maximum 5, ie. on checklist L.13 whcih refering to handling of hazardous materials. On culture aspects, the performance of the hotel which got the lowest score of 3 was on checklist point H.2, which was dealing with availability of shrines within the temple. On ‘pawongan’ (community) aspects, the lowest score achieved was 3 on checklist point W.16. W.16 checklist point was dealing with length of stay. Length of stay of guests in the hotel in average was between 4 and 8 days, the parameter of which was expected should be more than 12 days.

Abstract

Bali undoubtedly faces the most severe impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. As the new normal era comes, the Balinese starts visiting some tourist destinations. Social media postings about tourists' visit enjoying Kintamani's panorama have attracted other tourists to travel on the weekend or on the vacation. This research objective were to find out the role of social media in promoting tourist attractions in Kintamani, Bangli regency, Bali; and to investigate impacts of social media to revisit Kintamani. This research utilized quantitative approach of multiple regression analyses. Result of this research showed that the social media were found to be effective in triggering interest of visitation during COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, easiness, trust, and information quality variables simultanously cause positive impacts and significantly (53.9%) impacts on interest to revisit Kintamani. This research contributed to the businessmen in utilizing social media to promote and sell their tourism products during the pandemic era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berlokasi di desa Kedewatan Ubud Bali. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) mengidentifikasi perkembangan usaha akomodasi 2) mengkaji dampak ekonomi, sosial budaya dan lingkungan pasca erupsi Gunung Agung bagi usaha akomodasi masyarakat lokal di desa Kedewatan Ubud. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi , wawancara,kuesioner, studi kepustakaan. Sampel yang digunakan adalah pemilik usaha akomodasi yaitu masyarakat lokal dan data dianalisis dengan deskriptip kualitatif. Perkembangan usaha akomodasi masyarakat sampai saat ini sejumlah 65 buah usaha akomodasi yang terdiri dari 15 buah, villa 20 buah, pondok wisata 10 buah dan hotel 20 buah. Namun kepemilikan akomodasi adalah 46 % atau sebanyak 30 buah usaha akomodasi penduduk lokal desa Kedewatan, 54% atau 35 buah akomodasi milik bukan orang lokal. Dampak Ekonomi pasca erupsi Gunung Agung yang dirasakan pemilik usaha akomodasi masyarakat lokal adalah kategori cukup dengan skor 3,2. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa dari indikator pendapatan akomodasi, kesempatan kerja, harga lahan, tingkat hunian kamar, dampak terhadap usaha penunjang akomodasi dan perubahan status kepemilikan usaha akomodasi cukup berdampak dalam bidang ekonomi akibat erupsi. Dampak sosial budaya berada pada kategori cukup dengan rata-rata 2,4. Pada dampak sosial budaya yang terdiri dari indikator keamanan, pola kehidupan sosial budaya, keagamaan, cara pandang terhadap usaha akomodasi, pementasan kesenian, perubahan sistem kerja terjadi pula dampak yang cukup berpengaruh pasca erupsi Gunung Agung. Masyarakat pemiliki usaha akomodasi tetap bertahan dengan usaha akomodasi mereka karena menyadari bahwa desa Kedewatan memang kawasan pariwisata dengan harapan akan segera pulih pasca erupsi. Sedangkan dampak lingkungan juga cukup berdampak pasca erupsi dengan skor 2,9. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa dari indikator perubahan lingkungan alam, pengurangan pembangunan usaha akomodasi, pemeliharaan fasilitas, sampah/limbah, polusi dan pencemaran mengalami dampak yang cukup pasca erupsi. Beberapa hal yang bisa dilakukan seperti renovasi, perbaikan sedikit terhadap fasilitas yang rusak. Secara keseluruhan dampak ekonomi, sosial budaya dan lingkungan pasca erupsi Gunung Agung terhadap usaha akomodasi masyarakat lokal adalah cukup berdampak dengan skor rata-rata 2,8. Kata Kunci. Abstract

The research report is entitled "Foreign Tourist Preferences in Accommodation Selection in Nyuh Kuning Tourism Village, Ubud". The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of tourists and know the preferences of foreign tourists in the selection of accommodation in the Tourism Village Nyuh Yellow. Indicators used in this research are location, facility, service, image, price, comfort, hygiene, health, promotion, and architecture. This research data obtained through observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Determination of sampling technique is determined by incidental sampling technique to 100 foreign tourists. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative statistics (konjoin analysis) and supported by qualitative data with ten research variables. The results show that the most important attribute according to foreign tourists in the selection of accommodation in Nyuh Kuning Tourism Village is the attribute of comfort. In addition, the result of a conjoint analysis of the preferences of foreign tourists in accommodation selection is a friendly service, a location close to the crowded center of Nyuh Kuning, an accommodation facility consisting of air conditioning, TV, swimming pool, wifi, hot and cold water, accommodation rates more than Rp. 800,000, accommodation with traditional architecture, daily cleaned rooms, accommodations rated more than 8, facets of health for relaxation, and promotions with free yoga. The suggestion in this research is that local people must provide identity for the accommodation they have. Second, the accommodation is expected to be more attractive in marketing the accommodation provided. The third suggestion is to make attractive promotions and offers for tourists. The final suggestion, it is recommended for the government and management to review and rearrange the existing accommodation policy.

Abstract

The Patra Bali is one of the state-owned enterprises, under of PT. Patra Jasa. Therefore PT. Patra Jasa has its own training time standard. The Patra Bali management must have a training system to achieve the target set training time. The purpose of this study was to find out application of the training system at The Patra Bali Resort & Villas, in addition to teformine the responses of employees toward the training system that runs at The Patra Bali Resort & Villas. Methods of data collection is done by observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. The technique of determining the sample using proporsionate stratified random sampling technique and obtained a sample of 100 people, and data analysis techniques used in research is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained in this study is the training system implemented at The Patra Bali Resort & Villas has formed a training cycle. In addition from the recapitulation results can be concluded that from some questions given can show that employee response shows the response with the lowest points are on the indicator of participants where the points earned over 4.1 points. While for the highest point is on the indicator of the determination of the coach that is equal to 4.47 points. Key Words : System Training, Perception Employees, The Patra Bali Resort & Villas

Abstract

Training is an effort to improve the skills, knowledge and performance of employees technically and can help employees to achieve certain skills and abilities in order to succeed in doing their jobs so that employees work according to existing operational standards of the company in order to improve employee performance. A complaint states that employee performance needs to be considered, so training is needed at the Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of training at Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa and the effect of training on employee performance at Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and literature studies. The questionnaire was distributed to 100 respondents who were Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa employees with a proportional random sampling technique. The analytical method is descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive which includes the Likert scale, validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, analysis of determination and t-test. The results of this study explain that the types of training conducted at the Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa are in-house training, inviting outside trainers and education and training programs. The results also showed a positive and significant effect of training on the performance of Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa employees. Training contributed 61.5% to employee performance, while the remaining 38.5% was influenced by other factors. Keywords: Training, Employee Performance, Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa.

Abstract

Thi research is located in Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran Hotel which is based on the existence of miscommunication that occurs among employees that can hinder work productivity of employees of Le Meriden Bali Jimbaran Hotel. The purpose of this research is to know the application of internal communication and to know the influence of internal communication to productivity of work employees in Jimbaran Bali Le Meridien Hotel. This research uses techniques of data collection through the methods of observation, interview, questionnaire, the study of librarianship, and documentation. A questionnaire distributed to 85 respondents which is an employee at the Hotel Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran. The measurement scale used is the likert scale and the analysis of its data using inferential statistic that validity test, reliability test, correlation analysis, simple linear regression analysis, determination analysis and t test. Implementation of internal communication are shown through daily operational activities that require interdepartmental coordination as well as employees that involves employees of the highest level, equivalent , and lowest for providing services excellent with through media like whatsapp, handy talky, email, notice board as well as face-to-face.The results showed the existence of a positive influence of internal communication to productivity of work of employees. 38% employee productivity can be explained by the variable indicators of internal communication while the rest amounted to 62% is affected by other factors.. Advice that can be given to the Hotel Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran i.e. two-way communication emphasis, always open in taking decisions for employees and the management primarily superiors in order to keep his behavior since becoming a guide for employees the lower level.

Abstract

Abstract Based of the research by the increasing problem of turnover intention at The Lerina Hotel Nusa Dua, Bali. Variables that caused of increased turnover intention are variables of work stress and work insecurity. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of job stress and job insecurity on turnover intention at The Lerina Hotel Nusa Dua Bali, and to determine the effect job stress and job insecurity on turnover intention. Techniques data collection by observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies. While the sampling technique is saturated sample with a number of respondents of 50 people. This research using descriptive qualitative and quantitative technique consisting of a likert scale, validity test and reliability test, classic assumption test, correlation test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and determination test. The results shows that Fcount (39,020)> Ftable (3.20) with a sig value of 0,000 or <? (0,05). This shows that job stress variables (X1) and job insecurity (X2) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention (Y) at The Lerina Hotel Nusa Dua. The t-test or partial results show that job stress has a total influence of 2,566 with a significance level of 0.014 <0.05 and job insecurity has an influence of 5,849 with a significance level of 0,000 <0.05 which means that job stress and job insecurity have a positive and significant effect on employee turnover intention in The Lerina Hotel Nusa Dua. Furthermore, the results of the determination test showed that the effect of job stress and job insecurity on turnover intention was 62.4% and the remaining 37.6% was influenced by other factors not included in this study.
