Abstract

Stigma is a sign that is created on the human body to be shown and to inform the public that a person who has that sign constitutes no morals and primness expression that belongs to someone. The purpose of this study is to understand society's stigma about Covid 19 in Cepokomulyo Village, Kepanjen sub-district Malang regency. The research design used in this research is a descriptive method and cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique in this research uses Cluster Sampling of as many as 364 respondents. The respondents were given a questionnaire by the researcher, it is a questionnaire variable of society stigma (sign, signal, stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination) to validate the data. In validating the questionnaire, the researcher used I-CVI (content validity index). And the data is stated valid with a score of 0.935. Reliability test from all the questionnaires which had been fulfilled by the respondents gave the results, those are signal/cues 0.829, Stereotypes 0.805, prejudice 0.850, and discrimination 0.802. As the result of the research, there are 4 variables that mean good categories. The percentage highest scores lie in stereotypes variable as many as 94.2% (n=364), which means the society stigma is good. Because society does not judge people by appearance. The conclusion, society did not give a bad stigma about Covid 19. Good communication and getting information can be solutions to build up society's stigma about covid 19. And the bad stigma would not show up in society.

Abstract

On examination of hemoglobin with POCT generally use capillary blood. The use of capillary blood as a test sample has a deficiency, namely the possibility of dilution in capillary blood samples caused by a deep puncture so that the blood that comes out is not smooth and usually the fingers will be pressed or sequenced. This condition can cause blood dilution by tissue fluid, so the test results will tend to be low. The purpose of this study was to find out the difference in hemoglobin results with POCT in venous and capillary blood samples. This study uses descriptive analytical methods that aim to describe or describe a situation objectively, and then describe it. The results showed the average hemoglobin level in the venous blood sample was 13.2 g/dl. While in capillary blood samples 12.9 g / dl. The results of the independent t-test obtained a significance value of 0.224 (p > 0.05) so it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the results of hemoglobin levels examination using venous blood samples and capillary blood samples.

Abstract

Background: Anthocyanin-rich red cabbage is known to reduce hepatic enzymes levels such as SGPT, SGOT, ALP, and GGT in drug-induced liver injury (DILI). Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of red cabbage juice on SGOT, ALP, and GGT levels in acetaminophen-induced liver injury in rats. Methods: This was an experimental study using a post-test-only control group design. Thirty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups. K1 was the negative control. K2, K3, K4, and K5 were pretreated with 300 mg acetaminophen. K3, K4, and K5 were treated with 0.5 g/ml of red cabbage juice, 0.7 g/ml of red cabbage juice, and 0.9 g/ml of red cabbage juice respectively. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and post hoc LSD (p<0.05). Results: There was no significant difference in SGOT and GGT levels among the groups p=0.271(p>0.05) and p=0.053 (p>0.05) respectively. Whereas ALP levels showed significant differences among the groups p=0.000 (p<0,05) respectively. Conclusion: The administration of red cabbage in any dose had no effect on SGOT and GGT levels in acetaminophen-induced liver injury in rats whereas in ALP, the most effective dose to cause an effect is 0.5 g/ml.

Abstract

An automatic hematology analyzer (hematology analyzer, ha) is a routine hematology examination tool used extensively in clinical laboratory services. Sysmex XP-300 is the HA 3-part diff that is the most straightforward ha impedance examination of the number of cells based solely on cell sizes. The storage temperature and incubation times affected the complete blood count examination. This study determined the difference between hematology and EDTA's immediate examination of blood samples and was delayed at room temperature and temperature using a Sysmex XP-300. Hopefully, this research could be developed with a method of validation of checks to minimize errors in clinical laboratories. Experimental research methods with a pre-experimental design through the one group afflicted posttest design with a sample of as many as 15 laboratories, and we analyzed with ANOVA. The results of this study have WBC, RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, and MCHC different results at room temperatures 2, 24, 48, and 72 hours compared to temperature fluctuations; the PLT parameters alone show no significant difference when it comes to prompt examinations with delays in the application. Morphology of erythrocyte is influenced by temperature, and storage should be hypotensive.

Abstract

Kidney disease is the loss of kidney function. This results in salt retention, nitrogen wastewater, and a decrease in urine volume. Kidney disorders are characterized by structural or functional abnormalities of the kidneys that last more than three months. Indicators to see the ability of renal glomerular filtration can be done by checking creatinine clearance. Creatinine clearance is the number of millimeters of plasma cleared of creatinine by the kidneys in one minute. This study aimed to determine the level of creatinine clearance in patients with kidney disease in RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus City of Palangka Raya. This research was conducted by quantitative descriptive method, with the number of research samples as many as 15 outpatient kidney disease patients who had not performed hemodialysis at the Clinical Pathology Laboratory of RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya, with a sampling technique in the form of Accidental Sampling. The examination method used is the measurement of creatinine clearance as a marker of the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) using the Cockroft-Gault formula. The results showed that based on the value of normal creatinine clearance, as much as 7%, and the decreased value of creatinine clearance, as much as 93%.
