Abstract

One of the problems that greatly affects the compressive strength of concrete is the presence of porosity, which is also influenced by the size and size of the cement water factor used. To reduce this problem, additives can be used to improve the strength performance of concrete, especially for high strength concrete, namely silica fume and superplasticizer.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding superplasticizer and silica fume as a partial substitute for cement on the compressive strength of high strength concrete. In this study an experimental method was used by testing a sample with a superplasticizer composition of 1% for all variations and the use of silica fume as a partial replacement for cement at 5%, 10%, and 15% of the weight of cement using a cylinder specimen of 15 cm diameter and 30 cm, f'c plan 40 MPa tested at the age of 28 days with treatment before testing In this study, the normal compressive strength of concrete at 28 days was 39.632 Mpa, for the addition of 1% superplasticizer and 5% silica fume f'c = 43.878 Mpa, and for the addition of 1% superplasticizer and 10% silica fume f'c = 44.161 Mpa. Then for the addition of 1% superplasticizer and 15% silica fume f'c = 46,992 Mpa. Based on these results, it shows that the addition of 1% superplasticizer and 15% silica fume as a substitute for some cement can increase the compressive strength of high quality concrete.

Abstract

The availability of road construction materials matching the design criteria and mixed features in terms of reliability is one of the success factors in road construction. The goal of this study is to understand whether Tondon Marante coarse aggregate in Hot Rolled Sheet Binder-Course mix and in Asphalt Concrete Binder-Course mixture can be used as flexible pavement road material. This study was carried out by measuring the characteristic of Marshal using penetration asphalt 60/70 for Hot Rolled Sheet Binder-Course mixture on asphalt content variation of 6 percent, 6.5 percent, 7 percent, 7.5 percent, 8 percent and for Asphalt Concrete Binder-Course mixture on bitumen content variation of 5 percent, 5.5 percent, 6.5 percent, 6.5 percent, 7 percent according to Asphalt Concrete Binder-Course mixture on bitumen content variation. The results showed that Hot Rolled Sheet Binder-Course mixture's optimum asphalt content was 7 percent with a VIM value of 4.78 percent, VFB 74.32 percent, VMA 18.37 percent, Stability 894.83 kg, Flow 3.32 mm, MQ 269.22 kg / mm and 24 hours immersion index 94.05 percent, and Asphalt Concrete Binder-Course mixture's optimum asphalt content is 6.5 percent with a VIM value of 3.83 percent. It is concluded that Tondon Marante coarse aggregate can be used as a versatile pavement road material in a mixture of Hot Rolled Sheet Binder-Course and Asphalt Concrete Binder-Course mix, based on the Marshal characteristic test that primarily meets the general specification of Bina Marga 2010 Revision 3 (Division 6) 'Asphalt Pavement'.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Sambuara was founded based on the wishes of the community, in order to be able to present a high school education level (SMA) in Essang Selatan District, Talaud Islands Regency. Data processing is a complicated matter and must be meticulous. In this case the computer plays an important role as a tool in processing data. Processing student data at DAPODIK (Basic Education Data) to load data on education units, students, educators and education personnel, and educational substance whose data comes from educational units which are continuously updated online. To obtain valid data according to conditions in the field and to maintain data quality, three stages are arranged which are managed by different work units, namely the stages of collection, management and utilization. This research was conducted by means of observation, interviews, to obtain the profile of SMA Negeri 1 Sambuara in proposing functions and mechanisms for processing student data.

Abstract

Trafo atau Transformator merupakan peralatan listrik yang berfungsi untuk mengubah nilai suatu arus atau tegangan dari nilai yang satu keniliai lainnya melalui suatu gandengan magnet dan menggunakan perinsip kerja elektromagnetik. Prinsip kerja trafo yaitu berdasarkan hukum Faraday. Jenis dan bentuk trafo bermacam- macam tergantung pada fungsi dan besarnya tegangan dan arus yang bekerja pada trafo tersebut.

Abstract

Perencanaan struktur bangunan tahan gempa sangat penting di Indonesia. Kabupaten Tana Toraja termasuk KDS-D dengan kategori resiko I dalam kelas situs SD. Sehingga metode Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus (SRPMK) dapat digunakan dalam perencanaan. Perencanaan struktur gedung ini menggunakan konsep desain kapasitas berupa kolom kuat balok lemah. saat terjadi gempa yang kuat dengan metode tersebut diharapkan gedung ini tidak mengalami keruntuhan total. Dalam perencanaan ini, bangunan yang direncanakan adalah bangunan fiktif 15 lantai menggunakan beton bertulang dengan panjang bangunan 40 m, lebar bangunan 14 m, tinggi 55.8 m dengan fungsi sebagai hotel. Perencanaan dan perhitungan struktur gedung ini ditinjau terhadap beban mati, beban hidup, dan beban gempa. Perhitungan beban mati dan beban hidup mengikuti persyaratan SNI 1727-2013, dan beban gempa dianalisis secara statik dan dinamis mengikuti persyaratan SNI 1726-2012. Untuk analisa struktur bangunan digunakan aplikasi SAP2000V21. Hasil analisis dan desain menunjukkan dimensi balok dan kolom telah memenuhi kriteria penampang untuk SRPMK, dimana syarat “strong column weak beam” telah terpenuhi. Abstract

Paper ini berisi tentang penerapan algoritma jaringan saraf tiruan backpropagation untuk memprediksi kunjungan wisatawan di Toraja Utara berdasarkan data kunjungan wisatawan sebelumnya. Data yang yang digunakan merupakan data dari kunjungan wisatawan tahun 2014-2018. Arsitektur jaringan syaraf tiruan yang digunakan terdiri atas 3 (tiga) lapisan yaitu 1 lapisan masukan yang terdiri atas 12 neuron, 1 (satu) lapisan tersembunyi, dimana percobaan dilakuklan dengan 6, 12, 18, 24 dan 36 neuron sedangkan pada lapisan keluaran terdapat 1 (satu) neuron yang menjadi target prediksi. Hasil pelatihan JSTbacpropagation menunjukan arsitektur terbaik adalah yaitu 12 neuron pada lapisan masukan, 36 neuron pada lapisan tersembunyi, dan 1 neuron pada lapisan keluaran. Hasil pengujian model JST backpropagation menunjukkan bahwa prediksi cukup baik untuk melakukan prediksi kunjungan wisatawan dengan menghasilkan nilai mean square error (MSE) 0.364826512 atau persentasi akurasi sebesar 63,51%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine; (1) The effect of the mixture of rice husk charcoal briquettes with hazelnut shell charcoal on boiling time, (2) The effect of the mixture of rice husk charcoal briquettes with hazelnut shell charcoal on the net power (Pout) (3) The effect of the mixture of rice husk charcoal briquettes with hazelnut shell charcoal on the loss of power in the furnace, (4) The effect of a mixture of rice husk charcoal briquettes with hazelnut shell charcoal on the resulting thermal efficiency. The research method used is an experimental method using rice husk charcoal with candlenut shell charcoal for testing on the stove. The results showed that the most superior mixture of rice husk charcoal briquettes with hazelnut shells was found in B3 briquettes (a mixture of 40% rice husk charcoal and 40% hazelnut shells) resulted in boiling time in the 55th minute, clean power 0,24 kW, loss of power 0,098 KW and thermal efficiency of 40.45%.

Abstract

Use of Maple Programming Language to Solve Motion Mechanics Problems in Physics. In this paper, we have solved one of the classical mechanics case that is the strain and acceleration force of each connected object through the pulleys using Maple programming language. Maple is a computer-based mathematical software, that is algebraic computer system capable of solving equations in the form of numerical solutions And symbolic. Computing and visualization capabilities with ease of use and integrated operator support, functionality and mathematical solutions are the reason for this program being selected. Maple method and language are very potential in solving the some cases of physics.

Abstract

Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a household need which is currently the most widely used by the community as a fuel other than petroleum. The use of LPG cylinders, which increases every year, is directly proportional to the increased risk of fire caused by gas leaks. Many LPG cylinders circulating in the community today do not use good safety. Therefore, a tool is needed to detect LPG leaks so that people can find out more quickly when there is a gas leak. This system is designed using a microcontroller-based MQ-2 sensor. The MQ-2 sensor functions as a gas leak detector, the buzzer serves as a warning in the event of a gas leak and the SIM800L will send an SMS via the user's smartphone. The MQ-2 sensor can detect gas leaks at a distance of 2 meters in a closed room without ventilation. The MQ-2 gas sensor detects gas leaks using a distance that can be influenced by room temperature and the sensitivity of the MQ-2 sensor, so that the MQ-2 sensor produces a non-permanent time even though it is at the same distance. The buzzer sounds when the MQ-2 sensor detects a gas leak. SIM800L can send SMS notifications to smartphones of LPG cylinder owners when the MQ-2 sensor detects a gas leak, but the time it takes to send an SMS is not fixed because it is influenced by whether the network used by the simcard on the smartphone or the simcard on the SIM800L is good or not.
