Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of a positive psychology approach in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning as an effort to build psychological well-being and Islamic character in students at SDN 15 Pekat. The study used a qualitative method with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the positive psychology approach is implemented through positive reinforcement, habituation of worship, instilling the values of gratitude, patience, and honesty, and creating a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. The implementation of this approach has a positive impact on increasing self-confidence, optimism, learning motivation, and psychological well-being of students. In addition, this approach also contributes to the formation of Islamic character, such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, empathy, and social concern. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of the role of teachers in consistently integrating the principles of positive psychology with Islamic teachings to create comprehensive and meaningful PAI learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' learning engagement in Arabic language learning and examine the factors influencing it based on students' perceptions of their Arabic teachers. This research employed a qualitative approach using observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Matthew B. Miles and A. Michael Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and verification. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings revealed that students' learning engagement at MTs Nurul Mi'raj Ndewel varied across different indicators. Based on students' perceptions of their teachers, several factors influencing learning engagement were identified, including interaction management, clarity of teacher explanation, task assignment and guidance, use of learning media, and equal participation in group discussions. The study concludes that understanding students' perceptions can serve as an evaluation tool for teachers to improve instructional strategies in order to enhance students' learning engagement.

Abstract

Online gaming addiction among elementary school students has become a problem that affects their academic performance and discipline. This study aims to analyze the application of a collaborative intervention model between parents and teachers in preventing online gaming addiction among students at MIS Yasim Mawu-Bima. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of 10 students identified as showing symptoms of addiction, with supporting informants including the principal, teachers, and parents. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that structured collaboration through routine communication, restrictions on gadget use, counseling, joint supervision, and the use of WhatsApp groups effectively reduced the duration of gaming and increased students' responsibility for learning. Supporting factors included the commitment of parents and teachers and intensive communication, while inhibiting factors included parents' time constraints and low digital literacy. It was concluded that the parent-teacher collaborative intervention model is a relevant preventive strategy in reducing online game addiction among elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trend of Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilization in Indonesian Language and Literature learning and formulate an AI-based Digital Ethnopedagogy model that is contextualized with local cultural values. The research background is based on the increasing adoption of generative AI in education, which demands a pedagogical framework that is not only technologically adaptive but also critical and ethical. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with reference to the PRISMA guidelines to select and synthesize relevant articles related to AI and language learning. The selection process is carried out through the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion based on thematic relevance and publication quality criteria. The results of the study indicate that AI contributes to improving digital literacy, literary creativity, and critical thinking skills, but also presents ethical challenges, potential dependency, and the risk of reducing originality. Based on the synthesis of findings, an AI-based Digital Ethnopedagogy model is formulated that integrates technological, cognitive-critical, creative, academic ethics, and local cultural context dimensions as the foundation of learning. This model emphasizes that AI needs to be positioned as a collaborative tool that strengthens reflection and the production of meaning, not as a substitute for the role of educators. This study recommends further empirical testing to measure the effectiveness of the model at various levels of education to strengthen its conceptual and implementative validity.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly transformed the educational landscape, including human resource management in Islamic educational institutions. Personnel management has become a strategic aspect because it is directly related to the quality of teaching and non-teaching staff, who play a key role in the success of learning and the formation of student character. The digital era demands that Islamic educational institutions transform their personnel management, from strengthening digital competencies and adjusting leadership roles to changing organizational culture to be more adaptive and innovative. A literature review indicates a paradigm shift from traditional administrative practices to a more technology-based personnel management approach, adaptive competencies, and professional ethics. However, this transformation also faces challenges such as a digital skills gap, limited infrastructure, and resistance to change. Therefore, an effective personnel management strategy must integrate technology with Islamic values and encourage increased professionalism through responsive policies, effective organizational communication, and a work culture that supports innovation. This research is expected to provide an overview of the direction of personnel management in Islamic education that is relevant to digital developments and the needs of the times.
