Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of drawing and coloring activities on improving early childhood cognitive abilities. Drawing and coloring activities are considered as fun and creative activities for children, but they also have the potential to improve their cognitive abilities. The research method used was an experiment with a control group. Fifty children aged 4-6 years were randomly selected and divided into two groups, namely the experimental group which did drawing and coloring activities, and the control group which did not. The experimental group was given a series of drawing and coloring tasks designed to engage various cognitive aspects such as color recognition, hand-eye coordination, problem solving, and spatial understanding. Meanwhile, the control group was involved in daily routine activities without any special intervention. Before and after the intervention, both groups were given cognitive ability tests which included tests of memory, problem solving, and understanding of basic concepts. The results showed that the group of children who did drawing and coloring activities experienced a significant increase in cognitive abilities compared to the control group. They showed better improvements in memory tests, problem solving, and understanding basic concepts. In addition, children in the experimental group also showed an increase in their creativity and imagination. These findings indicate that drawing and coloring activities can be an effective method of improving early childhood cognitive abilities. Therefore, it is suggested that these activities be integrated in the early childhood education curriculum to enrich their learning experience and promote optimal cognitive development.

Abstract

ABSTRAC This study aims to find out how the influence of the fraction board media on the learning outcomes of class III students on simple fractions in elementary mathematics learning. The samples for this study were 2 classes selected by random sampling, namely class IIIA students and class IIIB students at SD Negeri 09 Pedamaran. This study used an experimental research method. The method of collecting student data is through observation and documentation, while the data on learning outcomes is collected using a multiple choice test in the form of learning outcomes. With a posttest-only control design. Methods of data analysis researchers used quantitative analysis using independent t test known sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 or it can also be seen from t_count = 7.025 > t_table = 2.064. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the average learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of fraction board media on the learning outcomes of class III students on simple fractions in elementary mathematics learning. Keywords: Fraction Board, Learning Outcomes, Simple Fractions ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh media papan pecahan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas III materi pecahan sederhana pembelajaran matematika SD. Sempel penelitian ini adalah 2 kelas dipilih secara ranbom sampling yaitu, siswa kelas IIIA dan siswa kelas IIIB di SD Negeri 09 Pedamaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian jenis eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data siswa melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, sedangkan data hasil belajar dikumpulkan menggunakan tes berbentuk pilihan ganda hasil belajar. Dengan desain posttest-only control design. Metode analisis data peneliti menggunakan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan uji independent t test diketahui nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 0,05 atau dapat juga dilihat dari = 7,025 = 2,064. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata hasil belajar kelas esksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media papan pecahan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas III materi pecahan sederhana pembelajaran matematika SD.

Abstract

ABSTRAC his study aims to develop valid puzzle media on the material for composing verses and to develop practical puzzle media for the material for composing verses for class V SD Negeri 98 Palembang. The type of research used by researchers is R&D. The type of development used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and evaluation) . The population and sample of this study are the population of class V participants at SD Negeri 98 Palembang totaling 10 people. The results of research on puzzle media products composing verse rhymes for class V SD. These products are made using styrofoam materials of various colors. The advantages and results of the development of puzzle media in composing interesting rhyme verses and motivating students in the process of learning activities because they have interesting writing and numbers that are adapted to the ability of students to train concentration. The expert assessment shows that the media puzzle composes verses with a percentage of 72% validators, media experts and a percentage of 64% material experts. With this, it can be concluded that the development of puzzle media composing rhyme verses for class V SD is included in the valid category. And the results of student responses obtained a percentage of 88% in the one to one trial and a percentage of 87.7% in the small group trial. it can be concluded that the practicality of puzzle media in composing bat rhymes in fifth grade elementary school learning is included in the very practical cat Keywords: Media Puzzle, Composing Pantun, and Indonesian ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media puzzle yang valid pada materi menyusun bait pantun dan mengembangkan media puzzle yang praktis pada materi menyusun bait pantun kelas V SD Negeri 98 Palembang.. Jenis penlitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalh R&D jenis pengembangan yang dignakan adalah ADDIE (Analisys, Desain, Development, Implementasi dan evaluasi) . Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini yaitu populasi peserta kelas V SD Negeri 98 Palembang berjumlah 10 orang. Hasil penelitian produk media puzzle menyusun bait pantun kelas V SD. Produk tersebut dibuat deengan menggunakan bahan styrofoam yang beraneka warna. Keunggulan dan hasil pengembangan media puzzle menyusun bait pantun menarik dan memotivasi siswa dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran karena memiliki tulisan dan angaka yang menarik yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan peserta didik dalam melatih konsentrasi. Penilaiam para ahli menunjukan baliwa media puzzle menyusun bait pantun dengan persentase sebesar 72% validator ahli media dana persentase sebesar 64% ahli materi. Dengan denikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media puzzle menyusun bait pantun kelas V SD termasuk dalam kategori valid. Dan hasil respon siswa diperoleh persentase sebaesar sebesar 88% pada uji coba one to one dan persentase 87,7% pada uji coba small group Dengan demikian. dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepraktisan media puzzle menyusun bait pantun pada pembelajaran kelas V Sekolah Dasar termasuk dalam kategon sangat praktis. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi rendahnya kemampuan berbicara siswa di kelas 4 SD memiliki manfaat penting dalam memberikan intervensi yang tepat waktu, mengembangkan program pembelajaran yang sesuai, melibatkan orang tua, dan memberikan dukungan yang dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa secara efektif. Pendekatan ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif studi kasus pada single subjek sebagai metode utama untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan berbicara pada siswa Kelas V. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi pada wawancara individu untuk mendapatkan pengalaman dan persepsi siswa terkait kesulitan berbicara. Dokumentasi gunakan untuk mengumpulkan bahan-bahan pendukung, seperti catatan guru, wawancara kepada siswa dan orang tua siswa. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi diatas, faktor-faktor seperti rasa takut, kekhawatiran, kurangnya minat atau pemahaman terhadap topik, kecemasan dalam situasi kelompok dan presentasi, gangguan lingkungan, rasa malu, dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri dapat menjadi penyebab kesulitan berbicara siswa kelas V di SD Inpres Pakkolompo. Upaya meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan berbicara dapat dilakukan melalui berbagai strategi seperti persiapan sebelum berbicara, latihan di depan cermin, partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi, dan dukungan dari guru dan lingkungan belajar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop Powerpoint learning media on energy material and its changes in class III SDN 37/II Lubuk Landai Market, Muara Bungo Regency. The purpose of the research was because there were several problems that were found by researchers when carrying out research, namely the learning process that only used teacher manuals and conventional learning methods such as the lecture method. The lack of enthusiasm of students in student learning is also often individual, noisy and does not pay attention to the teacher when explaining. This study uses the ADDIE Research and Development (R&D) model which has 5 sections, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The type of data used is in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. Instrument Development uses validity and practicality instruments. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique used uses validity, practicality and effectiveness. The final results of this study can be concluded that the product development process, namely in the form of Powerpoint learning media on energy material and its changes in class III SDN 37/II Lubuk Landai Market, Muara Bungo Regency was declared valid by 6 experts to proceed to the next stage. The products developed are also stated to be practically used in learning activities by teachers and students. The use of the products developed was able to improve student learning outcomes, this is in line with student learning outcomes that of the 20 students who took part in learning using the media developed in material 1, it was stated that 85% completed material 2, which was stated to be 85% complete, and material 3, which was obtained 90% complete.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Identifikasi langkah-langkah metode bermain peran. (2) Implementasi metode bermain peran. (3) Melakukan evaluasi implementasi metode bermain peran dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sebelum mengimplementasi metode bermain peran dalam pembelajaran IPAS diterapkannya langkah-langkah sebagai berikut : tahap penyusunan ATP dan Modul Ajar, menyiapkan alat dan media pembelajaran, menganalisis kurikulum pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Terdapat analisis hasil evaluasi dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT dalam pembelajaran IPAS yaitu ada 4 hal yang meliputi kekuatan (Strengths) salah satunya yaitu pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan, kelemahan (Weaknesses) guru yang masih kesulitan untuk memilih peserta didik yang mempunyai bakat untuk peran yang sesuai dan peserta didik yang masih merasa malu untuk memerankan peran yang dimainkan, peluang (Opportunities) guru yang inovatif mampu mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran semaksimal mungkin dapat menjadi peluang dalam tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran, ancaman (Threaths) peserta didik yang tidak ikut serta bermain peran akan menjadi pasif.

Abstract

Attitude can be seen as a condition within a person that is able to move that person to act or act with that feeling in response to various objects or situations that occur in their social environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of attitudes towards the environment in fourth grade students at SDN 2 Pematang Panggang. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The attitude towards the environment consists of 4 indicators: the first is always preserving the environment, the second is loving the neatness and cleanliness of the school, the third is participatory-based activities, the fourth is supporting greening. The data collection technique uses observation at the homeroom teacher for class IV SDN 2 Pematang Panggang, interviews with the homeroom teacher for class IV. and fourth grade students at SDN 2 Pematang Panggang, a questionnaire test which was distributed to 20 students and documentation in the form of photographs during the study. The results of distributing the questionnaire show that the results of the average student respondent are categorized as good with an average of 8.5. Analysis of the results of the questionnaire tests of 20 students who were divided into the first 2 categories, 10 students were very good and 10 students were good. Abstract

The problem of this research is motivated by the problems that occur, namely the low student learning outcomes in science learning caused by a lack of teachers involving students in the learning process so that students are less active when learning takes place and the teacher only uses the usual lecture method in providing learning material and lacks innovative learning methods so that students are less active in participating in learning and affect student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of the Driil learning method on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 1 Rantau Bayur, Banyuasin Regency. The research method used is the Quasi Experiment design method with research design. The experimental research used in this study used the Control Group Design. Data collection techniques began with interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test (t-test). Based on the results of the study, it showed that this drill learning method had an effect on student learning outcomes in science learning on force and motion in class IV with the posttest average score in the experimental class (85.5) which was superior to the posttest results in the control class (56). and the results of the calculation of the t-test whose truth is obtained sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05 and thit = 9.042 > ttable = 1.686 thus 0.000 <0.05 and thit = 9.042 > ttable = 1.686 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. or there is a significant influence on the drill learning method on student learning outcomes in the science subject at SDN 1 Rantau Bayur, Banyuasin Regency Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Science, Drill Method

Abstract

ABSTRAC Mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects in elementary school. Students are required to have four basic mathematical competencies, one of which is multiplication. This study aims to identify students' understanding of concepts in understanding multiplication arithmetic operations and the difficulties experienced by students in completing multiplication arithmetic operations as well as the factors that influence these difficulties to occur. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. This research was conducted at Elementary School 143 Palembang in May 2023 with the research subjects namely 23 grade IV students at Elementary School 143 Palembang. The instruments in this study were tests, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the interactive model data analysis. Analysis Miles And Huberman consisting of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that 13 students were included in the Incomplete category in the multiplication concept and 10 students were included in the Complete category in the multiplication concept. Difficulties experienced by students in multiplied numbers; difficulty understanding sentences in word problems; difficulties in determining how to solve math problems related to everyday problems often forget the basic multiplication that has been memorized; cannot change the multiplication form into repeated addition form; unable to determine known sentences and sentences asked in story problems; cannot solve multiplication arithmetic operation problems independently because they still need the help of others. Factors that influence the difficulties experienced by students namely; do not understand the concept of multiplication; using the memorized method in learning multiplication arithmetic operations. Keywords: Understanding the Multiplication Concept, arithmetic operations ABSTRAK Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran wajib diSekolah Dasar. Siswa dituntut untuk memiliki empat kompetensi dasar matematika salah satunya adalah perkalian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pemahaman konsep pada siswa dalam memahami operasi hitung perkalian dan kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan operasi hitung perkalian serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan itu terjadi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode Deskritif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar 143 Palembang pada bulan Mei 2023 dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 23 siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar 143 Palembang. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data model Interaktif. Analysis Miles And Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 13 siswa termasuk kategori Tidak Tuntas dalam konsep perkalian dan 10 siswa termasuk kategori Tuntas dalam konsep perkalian. Kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam bilangan yang dikalikan; kesulitan memahami kalimat pada soal cerita; kesulitan menentukkan cara dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika yang berhubungan dengan masalah sehari-hari sering lupa dengan perkalian dasar yang telah di hapalkan; tidak bisa mengubahkan bentuk perkalian kedalam bentuk penjumlahan berulang; tidak dapat menentukan kalimat yang diketahui dan kalimat yang ditanya dalam soal cerita; tidak bisa menyelesaikan masalah operasi hitung perkalian secara mandiri karena masih menbutuhkan bantuan orang lain. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan yang dialami siswa yaitu; tidak paham konsep perkalian; menggunakan metode hapalam dalam memperlajari operasi hitung perkalian. Abstract

ABSTRACT This development research aims to: how is the development of lift the flap assisted mind mapping media on food chain material for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 142 Palembang which is valid and practical. The method used in this study is the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE model. The development research process was carried out in several stages of the ADDIE model, namely: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The analyze phase is carried out by analyzing field observation data in the form of needs analysis and material analysis. The design stage is to design learning media. The development stage includes the creation of learning media, which will be validated by material experts and media experts as well as 2 trials consisting of: 1. One to one 2. Small group. The implementation stage is a trial run to all students which is carried out on 27 students. The evaluation stage is evaluating the feasibility and practicality of the media. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the assessment by media experts obtained a score of 77.33% in the "Decent" category, material experts namely 86.15% in the "Very Practical" category, while the assessment of class teachers obtained a score of 90.76% in the "Very Practical" category. The results of the student assessment in the one to one trial obtained a score of 91.33% in the "Very Practical" category, while the small group trial obtained a score of 90.02% in the "Very Practical" category. Assessment of all students obtained a score of 87.48% in the "Very Practical" category. Thus the media developed in the form of lift the flap assisted mind mapping media can be used by teachers and students as learning media. Keywords: Development, Lift the Flap Assisted Mind Mapping Media ABSTRAK . Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: bagaimanakah pengembangan media mind mapping berbantuan lift the flap pada materi rantai makanan untuk siswa kelas V SD Negeri 142 Palembang yang valid dan praktis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode R&D (Reseacrh and Development) dengan model ADDIE. Proses penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahapan dari model ADDIE yaitu: Analyze, Design, Development, Implenentation, and Evaluation. Tahap analyze dilakukan dengan menganalisis terhadap data-data observasi lapangan berupa analisis kebutuhan dan analisis materi. Tahap design yaitu membuat rancangan media pembelajaran. Tahap development meliputi pembuatan media pembelajaran, yang akan divalidasi ahli materi dan ahli media serta 2 kali uji coba yang terdiri dari: 1. One to one 2. Small group. Tahap implementation merupakan uji coba kepada seluruh siswa yang dilakukan kepada 27 siswa. Tahap evaluation yaitu mengevaluasi kelayakan dan kepraktisan media. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penilaian oleh ahli media memperoleh skor 77,33% dengan kategori “Layak”, ahli materi yaitu 86,15% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”, sedangkan penilaian dari guru kelas memperoleh skor 90,76% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Hasil penilaian siswa pada uji coba one to one memperoleh skor 91,33% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”, sedangkan pada uji coba small group memperoleh skor 90,02% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Penilaian kepada seluruh siswa memperoleh skor 87,48% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Dengan demikian media yang dikembangkan berupa media mind mapping berbantuan lift the flap dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa sebagai media pembelajaran.
