Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe and report reading ability problems among high class students found in class V of SDN Yasahidi and solutions for it. This description is used to determine alternative solutions which are also included in this research. This research is a case study research that uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and literature study. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses an interactive model which has several stages, namely data collection, data presentation, data reduction which ends with drawing conclusions. Based on this research, problems with reading skills in high grades are serious. This is because reading skills are one of the key abilities that must be mastered by students, especially high class students. High class students who read poorly or not fluently will hinder learning, both for themselves, their classmates and the teacher. This problem can be caused by many factors, one of which is the teaching method of teachers that students have received. Therefore, teachers must be creative and innovative in designing teaching strategies to face and provide solutions to reading skill problems in the high grades. Apart from that, differentiated learning can also be considered as a solution to reading problems in high grades. Keywords: high grades student, reading skill, teaching skill. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan melaporkan permasalahan kemampuan membaca pada peserta didik kelas tinggi yang ditemukan di kelas V SDN Yasahidi dan solusinya. Gambaran tersebut digunakan untuk menentukan solusi alternatif yang juga termuat dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus yang menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi literatur. Sementara teknik analisis datanya menggunakan model interaktif yang memiliki beberapa tahapan yakni pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data yang diakhiri dengan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, permasalahan pada keterampilan membaca di kelas tinggi merupakan hal yang serius. Hal ini dikarenakan keterampilan membaca merupakan salah satu kemampuan kunci yang harus dikuasi oleh peserta didik, apalagi peserta didik kelas tinggi. peserta didik kelas tinggi yang kurang bahkan tidak lancar membaca akan menghambat pembelajaran, baik bagi dirinya, teman sekelasnya, maupun guru. Permasalahan tersebut dapat disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya adalah cara mengajar guru-guru yang pernah diterima oleh peserta didik. Oleh sebab itu, guru harus kreatif dan inovatif dalam merancang strategi mengajar guna menghadapi dan menjadi solusi bagi permasalahan keterampilan membaca di kelas tinggi tersebut. Selain itu, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi juga dapat dipertimbangkan untuk menjadi solusi bagi permasalahan membaca di kelas tinggi tersebut. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Membaca, Keterampilan Mengajar, peserta didik Kelas Tinggi.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of realization of student management programs due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research aims to analyze information regarding planning, acceptance of new students, division of student study groups, student development and training, as well as monitoring and evaluation of student management at SDN Sumber Agung. This research uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through interview techniques. The place of this research is SDN Sumber Agung, Jl. Bhayangkara No.48, Sumurpecung, Serang sub-district, Serang City. The research subject is one of the Sumber Agung Elementary School teachers in the 2023/2024 school year as a resource person. The results of the research show that planning, accepting new students, dividing student study groups, developing and training students, as well as monitoring and evaluating student management at SDN Sumber Agung are running effectively. The implementation of student management at SDN Sumber Agung runs effectively and in accordance with previously prepared plans.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the implementation of the principal's managerial role in realizing the quality of independent curriculum-based education at SDN 3 Serang City. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. This research began from November to December 2023. The research results obtained explain that the school principal has carried out various efforts and has played a role in improving the quality management of education at SDN 3 Serang City. The efforts made include various important roles in terms of leadership and school management for teachers, staff, students, infrastructure and other school supporters. The conclusion in this research is that the managerial role of the school principal is very important in realizing the quality of independent curriculum-based education. The managerial role of the school principal has been carried out in the role of EMASLEC, namely educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, entrepreneur and climate creator.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the realistic mathematic education approach assisted by geogebra on student activities and understanding of concepts. This type of research is quasi-experimental research with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were fourth grade students at SD Gugus Diponegoro. The sample used for the experimental class was SDN Pesaren 2, the control class was SDN Pesaren 1, and the test class was SDN Sawahojo 2. Data were obtained through test instruments and the results of observing student activities. The results of the study prove that (1) the realistic math education approach assisted by geogebra is effective for the activities of fourth grade students at SDN Pesaren 2. This can be seen from the significance value in the t-test which is 0.000 <0.05, which means that there are differences in the results of observations of student activities between classes experimental and control class. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class was 85. The average observation result before treatment in the experimental class was 65, while the average observation result during treatment reached 85 with an average increase in learning outcomes (n-gain) of 0.566 with moderate criteria. (2) The realistic mathematic education approach assisted by GeoGebra is effective for understanding concepts in spatial material for fourth grade students at SDN Pesaren 2. This can be seen from the significance value on the t-test which is 0.000 <0.05, which means that there are differences in learning outcomes in aspects of conceptual ability mathematics between experimental classes and control classes. The learning results show that the average value of the experimental class is 85 with the specified KKM, which is 70, while the classical completeness is more than 75%, which is 85%. The average pretest in the experimental class was 65 while the average posttest result reached 85 with an average increase in learning outcomes (n-gain) of 0.566 with moderate criteria.

Abstract

Education is an important thing in human life. Therefore, in providing education, there needs to be support from various parties. Support for the provision of education is not only from the government, teachers, or parents but also from the existence of supporting facilities and infrastructure, which also includes support for the provision of much higher-quality education. The existence of supporting school facilities and infrastructure not only has an impact on student learning activities but also on the extracurricular activities that students participate in. Extracurricular activities are a form of activity that provides a forum for students to improve their abilities outside of academics. Extracurricular activities require complete and good facilities and infrastructure in order to achieve effectiveness in their implementation. In reality, on the ground, there are still limitations in the provision of facilities and infrastructure in schools. This research aims to determine the importance of school facilities and infrastructure for elementary school students' extracurricular activities. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research data was collected through interviews and observations. The results of this research show that facilities and infrastructure are important because they are related to the purpose of extracurricular activities which can increase and develop students' potential, shape students' social skills, serve as recreational activities for students, and have the potential for career planning for students.

Abstract

Economic growth and environmental sustainability are challenges facing modern society. Environmentally based education (Green Education) needs to be implemented to build an attitude of caring for the environment, as well as prepare students to face future challenges, namely by turning students into citizens who can utilize natural resources wisely in economic activities without causing environmental problems. The type of data from this research is qualitative data using the literature study method. The research results show that instilling green education in students aims to develop and train students to be able to care for and protect the environment from an early age. Schools have an important role in supporting the implementation of green education by integrating it into the curriculum, establishing a sustainable lifestyle, increasing awareness about the environment, and developing collaboration with the government and business actors. Green education is expected to be an effort to prepare students for a green economy, namely by changing behavior, honing skills and environmentally friendly entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Project based learning is an effective and efficient learning method in the learning process. Because student are trained to analyze problems, then carry out exploration, collect information, interpret and assess when working on projects related to the problems being studied. This research aims to find out the process of implementing project based learning at Nanggulan state elementary Scool. Which is in Nanggulan, Maguwoharjo, Depok District. This research uses a qualitative approach while the research method is descriptive. To collect data, researchers used observation, documentation and interviews. Based on data obtained through interviews with class IV homeroom teachers and classroom observations. It is known that a project based learning approach has been implemented. The implementation of project based learning in Nanggulan state elementary schools is carried out through several stages and processes, though planning and implementation stages. The second problem is supporting factors and obstacles to implementing project based learning. According to data obtained by researchers, the supporting factors are adequate infrastructure, professionalism and new enthusiasm, and students’ interest in learning who tend to be more enthusiastic when implementing project based learning. The obstacle to implementing project based based learning is the creation of teaching modules. Obstacles that may be faced in creating teaching modules include limited resources, development skills, and continuous evaluation. Keywords: project based learning, Elementary School Abstrak Project based learning sebagai salah satu pembelajaran yang efektif dan efesien didalam proses pembelajaran. Karena siswa dilatih untuk analisis terhadap permasalahan, kemudian melakukan eksplorasi, mengumpulkan informasi, interprestasi, dan penilaian dalam mengerjakan proyek yang terkait dengan permasalahan yang dikaji. Adapun Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses penerapan pembelajaran project based learning di SDN Negeri Nanggulan. Yang berada di Nanggulan, Maguwoharjo, Kecamatan Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif sedangkan metode penelitiannya adalah deskriptif. Untuk pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara wali kelas IV dan observasi kelas. Diketahui bahwa telah diterapkan pendekatan project based learning. Penerapan pembelajaran projeck based learning di sekolah dasar negeri nanggulan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan dan proses, melalui tahapan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan. Adapun permasalhan kedua yaitu factor pendukung dan hambatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran project based learning. Menurut data yang diperoleh peneliti, factor pendukungnya adalah sarana prasarana yang memadai, profesionalisme dan semangat baru, dan minat belajar siswa yang cenderung lebih semangat saat pelaksanaan project based learning. Adapun hambatan pelaksanaan project based learning adalah pembuatan modul ajar. Hambatan yang mungkin dihadapi dalam pembuatan modul ajar meliputi, keterbatasan sumber daya, keterampilan pengembangan, dan evaluasi dan kontinu. Kata Kunci: Project Based Learning, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini terjadi pada proses pembelajaran yang berkaitan dengan masih lemahnya kemampuan daya ingat siswa kelas V meskipun guru sudah menggunakan media berbasis teknologi. Maka dari itu diperlukan pemecahaan masalah yaitu melalui penggunaan Media Pop Up Book Sejarah Kemerdekaan Indonsia Mata Pelajaran IPS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ; 1) mengembangkan Media Pop Up Book SKI pada materi kelas V tema 7 peristiwa dalam kehidupan subtema 2 peristiwa kebangsaan seputar proklamasi kemerdekaan mata pelajaran IPS. 2) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap kelayakan Media Pop Up Book SKI pada materi kelas V tema 7 peristiwa dalam kehidupan subtema 2 peristiwa kebangsaan seputar proklamasi kemerdekaan mata pelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Reseach and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD N 2 Tigajuru yang berjumlah 10 siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, tes, angket yang diberikan kepada ahli media, ahli materi, siswa dan guru kelas V SD N 2 Tigajuru untuk menguji kelayakan media pop up book. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa validasi materi pembelajaran oleh ahli materi dengan persentase sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan validasi media pembelajaran oleh ahli media dengan persentase sebesar 85% dengan kategori sangat layak, sedangkan hasil respon guru dengan persentase sebesar 92% dengan kategori sangat layak, respon siswa dengan persentase sebesar 94% kategori sangat layak. dan hasil dari pre test dengan persentase 65, sedangkan hasil post test dengan persentase sebesar 100. Jadi hasil test akhir menunjukkan bahwa nilai siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 53,8%. Dengan demikian, media pop up book sangat layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan daya ingat dan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Media Pop Up Book, Hasil Belajar, IPS

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to inform school principals, educators, learners, parents and communities about the importance of protecting children from violence that occurs within the education unit and in activities outside the school environment. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach because it applies non-statistical analysis and considers the opinions of others. The research used data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing, conducted at school institutions. The results of this study is sexual violence is violence committed by someone by forcing the victim to engage in sexual activity. Sexual violence often has a traumatic impact on children and adults. However, cases of sexual violence often go unreported because people deny that it happens. Many cases of sexual violence are happening around us and need to be addressed. With the cases of sexual violence against children, it is necessary to have a TPPK team that will be implemented at SD Negeri 2 Sumur to anticipate the occurrence of sexual violence in this school.

Abstract

Character education is a fundamental thing that can determine the quality of education and the main foundation for students to become moral human beings in accordance with the values of Pancasila. The purpose of writing this article is to present a literature review from various sources regarding the use of character learning media so that it can help students develop their positive characters. The method used in writing this article is literature study. Currently, many students experience character loss, namely the loss of their own character, making them individuals who behave in ways that do not comply with existing rules. There are many problems with character education, especially in the school environment, and of course this is an important problem that must be resolved by presenting relevant solutions. In this case the author chose to use media in the form of character cards. From the character card media used, it can be seen that students experience an increase in character development in accordance with the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile.
