Abstract

In order to provide information that can be used to improve parental assistance to children, the purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which parents help students study at home. Parents have received many complaints about the prolonged absence of their children since the pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and a non-engaged observation method by observing parents' home-based learning assistance activities without telling children that they are being recorded. The second method conducted five-question structured interviews with parent representatives for each grade level (grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6). The study shows that the role of parents in educating their children to study at home is irreplaceable. Parents need to motivate, instill confidence and show compassion for their children to overcome the challenges they face in school. This will affect not only the learning process but also the children's self-confidence, problem-solving skills, independence, and emotional stability. The study found that almost all parents are supportive of their children's learning, but they need to learn how to help their children learn so that everyone can learn comfortably.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether or not elementary school students' social studies learning outcomes have improved. The Talking Stick model can help students develop critical thinking skills, speedy subject comprehension, active learning, and the ability to voice opinions and questions. Additionally, students' learning outcomes, particularly in social studies subjects, become optimal or improve when the Talking Stick model is used. The document study method, also known as meta-analysis, is used in this study to examine previous research's findings. Ten published journals were uncovered through a Google Scholar data search. The findings demonstrated that the Talking Stick learning model was successful in enhancing the learning outcomes of students, particularly elementary school students. When compared to conventional learning models, the Talking Stick model has produced better learning outcomes in social studies subjects. Adapting the current learning model to the circumstances and requirements of the students is another option if the Talking Stick model fails to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

In the learning process, both teachers and students want satisfactory results. But in reality, something that is desired sometimes does not go well. There are still many students who encounter obstacles in learning so that it makes students have difficulty learning. Learning difficulties are conditions where students have obstacles or distractions in the learning process so that the expected results are not satisfactory. These obstacles or disturbances can be caused by several factors, both internal factors of students and external factors of students. Learning difficulties become an obstacle for teachers when delivering subject matter. Teachers have an important role for students in overcoming learning difficulties. As for the efforts made by the teacher to overcome learning difficulties, namely by identifying obstacles related to student learning difficulties, providing direction to student guardians to overcome problems, and finally the teacher provides study guidance to students.

Abstract

Improving Fine Motorics Through Collage Activities Using Eggshells in Group B Children of the Flamboyan Sarita Kindergarten, Punti Village, Soromandi Bima District (NTB). Thesis. The main problem in this study is how to improve fine motor skills through collage activities using eggshells for children in Group B Kindergarten Flamboyan Sarita, Punti Village, Soromandi District, Bima (NTB). This study aims to improve fine motor skills through collage activities using eggshells in group B children at the Flamboyan Sarita Kindergarten, Punti Village, Soromandi Bima District (NTB). This type of research is class action research (Classroom Action Research) which consists of two cycles where each cycle is held in two meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementation of action, observation and reflection. The subject of this study was Group B Kindergarten Flamboyan Sarita, Punti Village, Soromandi Bima District (NTB). The results showed that there was an increase in fine motor skills through collage activities using eggshells in group B children at the Flamboyan Sarita Kindergarten, Punti Village, Soromandi Bima District (NTB). Improving fine motor skills in collage activities using egg shells which includes 3 indicators, drawing patterns, sticking egg shells on patterns, cutting the collage results according to patterns. Based on the results of the research above, it can be interpreted that the ability to improve fine motor skills through collage activities using eggshells in group B children at the Flamboyan Sarita Kindergarten, Punti Village, Soromandi Bima District (NTB). Increased.

Abstract

Students' interest in learning science is still relatively low, because not a few students consider science as a relatively difficult subject. Interest in learning is very important for a student's learning. The use of interesting and interactive learning media increases students' interest in learning science. The interactive media used in this study uses the kahoot game in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of kahoot games on students' learning interest in grade IV science learning in elementary schools. This research uses quantitative research methods with Quasi Experimental Design with Posttest Only Control Design. Sampling technique with non-probability sampling. This type of research tool uses a questionnaire containing 20 positive statements. In calculating the data analysis, this study used SPSS Statistics 26.0 to calculate the normality test, then the hypothesis was tested using the t-test at a significant level of 0.05. The results of the calculation of the t-test hypothesis test in both classes show ????ℎ???????????????????? > ???????????????????????? namely 2,462 > 2.011 which indicates that there is an influence of kahoot games on students' interest in learning science in class IV SD Negeri 20 Pahambatan Balingka.

Abstract

In order to create a conducive learning environment and achieve maximum results, as educators, they must be aware and able to make updates in education. Using learning media that is effective, interesting, fun, and meaningful for students is one of the methods of learning renewal. In this case, wordwall learning media is used. This study aims to determine the influence of Wordwall learning media on the learning outcomes of elementary school students. This research method uses quasi-experimental design type Post-test only control group design. The subjects of this study were all grade V students of SDN 14 Simpangampek with a total of 40 people. The sampling technique in this study was saturated sampling with a total sample of 20 students as an experimental class and 20 students as a control class. The data collection technique in the form of a Post-test uses test questions in the form of multiple choices. The results showed that the use of wordwall learning media is superior to conventional learning or without involving learning media. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of wordwall learning media affects the learning outcomes of grade V students of SDN 14 Simpangampek. Keywords: Wordwall, Learning Outcomes, Elementary School

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of interactive powerpoint media on higher order thingking skills in learning in the era of society 5.0. This research is a quasy experiment design. The design form of this study is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was all class V students of SDN 11 Pudung which amounted to 56 people. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique. The sample was 28 VA class learners as an experimental class and 28 VB class learners as a control class. The type of instrument that will be used in this study is in the form of an essay test of 5 questions. Hypothesis testing in this study used t-test assisted application program SPSS 20.0 for Windows. The results showed that interactive powerpoint media applied in experimental classes were very effective against higher order thingking skills. The hypothesis test results with a sig value of 0.003 smaller than the significance level of 0.05 can then be made a decision that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted where there is a significant difference between the higher order thingking skill of the control class and the experimental class.

Abstract

A quality learning assessment instrument is a measuring tool to determine student learning outcomes. This HOTS-based assessment instrument preparation training aims to improve the ability of SDN 09 Kampung Melayu teachers in developing HOTS-based assessment instruments. This training activity is urgently needed by teachers due to the low competence of teachers in designing assessment instruments according to curriculum standards. Through this activity the teachers provide insight as well as technical skills in preparing assessment instruments. This training activity is divided into five parts, namely pre-test, exploration, elaboration, confirmation and post-test activities. In the pre-test stage the participants worked on questions related to HOTS-based assessments, in the exploration stage the resource persons conducted brainstorming with participants related to HOTS-based assessments. After brainstorming, the informants carried out elaboration activities, namely explanatory material regarding the preparation of HOTS-based assessment instruments. At the confirmation stage, the training participants were directed to form groups and hold discussions in preparing HOTS-based assessment instruments. The next stage is the group representative showing the results of the discussion in front of the other groups. In the post-test stage the participants worked on questions related to the training material with the result that there was an increase in the post-test score with an increase in value of 59.52% where the average post-test score increased to 74.60 from the pre-test average score 44.40 so that it can be interpreted that the results of this training can significantly increase the knowledge of SDN 09 Kampung Melayu teachers in designing HOTS-based assessment instruments.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang peneliti temukan di sekolah kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Kalirejo Kec. Lawang adalah guru kurang memanfaatkan model dan media pembelajaran. Sehingga berdampak pada menurunnya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara signifikan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) berbantuan media pembelajaran kartu kapsul positif dan negatif pada siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 5 Kalirejo Kecamatan Lawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan Quasi Experimental Design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi siswa kelas IV A sebanyak 23 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas IV B sebanyak 21 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan tes. Teknis analisis data yag digunakan pada penelitian adalah uji homogenitas, normalitas dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menghasilan siswa lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran, dapat lebih aktif dalam mengusulkan ide-ide dalam berkelompok, aktif dalam menjawab soal yang telah diberikan. Penggunaan model Numbered Head Together (NHT) berbantuan media kartu kapsul positif dan negatif berpengaruh dalam mencapai hasil belajar siswa yang sesuai dengan KKM. Hasil belajar mengalami perubahan yang diperoleh siswa dengan menguji pretest dan posttest menggunakan model NHT berbantuan media. Hal ini terbukti dari nilai hitung pada penelitian adalah sebesar -2.320 dengan nilai sig 0,025<0,05.

Abstract

Rizkia Innaya Putri, 037118110, Development of Digital Comic Flipbook-Based Media, Theme 6: My Aspiration, Sub-theme 1: My Learning Aspiration and I, 1. Learning media are essential for getting students' attention in teaching and learning activities. Therefore, it is necessary to develop learning media. This research intended to develop a digital comic learning media product based on flipbook Theme 6: My Aspiration, Sub-theme 1: My Learning Aspiration and I 1. This study employed Research and Development (R&D) method, applying the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. This research started with a necessities analysis to determine the initial necessary, design learning media, develop learning media and conduct validation tests on media experts, linguists and material experts; subsequently, the implementation conducted a limited basis to 35 class IV students. The study's findings indicated that the developed Digital Comic Flipbook-Based Media had a highly feasible category. This was based on the percentage of media experts at 92%, linguists at 100%, material experts at 86% and student responses with an average acquisition at 98%. Based on the results of this study, it can be summarised that the Digital Comic Flipbook-Based Media developed was feasible to be utilised as a learning aid instrument.
