Abstract

This study aims to describe the formation of students' religious character and religious activities at SMK Negeri 1 Pogalan. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. Data sources consist of both primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the formation of students' religious character through the habituation of religious activities at SMK Negeri 1 Pogalan begins with classroom learning, providing material based on the curriculum, syllabus, and lesson plans (RPP), which is then implemented through routine religious practices. These religious activities include cultivating the 5S culture (Salam / Greeting, Senyum / Smiling, Sapa / Courteous Addressing, Sopan / Politeness, Santun / Manners), congregational Dhuha prayer, reciting the Al-Qur'an before starting lessons and praying at the end of lessons, congregational Zuhur prayer, Friday prayer, Friday almsgiving (Infaq), "Healthy and Clean Friday" programs, the Commemoration of Islamic Holidays (PHBI), and the Pesantren Kilat (intensive Islamic boarding school program) during Ramadan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principal's learning leadership based on coaching in improving teacher performance at SDN Pameungpeuk 03, Bandung Regency. The focus of the research includes three main dimensions: defining the school mission, managing the instructional program, and promoting a positive school learning climate. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies involving the principal and teachers. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results showed that the principal successfully transformed into a learning leader through the implementation of the GROW (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) coaching model. The dimension of defining the mission was carried out participatively, ensuring that the school's vision was internalized as a shared value. In instructional management, the supervision paradigm shifted from inspection to reality-based reflective assistance. A positive learning climate was created through an appreciation culture and professional learning communities that increased teacher self-efficacy. The innovation offered is the systemic integration of Hallinger’s framework and Knight’s coaching techniques to overcome digital competence gaps and infrastructure limitations. This study concludes that coaching-based learning leadership is an effective catalyst for sustainable teacher performance development in primary schools.

Abstract

The education sector plays a vital role in developing quality human resources, but in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas, issues of unequal access and quality remain serious obstacles. Inequality is further exacerbated by limited educational infrastructure, restricted transportation access, and the low socioeconomic conditions of the community, creating a vicious cycle of disempowerment that is difficult to break. The research method used in this study is a narrative literature review, a qualitative approach that allows for a deep synthesis and interpretation of various relevant scientific literatures. One of the key findings is that geographical barriers and limited infrastructure remain major obstacles for children in rural areas to access quality education, often forcing them to travel long distances with limited transportation facilities. The high number of qualified teacher shortages, especially for specific subjects, remains a crucial issue that directly affects the quality of learning in rural schools. Inequalities in access to and quality of education in rural areas have profound socio-economic implications, not only for individuals but also for regional development as a whole. Various actors, from governments and non-governmental organizations to local communities, play a crucial role in designing and implementing intervention strategies to address this complex issue.

Abstract

The development of early childhood (ECD) independence is an important foundation for future learning success and social adjustment. However, this development requires a consistent stimulating environment between home and school. This study aims to empirically analyze (quantitative data simulation) how much significant influence Management of School-Family Partnership (MKSK) has on Early Childhood Independence. MKSK refers to a structured collaboration between schools and parents, which in this study is measured using Joyce L. Epstein's Six Types of Engagement Model framework. The method used was correlational quantitative research with a simulation subject of N=172 parents of PAUD/TK students. MKSK and Independence data were measured using validated questionnaire instruments, then analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The main results showed that MKSK has a positive and significant effect on Early Childhood Independence, with a regression coefficient of B=0.756 (p<0.001). MKSK was found to account for 45.2% of the variation in children's Independence scores. This finding provides strong evidence that planned partnership management - particularly through two-way communication (Type 2) and home learning support (Type 4) - is an essential strategy for ECD units to create an environment conducive to the optimal development of children's independence.

Abstract

Qualitative research plays a crucial role in social science and educational studies because it can deeply explore meaning, experiences, and social realities. However, students and novice researchers still lack understanding of the techniques used in qualitative research. Therefore, this study aims to systematically describe and explain various qualitative research techniques. This study employed a qualitative approach with a library research approach. Data were obtained from research methodology books, journal articles, and other scientific literature relevant to the research. Data collection was conducted through document search and analysis, while data analysis employed descriptive qualitative techniques. The results indicate that qualitative research techniques include the selection of data sources and types, the role of the researcher as the primary instrument, observation, in-depth interviews, field notes, the use of documents, and sampling techniques such as purposive, snowball, and maximum variation sampling. A good understanding of these techniques can help researchers conduct qualitative research in a more focused and systematic manner, producing meaningful findings.

Abstract

This study examines curriculum development as a continuous process involving planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure education remains relevant to students’ needs and global demands. The objective is to analyze four key aspects: the definition of curriculum development, its models, procedures, and implementation in Indonesia. Using a qualitative method with a library research approach, data were obtained from books, journals, and scientific articles, then analyzed through content analysis to identify themes and findings. The results show that curriculum development is both conceptual and practical, requiring participation from various stakeholders. Models such as administrative, grass-roots, and competency-based approaches highlig ht that no single model fits all contexts. Instead, curriculum development must adapt to social and cultural realities. In Indonesia, implementation has been dynamic, reflected in curriculum reforms from KBK 2004 to Merdeka Belajar 2020. The study recommends enhancing teacher competence, ensuring equitable facilities, and maintaining consistent policies.

Abstract

Procurement fraud is one of the most significant corruption forms in the public sector, causing financial losses, reducing service quality, and weakening public trust. Internal audit plays a crucial role as the third line of defense in detecting and preventing fraud through supervision, internal control evaluation, and recommendations. This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA approach on publications from 2014–2024. Out of 412 identified studies, 32 met inclusion criteria. The review reveals that internal audit serves three major roles: (1) detecting fraud through risk-based auditing, red flag identification, and data analytics; (2) preventing fraud by strengthening internal controls, providing consultation, and conducting anti-fraud education; and (3) improving governance through enhancing transparency and accountability in procurement processes. Internal audit effectiveness is influenced by auditor independence, competence, management support, and digital audit technology. This study offers practical recommendations to enhance internal audit capability in managing procurement fraud risks.
