Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students and their difficulties in writing drama texts. One of the factors that causes this is the lack of creative and innovative use of media and technology by educators. As is known, the use of media and technology in learning can increase students' interest and motivation to learn. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability of students to write drama texts according to the content, language, and structure; to describe the differences in the ability to write drama texts between the experimental class using comic-based flipbook media and the control class using image media; and to test the effectiveness of comic-based flipbook media in learning to write drama texts. The method used is a quasi-experimental method of pre-test - post-test design with a control group. The data obtained were pre-test and post-test data from the experimental and control classes of students in class VIII of SMPN 40 Bandung. The results of this study proved that the ability of students to increase in learning to write drama texts using comic-based flipbook media. This is evident from the average value of the pretest experimental class of 20.75 which increased to 86.00 at the time of the post-test. There is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes, in the experimental class an average post-test of 86.00 was obtained, while the post-test average of 75.75 was obtained in the control class. Comic-based flipbook media is effectively applied in learning to write drama texts compared to image media. This is evidenced by the results of the Mann Whitney Test with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. This proves that the comic-based flipbook media is effectively used in learning to write drama texts.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dihasilkan dari pengembangan media interaktif ini dinyatakan layak dan mampu menarik perhatian siswa yang berdampak pada penilaian kemampuan kognitif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil validasi ahli tiga dosen dan tiga guru kelas IV memperoleh rata-rata 97% dengan klasifikasi “Sangat Layak” diperkuat dengan perolehan N-Gain mencapai persentase 74% pada kategori “Tinggi” kategori serta angket respon siswa. dan guru mendapatkan hasil yang baik dengan prosentase 93,1% untuk respon siswa dan 94% respon guru dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak” Berdasarkan keterangan diatas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline pada Tema 9 Kayanya Negeriku Subtema 2 Pemanfaatan Sumber Daya Alam di Indonesia pembelajaran 5 memenuhi kriteria valid dan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar (SD). Kata Kunci: Articulate Storyline, Tematik SD, Media Pembelajaran.

Abstract

The development of this learning media is a process of activities carried out to produce a learning media based on existing theories and product validation that researchers have made so that they are suitable for use in learning activities. This study aims to determine: the results of the design of visual scrapbook media development on the theme of 7 events in life. The purpose of this thesis is for researchers to determine learning outcomes using learning media using Scrapbook Media. Methods This research uses the Risech and delepoment (R&D) research method. The subjects in this study were the fifth grade students of SDN Sukasaba 1 Pandeglang Regency for the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 16 students, with 10 female students and 10 male students. The data collection instrument in this study used observation sheets and interviews. From the results of the Scrapbook visual media research on the material of events in life, there is an increase in learning in the classroom. And the results of the validation of media experts obtained 85% categorized as very feasible, the results of material expert validation obtained 85% categorized as very feasible, the results of linguistic expert validation 84% were categorized as very feasible and the results of the student responses obtained 81.5% categorized as very good. From the results of these studies, it is shown that learning on the material of events in life using visual media Scrapbook is able to increase the readiness and focus of students in understanding learning faster. Therefore, in learning events in life, it is recommended for teachers to use the Scrapbook media because it can improve learning outcomes and make students understand learning faster.

Abstract

The background that drives this research is the difficulty in learning to read beginning. This can happen because during COVID-19 the learning process is carried out with the BDR (Learning From Home) or PJJ (Distance Learning) system, children lack reading practice. The problem in this research is how is the learning process carried out by the teacher using the Brainy book picture media for reading skills at the beginning of grade 2 SD N 1 Peganjaran? The purpose of the study was to describe the learning process using the image media of the Brainy book for reading skills at the beginning of grade 2 SD N 1 Peganjaran. This type of research is qualitative in the form of descriptive. Methods of data collection using the results of observations, interviews and documentation. The research population is grade 2 SD N 1 Peganjaran. The data analysis method used is data collection, data reduction, data review, and conclusion drawing, as well as verification. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the Brainy book picture media makes the learning process fun and makes students more active in the learning process with the media accompanied by many games. Brainy book picture media makes it easy for students to understand letters in words, makes students interested in learning, and increases student scores. The conclusion of this research is the learning process carried out by the teacher using the Brainy book picture media, namely the teacher using the student centered method (Student Centered Learning) so that students are active in learning and it is easier to understand words or sentences in the Brainy book picture media. For the duration in the learning process used by the teacher using the Brainy book picture media, which is about 30 minutes.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of teacher competence, including personality competence as a role model in applying the character of discipline. That way, this research has a goal of how the teacher's personality competence in applying the character of discipline, especially the process of strengthening the character of discipline in students through giving examples in learning activities, supporting factors and inhibiting factors for strengthening the character of discipline in students, and the discipline character of students in MI Mambul Hikam Binglu after giving the example. The data collection tools used are observation, interviews, and documentation as well as descriptive analysis. In general, the results of the research show that the Teacher's Personality Competence in Applying Disciplined Characters in Class IV MI Mambaul Hikam Binglu is good. In addition, the supporting and inhibiting factors for strengthening the character of discipline carried out by resource persons at the school indicate that there are several influencing factors, one of which is parents who are able to work well together. However, some parents have not been able to properly monitor the tasks given. For the disciplined character of students after giving an example by the fourth grade teacher, it is quite good.

Abstract

Speaking skills need to be developed and learned by everyone because speaking skills are very important in communicating. Likewise in the learning process, it is necessary to practice in the form of oral communication. The problem here is the lack of students' speaking skills in discussing or presenting. Some of the factors experienced by students in speaking skills include low self-confidence, lack of mastery of the material, uncomfortable situations and conditions, and lack of language knowledge so that from some of these factors students have not been able to convey ideas, ideas or goals fluently that can be understood. by listeners. This research needs to be done to find out the realization of students' speech acts when speaking activities in news text learning. The approach used in the study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results obtained, the realization of illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts is found in speaking activities during news text learning.

Abstract

This type of research is quantitative research in the form of a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of audio-visual media on English learning outcomes for fifth grade students of MI Nurul Amanah. The results of the research conducted indicate that audio-visual media affect the learning outcomes of English subjects. This study was measured by student learning outcomes in English subjects when participating in the learning process or during the pre-test and post-test. Based on the calculation results, the pre-test score showed an average of 40.8 and the post-test score showed an average of 86.67. Therefore, student learning outcomes increased by 45.87 from a given KKM of 70. The effectiveness of video-based audio-visual media for students in the classroom supports the learning process when students are very involved and interested in participating in the learning process, making the learning process interesting and active. The media can improve student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by students being more actively involved in discussions, creating projects from their own ideas and creativity, and putting them into works to be presented in class. The conclusion obtained from the results of this study is that the application process of audio-visual media in learning English makes it easier for students to understand the material, remember the material, explore their creativity, and improve their learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to find social value in the collection of short stories Kejar Impian Kala Pandemi by analyzing it and utilizing the results of the analysis as an alternative teaching material for class XI high school students. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that religious social values, kinship, mutual cooperation, caring for others, never giving up, being loyal and patient are studied using a mimetic approach. The mimetic approach means imitation in real life in the form of literary works, namely short stories. The number of social values contained in the short story collection Kejar Impian Kala Pandemi by Oktavianti is 63. The teaching materials made by the author are in the form of LKPD. The author hopes that this LKPD can help students and students in the teaching and learning process, especially in Indonesian subjects, especially short story material.

Abstract

Discourse is a complete form of language unit arranged in its entirety so that it becomes a single language unit that contains a theme. There are two types of discourse in drama scripts, namely textual discourse and contextual discourse. This research is a descriptive qualitative research because in this research it tries to collect data based on the literature that is used as analysis material. In textual discourse in grammatical relationships, there are 105 reference data which include personal, demonstrative and comparison references, 20 duplication data including nominal, verbal, phrasal and clauseal references. 19 discharge data and 8 coupling data. Furthermore, in the textual discourse of lexical relations, there are 25 repetition data including epizeukis, tautotes, anasphora and episphora. 19 synonymy data includes free morphemes with bound, words with words, words with phrases and phrases with phrases. 21 collocation data, 6 hyponymy data and 2 equivalence data. The researcher found 14 data that included interpretation including the principle of personal interpretation, 3 locational interpretation data, 6 temporal interpretation data, 3 analogy data related to the interpretation of differences in meaning in an utterance, then the researcher found 12 interference data marked by the speaker not explaining explicitly the meaning of his utterance. In this study associated with the Basic Competence 3.19. Analyzing the content and linguistics of dramas that are read or watched at the XI grade high school level then alternatively as LKPD.

Abstract

-Project-based learning model as a learning model that focuses on a fairly planned cycle, centered on the problem of coordinating ideas from various pieces of information, sequences, or areas of learning.The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the use of the Project Based Learning Model on student learning outcomes on the content of the ecosystem theme science lesson in class V. The efforts made to improve student learning outcomes were by applying the project based learning model. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SDN Kedungpitri 5 with a total sample of 18 students. The sampling technique in this study used saturated sampling, while the data collection techniques used were observation, tests, interviews. The data analysis technique used is validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the t-test analysis of student learning outcomes in the use of project based learning learning models, there is a significant difference to student learning outcomes. This can be proven by testing the hypothesis using the paired sample t test and it can be seen that the value of sig.(2-tailed) is 0.00 less than 0.05 so that in this case Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So there is an influence in the use of project based learning models on student learning outcomes in the content of science lessons with ecosystem themes in class V.
